Character Name: Captain Arsenolite/EmmettLocation: Lounge Dice Roll: 3, 9 Emmett hummed lightly as he weaved back through the crows to the lounge after his glow stick deposit, in a cheerful mood that nobody would be able to bring down, he figured. The night was already going so well, and it had barely begun! They were going to have so much energy by the end of this night—this was a damned good idea, this club thing. Spotting Sable, he beelined for her, dropping into a seat beside her. "Hey Sable," he said, giving her a little wave. "You look positively gorgeous tonight." His eyes traced her dress, but for once, it wasn't a leer—it was simple, genuine, and friendly appreciation. She looked good in that dress, and she deserved to hear it from someone who wasn't going to try to get into her pants tonight. Or a drunk girl in the restroom. He'd heard that was something that happened a lot.

Location: Lounge Roll: 10, 1 Once Emmy had gotten a few vlog clips and some b-roll of the aquariums themselves, she stopped the camera for the time being and decided to see what she could see around the rest of the venue. Maybe she'd see what she could drink, too. She was working and knew to be careful not to go over her limits, but she was interested to see what this place was serving up, and if it was any good. As she headed over to the bar, it was hard to miss Waru, looking very much in his element as he leaned close to a man. She didn't speak to him. Instead, as she came up behind him, she traced her fingers across his shoulder, and then, as she slipped past him to settle into one of the beautifully crafted stools at the bar, glanced back at him over her shoulder. She wouldn't interrupt, but that moment was another small indulgence that she was giving herself. As for the bartender, and the man across the bar from him that may have been a friend, a partner, or just an overly tipsy patron, she could not say she recognized them. Perhaps she should have. She saw the pin, and also the fact that Waru had glanced over to them like he knew them. Those secret identities had a habit of being secret, though. All that really mattered for the moment was if the two be too distracted by each other to take her order. "What's the most Instagram worthy drink you have?" she asked.

Liánlí Huang (Kaifeng, Squire of Saturn)Location: Lobby.  It had been a while since Liánlí had gotten to go out clubbing. Mostly, he hadn’t made time for it in a hot minute before Huan-ge’s arrival on Earth because he’d gotten very preoccupied with being Kaifeng of Saturn, with trying to learn his way around the life of a Knight, and with trying to do good in Destiny City.
Ever since Huan-ge had been on Earth, though, Liánlí hadn’t made any time to go out to the clubs because, like……why, though? He had fun with the dancing, and music, and “being around other people” parts of going out clubbing, yes, always. But a major reason for going out to clubs for him had also been hooking up and, like……but why, though? Why go out in search of a fleeting hookup that would probably be nice enough but not ultimately long-term satisfying, when Liánlí had his zhiyin at home and could instead fall asleep in Huanxi’s arms?
But the opening of a new club in town—one that was apparently also some kind of aquarium or something—had Liánlí inspired to come check it out. He’d gotten his hair done up in the braided twintails he’d worn to Pride for the occasion. That hairdo, he’d paired with some fishnet tights, one of his trusty, most beloved skirts—black and pleated with a violet and red plaid pattern that had appealed to Liánlí before he’d awakened as a Saturn Knight but made even more sense now that he had—and a tight black top with gratuitous, black vinyl straps and buckles decorating it.
As soon as he and Ryla walked into the club, Liánlí snatched up one of the glow-sticks, sticking it into one of the skirt’s very useful pockets but leaving just enough poking out for people to see it. “Anything you might wanna check out first?” He smiled warmly at Ryla, happy to let the alien in disguise direct things. This was, after all, Ryla’s first time at an Earthling nightclub. “The ads for this place mentioned the aquarium, the lounge and bar, the dance-floor……”
For extra measure, Liánlí snatched up a second glow-stick that somebody had left laying on one of the lobby’s flat surfaces. This was one of the things he missed about going out to the right places. Glow-sticks made everything better.

Damaris TrippLocation: Aquarium Hallway Damaris had heard of this place opening, and after Mary had explained what an aquarium was, she had been very eager to go and see it. After looking up what a club was and putting together and outfit that…well. It was. An outfit. It was bright, like one you would expect in a club, she thought, walking in and looking around, wide eyed and eager.
She was going to get to see fish! Sea life!
Things she had sorely missed after they had vanished from up on Magion! She was…so excited…and when she was handed a small tube of some kind of liquid that glowed...that was it.
Damaris was absolutely lost with joy and she gave a loud whoop and darted off into the crowd, forgetting that she had come with Mary. Forgetting that she was supposed to be blending in. She wanted to see fish! She wanted to have more of these glowing things! She wanted to have fun.
Holding her purple glowing stick in her hand, she swiftly made her way towards one of the large glass panels, bumping into a rather tall person as she did so, but not really caring. Not really. The fish were amazing. It was beautiful. It was all so beautiful.
Finally, she looked up at the man she had bumped and held her glowstick tightly, though seemed a little dismayed that it was already growing dimmer. “I wonder how they did this! It is fantastic, don’t you think?”

Ilian Jones (General King Jet)Location: Lounge. Behind the bar, serving drinks (bartender) Dice Roll: 1, 9, 1 “You could have learned how to bartend too,” Ilian snorted quietly in amusement. “I happen to like hands-on work.”
He always had. First to rush into something, always chased after by Aquamarine and Seraphinite and others who felt concerned for his safety. He could have said letting himself be caught by a Princess with the high risk of being murdered was reckless, but he’d actually planned that one out, and had the Queen’s permission.
It paid off in the end, although thanks to traitors in their ranks, ended up being short lived victory.
“Everyone is doing a great job. I have a lot of faith in them,” Ilian smiled sincerely at Lovely, but then again, he was used to Lovely’s discontent with things.
When a woman sat at the counter and asked for an instagram worthy drink, Ilian was so excited he could barely contain himself.
“Oh, you’re going to love this. I’ve been hoping to do this all night. Did you know that tonic water glows under blacklights? Isn’t that wild? I’m gonna make you something really tasty, too. Do you like cranberry? No, trust me. It’s going to be purple and you’re going to love it,” he insisted as he immediately started grabbing the ingredients to mix together.
The result was a drink that glowed a slight purple under the blacklight.
“If you want something else, I’ve got a lot I can make,” he grinned as he slid the drink over to her, clearly pleased with himself.
“You want one?” he asked Lovely, flashing him a grin as well.

Lev Sokolovsky (Captain Reidite)Location: Dance floor(ish) Dice Roll: 9 Lev didn’t particularly enjoy the club life. He had some bad memories associated with scenes like this. Memories he didn’t really want to have dug up. But he was there because he was a good Negaverse agent and wanted to do his duty.
No.
He was there because Misha was there, and he absolutely didn’t want anyone doing anything they shouldn’t with him.
Lev acknowledged that Misha was an adult, and he could take care of himself, but there were so many sketchy people, worse than back home sometimes.
So he kept his drink in his hand and tried not to be too obvious as he quietly (as if anyone could hear anything anyway) followed Misha around.
It helped that he towered over pretty much everyone. It didn’t help when he wanted to be inconspicuous.

Well, that was unfortunate. Yuuri felt his shoulders slump a little, because he hoped he wouldn’t have to see anyone he actually knew, but he nodded to acknowledge the warning.
“Thank you… I’ll be back then,” he said, but was still hesitating because he didn’t really want to leave the room.
“Um…” It was probably rude to withdraw an offer, but knowing his least favorite co-worker was out there was so anxiety inducing.
“Could I get you that drink some other time?” he requested, already feeling guilty but…
Oh right… neither of them knew each other’s names.
“I’m Yuuri,” he finally introduced, although his voice was maybe too soft to be heard.

Lovely Belrose (aka General Aquamarine)Location: At the bar in the lounge, drinking Dice Roll: 9, 7, 3 “Well then come be hands-on with me,” Lovely said, leaning maybe a little too far over the bar now.
He unbalanced, wobbled, and sat back down, scowling when Ilian seemed to barely even consider his demand request. Ilian was too busy moving onto the next customer, some woman in a tight black dress (Emilia). Lovely glared daggers at her while Ilian made her drink, silently daring her to bat her lashes or openly flirt with Ilian. Catching sight of the starfish pin made no difference to him. To a half-drunk Lovely, everyone was a threat, especially when Ilian was all sweet and handsome and effortlessly charming.
“Don’t make it so ******** weak this time,” he grumbled at Ilian when the same drink was offered to him.
Suspicious of everyone who came up to the bar, Lovely’s eyes darted from face to face. He caught some blond nearby looking in their direction (Baz). No stamp, so they were too young for Ilian. But they were blond, so maybe the fact they couldn’t drink didn’t matter. Whatever. They at least had the sense to talk to one of the other bartenders.
Then a little cluster of—was that Waru? Lovely squinted, or glared, or both. He had no idea who was with him. Neither of them looked like they could be Faustite, but magic was weird, so who really knew. Lovely didn’t care. They were faces he didn’t recognize and thus people he didn’t know, and right now they were in the way of any chance he had of potentially having any fun if Ilian insisted on remaining behind the bar.

Misha SokolovskyLocation: Dance floor Dice Roll: 5, 2 Misha’s relief at receiving a return text from Yuuri was short lived. Who could he know that was here? Misha was pretty sure Roselite opted to stay behind. Not that Yuuri didn’t have other friends, he just didn’t talk about them often.
With a sigh, Misha sent a heart back then looked through the crowd of dancing bodies. He snagged a couple of grayed out glow sticks and replaced them with fresh ones, offering friendly smiles as he went.
Then he found Lev being a stick in the mud and bounced over to talk loudly over the music.
“What do you look so miserable for? Don’t you come to places like this with your model friends?”

For someone who strung together words for a living, Dorian was an absolutely abhorrent conversationalist.
He sighed lightly, sticking his hands in his hoodie pocket. It was maybe a bit too warm for a club, but bearable in areas where there weren’t any writhing bodies crammed together. It was also the first thing he’d picked out of his pile of clean laundry.
“So…” he tried to think of literally anything to say. “You didn’t seem enamored with this idea at the dinner party. What brought you out here? I’m sure there would’ve been space for you back at—” He had no idea how to talk about any of this covertly. “—at… at the… you know. If you’d rather help out there.”

Stayed away from Dorian’s brother and brother-in-law since she didn’t want to be dealing with family drama tonight. Turned back to her table and found it occupied by someone else.
She sighed and scanned the crowd again. A few glow sticks had gone gray so she offered new ones but couldn’t quite control her resting b***h face enough to make the exchange anything but awkward. Maybe she should head for the dance floor once she finished her most recent drink. There were probably plenty of people out there who could use a refresh.

Dice Roll: 6Now, nightclubs weren’t normally Kayden’s cup of tea, but she had to admit this one was…fun. The bonus she would be getting was also fun, and she made sure that she was doing her best to give out as many glowsticks as she could, and helped herself to a very…small drink.
She had mostly quit, and was quite proud of herself but still…in a situation like this?
It was acceptable to have a small treat. And if it wasn’t, all of the others she saw with the special little pins on…well, most of them at least, had drinks in their own hands as they swapped out glowsticks.

She saw someone who looked…as though they were here by force and made her way over when she caught sight of the pin.
“Hey. This place is interesting, isn’t?”
RBF or not, they were both on the same side of things, so why shouldn’t they chat?

Location: Lounge Aiden was twirling his glowstick between his fingers, not quite showing off as much as he was just trying to see how long he could keep it going for. He wasn’t sure he’d heard his name called or just imagined it but as soon as he glanced around, he spotted Charlie and grinned. “Don’t jinx it!” he laughed, wrapping an arm around her. He wasn’t wearing anything as colorful–a dark green t shirt with a brown sweater wrapped around his waist. Jeans, boots. He had a leather bracelet on with a few beads. “You went all out, didn’t you? You look great! I got distracted by some of the fish on my way in, I hope you weren’t waiting for long. I mean, I heard about the whole mechanical aquarium but wow.” He’d been enthusiastic about robotics before, and Charlie had been patient while he talked things out or showed her some of his own, but this place was on a whole other level. “This place is wild. I want to come back during the day sometime just to watch them.”

I'll shoot you the money if I have to on Cash App." Maybe he could take some notes. His goals, after all, were always to make his parties better. Maybe he could find an interesting twist for the masquerade-- Okay, okay, she had been to more than just fancy parties, but still. He figured she didn't want to spend the night grinding on him. He didn't want to spend the night grinding on her either-- Michelangelo followed Sadie where they led him, settling near the glow sticks with an amused tick of his lips. "Too bad these aren't Kpop lightsticks." He picked one up, too. "Those are even cooler. They pulse with the music sometimes, so when you dance, your whole body is in rhythm with the song." He actually wished there was something like that for jazz or big band sometimes, admittedly. His music could go hard too -- Nevertheless. He moved to spin her about, but caught someone ducking his head and walking away out of the corner of his eye that made him nearly choke on his spit. "Huh. Adam ******** Bal is here." Michelangelo moved to twirl Sadie anyway. "That guy is a douchebag."

Corrupt Kafka René Gastinne Location: Lobby Dice Roll: 1, 3 Smiling wide he couldn't help but laugh. "Of course, my petit ange always making sure nobody bothers me... except for," turning as he heard Melody, "her." There were very few times he ever had to deal with exes and unfortunately, this Sharp was on Alexandre's team. It soured his mood slightly but then he noticed Lorcan and thought he might actually be having a stroke. There wasn't that smell of burnt toast though and as he touched his face everything else felt okay too. "Oh... do you have some sort of part of the family like that?" Because he couldn't really tell who that person was with Lorcan and they definitely didn't look like someone on the team. It didn't seem like they were family either, he would have remembered seeing someone like that during the holidays but then again with all the blondes he was too distracted trying not to lose track of his blonde.
