  Daveigh crouched low in the tall grasses of the plains watching something ahead of her intently. What she was watching to any under trained in hunting skill would see as just a mound of dirt but under that dirt was something Daveigh knew would pop up in three, two, one. There is was! Certainly ugly looking like nothing she'd seen before but to her it was food. She leapt into the air landing with all claws out just on top of the creature, never standing a chance. She tore into the little critters body and soon had her muzzle covered in the warm red blood of the creature.

Anu's large frame appeared at the scent of blood and a female he had met briefly before. His azure orbs glancing to the female, she had made a kill. He wondered what she had killed but it was such a bloody mess he couldn't tell. He was far enough away that he called out to her wondering if she minded if he came closer. The spotted female looked radiant more than ever at the moment.

Daveigh looked up as the voice of another called out to her. She noted it was the male Anu she had met before and called back to him giving him the ok to come closer if he wished. Her face was completely drenched in red it was even in her red bangs though it blended too well to be noticed. She had made good work of her kill leaving even very little of the bones.

Anu looked to her and padded over, "'Evening Daveigh." he smiled slightly. "Or is it blood huntress?" he asked with a hint of sarcasm. She was a bloody mess. He imagained she would be taking a trip to a nearby watering hole or they would?

When Anu neared Daveigh sat down giving him a light nod. "Blood huntress sounds good." She replied playfully. "So what brings you out here this evening?" She asked making to stand and motioned for him to follow if he wanted to of course.

He followed her rather obediantly while he smiled at her remark, "Just wandering as usual." he shrugged. "Gets kind of boring sitting at home all the time." he replied with a playful grin. "So how have you been Lady Daveigh?"

Daveigh chuckled her laugh seeming evil with the now drying blood on her face. "I hear you." She replied and then sighed. "I've actually been doing pretty good. Haven't fought with anyone in quite a long time. It's a new record." She said a confident look on her face. Ahead of them a river was coming into view as they walked coming closer and closer to it.

Anu looked to the river, it was rather large with a shallow end it was perfect. He smiled, "Glad your doing well," his low tone wrang to his own ears. His silvery mane lifted in the slight breeze as he looked to her, "You need to get clean badly." he pawed at her shoulder playfully. Wrinkling his nose at the blood sarcastically.

Daveigh wrinkled her nose at Anu and smiled. "Oh don't like the lovely stench of blood I'm sporting?" She giggled in amusement and took off at a run for the river. She leapt right in when she reached the waters edge and she landed with a big splash sending water showering into the sky. She came to the surface with a gasp and moments later dove back under to roll onto her back and allow her back to touch the rocks on the bottom.

Anu laughed as she went into the waters, he calmy went in and fell into the waters letting them rush over him. His mane drooped showing its full length, it had actually been quite volumized and now it just hung low. He looked at Daveigh in the water and made a face at her from above smiling slightly.

Daveigh noted Anu in the water with her and his current expression. She held back a giggle that would have sent her sputtering to the surface and returned her own goofy expression to him. Looking away from him she spotted one of his paws near by and reached out to grab his leg with her two paws acting like she was about to attack his leg.

Anu lifted his paw and pawed at her owns, smiling. He ducked his head in the water and lifted it under her picking her up upon his shoulders back lifting her back in the air to get a breath...true chivalry. He looked behind his shoulder to see if she was okay she was extremely light to him. His muscles tenced slightly from under her.

Daveigh gasped as she found herself up above the water on Anu's back. She glanced over to his face when he looked back and grinned. "Thanks. About ran out of air." She replied noting his wet face and giggles.

"You think thats funny?" he asked nodding and grinning he threw her from his back into a bit deeper waters so she wouldn't get hurt. He watched her expression watching her go back into the waters, going a bit in to retrive her.

Daveigh was caught off guard as Anu tossed her and sent her flying with all her legs flailing as she hit the water. She sunk into the water going down a few feet before the surprise wore off and she swam for the surface. She took a deep breath as her head came above the water. Her deep red bangs clung to her face blocking her view of Anu or for that matter anything but red fur. She easily shook her head to remove the fur from her face and looked over to Anu. "I thought it was cute." She replied while noting him coming closer and started paddling backwards away from him while keeping her gaze on him. A deviant smile appeared on her face as she waited to see if he would come in after her or if she would have to pretend to drown to coax him in.
