Lacavii's Gone Haywire Izzy Makani Lacavii: *The fur on the back of his neck rises and he growls*Adia: *Swats at Lacavii* Knock it off. Izzy Makani Lacavii: *Snarls and swats back at Adia with a lot more force behind it*Adia: *Ducks his swat and growls* Watch it boy! stare DarkHeartedSorrows Santos: ... -sits infront of Adia and looks at Lacavii-.. You aren't this moody around Emi... Izzy Makani Lacavii: *Bears his teeth at Santos* Things change.Adia: *Keeps Santos between her and Lacavii* He's got a dangerous air around him. Something has really gotten to him. DarkHeartedSorrows Santos: -raises an eyebrow at Lacavii's teeth baring and grins, showing off his own larger ones- And why have things changed? Is something wrong? I'm open for listening... Emi: -glances over at Lacavii, wondering why he's acting weird- Izzy Makani Lacavii: *Growls* What I do or how I feel is not your business. Don't mess with me. *Snarls before turning and walking off*Adia: *Sighs* He's been disappearing and reappearing for close to a month now and everytime he returns he's a little more snappish and defiant. sweatdrop DarkHeartedSorrows Santos: -watches Lacavii storms off and then turns towards Emi and shakes his head so she doesn't bother trying to run after him-Emi: -looks at Santos and then watches Lacavii walk off, curious and a bit scared for her friend; turns her attention back to Tipu and Jericho-... You don't even compare to Tipu, and you're not the king of all the land, nor would you bit fit for king of any land, so you have no room to talk. Izzy Makani Lacavii trotted off and just out of sight of the others stopped and lowered his ears and head and closed his eyes. What was wrong with him why was he always so frustrated and angry around others now? His heart pounded beneath his chest as he started on heading for the darkest woods he could find. A dark place to where his heart could die a little more in disappointment and desire.Adia watched as Lacavii left and then looks to Santos. "I wish I could do something to help him. He's not getting any better any faster. Each time he disappears we lose a piece of the kind, thoughtful Lacavii he used to be." Adia said and she leaned against Santos and burried her face in his black mane. DarkHeartedSorrows Santos thought for a second as Adia leaned against him. "Watch Nimbus," was all he said before gently pushing her off him walking in the direction Lacavii had gone at a fast pace. As he went on, following at a safe distance behing Lacavii, he recogonized the way to the darkest woods and began to worry. What was going on? He never knew Lacavii very personally but he knew enough about him to know that this wasn't the way he normally acted. Izzy Makani Adia sighed as Santos left going in the direction Lacavii had gone. After a moment she lied down on the grass and placed her head between her paws and watched Nimbus carefully.Lacavii kept his head down as he walked however his walk was unstable and he staggered and stumbled through bushes and even rammed into a few tree trunks. He wasn't stopping though, oh no he kept on staggering and stumbling far into the dark woods. The canopy above was so thick that it caused a sunny afternoon to turn dark as night. This didn't seem to bother Lacavii at all though in fact he seemed to enjoy it as his pace quickened and he was soon trotting through the bushes with practiced ease. DarkHeartedSorrows Santos kept low to the ground, using the bushes to hide him. Everytime Lacavii would ram into a trunk his muscles tensed and he got ready to jump out if Lacavii were to fall unconcious. The darkness made his pale coat stand out a little too well, but his light blue eyes scanned the area with some concern. He could see fine in the dark, because of his past, and so he avoided many dangers of the dark woods. Izzy Makani Lacavii seemed to know where he was going as he stepped up his pace even more and was soon running through the bushes. The tips of his ears had been tingling ever since he'd left the open area and headed into the woods. In the past the only times his ears had ever tingled was when someone was following him or watching him from a distance and being as the forest foilage was too thick for someone to be watching him there had to be someone following him. Lacavii jumped and weaved through the brush hoping to throw off his attacked however just as Lacavii got to the fastest speed he could in the brush he came upon a deep dip in the land scape and tripped over a log sending him head first down into the dip where he slammed his back against a large rock leaning against the other side of the dip. He screamed out in pain instantly and tried to right himself from his upside down position against the large rock. DarkHeartedSorrows Santos pratically slithered through the bushes, easily keeping up with the teen, another skill from his past. He began to pant lightly and stopped for a second, eyes wide with fear, as he heard the green one's cry of pain. He quickly abandoned the bushes, leaping out and landing infront of Lacavii. Using his shoulder he pushed the other up and onto his back. He then began to head back through the dense, dark, green woods. The injuries from ramming into trees and that rock would need to be attended to by a shaman. Izzy Makani Lacavii growled weakly as Santos appeared in front of him and righted him before running off through the brush. Another weak growl escaped Lacavii's lips as he lied his head down and tried to catch his breath. Pain was running down his spine and the taste of blood was in his mouth and his tongue hurt; he must have bitten his tongue in the tumble. He sighed bringing air into his lungs which also hurt now. Now what was he going to do? That stupid lion Santos had run off and he was pretty much defenseless. He had to get up... now. DarkHeartedSorrows Santos appeared back infront of Lacavii with various herbs in his mouth. Carefully he ripped peices of the plants and mashed some of them together on a flat rock into a fine poweder. Licking the open wounds clean he placed some of the powder onto leaves and pressed them to the wounds making them stick. It was a simple way to stop the bleeding and possibly keep it from getting infected but Lacavii needed more than what Santos had the power to do. He looked into the teen's eyes looking for an honest answer. "If I give you support do you think you can walk? Or would it be easier if I carried you back?" he spoke finally, after all this time of working in silence. "There's no way you can get where ever you were heading in this condition. You need to be treated," his voice was completely serious, which rarely happened. "Oh and, you're going to tell me what your problem is on the way back," he added in as more of a command than anything else. Izzy Makani Lacavii was surprised when Santos reappeared in front of him and started cleaning his wounds and placing herbs on them. He watched Santos carefully making sure the lion didn't do anything to damage the wounds. At Santos' question Lacavii grinned at him and pushed him away with a paw. "I can walk on my own." He said as he half way struggled to his feet, staggered a bit and finally got his footing firmly beneath him. Once on his feet Lacavii looked to Santos with a defiant stare and said. "I have no condition and no problem. I will be returning to my home... without you." Lacavii said his gaze firm and serious. Not giving Santos a chance to disagree Lacavii turned and bounded up the slope in the direction he had originally been heading. Without a word to Santos he walked on further into the forest darkness with only a slight limp emphasising his back right leg. Continued Here.

Cubby issues AmbrelDraconis Salania yiped and spun around "Don't do that!" She snapped, voice high a breathy from being scared. DarkHeartedSorrows Arsenic fell backwards and his eyes twitched from the scare she gave him with her yip and quick movement. "S-sorry your greatness..." he had gotten into the habit of calling her 'your greatness', not out of sarcasm as it had once been, just as a nickname. Izzy Makani Daveigh bounded up to her brother and Salania and pranced around them chanting. "Greatness! Greatness! Greatness!" xd AmbrelDraconis Salania had opened her mouth to say something to Arsenic when Daveigh bounded up, using the nickname he had given her. Mocking her. She couldn't help the snarl that curled her lips back or the growl that rumbled through her. DarkHeartedSorrows Arsenic watched his sister and then groaned as Salania snarled. He quickly covered her mouth with his paw and smiled sweetly at his sister. "Daveigh why don't you go find oneof your friends? It'd be much more fun than hanging around my friends." Izzy Makani Daveigh chanted for a few more moments seeming to turn it into a song and not noticing Salania's snarl. She had meerly caught the end of Arsenic's sentence and playfully turned it into a song hoping to get a laugh. Finally she stopped and smiled at the pair. "So what's going on?" AmbrelDraconis "Your brother suggested that you leave and find your own friends." She growled at the playful cub. Sala moved till she stood at Arsenic's right, facing Daveigh and glaring. Izzy Makani Daveigh looked over at Arsenic with an expression that clearly stated 'Is that true?' DarkHeartedSorrows Arsenic buried his face in the dirt for a second before getting up and sighing. "All I said is that you may have more fun with your own friends insted of being like a third wheel with me and mine," he buried his face in his paws waiting for some form of outburst from Daveigh. AmbrelDraconis Salania looked oddly at her friend before turning her gaze back to Daveigh. "Yes, that is what he said." She purred, smirking. "So, go have fun with your friends." She put a great deal of emphasis on the two words, indicating that she meant something else entriely. Her smirk grew into a grin. Izzy Makani Daveigh growled at Salania. "Shut up!" She shouted and looked over at Arsenic. "I just wanted to spend some time with you brother..." She said with a sigh and looked to the ground.Ori stood just out of sight of the three cubs though unable to keep his hiding spot anymore Ori stepped into view and walked up behind Daveigh. "Arsenic? Is there a problem between you and my girl Daveigh?" Ori asked as he seemed to tower over all three cubs. DarkHeartedSorrows Arsenic practically jumped out of his skin when he heard Ori. "There's nothing~" he cut himself off and eyed the older male angrily. "Your girl? My sister belongs to no one." he let out a cubby growl, it wasn't playful though. It was obvious he had gotten his father's protective nature. "Never call her yours again." AmbrelDraconis Salania, picking up on Arsenic's anger, laughed mockingly at the Daveigh and Ori. "There is no problem that she shouldn't be able to handle. She really doesn't need her friends to help here with just a little verbal sparring, does she?" She purred, pushing up against Arsenic so that their sides rubbed together. Though she still had a mocking smile on her lips, caution played through her eyes. As much as loved a rough and tumble, she knew that it couldn't come to that. Izzy Makani Daveigh growled at Salania again already not liking her attitude. "Why don't you just shut up! I'm talking to Arsenic not you. If I didn't want back up I'd say so! I don't need your smart mouth talking for me." Daveigh snorted at Salania and then turned her attention to Arsenic. "I am his girl because I am his friend and he is my boy because he is my friend. Now forget it! I'll just go play with Ori being as none of your snoody friends seem to like me anyway!" Daveigh said and then turned her back to Arsenic and climbed onto Ori's back. "See you back at the cave Arsenic."Ori couldn't help but laugh at Daveigh's outburst. While still laughing Ori turned and trotted off now carrying Daveigh on his back. DarkHeartedSorrows Arsenic groaned and walked over to the nearest tree, banging his head into it a couple times. "Stupid stupid stupid," he scolded himself for a couple minutes, growling and snarling a little.Nimbus emerged from a nearby bush and pulled his brother away from the tree. He had hidden himself to watch Arsenic's reaction to the older male. "You're not stupid. You're a great brother and Daveigh needs to learn to respect that you and father are just protecting her."Arsenic shook his head viciously and dug his face into his older brothers paw. "Momma and Dad are gunna yell at me, I know they will." AmbrelDraconis Salania followed Arsenic slowly, feeling slightly guilty that she had had so much fun doing that while he was obviously upset. "They have more reason to yell at me then at you." She murmured, sitting slightly away from the two boys. Myanai Kerryn watched the row from her perch on one of the tree's branch. Apparently, she was a tree climber, and it often gave her the escape to keep an eye on the other lions from the above while keeping her peace and quiet. Still, she laughed well, seeing Princess Daveigh ride away in her faithful steed. "I see your sister insists on running away from reality checks, Arsenic..." she said to him and Salania, smirking. "And the tree won't fall down, no matter how many times you try and bash it." DarkHeartedSorrows Arsenic's head shot up and he looked at Salania. "I don't want them to know about your part in this at all. Idon't want them mad at you," he layed back into his brother mane and sighed again. It was good to have a bigger brother that he could alwaysturn to. "My parents fight about my friends too much. I don't want them mad at you, of all the friends I have and will ever have, I don't want them mad at you ever." He looked up at Kerryn and shook his head without saying anything. Nimbus smirked and shook his mane a little while listening to Arsenic's words. He really is the romantic one of the family... AmbrelDraconis Salania smiled and shook her head. "But it is so fun having people mad at me!" She exclaimed sarcasiticly, rolling her eyes upward to look at the lioness in the tree, wondering if she should interduce herself. Myanai "Yes, wonder mom Adia has a tendency to freak out when someone spits the hard truth on her lovely daughter's face. Welcome to the club. And it's a wonder how there is always someone there to rescue her. Feh." Kerryn leapt down her post, landing near Nimbus. "Kerryn." DarkHeartedSorrows Nimbus now decided to speak up and greet the two young lionesses. He bowed his head to Kerryn. "I am Arsenic's older brother, Nimbus," then he turned hishead to Salania and grinned. "You haven't changed much since I first met you...""Why did I have to end up with all the sarcastic friends?" Arsenic joked. Then looked over at Kerryn as she jumped out the tree. "Daveigh'suppose to be the 'sweet' sibling, but I'm~" he cuthimself off from saying something meanabout his sister. He wasn't one to diss a family member. Lady Mirage Yiska: *trotted up to Arsenic's and Nimbus's group after watching Daveigh get chased off, glances at Kerryn but doesn't recognize her, and nods to Salania* Aah, Salania! Long time no see...tell me, what happened to Daveigh? Why she so angry? AmbrelDraconis "You're just lucky." She grinned at him, then looked at his brother. "I never do, but you have." She pawed at his full mane and laughed, shaking her head. "You definatily have." Turning her body slightly, she bowed to Kerryn, barely bending her head. "I am Salania, Princess of Dawn's First Light, Daughter of Akitana and Sabastian." She intoned in a flippiant voice before throwing a smile at Yiska in greeting. Lady Mirage Yiska returns her smile, and laughs, "I'm not not too far behind him, you know..." Myanai "You're a sarcasm magnet, Arsenic." Kerryn mocked... sarcastically. "And keep it to yourself, otherwise mommy will come to the rescue saying I'm a 'bad influence'..." she added to Arsenic, shrugging. Not that she cared about it, but the perspective of losing her friend wasn't too good. "I think I have a title too somewhere, Princess Salania. Let's see... Half princess? I don't really know, nor do I care. But it's nice to meet someone who challenged Spotty." She noticed Yiska, a brow raising. "As I said before, a reality check. You are?" Izzy Makani Ori finally came to a stop next to a large tree and lied down beneath it allowing Daveigh to hop off. "You know Daveigh your parents are not going to happy with your little outburst once they find out." Ori said as Daveigh made an effort to climb up the trunk of the tree. She growled as she fell from the trunk and landed on the ground with a thump. "I don't care. Arsenic's friends have always shunned me. They're all so rude to me and I don't understand why!" She exclaimed. Ori easily placed a paw around her and pulled her to him. "They're his friends Daveigh not yours. So what if they don't like you. I like you Daveigh and I'm your friend." Ori said with a grin and a nudge to Daveigh's muzzle. "Let Arsenic have his buddies and me and you will be buddies." Daveigh glanced up at Ori and smiled slightly. "...Well I guess." She replied and gave Ori a tight hug. AmbrelDraconis Sala smirked, liking the girl immediatly, before making a mocking bow. "Well, then, half-princess Kerryn. I bow before you, since you got to take first blood, so to speak." She rose back up and grinned at Yiska. "Yeah, not to far behind, but still behind. But it's okay, you will grow up someday." Lady Mirage Yiska bows his head to Kerryn, careful to keep his eyes and face cheerful though he thought he could see what would make Adia so...up in arms...about this particular cub. Still, he'd have to get to know her better to see for sure before he made a true judgement. "I am Yiska." Looking at Salania, he smiled and said, "True, you are right...but I fear I will always be behind him in one way or another. He grew up before me, he even has a girl, and will more than likely even have a pride before I even find a mate!" He winked at Nimbus, clearly not worried nor jealous of Nimbus's good fortune. He, himself, found it hard to not think of Natura, though he wondered what she thought of him.... DarkHeartedSorrows Nimbus frowned a little. "Though I will not say that you two are bad influences, I will say that I am not pleased by your actions against my sister. I have a feeling that Kerryn is not really a bad kit and I know that Salania is not bad. I honestly think you both owe my sister some form of apology though I will not force you to do anything," he pushed Arsenic out from bewteen his paws and layed his head on the ground.Arsenic looked away from his brother, knowing that it did not please Nimbus that Arsenic did not stand up for his sister very much. He didn't look at Kerryn or Yiska either, he didn't even look at Salania. Ugh whose side was he suppose to be on?! Myanai "Painfully shinning Yiska." Kerryn said, smirking. It didn't mean wrong, but since it was nickname giving time... "I'm half princess Kerryn, in case it didn't reach your ears." she had liked Salania, the ghostly lioness' sharpness pleasing her ears. Obviously, sarcasm looooves sarcasm... "Nimbus, was it? I'm not going to appologize for something I haven't done. Obviously. Not my fault Missy Daveigh barged into mine and Arsenic's conversation, misunderstood it and mistreated me. Her attitude backfired. I actually know what I'm saying when the words come out from my mouth, very much indeed, unlike her. You play with fire, you get burned. If anyone should appologize, that would be her." Draculas Babe Kamaria approached her sister slowly, she had followed her and was quite bored. Her orbs cast to her whispering a slight hello as she listened to her sister snap at someone. "Is there a problem?" she knew Achilles and Ladishka were close and would get on anyones case if they knew they were messing with them. Especially Achilles, not one to mess with he was almost as big as her father. DarkHeartedSorrows Nimbus nodded his head. "Fair enough. I am notyour parent and have no right toboss you around," closed his eyes and sighed. All this drama Daveigh seemed to be causing was stressing his parents out and in turn stressing him out.Arsenic looked at the new femme that had approched. Who was this one? Myanai Kerryn smirked victoriously. She had yet to be caught unprepared, her mind always racing, her tongue flickering with her despair inducing words. Her gray and red orange ears twitched as Kamaria ushered her greetings, her victory expression still plastered on her face. "There never is, Kamaria. Alone?" she asked, meaning if there hadn't been anyone else coming with her. Lady Mirage Yiska mentally rolled his eyes, but he had to side with Nimbus, and was siding more and more with Adia. He listened quietly, huffing quietly at the comment of whom should apologize to whom. "Poor Daveigh...she never had a chance," he thought. Outloud he said, "There are more tactful and diplomatic ways of ridding yourself of an unwanted presence without totally making enemies of them at the first meeting," he said, a hard glance at Kerryn (whom it would more than likely bounce off), "and there is a time to stand up for those who care about you as well, no matter who your friends are, as friends come and go, but your family is forever." This time, his glance was directed at Arsenic who was still not looking at anyone. "As it stands, what's done is done, and the past cannot be changed. I, myself, will not judge the situation as it does not concern me outside of Arsenic and Daveigh being in my pride. Anyways...let's move on to a...nicer...subject, shall we?" Yiska was quite glad to be joined by another cub, one who looked like she might be Kerryn's sister. He secretly wondered if her personality was much like her sister's or not... Myanai Kerryn wasn't obviously one bit impressed, one of her paws half covering a yawn of sheer boredom. "She's older than me, so supposedly she has more brains then me. Apparently not. She should use them before speaking whatever she desires, as the it was her interpretation that provoked the situation. Huzzah, I'm still on top. But if you want to change subject, your call. I just go with the flow, and my words are plenty, which I bet you're already regretting tasting." Draculas Babe "No," she replied, "Achilles and Ladishka are near." she knew Ladishka more than her sister because she ahd more encounters but Achilles was known by both farely well. She looked to the others not saying a word. To be honest she could care less on whom they were. Lady Mirage Yukio had walked into the last part of the group conversation, staying just far enough away that he wasn't noticed. It bothered him to see Daveigh upset and when she'd climbed up on Ori's back, he'd chased after the big male, though he fell behind rather quickly.
Panting, he was glad to see them finally come to a stop at a tree, and put on a burst of energy. Sadly, again, he only caught part of the conversation as he slowed down to a walk at an angle were neither one would see him (not that he intended that, just the way it happened). His ears drooped as he heard them talking and then hug, and he turned around and walked off, his tail between his legs. He didn't know why it made him so sad to see Daveigh with Ori...just that it did. With a dejected sigh, he huddled in the darkest reaches of a bush, not wanting to see nor talk to anyone for awhile.Yiska glanced at Kerryn, and said quietly, "Did I ever say I was tired, or regretting the taste of your words? No. I just see no point in this subject, as it's like trying to suffocate a deer that died days earlier." He licked his paw nonchalantly, as he could keep this up with her as long as she wanted to, though it wasn't his true nature to debate something as pointless as this was. She had alot of growing up to do yet...perhaps she'd learn some lessons, but he figured they'd more than likely bounce right off her unheeded. He felt bad for whoever might end up her future mate.... Izzy Makani A little while later Daveigh lounged beside Ori. She snuggled against his soft fur feeling rather comforted next to him. Ori meerily stayed silent and watched Daveigh closely. Things seemed to be shifting for Daveigh as they had for him though he could allow her to do as he had and run. She needed to face her brother and let him realize that his cub friends now may not always be his friends but she was always going to be his sister. Myanai Kerryn tilted her head to the side, raising a questoning brow. "You're the ones who keep bringing it up. Besides, it's the only point in common, so what is there to talk about?" Tthe twilight one shrugged, eyeing Yiska up and down before turning once more to her sibling. "He's like Achilles, one tail feather, long fur, strange flakes..." Lady Mirage Yiska laughed and nodded his head, "Yes, I am different than you...I am a lunar lion." DarkHeartedSorrows Nimbus sighed again and kept himself out of the arguement. No need to put himself in the middle of a war that his brother could handle.Arsenic's eyes darted around for a second and he got up without a word. His paws thudded against the ground softly as he began to walk away. If anyone chose to follow him.. well it was their choice. Draculas Babe "You mean Lunar?" she asked, she looked to the one whom was preening himself while talking, "Egotistical much?" she asked while her eye brow was raised, obviously this little fem did not care about first impressions or what not or she just didn't think before she said anything, that or she didn't care what-so-ever. Her orbs flashed at him, she was going to start on him now that he was attempting to lash out at her sister, or so she thought. Achilles and Ladishka had made themselves to a spot where they could see Kerryn and Kamaria, they didn't know if they knew but they did. Achilles watched the lions around them suspiciously one false move and he'd be all over them.Izzy Makani Daveigh finally got comfy inbetween Ori's forepaws. She used one of Ori's legs as a makeshift pillow and stretched her body out between his paws close to his chest allowing his dark mane almost to swallow her. Ori didn't seem to mind as he layed his head down allowing his mane to completely engulf Daveigh's body except for her head. Lady Mirage Yiska watched Arsenic walk away, and thought he had the best idea. He'd mainly wanted to see what this 'Kerryn' that had been spoken of so acidly by his Queen, was truly like hoping that perhaps there had been a misunderstanding. As it was, he had enough to satisfy his mind with that he now sided fully with Adia's opinion of her....though it would be Arsenic's hard lesson to realize that some lions weren't, nor ever could be, called true friends. "Yes, I'm Lunar, and no I'm not egotistical at all, far from it honestly." Spying Naida out of the corner of his eye, looking as if she'd lost one of her cubs, he got up and stretched. "I must be going, I think my services are needed. It was a pleasure to meet you Kerryn, m'lady," he addressed both her and her sister, before turning to Salania and adding, "and it's always a joy to see you, Salania. I hope to see you again soon."
Trotting over to Naida, he did indeed find out that she could not find Yiska anywhere. Nuzzling her softly, he said, "I'll find him, don't worry. I bet he followed Ori and Daveigh...he won't be far." Taking off at a trot, he followed the still fresh scent of Ori until he heard a soft whimper and the shaking of a bush as he passed it. "Yukio?" he asked as he peered beneath. The answer of "I dun wanna come out" came to his ears, so he nuzzled his nose in farther. "What happened? What's wrong?" Yiska saw no evidence of a fight or the smell of an enemy, so knew Yukio hadn't been chased underneath, nor was he injured. "Daveigh...doesnt' like me anymore....she wants to be friends with Ori only," Yukio whimpered.Yiska chuckled, "For some reason I doubt that...did she tell you that herself?"Well...no..." he admitted. "Then how do you know that for sure? C'mon, I see Ori, you can ask Daveigh yourself." He waited for the cub to silently appear and climb on his back before making his way in Ori's direction. While he was still a little ways off, more wondering and concerned about how the male might react to a teenager approaching, he called out, "Hey Ori! Is Daveigh with you still?" Izzy Makani Ori's ears twitched at the sound of someone approaching and an unfamiliar voice caused him to tense and keep his head down to leave Daveigh protected and hidden. "Who asks?" The teen did not seem familiar at all even as he neared. Daveigh was almost sound asleep in Ori's warmth and was not disturbed by the voices at all. Lady Mirage Yiska stopped near Ori, but still far enough away to so as not to alarm the male further. "It's Yiska, I'm a memeber of her pride..." He trailed off as he bowed down to let Yukio jump off and said nothing more.Yukio took a few hesitant steps toward Ori and asked in a squeaky voice, clearly trying to sound more brave than he felt in the big lion's presence. "Daveigh? Are you okay?" Izzy Makani Ori relaxed as Yiska announced himself as part of Daveigh's pride. When Yukio spoke Daveigh opened her eyes and glanced from Yiska to Yukio and then wiggled herself down into Ori's mane trying to hide her whole body under him. "No. I'm not." She said from beneath Ori. Ori meerly eyed Yiska not worried about Yukio. He had learned a while back it wasn't the cub to worry about it was the larger one guarding the cub. DarkHeartedSorrows Nimbus had followed Yiska and Yukio, knowing that no matter how brave Yiska was, he would need some form of backup if Ori should attack. He said nothing as Daveigh claimed to not be okay, but his frown from before deepened and he stepped up to Ori's side. He kept tohis thoughts and let the kits speak. My family is getting real messed up... he mentally sighed. Lady Mirage Yukio took a few more steps closer before asking, "What's wrong? Will you at least tell me that?"Yiska lay down, letting his tail wave lazily behind him as he watched his "brother". He had heard some concerns that Santos and Adia had towards him, but much like Kerryn, he prefered to give each lion the benefit of the doubt before passing judgement on them. He turned his head as he watched Nimbus approach Ori, glad to have a bit of backup just in case as he was still a teen and smaller in size than the others. Izzy Makani Ori tensed again as Nimbus walked up next to him. He knew fully well how Daveigh's pride felt about him and if these two males just wanted they could attack him and possibly take him down before he could get away. However they seemed fairly calm at the moment so he tried to keep calm himself. Daveigh sighed as she sensed Yukio's concern for her and she moved around so that her face was partially visible under Ori's mane. "One of Arsenic's snoody friends verbally attacked me... Arsenic actually told me to go away too." Daveigh explained. She paused as her throat constricted making it hard for her to talk without having to take deep breaths between every word. "I... I only wanted to play with him..." Lady Mirage Yukio took a few more steps farther, wanting to nuzzle his friend, but was hesitant to come much closer unsure of what the rainbow one might do. He looked back at Yiska for help, unsure of what to say to Daveigh.Yiska, taking the hint, spoke up, "What they did was wrong, Daveigh. While I didn't see the whole thing, I did see enough to see you wrongly attacked. You did nothing wrong in wanting to spend time with your brother. Arsenic will learn in time the lesson that not every lion is a true friend, and that while friends are nice, family is forever. You do know that we love you, and we're your friends right?" He said the last part indicating all the lions present, including Yukio and Ori. "There's not a one of us here who would allow you to ever come to harm willingly, whether physically or verbal." DarkHeartedSorrows "Do not assume that my brother does not know such things," Nimbus said calmly, almost yawning. "None of you know exactly the knowledge he posseses. Besides from what I saw All Nimbus asked was that you go play with your friends for awhile, he never outright said he didn't want to play with you, he just wanted some time with his friends alone. You guys are all confusing him. He knows that family is forever, he never said anything that placed his family in a lesser position nor did he appluad the others for doing so. Please don't jumps to conclusions," he shook his head and closed his eyes. Lady Mirage Yiska nodded his head to Nimbus as he said, "Then the fault is mine, and for that I'm sorry. Forgive me." He sincerely was sorry for jumping to the wrong conclusion if that was so, and genuinely felt bad for it. Izzy Makani Daveigh looked from Yiska to Nimbus as tears formed in her eyes. By this time Ori had had enough and lifted his head up to look at the two older males. "And do you not think that Daveigh is not confused by this as well. Here she is hoping to play with her brother and his friend and she gets put down by this 'so called' friend and all Arsenic does is tell her to go away." Ori sighed and shook his head. "I myself am shocked that cubs can be so cruel! And having sisters myself troubles me that Arsenic would let anyone attack her." Daveigh sat up as her hiding spot was removed and looked over at Yukio. He was in her striking range as of that moment and Daveigh took that advantage to reach out, grab Yukio and pull him into Ori's forepaws with her and nuzzle her face into his side to hide her tears. DarkHeartedSorrows Nimbus' eyes shot open and he glared at Ori. "Arsenic is no where near cruel. He did not 'just tell her to go away'. And afterwards he inflicted pain upon himself for not standing up for his sister. He would not make eye contact with me or his friends AND he walked away almost in tears. I understand that my sister is confused but Arsenic is the one stuck in the very middle of all this drama. Like a kit cowering in the middle of a war," hismuscles were tense but he was not giving any signs of striking. Lady Mirage Yukio was actually a bit surprised to have her pull him in with her, and paused for a moment unsure of how to react to her nuzzling his side, but he finally curled tighter around her and nuzzled what he could reach of her head, "I'd never do that to you, you know that, right?"Yiska had lain his head on his paws, contemplating things when Nimbus's outburst made him raise it once more. His voice was quiet and reasurring as he looked between the two older males. "Nimbus, calm down. I saw that too...let's just...drop the subject. This is more something for Arsenic to figure out on his own of who's side he should be on, not for us to hash out as it's just going to add more drama to something that we have no control over. I came out with Yukio only to see that Daveigh was okay, and to help reassure Yukio that the two cubs were still friends and from what i can see, that is still very much the case. Seeing this, I am happy." Izzy Makani Ori had been just about ready to say something else when he felt a poke to his chest and looked down to see Daveigh peering up at him with a pleading look. With that Ori sighed and nudged the two cubs between his paws over a bit so he could lay his head down beside them. Daveigh turned her attention back to Yukio as he spoke and made an effort to curl up with Yukio making a little cubby entanglement. "Yes I know. Yukio, you and Ori are my best friends and I would never trade either of you for another." Lady Mirage Yukio nuzzled Daveigh again, wrapping his paws around her to keep her as safe as he could. He was smaller, but his heart made up for his size. He'd protect her as best he could, it was a personal promise to himself. RP goes from pg. 5150 to pg. 5162

Death to Blondes
Anu glanced around as he exited his Father's and Mother's Lands, a new female had arrived and was chatting it up with Tabby and his parents had recently went out for some alone time so he had gone out as well...what's new? His silvery mane had poofed out as it had wind dried from being in the water, which had him appear just a hair bit bigger but he didn't care. His blue eyes scanned the new lands curiously. Izzy Makani Daveigh strode along through the grasses of a new and uncharted area. This was one of her regular days away from the pride when she usually went out with Ori and spent her time with him but today he was off with Erosia and Yukio was out with his mother so she was on her own. Her white body spotted with black and the deep maroon of the fur on her head and tail feathers helped her stand out fairly well. She was keeping her eyes on the horizon ahead of her and that was how she spotted another walking on the lands. The other was of dark colors mostly black and grey and looked big; even bigger than her father or brother. Could this other lion be dangerous or good? Only one way to find out. She roared at the other lion using a welcoming tone to show she meant no harm. Death to Blondes Anu's eyes glanced up as he heard the sound of a female roar, his ears flickered and dark frame turned to black polk a dotted female. He roared back, telling her he meant no harm. His azure eyes looked over to her and he padded half way not wanting to intrude her 'bubble' space. Izzy Makani Daveigh's ears perked as the lion returned her roar with the same tone. She smiled and started towards him. The closer she got the more of him she could make out. He did look pretty big but he wasn't dangerous she could tell. She sat down a few feet from him and smiled. Upclose he was rather handsome. "Hi." She said happily. Death to Blondes Anu looked to Daveigh she was rather pretty for a lioness, he needed to get out more...there wasn't much of a choice at Le Roi besides Family and that was home...he wanted to get out sometime. He took his paw across his chest and bowed to her. "'Evening. I am Anu crowned Prince of Le Roi De Sorrow." He looked up to her after his bow, she was small...she seemed fragile to him. Izzy Makani Daveigh was a little surprised at his bow but didn't let it show and gave a lion equivalent of a curtsy. "It's pleasure to meet you prince. I am Daveigh crowned princess of the Rose Petal Pride." She replied hoping she was being curtious as she rarely met another royal outside her own family. So far he seemed very pleasant and much different from her father, brother or friends. His size was something she just awed; she even caught herself staring and blushed. Death to Blondes Like Tabansi, Anu had huge paws like his father...he grown more into them than his brother yet they were still big. His muscles flexed as he went to sit on his haunches. "Pleasure to meet you as well Lady Daveigh." he hadn't got this kind of attention from a female before, he smiled to himself inside... Izzy Makani Her ears perked slightly at being called 'Lady'. It wasn't something she was used to but she kind of liked it. "I'm surprised to find another out here, let alone a prince... What brings you out to these parts?" She asked letting her curiousity gain control. Death to Blondes Anu looked to her, "Curiousity, I suppose. My family is at a stand still guess." he chuckled a bit. "What about you?" he asked. He hand't really had an adult conversation with a female besides Mari which really wasn't a conversation with his oh so talkative brother around/ Izzy Makani Daveigh nodded at Anu's words. "Same here mostly. I was supposed to meet a friend and we were going to have some fun, but he's spending time with his mate today so I'm left to my own devices." She replied turning her gaze to the ground and then back to Anu with a grin. "Curiousity can make the day so entertaining sometimes." This adult talk was something she was still getting used to and with Ori and Yukio the only lions she really talked to she wasn't getting much practice. Death to Blondes "Oh yeah?" he asked. "Thats a bummer." he replied. His dark frame watched her gaze go from him to the ground. Had he done something wrong? He hadn't thought so, the Prince of Mystery looked to her inquisitivly. "Curiousity could lead you to the discovery of waterfalls, new hunting grounds and even new friends." he replied while grinning. Izzy Makani She kept her gaze on him now and grinned when he grinned. "New friends would be perfect." She said as she glanced off towards an area near by that looked curious. "Got any plans for the day?" Daveigh meets Anu's family Continuation of the Guild rp Is it going to be? Death to Blondes Anu came to the borders with Daveigh, his female friend. It made him smile thinking of that. His azure orbs looking over the land, he let out a roar signalling his coming home. He turned to his love, "You ready, beautiful?" he asked in his usual mysterious tone. He heard Tabansi roar back, welcoming him. The grey male was sun bathing most likely, he knew what his own brother enjoyed doing. He was suprised he wasn't with Mariposa, though he didn't know if he was or not at the moment. Izzy Makani Daveigh stuck ever closer to Anu's side the closer they came to his prides border. Her eyes darted in every direction looking at every new rock, tree, bush, and blade of grass. "With your support I know I'm ready." She replied. Her ears perked at the roar answering Anu's it was male was all she could tell. Her thoughts raced through her mind like lightning. Oh she hoped his father was more tolerate of his children's loves than hers was. Doodle p***s Benoni grinned, "It seems so. Im very proud of our sons, all of em." He nuzzled Kila's moving tummy softly before he lifted his head, his ears flicked towards the roar. "He's home.." Sniffing at the air, he wondered about the unknown scent. "Hmm.." He lifted his muzzle to the sky and let out a land moving roar, the earth under their paws quivered as several flocks of resting birds took to the skies with disturbed cries. Snapping his powerful muzzle shut, he looked to Angel with a soft smile. He too wished for more time alone with his beloved. Specially with the unknown time of their cubs. Death to Blondes Tequila let a roar come from her as she welcomed him home. Her own roar echoed her mates. She looked to him, "Don't scare off his friend," she joked with him. She lept from her rock gracefully and unexpectedly took her paws upon his shoulders locking her to him and nipped at his ears. "Think we should go see who our son's guest is?" she thought it was best to get back to the whole pride anyways.
Anu looked to her, if he didn't know better he seemed some what scared? He nosed her cheek softly, "You'll be fine," he smiled as he heard his father and mother sound out as well. His ebony coat the darkest of all of these lands yet had one of the most charming and playful with a mysterious touch attitude. Izzy Makani Daveigh closed her eyes for a moment when Anu nosed her cheek. She did her best to stay calm when more lions roared in response to Anu's roar. The lions of the pride were strangers and just the ones that answered Anu's roar out numbered her. Slowly she took a deep breath and nuzzled her head against Anu's neck. "What if your father doesn't like me Anu?" Doodle p***s Grinning he looked up at her and nodded. "I'll try my best dearest.." He then looked to Angel. "Go back to the main cave please sweetie." He padded forward now, towards the pair off in the distance. Hopefully his dear heart wouldnt go into labor along the way there. "Hopefully it isnt a boy...Dont need any males sniffin around here..not with Adaeze.." He shook his head, his ebony and white tiped mane shook like a flowing river. The space between them all slowly closed in as Benoni and Kila moved forward. "We should have everyone come in tonight, specially Niobe from the river. I hunted early this morning..which..is strange for me but we'll have a good feast." Death to Blondes Anu looked to her, "Then he'll eat you for his breakfeast." he smiled he had heard Tabansi tell him that he had told Mariposa that his father ate babies for breakfeast or something along those lines. He smiled to her, "He'll love you." his father was one of the most family knit lions he had ever met and he could honestly say he was proud of his father.
Tequila looked to him, "I worry about her sometimes," she thought of Niobe for a moment and sighed slightly, she loved her like her own sister. Her eyes met his as she looked off, "I'll rejoice when our beloved daughter finds a young suitor." she grinned, "I'll be delighted with the expression upon your face." She was getting excited for her own cubs again as well. She looked to Benoni and nipped his mane once more before walking off ignoring him playfully every once in awhile turning back and smiling slightly. Izzy Makani Daveigh's eyes widened in shock when Anu said he would eat her. She was so gullible when she was scared that she fell for even the silliest trick. "You had me going for a minute." She replied giving his ear a light n**. After a moment she sat down and peered into the horizion. "Anu... Could I stay with you? I mean if your father and family doesn't mind... Could I stay here with you for a little while?" She asked laying her ears back. Deep down she didn't want to go home, not if it meant leaving Anu's side. She wanted to stay for as long as she could. Father, Daughter Time Izzy Makani Outside the Rose Petal Pride's main cave the young princess of the pride, Daveigh, sat. She sat poised and still like a doll on a shelf. Her eyes seemed to be the only piece of her body moving even as the wind shifted about the dark red bangs upon her head. The sun on the horizon was slowly shifting and heading for it's dayly time to touch the earth. In only meer hours the sky would darken and the stars would begin to shine above in all their beautiful glory. DarkHeartedSorrows Santos came to his daughter's side silently, watching the sun crawled down, reaching to the horizon. His mane blew lightly as hers did, shadowing his eyes. "Is something wrong?" he spoke finally. Izzy Makani Daveigh took in a startled gasp as her father spoke. She had not even realized he had came to her side until he spoke. Slowly she turned her head to look at him and smiled. "What would make you think something was wrong father?" She asked forcing her smile to remain as she looked at Santos. DarkHeartedSorrows Santos shrugged. "I haven't seen you sit this still since you and your brother fought. I figured That seeing you as a statuewas not a good sign. So is there, or is there not something wrong?" Izzy Makani Daveigh pinned her ears back against her head. She'd never realized she was that easy to spot when she was troubled. "Well I'm afraid I may have upset Yukio. That I'm the reason he went to live with Yiska." She explained with a sigh and slowly stood up moving off the rock platform of the cave into the grass. Glancing back at Santos her expression seemed to say 'come with me'. "I don't want him mad at me but I don't know what I did wrong." She said as she started to walk keeping her pace slow. DarkHeartedSorrows Santos leapt from the rock platform andlanded beside her, walking with her and listeningto what shehad to say. "I'm afraid I know.. Did.. youask him how hefelt about Anu? Did you actually ask for his opinions? His blessing even?" Izzy Makani Daveigh looked over at Santos with her ears perked and then they fell again. "Well... no. I didn't really ask anyone. Mom knew cause of Zeeza's ever watchful eyes and you found us together that one day and everyone else just kind of found out from there. I didn't think he cared who I was with..." She said really thinking on it now. With Ori he was just happy to see her with someone like he was with Erosia but she never thought about Yukio what would happen if he knew. DarkHeartedSorrows "Daveigh.. he's your best friend. While nothing can change this, the slightest changes in your relationships with others can take a toll on it's balance. Angel you've gotta be careful," he nuzzled her cheek softly. He knew she could figure out how to fix these problems if she just had a push in the right direction. Izzy Makani She sighed lightly and nodded. "As always father, you're right. I should talk with Yukio but finding him. Yiska probably has him on the far reaches of the savannah by now. I will have to wait. Yiska will bring him in for a visit again. I can speak with him then and maybe by then I'll have a good notion on what to say to him." She said with a sheepish laugh as she returned Santos' nuzzle to his cheek. "Thanks father. I don't know where I'd be without you." DarkHeartedSorrows "Far better off," he chuckled continuing to walk. "Now.. tell me more about Anu, because I'm horrifyingly clueless as to what he's like," he shrugged and tilted his head. "What attracted you to him?" Izzy Makani Daveigh giggled at Santos and nipped at his mane playfully. The sun was beginning it's daily routine to set as the bottom of the sun touched the earth horizon setting long shadows of the sparce trees in the savannah in motion. "Well I would have to say it was his charm. He was so formal when we first met. It was sweet."

Some good news for some experienced parents Izzy Makani Night fell upon the pride lands almost as quickly as the wind came and went. By the moon it was very early morning and the sun had more than a few hours before it would peek it's head up in the eastern sky. The queen of the pride, Adia, lay sleeping a top the prides cave. Her usual bed though was inside the cave she had come out to look at the stars and fallen asleep.
Settled in a tree near by the bright pink and green bird Zeeza was watching Adia closely. The queen where she lay was breathing heavily and fidgeting while she called out under her breath, her words being inaudible to Zeeza. Zeeza stayed silent even as Adia began to wimper and get louder. Moments later Adia threw her eyes open and threw her head up in startlement. Zeeza rustled her wings against her sides as Adia sighed and layed her head back down. "Miss Adia?"
Adia turned her head towards the tree Zeeza sat in and perked her ears up. "Zeeza?" She asked and Zeeza took off from her perch coming to land before Adia. "I had the wierdest dream." She started and Zeeza nodded motioning for her to go on. "I was fat. I think I was pregnant and I was running. I was running for the pride caves. I was in tremendous pain. I kept running but I couldn't reach the caves no matter how fast I ran. The caves just kept getting farther and farther away."
"Hmm..." Zeeza pondered on Adia's words. "Didn't you have these dreams before? Back before Daveigh and Arsenic were born?" She asked lightly fluffing up her feathers and letting them fall back into place.
"I did... It was right before I realized I was pregnant..." Adia replied and thought on it before coming to a conclusion. "You don't think..."
Zeeza nodded and a smile appeared on her beak. "I can sense these things." She said using her wing to tap her beak. "You can't see it but you glow with the maternal glow of a mother-to-be. You shine brighter than the moonlight right now."
Adia sighed and a small smile appeared on her face. "Think I should tell the family?"
"That answer is apparent Miss Adia and if I may speak out of character," Zeeza said and Adia motioned giving her the ok. "Duh!" Adia giggled and licked the beak of the bright pink bird. DarkHeartedSorrows Santos had been having trouble sleeping the last few nights, and tonight was no exception. He wasn't worried about it, these times came and went. He checked on his three children at the moment, watching the steady rise and fall of their chests as they breathed slowly. He watched as they would twitch slightly, probably dreaming. His prescious children...
He exited the gace at a leisurely climbing the side of the large caves to the top where he and Arsenic often sat together. The stars shone bright, showing that tonight the top of the cave had another occupent... other occupents.
Santos stepped closer to his mate, coming withen earshot right after their conversation ended, so he knew nothing. He bowed his head to Zeeza and nuzzled his mate lovingly. "Enjoying the stars, Darling?" he icey light blue eyes seemed to glow in the dark as he looked over his mate, and his pale body would have been easy to spot from miles away. But the rose stood out the most of his light features though, sparkling with the stars. Izzy Makani Adia startled at the appearance of her mate but hid it with a smile as she returned his loving nuzzle. "Muchly." She replied turning her gaze to the star. Zeeza greeted Santos with a bow of her head and then glanced to Adia with a smile. "I'll leave the two of you alone." She said using a tone to hint to Adia now was a perfect time to talk especially to Santos.
Spreading her wings Zeeza flew off heading for a tall tree to spend the rest of the night in. Adia watched as Zeeza left and sighed. She had of course picked up on Zeeza's hints right away. Once Zeeza was out of sight in the darkness Adia looked back at Santos and motioned for him to lay down beside her. DarkHeartedSorrows Santos watched Zeeza fly off and settled himself close to Adia. She seemed to be acting.. different. What was that thing going on with her and Zeeza? He laid his head on his paws and looked at Adia from the corner of his eyes. "Is there something wrong? Something we need to talk about?... What did I do this time?" he added the last question in with a scared look in his eyes. Izzy Makani Adia waited till Santos was laying down. He started spilling questions right off and Adia could only smile. He almost looked scared, it was cute. When he stopped talking she nuzzled her head against his and licked his muzzle. "There is something but it's not wrong. We need to talk but you don't need to be so scared. Happy. Be happy love." She replied and layed her head down over his neck in a sort of lion hug. "I think you'll enjoy what I have to say and may even go shouting to the stars, moon and the land when I'm done." DarkHeartedSorrows He stares at her for a moment, wondering if she was just trying to hide the truth, or it was truely good news. She never hid the truth from him though.. Right? It had to be good news! He grinned. "Well.. what is it?" Izzy Makani Adia hesitated for a few moments just enjoying making Santos wait in suspense. "I hold within me the products of two lovers..." She smiled at Santos her eyes sparkling with the excitement she held. "Santos, I'm pregnant." DarkHeartedSorrows Santos' jaw dropped and he just stared at her for a few moments. More cubs.. They had been talking about it for a while.. but he didn't expect it this soon. "You're kidding? More cubs around the caves? That's.." He didn't even finishes his sentence before whooping with joy. Izzy Makani Adia couldn't help but laugh at Santos' excitement. "I told you you would shout it to the stars." She said with a smile and a sigh. "Oh Santos. I love you." Adia's words were almost a whisper but loud enough to be heard. DarkHeartedSorrows Santos nuzzled her for a long while. "It's news worth shouting to the stars and beyond," he smiled at her, eyes soft and loving. "No mere words could express how much I love you." Izzy Makani A purr rumbled deep in Adia's chest as she returned Santos' nuzzles and scooted up close to Santos. "When the sun rises we can give the news to the pride." She said while slowly rubbing her head in his dark mane. "Right now. I don't want to move."
