General Lopezite
Lopezite cast a look at him, almost amused as Alpersite laced fingers with him.
“I’m glad it’s not a message for just us. There’s safety in numbers. Even I don’t like to go into the Rift.” He wouldn’t have taken Alpersite with him if it were just the two of them.
“Have you ever been around this many people at once?” he asked, trying to recall the last time he’d seen so many gathered together.
...It was reassuring, though. That the General King had summoned so many and they had all come--that the goal was a rescue mission. He had the faintest sense of relief at that, like if something happened to him he wouldn’t be on his own. Someone would come looking.
...Eventually.
Hopefully before something bad happened.

Captain BloodstoneA rescue mission in the Rift. If Bloodstone was asked, which he wasn’t, he would have suggested that maybe those who go into the Rift without being properly prepared or having enough people informed of where they were going deserved to be trapped there for however long it took for the youma to consume them. For all they knew, the Lieutenant was already half youma or more, since he was apparently still alive.
Bloodstone cast a glance in Carnallite’s direction, but at the moment there wasn’t really anything he could say that she didn’t already know. She knew they wouldn’t be able to teleport out of the Rift, knew that they had to cross through the Hall of Shadows to get there, and knew, as he was learning, that many of those that decided to show up were severely untrained and underprepared.
Still, it would be a good experience to venture into the Rift in a group. He was curious about the capabilities of their fellow Negaverse officers. _____________________________________ General JetIt was a bit of a relief when Axinite was finally able to tell them what was going on with the mission. He didn’t like the idea that someone was potentially in the Rift alone, nor did he like that a lot of them would be risking their lives to find this person, but Axinite was right to call them in for a search instead of going through countless data that could prove useless.
Jet ignored Aquamarine and Seraphinite’s nagging at each other, and turned instead to where Rigel was standing with two other corrupted senshi.
“Try to keep an eye on the others if you can,” Jet said to Rigel, his voice lowered so as not to make it seem as though he didn’t trust anyone else, but these two corrupt senshi were new, and Aquamarine wasn’t exactly a fan. He glanced in the direction of the blond haired Cymophane to try and get Rigel to understand he meant him too, hopefully without alerting Aquamarine to the gesture.
“See if you can find out what magic the others have. You’re sharp about this stuff, so I’ll be counting on you to keep track of when to use what magic,” he told him.
With only fifteen minutes there wasn’t a lot of time for meet and greets, so he nodded to the two corrupts before turning back to Seraphinite and Aquamarine.
“Any supplies we might need we’ve already collected in our subspace pockets. Rope, extra water, food rations, a fire starter… basic camping gear,” he said to Seraphinite since Aquamarine obviously already knew what they had with them. “I don’t know what is in the supply lockers, but any additional first aid wouldn’t hurt.”
Now, if everyone else could focus on getting prepared, that would be great. _____________________________________ Corrupt Eternal KamaciteKamacite nodded to Cymophane when asked about the dangers of the Rift, but couldn’t bring himself to voice his concerns while he was also trying to keep himself settled. He really, really didn’t like the Rift, but if that was the mission then he would do his best to help.
Thankfully Cymophane’s presence was enough to keep him grounded and distracted from what was likely in store for all of them. Kamacite was almost still upset that his friend was part of the Negaverse, but really he was thankful he was no longer alone. And he planned on keeping Cymophane alive no matter what.
“You can hang out with me,” Kamacite said quietly, cringing a little as he caught sight of the General in question, standing beside the other blond General that he would very much like to stay away from.
“His boyfriend, or whatever he is, really doesn’t like me,” Kamacite admitted to Cymophane with a sigh. “I’m pretty sure he would leave everyone but General Jet for dead if he had the choice. Just… be careful around him.” Other than that, there wasn’t much else Kamacite could say on the subject. _____________________________________ Corrupted Sailor TaeniteTaenite listened attentively to Axinite’s spiel, trying really, really hard not to yawn during the middle of it. Not because it was boring, but because he’d already had four of those five hour energy shots that day and another would have been perfect at that moment.
“Here’s a question,” Taenite said as he waited for enough people to disburse from around Axinite to do whatever so his approach was as casual as possible. “When was the last time you drank any water? The dark circles clash with your hair, boss,” Taenite shook his head, his exasperated sigh lined with some amusement that he could easily explain away.
He pulled out a water bottle from his subspace pocket (because why have a subspace pocket if it’s not filled with useful things? And yes he’d already drank his stash of energy shots from it already) and held it out for the man.
Honestly, Taenite had been looking forward to venturing into the Rift, so he was ready to go when the rest of them were.

Axinite returned his attention to Taenite and did his best to keep a polite, professional expression, but he seemed to nearly falter when the Corrupted Senshi nagged at him. Though he accepted the water bottle, he did not open it. “You should be saving your supplies for the Rift,” he cautioned. “...I shouldn’t accept this if you don’t have more. If you don’t have any, please make sure you stop by the storage room before we leave, and get whatever you need.” He hesitated for a moment, like he was debating actually accepting it, but he relented and opened the bottle. The sip he’d meant to take quickly turned into chugging half the bottle, and he had to forcibly lower it so he didn’t drink the whole thing at once. “...I suppose it’s easy to get distracted down here. Sometimes I forge to look at the time. Thank you,” he said, and while he was minding his manners he also seemed visibly distracted. He reached up a gloved hand to rub at his face, as if he could simply brush away the fatigue before anyone else noticed.

Lt. PeridotPeridot turned to give the General-King the attention he was due when he spoke, the cheer and bubbliness giving way to calm and attention, the woman listening as she watched, befoire looking to Athenite calmly, giving the other woman's words weight as she considered. "Peculiar, I think." Peridot finally answered, and frowned. "Files shouldn't just corrupt out of the blue. Not as far as I know..." Peridot narrowed her eyes, considering the sabotauge risk before deciding it might be, in fact, low, and then shook her head. "I'm afraid I've never been into the Rift. My patrols are usually city only. Hopefully this doesn't go poorly..." Still, Peridot was concerned. Was there a virus, or some magic element at play she didn't know? ...Ugh. Her husband was better at this smart thing, she already felt a headache threatening her. Too many variables, this case. Strange.

Lieutenant CarnalliteCarnallite only knew what was in store for them because she’d had Bloodstone impart as much information as he could think to share. It would be foolish for her to join without the proper background, and foolish for Bloodstone to draw her in without ensuring that she was fully informed. Therefore, she knew of the Rift and its dangers. She’d not thought to explore it so soon after her corruption, but she wouldn’t turn down the opportunity, even if she didn’t care about the missing Lieutenant.
Whoever this Feldspar was, he meant nothing to her. That a General-King would risk so many for the sake of one Lieutenant seemed ill-advised.
Or perhaps Carnallite was heartless.
She caught Bloodstone’s eye but offered no other reaction, face carefully neutral.
“Is there anyone here you trust?” she asked.
She doubted it. August wasn’t the trusting sort; he likely wasn’t any different as Bloodstone. If any of those present had earned his confidence, he would have introduced her to them already.--- General AquamarineAquamarine reacted to the presence of Corrupt Senshi by completely ignoring them. He shouldn’t, because they could prove useful at some point and he needed to be careful around a General King instead of advertising his lack of concern for some of his “allies,” but the less said to them right now, the better.
If they got in the way, he would have nothing against dismissing them. If they proved to be more trouble than they were worth, he’d be happy to leave them in the Rift, and then Feldspar wouldn’t be the only one missing in there.
He frowned while Jet did the issuing of orders, thinking to himself that Jet was far too kind to Senshi. Disgust creased Aquamarine’s expression when Jet actually complemented one of them, but he forced it away quickly lest someone else notice and make an issue out of it, dragging his teeth over his bottom lip as he pretended to consider the situation.
When it seemed as if there was something of a plan taking shape, Aquamarine cast his attention upon Seraphinite again.
“I suppose you’ll be tagging along,” he said. “Whether you want the responsibility or not, you’ve got to earn that promotion somehow, or the wrong people might begin to wonder what’s taking so long. Unless you plan on resorting to sucking up eventually. Maybe it’s the easy way out, but it does have its merits.”
Aquamarine tilted his head and smirked, waves of blond framing his face, holding Seraphinite’s gaze just long enough to be challenging, before turning toward Jet.
“I’m surprised it seems like he’s coming with us,” he said, lowering his voice so only Jet and Seraphinite would be able to hear. “Not him,” he clarified, briefly eyeing Seraphinite again, then jerking his head in the direction of the General King. “Him. I don’t suppose we can leave any of these useless dipshits in the Rift while he’s around.”Noir Songbird Proximity. Sorry, pretty Senshi. Aqua would rather ignore your entire existence. crying Which may be for the best idk he a b***h.--- Corrupt Sailor Cymophane“Jet has a boyfriend?”
Cymophane gasped like he was shocked, mouth open in wide-eyed excitement, glancing from Kamacite to the General in question, who glanced his way at that very moment. Lifting a hand, Cymophane wiggled his fingers in a flirty wave, smiling brightly at his commanding officer.
Even as a Senshi, Cymophane loved gossip.
He turned back to Kamacite, leaning close to whisper at him, keeping his hand up to shield his mouth.
“I’m almost disappointed. He’s kind of cute.”
Jet, not the boyfriend. He knew nothing about the boyfriend, could barely even see him, considering the other General wasn’t facing their direction. That was probably for the best, if he didn’t like Kamacite.
But how could he not like Kamacite?
“You’ll have to tell me all about that drama later. So should we not tag along with their group then?” he asked, dropping his hand and the whispering. “I don’t mind if it’s just us, but I thought it’d be safer with an actual agent or two with us. Not that I don’t trust you to keep me safe.”
Teasingly, Cymophane batted his lashes. He knew this was a very serious situation and not the time to be joking around, but he also thought it might help put Kamacite at ease if he continued to act as he normally would. He could tell that his friend was worried, maybe even a little afraid.
“We can sit this one out, if you want,” Cymophane reassured him. “I don’t think anyone would blame us, seeing as we’re both Senshi. There’s a time to be brave and a time to be realistic about the situation.”

General ArsenopyriteArseno thought he was listening to Beni talk to him. He mentioned medical school being hard... and a break up... and suddenly he was being dragged over to meet what appeared to be two Corrupt Senshi and a chaos Mauvian. It seemed that Beni knew them. There was a gesture and the other General turned to him and then back to the others. Arseno could feel his eyes getting heavy again. "...Arseno." He said, trying to introduce himself and failing to even get his whole name out. They were interrupted by the General-King's speech though and Arseno could just barely make out that they were going to find some felt in the rift. That was weird. Why were they looking for felt? He took another swig of the drink that he had, the caffeine clearly not having kicked in yet. "Rift... going to be another adventure..." Looking for some type of cloth. [Mistress Morbid] The caffeine will start to kick in next post ------------------------------------------------------- Super Corrupt VersaillesVersailles couldn't help but smile at her. She seemed to make the atmosphere a little more relaxed. He wasn't sure if it was from her nature or what, but it made being here a bit more enjoyable than usual. Just a bit. He was sure that the longer she stayed though that the personality would be morphed and changed by the Chaos. It always was, even he could feel it himself. No one was innocent if they wanted to get out of this. "Well, I appreciate the test." He replied, starting his own plate and making sure his now-longer hair wouldn't get in the way. "Good to know that you feel more comfortable now and things seem more familiar. Even though we're powered by Chaos, I feel like there's always a bit of order needed in our lives to make sense of it all." He said, giving her a wink at his own "joke". He took a look around when she mentioned not meeting many others. "Well, I can't say the same for myself. Even if we're more organized than the Order, it doesn't mean we all know each other. Don't know if that's a good or a bad thing. We can recognize each other from our uniforms and auras so knowing isn't necessarily a necessity, but if any of us were to go rogue and cause problems and we didn't record those or we didn't know who was doing it, the we'll have problems we may not be able to deal with internally." There was a database of course where they could read the, often brief, notes on each other, but how helpful that was at actually getting to know other Agents, speaking to a potato probably would give them more information. stari_maga I am so sorry for taking so long to fix that!

Lellouch"I did warn you not to play with that fire... Not my fault you didn't listen." She reached up idly, to brush at the feather stuck in her hair. "Though... I suppose we both got burnt in that particular fire.." Once bitten, twice shy. It was Lellouch's turn for her lip to twitch upwards, though she rolled her eyes. "Don't let him lie to you. He hates me. Beni's just too polite to say so." But then again, Lellouch and Benitoite always did have a rather strange relationship... She wondered once, why he let her harass him the way she did. No other General would have put up with it. Her curled at the mention of said acquaintance. But she said nothing, for all the s**t she gave him, she wasn't about to ream him out for that. Beni had learned his lesson. They both had. "How are you?" She muttered, quietly. A rarity for her. While Lellouch didn't necessarily care for the Negaverse as a whole, or many within it for that matter, Benitoite was perhaps the closest thing she had in it to an ally. She might even dare to say, a friend. The shorter of the two corrupts gave the other General a curious look. "No offense, but you look like death." Lellouch said to Arseno. She was clearly one to talk. CorvusiteCorvus fell silent after that, just watching the exchange before him, and those around him. He wondered what the point of all this was, when the General King spoke. Ah... That made a bit more sense... He guessed. "...So now we are suppose to just check the Rift??" Well, this would prove interesting. He hadn't been to the Rift before.. Sleet Tempest Snape Iolites just chillin in his arms, purrin away. Lieutenant Spectrolite
She'd winced when one of the Generals spoke up to her, the one she belated realized Seraphinite had identified as Jet. Right. Better to be quiet and listen, actually use those manners that she did possess. Especially given the company...
But the actual core of the meeting was placed before them, and she fidgeted a bit where she stood. Someone was trapped in there? The idea that anyone could survive in there for a prolonged period marvelled her, and by the sounds of some of the chatter around her, she wasn't alone.
Her eyes glanced back to Seraphinite, waiting to see if he'd send her any particular instruction, or if she'd just have to sit on her hands for the moment now that plans were apparently starting to be laid out for preparations.
Quote: Spectrolite is open for interactions!
---
Corrupt Sailor Lameia
Pleased at least that her cousin left their sides to... well, Lameia didn't care what she did, so long as she wasn't there. Her head tilted towards Nagyagite as he mentioned the General-King's soft reputation. A slender, blonde brow quirked up, and she paid particular attention to the powerful man as he delivered the further information about their mission.
A... rescue mission. In the Rift.
She wondered if this person the General-King was so worried about might become another half-youma. Jealousy burned in her gut, something she tried to ignore as she focused on the man whose arm she was wrapped around.
His concerns were genuine--her expression gentled. "...we don't need to join them, if you don't want to," she told him softly, keeping her voice low to remain between them, alone. "Yeah, I'm biased as hell about the place, but like... I'm way more biased about you, and I don't want anything to happen to you."
She was already pissed enough about a particular General, as it was, and wished she were stronger to exact some vengeance...
"But I'm totally here for seeing what happens when you're stronger," she added with a sly smirk, a wink playing on her features briefly. Did she care about whatever idiot was stuck out in the Rift? Nah. Would she say as much? Not currently, given the fact they were in the room with the General-King, and other higher-ranking officials. As it was, there was a part of her that cringed at the idea of it being Nagyagite stuck out there, and the feelings that evoked were just as annoying.
Pitty and concern for those outside her sphere of giving a s**t generally weren't her thing.
-----
Captain Carnotite
For a moment, Carnotite had been delighted by the youma. She was, without question, immediately reminded of a dog by his rather gentle behaviour. Something she'd not expected with the big reptile. Despite her earlier attempts to keep her lights on low, the orbs above her head grew a bit brighter, floating around with a sudden increase in energy. Not blinding--hopefully--but her joy was visible with the display.
That he crouched down was adorable, and she giggled to the sweet complement. "Why thank you," she beamed to him (Novus) reaching out a golden hand towards him, palm facing up like she might a canine. She resisted the urge to pat him like a dog--she wasn't familiar enough with his Captain to breach such a thing. Though towards him (Crocotite) she offered a bemused smile, closing her third eye to better see them both without electrical overlaps. "Perhaps, but he seems rather sweet. There's a number of recruits who could learn a thing or two from him, if they must insist on acting without tact nor social grace."
The interruption of an introduction had the half-youma needing to contain more laughter. Instead, she inclined her head to him, pointing a glimmering finger towards herself in turn. "Carnotite. It's lovely to meet you both." She of course spoke the latter part as she also nodded towards Crocotite.
Any further chatter was cut off, however, by a bit of a bumble and stumble.
Novus' tail knocking someone off their feet wasn't perhaps terribly surprising, given the size and strength of the creature. Her eyes widened slightly, a pale brow rising before furrowing at the snapping that came from the fallen agent. Carnotite rolled her eyes, a thing likely not visible amidst the high glow across the expanse of them... and then a Corrupt crashed into the woman on the ground.
The half-youma's expression couldn't have been more deadpan even if she wanted to attempt it. While Crocotite was being quite the gentleman, even offering to help one of the absentminded--or so far as the Captain herself viewed them--agents up, when the Lieutenant (Jadarite) scrambled up to her feet to snap towards him, she didn't even attempt to hide her distain. "Perhaps," she stated cooly, electricity crackling through her blonde locks, "you'd first consider learning how to be mindful of your own surroundings before you make any suggestions to a higher ranked agent. I fail to see how it is anyone else's fault you couldn't see a dinosaur in the room. Or..." Her voice paused, head tilting slightly as a brittle, too-sweet smile formed on her lips. "Maybe you need a stronger prescription?"

Captain Rakovanite
When the initial message came through, Rakovanite had taken a moment to debate if the summons was more of a request or a command. He had no vested interest in the Rift, and finding missing peoples (agents or otherwise) was even lower on his list of priorities. If a General King was making a blanket summons to anyone available, Rakovanite couldn't fathom that he would provide more use than anyone else who'd shown up, so where was the benefit in him answering this call?
...But maybe that wasn't how he should think of it.
He had so few encounters with any of the sovereigns that he shouldn't think he could provide much of anything to any of their missions, but meeting Axinite in person and going on an actual assignment with him should surely be worth the learning experience, no matter how disinterested Rakovanite was in the actual job.
It still seemed like it would be more chore than anything else, but maybe Lashenite would appreciate the incentive...
He sent a brisk message to Cervantite, informing him that he should agree to join, as well, and then Rakovanite teleported himself to Negaspace. As he'd expected, he was not the only one to answer the summons, though thenumber of people here certainly seemed... excessive. Just on a precursory glance around the room, Rakovanite recognized several faces: Seraphiite from the village, Sylvite and Cybele were both in attendance, his charge Calaverite was over by the snacks, Lopezite with someone who looked... vaguely familiar that Rakovanite couldn't place...
Rakovanite's admittedly shallow patience for socialization was immediately overwhelmed, and he skirted most of the groupings to settle off to the side.
Where his gaze immediately found the unforgettable blue and purple fuku of one of the very first senshi he'd ever come in contact with. Rakovanite watched him for a moment, but, since the other man didn't seem to be getting on with anyone nearby, Rakovanite invited a quiet, "Fafnir?" by way of greeting. It had been nearly a year and a half since they'd seen each other, but he thought he remembered the name.
---------
Corrupt Sailor Diesel
Oof.
Ooooooof.
Diesel groaned piteously as his brother's message came through on his tablet. His first impulse was to ignore it: 'I didn't see it, Nat. I swear. I was powered down at the time...' But that felt disastrously unconvincing even when only conceived as a thought. His brother knew how much he enjoyed spending time as a senshi, whether day or night, whenever he was available to do so.
But he also knew how much Diesel preferred to not work when he was powered up. It was boring and lame! Why have magic powers at all if all you were allowed to do was slink through the city stealing energy from dumb civilians?
Like, his time was better spent doing something exciting.
And that probably didn't constitute sitting through a meeting with a general sovereign about missing persons. Buh. Buuuuh. But after a short round of mentally fighting with himself, he really didn't want to go, but Nataniel would be so offended if he refused, and then psyching himself up, it was fine, it probably wouldn't even last very long!, Diesel sent in a message requesting a teleport to Negaspace and was brought to the meeting room.
There were a lot of people here, a lot of auras. The vast majority of which, Diesel had never met before. That wasn't really a problem in itself, but he was never sure which agents were just normal, chill people, and which were crazy murderers. His gaze scanned the room for Rak, who he expected would be here, even if his message hadn't explicitly stated as much.
But instead, his gaze caught on a bob of pink curls, and Diesel was relieved to see, "Sylvite!" He called as he moved toward her. He wasn't familiar with the dude she was with, but anyone hanging with Sylvite couldn't be all bad.
-------------------
Mauvian Gremlin
There was literally no worse scenario Gremlin could conceive of than going into the Rift to rescue some stupid, good-for-nothing human! If any basic-a** lieutenant was stupid enough to get snared up in a youma's web, they probably weren't worth rescuing, anyway. Not strong enough to fend off base monsters, and not smart enough to stay away from them. This Feldspar guy was surely a lost cause, and all the commotion here was way, way more than some idiot deserved. Did any of these dozens of people even know this lieutenant? What was so special about him?
Probably nothing. Just a body that would disappear into the Rift if no one was able to retrieve him.
Gremlin scoffed from where he sat perched at the end of the snack table, sneering at anyone who wandered to close, and watching intently as the humans flit to-and-fro to retrieve their treats before heading on.
This was the only reason he was here: Free food. Yeah, yeah, if it was a mission being led by Axinite, there was probably some importance to it, and maybe Gremlin should take that seriously. It was supposed to be a privilege to join a sovereign on an assignment, blah, blah, whatever. If that wasn't enough, he could see a few scattered members of his newfangled team that he should probably get to know to some degree. The only one he'd met in person was Rakovanite (and he was hardly impressed, at that), so this would be a good opportunity to work with them-
But all that was secondary. In the moment, he cared only about picking through the offerings. Some were snacks for now. Others he stored in subspace. Cookies and such wouldn't go bad too quickly, and who knew how long they were expected to be gone!
He wondered if anyone would try and stop him if he made a move to sneak away once the snacks were picked through. Honestly, no one would probably even notice him slinking along the ground...

"Indeed, you did warn me. We both should have seen how that whole thing was going to end. It was, looking back, rather predictable." At least in part. Maybe not the exact details but the general gist of it all was predictable. That had been a whole mess - he was glad it was over. He was glad no one needed to be burdened with the mess he'd created. "We're both learned to choose our allies wisely and to keep those we trust close...." To appreciate those they could trust and to let them know it. But to also watch their backs for unfriendly knives aimed for them. He had learned many things over time and that had been a lesson he'd never forget - he'd had it inked and scared into his skin.
"I'm well, learning how to live with one less person in my home. It's taken some time but I've gotten better at it." It just took time. It meant he might need a heavier blanket at bed and when curled up in the living room. It meant he walked about the city on his own most of the time. It meant a lot of changes but he'd managed.
"Checking the rift isn't such a bad thing. I used to spend a good deal of time there...I learned to read by the lights of the crystals down there." He didn't mention Bazzite who used to call it home, at least not just yet.
"We'll be safe down there." Leaning down to nuzzle at the top of the cats head. Katya would not be happy with him smelling like another Mauvian, she was possessive, but he figured she'd be even more displeased over missing this mission. The group here would be safe though - two generals and two corrupts...they were good.

General ArsenopyriteHe could feel his eyelids growing a little less heavy as the caffeine finally started to kick in. "S***..." He muttered to himself as he rubbed his head with one of his gloved hands. He still didn't know what was really going on except that they were going into the Rift again. It appeared that he would be going with Beni, these corrupts and a kitty. Fine with him. "I found my youma in the rift. Well, Ödön still is there, but it's still dangerous. And I have no idea where we're going this time and if I've been there before. Guess if you see anything familiar Beni then we can follow your lead?" He took a moment to let the Mauvian sniff him before he pet her a couple of times. "Apologies. I haven't gotten much sleep. You would think that they would want students to be well-rested for medical school, but I guess it's just another way to thin the herd."

Lellouch
"Aw... He thinks we're allies.." The senshi chimed, though her grin only seemed to grow more. Though, she did suppose Beni was one... There was certainly no shaking him. No matter what she did. "Trust is a fickle game Beni... I don't play that one anymore." She threw him a bored look. "Are you still in that massive place by yourself. Or have the plants taken it over at this point?? Whatever became of that teashop?" Lellouch sighed, brushing hair out of her face. "There's nothing wrong with living with fewer people... Less to get in the way. Less to worry about."
"I never had an issue with the rift.. Despite it's issues with me." She paused, thinking back to the last time she'd been there. "It's... certainly been a while."
Iolite
The mauvian chirped in pleasant surprise when Beni leaned down and eagerly returned the affection with a nuzzle of her own and a loud purr. Her ears twitched forward when Arseno reached around to let her sniff at him before he to showed some affection.
A girl could get use to this.
Corvusite
The taller corrupt scowled at the mention of med school. A sore topic after all these years. "Father use to mutter something about caffeine and various energy drinks. Never could keep his story straight though..." Though, for all his swearing by energy drinks and things, his father use to b***h and moan about how bad those things were for people. What was to be expected from a liar and a hypocrite though. "That was how he use to weed out people in the clinic though." He muttered bitterly. At least, from what he could remember.
"Was there anything else I should know?" He asked, mostly towards Benitoite then anyone else.

"You wouldn't call us allies Lellouch? At least to some extent? More than the rest here." His words were casual, even lazily spoken as he glanced about at the others gathered. Most he wouldn't trust to have his back - he didn't know them. They hadn't carried him out of a burning building either...and they hadn't seen him in such an emotional place. "Fickle it is but we need to trust each other to a point. If we don't we'll wind up like the other side. All bickering and unable to work together. It's one reason we've not lost to them yet...they have us in numbers." Though if you looked at things globally speaking than they did have the senshi in numbers. But in terms of this city, which was what mattered more, than they were at the disadvantage.
"I am although my elder cousin lives with me. A lieutenant and not someone I'm letting leave my sight." Not when he was lower in rank and knew a lot less than he did. He wouldn't have him running into trouble with the wrong sort.
"The plants have yet to take over - I have a green house for them. As for the tea shop...what happens to all the plans we have, for energy gathering, that the senshi find out about?" He said, shrugging a bit. He knew she'd figure that out. He didn't have it anymore, how could he? It had been figured out and assaulted by the other side. "We didn't lose...but we didn't win either."
Turning to the waking Arseno he smiled a bit towards him. "It could indeed be a way to thin the herd." Nodding to Corvusite. "As he said. It would do well then to hold on and let the others fall while you remain. If you need help in any way let me know. I'll see to it you finish med school." He didn't know how but he wouldn't see Arseno work so hard and then fall short of finishing med school. He wouldn't permit it if he had any say in the matter, and he hoped he did somehow.
"Mmm, not too much to know about the Rift. Just keep close to myself and Arseno. It doesn't like corrupted senshi - even if you serve us the youma still see you as senshi....we're what'll keep you and your sister safe from the youma."

Captain BloodstoneBloodstone looked around when asked if there was anyone he trusted there, but after taking a few moments to look, he shook his head.
"There aren't many I would necessarily say I trust," Bloodstone admitted, although it didn't help that most people stayed away from him since he had such a horribly angry looking face. "One woman, Reinerite. A General now I believe. She could be trusted. But she must be busy with other things to not be here," he decided.
He didn't know her extremely well, but she seemed to tolerate him well enough, and seemed like she had a good head on her shoulders.
"If we ever get a chance to meet her I will introduce you," he promised, knowing it was important to have connections. Not that Bloodstone had a lot of connections. He tended to inadvertently glare at too many people. Corrupt Eternal KamaciteSomehow, Cymophane's enthusiasm always seemed to surprise him. He knew he should be used to it by now, but it seemed to catch him off guard from time to time. It was rather endearing.
"We probably should not tag along with their group, no," Kamacite cringed at the thought of playing nice with General Blond b***h. He would rather eat licorice.
"Probably best to stick around General-King Axinite if he's going to accompany us into the Rift. I hate to admit it, but I don't think I could protect you if something horrible did find us."
He wanted to be able to protect Cymophane, but if they came across an incredibly strong youma or worse, well… It would be best to have backup.

General ArsenopyriteNow that he was much more "awake", though he would have to bring some caffeinated drinks with him into the rift, Arseno could tell there was some tension between Beni and the Corrupt named Lellouch. He would have to ask about it later, now was not the time for backstories. The other corrupt, Corvusite, appeared to be much more willing to get along with the two Generals. He smiled at the other's frown, appreciating that not everyone liked it. "Yes, I've had second thoughts myself. Been my lifelong dream but then with the way everything is... going, it makes it hard to even try to treat people. I may go a different direction with it than I was planning. At least I'll get some use out of it." He chuckled. Even if it wasn't working at a hospital or something, he could use his knowledge to help the Negaverse at the least. He looked at Beni. "Thank you, I appreciate it. I'll get through it somehow, but any help I can get for it, I would be very thankful for." ------------------------------------------------------- Captain ChambersiteChambersite sighed before he took a bite of one of the cheese and spinach pastries. So it seemed that they were traveling into the Rift. Not bad, and certainly not something he was against, but having to be in a group was what made it a problem. It seemed that everyone here knew someone else and had already started to form their own little sets. It made him realize that he needed to focus more on getting to know his fellow agents and perhaps less on draining energy and going after Senshi. Embarrassing to say the least, but it did give him something to work on for all of this. Quote: Lonely Captain is lonely and needs group but won't admit it!
