With their interaction clearly finished, and his two wanderers herded in, Apollo began to make his way towards the lottery booth, intent on reconvening with Cy and checking to see if he'd been fortunate to win anything else; during the last hour or so the lottery winnings had been the last thing on his mind. He hadn't even taken three steps when he was forced to stop, the loud complaints of Eevee causing him to turn around. Looking down at the fuzz ball Apollo immediately recognized the problem, the wet earth sticking fast to the pokemon's paws and preventing any further movement.
"Alright, I've got you." He scooped up the pokemon, flicking and rubbing off as much mud as he could before he brought him to his body, holding him like a football--though the man had never even played the game a day in his life--before he looked curiously at Pearl. "You need help too?" he inquired, receiving a polite decline in return; perhaps it was due to her webbed feet, but Pearl was having a much easier time traversing the mud than her counterpart. Which suited Apollo just fine, in all honestly he didn't think he could hold both pokemon-- it hadn't gone over so well last time.
With Eevee in his arms and Pearl at his side Apollo continued making his way towards the lottery booth, uninterrupted this time, though he stopped halfway there when a familiar blonde caught his attention. Turning to face the man fully he grinned when he saw Lafayette and, after a split-second of thought, changed directions to begin making his way towards him.
"Well, if it isn't my savior," Apollo greeted with a smirk, stopping when he was near enough. "I was wondering where you had gone, you up and left before I could give you your reward-- or my number." Ah yes, smooth lines a-plenty from this man. Though, if he was being honest with himself, he was happy to see the man again, and not just for 'personal' reasons either. The last time he'd seen Lafayette his pokemon hadn't been in the best of condition but, looking at her now, the wide-eyed Espurr seemed to have been returned to a healthy state. Which was always good.

Unwilling to allow Prim to start her dance back up Klefki decided to escape by heading out to investigate the nearby games, pausing just long enough to give Riley a silent nod of greeting. Of course, Prim followed along, floating, bobbing and weaving happily behind him until they reached the first game. Of course the type of game didn't hardly matter, as it became painfully obvious that, no matter the game, arms were still needed to play. Klefki didn't seem to mind, however, a look of interest shining in his eyes as he observed the mechanics of the game.

Though Klefki seemed content with just sitting and watching, potentially waiting for someone to approach the game so that he could actually watch something, Prim had other ideas. With a bit of a twirl the Florges took her place up at the front counter and, with some difficulty, lifted up a bean bag to throw at the hole. Though she tried her best, clearly showing efforts, she simply didn't have the sight necessary to actually see where she was aiming and, as such, only managed to get one bean bag in.

Though Vince didn't necessarily say it, it was clear that he didn't agree with Olivia on the idea of forming friendships with one's pokemon. Which was fine, as well as the two got along she didn't expect him to agree with her on everything; and though she didn't broach the subject, in the back of her mind she did set up a mental reminder to ask Vince about it later. She was curious as to what his thoughts were. Their conversation picked back up she brought up paying for their drinks which Vince seemed open to, but not without a few words of caution. Well aware of the risks her wallet could take Olivia proceeded to tease Vince, suggesting that she'd be killing two pidgey with one stone: giving him a birthday gift and seeing how he acted when under the influence. Though this prompted a return comment Vince allowed it, which certainly made things simpler for the pinkette. "And that's what I like about you, Vince~" Olivia insisted. "A real gentleman, you know. A stubborn one, but a gentleman no less." Stubborn... now wasn't that the pot calling the kettle black?
Teasing done, for now at least, the two moved along to a suitable area for their drinks, settling themselves in at the bar and ordering drinks. Though, for Vince, it took a bit of taste-testing before the man figured out what he wanted; ah, to be young again~ After he'd been situated the brunette offered an apology to Olivia, inviting her to make a few suggestions of her own if any came to mind. Not particularly offended she assured him it was fine, admitting that deferring to the bartender had been the smart choice, even if this was just a fair he would have more experiencing setting up first-timers. "It's a beer," Olivia replied, answering Vince's inquiry involving her drink. "It's actually called 'Red Tail Ale', and it's pretty good. You can try some of mine, if you want, see if you like it." Though she didn't know if Vince would accept her offer, as she could see many reasons why he'd decline, she still felt the need to do so. Perhaps he'd like it?
Now that they were in the pub, and Vince was trying his first 'legal drink', Olivia felt the need to inquire about it, asking him how his drink tasted. According to him it was good, though not his first drink, and as Olivia took another sip of her own drink she listened as Vince explained how he'd had the lighter side of alcohol, such as champagne, during family gatherings. "Aaah," she emitted a noise of understanding. She could understand how lax some families were for their children concerning alcohol, her father had often told her growing up how he'd been allowed to have wine at the table starting at sixteen, and that was... a rather iffy subject for her. Though the law said one had to be a certain age to consume alcohol, family traditions and values didn't always coincide with that, and usually things like that were monitored....
Realizing she was getting off track Olivia put up another smile, brushed a bit of hair from out of her face, and fixed Vince with a curious look. "What's your family like?" she heard herself ask. "You told me about your grandparents, but what about your parents, what are they like? Do you have any siblings?" She was eager to get to know Vince better, the man was relatively closed off, and though she'd already admitted to wanting to use this time to get to see Vince's other side, she also wanted to use it to get to know him better.

Because of the havoc that was caused by whichever team was acting out now, regardless of how many trainers with powerful Pokemon there were around. Honestly it was a little sad for the villain as there was at least twenty trainers facing him down. Considering how fast events seemed to be moving and he was at a total loss at where he was he decided to move into one of the other areas. Checking his Pokenav it seemed that out of all the areas the Tourney Field had the least action. That could mean that if he played games, letting the other trainers deal with the bad guys, he wouldn't be as lost as he was right now. Looking once again at the ongoing battle Simon made sure all his Pokemon were returned before following the signs to the new area.

"Hm...," Sebastian murmured to himself thoughtfully, watching as the nurse returned with Jesse’s pokeball in tow. He gave her a grateful smile as well, watching as she returned to tend to the other pokemon. "Well that’s certainly understandable. She was frozen pretty bad. Same thing happened to Gin…" He tilted his head a bit, still seeming to mull over the thought before finally just shaking his head.
"Well… there was still the stage shows to check out." Sebastian remarked, glancing back over his shoulder and out to the fair grounds. That was really the only thing they hadn’t checked to be honest, though given all that happened it was probably a good bet that it was down for the count. Finally Sebastian simply shrugged, looking back at Jay. "But if you want to start heading out, that’d be fine too. Once we’ve found your pokemon and stuff that is." Honestly, he was having mixed feelings about the situation. "We could go check out the prize booths again though, see if there’s anything else worth getting." Might as well spend tokens before they left, right?
Sebastian glanced down as Igglybuff chirped, little arms flailing with puffed cheeks in a demand to be lifted up. "Hm…," He murmured once more, digging out his pokedex and giving it a check. Well, might as well while he was waiting for his team to return. Lafayette’s gaze shifted from scanning the crowd upon hearings a familiar voice greeting him. With a slight twist of his body he glanced over his shoulder and spotted the familiar ginger-blonde fellow from before. A grin crossed his face and he twisted back, turning around properly so he could face Apollo his hands falling to his hips as he greeted the man.
"Saivya’ eh?" Lafayette replied back, chuckling a little at the response seeing as how it had been Apollo and Cyrus who sprang to his rescue more so than the other way around. That was just returning the favor and all. He did grin though happy to see Apollo was alright, though noting that Cyrus wasn’t immediately noticeable. The little guy hadn’t run off, had he? "Ace ta’ see ya though mate. You righ’?" He inquired. The last Lafayette had seen was after the Dragalge battle; he’d sort of run off in a tizzy after all before checking if they were alright.
At the mention of the supposed ‘reward’ though, he perked up a bit a look of surprise on his face. Oh, Apollo had actually been… serious? Wow, that was a first. Of course, he wasn’t expecting much; if there was anything he’d learn from working for Plasma or even Juliean, it was that rewards were very rarely… rewarding. He mentioned exchanging numbers too… which actually probably Lafayette some slight concern. Oh dear that reading thing. Still though, he didn’t let that phase him immediately instead grin returning as he gave Apollo a bit of a curious look.

While Lafayette conversed with that man from before, Cheri kept a close eye out on the counting of the tokens. In fact she’d had to call the Ralts out several times as it miscounted some of the coins, knocking over a stack that it had tried to place that had a hundred and three tokens as opposed to a hundred. She was just as psychic as the Ralts was and she’d be damned if he’d jilt her with his crummy counting. Noah just watched her with dumbfounded surprise. Vince blinked in a bit of surprise as Olivia went on about how she liked him because he was a gentleman, albeit a stubborn one. He quickly got over his surprise though and settled into a sheepish chuckle. "Well thank you." He nodded, smiling a bit. He felt a bit uneasy with her praise, but it felt good too, strangely enough. Vince shrugged the feeling off with a roll of his shoulders and focused on their task at hand, finding a suitable bar area. Once they did, and got themselves settling with their first drinks of the night, they struck up another conversation, Vince inquiring about the drink Olivia had gotten. According her her it was a type of beer, and she offered it up to vince to try if he wanted. "Alright, here, we can trade." He suggested with a smile, offering his drink for her to taste if she wanted.
Taking a sip of the red tail, Vince thought over the taste. It was slightly sweet, with hints of citrus, something he would certainly drink if it was put in front of him, but probably not something he would specifically ask for. "Not bad." He mused, handing it back to Olivia for now. With their tastings done, Olivia asked what he thought of his first drink, and so Vince felt the need to clarify the fact that his family had included him in a few drinks on special occasions, which Olivia seemed to understand. Or at least she had made a noise of understanding, before asking Vince what his family was like, given that he had told her about his grandparents, but not his parents or siblings if he had any. "Ah.... Um, well....." Vince hesitated. He supposed it couldn't hurt to just talk about his family as individual people; he didn't need to go into detail about the clans. "My parents are.... How does one put it...." This might be harder than he thought. "Well actually my mother and father are very different from each other, so I couldn't just explain my parents as a single unit. My father is a very serious man. He is quiet, keeps to himself, and he is very patient, but you do not want to get on his bad side." Vince grimaced. "He has mastered the art of the katana, his dragons have great respect for him, and he cares very deeply for our family. He is an honorable man, one I wish to be like some day, and the way he looks at mother....." Vince paused and laughed uneasily again and shook his head.
He felt silly, mentioning such a thing, but he couldn't stop now or Olivia would never let him hear the end of it. "You can tell how much he loves her in that look. It is something I actually... Wish for myself some day..." He explained, looking the other way out of embarrassment. He took another sip of his drink and cleared his throat, quickly moving on. "Anyways, my mother, she is quite the opposite, very warm and outgoing. She has this way of moving about the room as if she's dancing. You wouldn't think at first glance that she's a warrior...." Vince chuckled. "Well, unless you saw the scars on her face." He suggested quietly. "Dragon taming is a dangerous art, one that often results in such scars. Do you wonder why, when I capture dragons, I never send my pokemon to battle for me?" He asked. "Like with that Tyrunt in the distortion world, most dragons will respect someone who bests it in combat. If my pokemon beat another dragon, that dragon will respect my pokemon, not me. Dragons don't make the connection between trainer and pokemon, in their opinion I did nothing in that fight, and frankly they'd be correct." He explained.
Vince then moved on to Olivia's question of his siblings. "I am the third born of five children. I have two older brothers, one younger, and a little sister. Chéng is the oldest, he's 30, Jian is 25, then there's me, Wenlong who is 18, and little Hinoka at 15." He explained with a bit of a chuckle. "We are a large family, and considering the fact that Chéng is engaged, it's probably about to get a lot bigger." Vince mused, taking another sip of his drink, only to find that it was empty, so he waved the bartender down. "Can I get another one of these.... What is it again? I don't believe you ever told me what I was drinking." Vince chuckled. "Guinness, extra stout sir. The darkest beer you'll ever find, and one of the best, in my opinion." Vince nodded slowly. "I see, another guinness then please." With that, the bartender prepared his drink, refilling the glass.

Jay frowned, shifting some. "Is Gin alright?" he asked in return. Honestly, he thought his concern was rather obvious, especially if Sebs had had a pokemon get frozen as well. Maybe he took it a little over the top, he knew Jesse was going to be okay, but Jesse wasn't a fighter. It wasn't really her physical health he'd been worried over, and while, sure, yeah, he didn't say that, he figured it was still pretty obvious why he'd be generally distraught in the first place. But, maybe he was missing something....
Jay tried not to really make a face or frown when Sebastian mentioned stage shows. That... wasn't exactly something he could exactly participate in there... Listening to a show wasn't exactly the most engaging thing, not when it was designed for a seeing audience. And while he used to 'watch' movies with his sister all the time, he wasn't sure he felt comfortable having Sebastian tell him everything that was going on. Then again, Sebastian had been perfectly good at that kind of thing so far... "Well, ah mean, ah don' mind stickin' 'round if'n ya wanted ta go check things out," he commented, reaching up to run the back of his hand along his jaw as he thought, "Least give us some time ta check out thuh lotto 'n see whether they got more drawin's ta do 'n such. Think we still each got tickets in some've 'em, and all." He shrugged a bit, then dropped his hand to the side. "Certainly don' mind headin' ta thuh prize booth, at any rate," he added.
He frowned and furrowed his brow a bit when he heard an unfamiliar sound coming from Seb. Now that he thought about it he was pretty sure he'd heard that sound before, with Sebastian, he just.... had been a bit preoccupied. "Yew git uh new pok'mon, Sebs?" he asked, quirking an eyebrow. Of course, his friend's question sort of answered that for him. Jay lifted his head, and was quiet a moment. ".... Ah take it that egg've yers hatched," he remarked. He reached back and rubbed his neck some. "T'be honest ah ain't sure," he admitted, "But uh, yeah... Ah'd think so. Ah mean, dunno 'bout 'difficult', per se, prolly depends on the pok'mon, but... prolly wanna be careful with 'em, encourage 'em and make sure ya don' push 'em too much too hard. But, ah mean... they're still pok'mon. Perty sure they're still durable 'n ready ta go 'n such." Honestly he wasn't sure, it wasn't his forte. "Ah could message mah sister 'bout it if'n ya wanted," he added.
He moved towards the edge of the tent as he thought he heard footsteps, but turned back towards Sebastian when he mentioned waiting for Mimey and the others. "Yeah, if ya don' mind. Should be back soon," he replied. And sure enough, she and the group returned. He frowned at how tired she sounded when she reported back, and recalled everyone save Scy, who could help him get around. They also handed over a large bucket of tokens Golett had apparently been continually adding to, and it felt pretty heavy. Once his pokemon were all returned and healed, Jay put the last of them away, and straightened up. "Alright, ahm ready. Yew wanna head ta thuh prize booth now?" he asked.
