User Image "Alright, um... kay" Alma pulled a sheet of paper from her backpack and scribbled her number down, torn in it half and offered both halves; one for Penelope and the other for her number. With her weak smile the goth continued, "Here, write it on that. I kinda need to get home as well." It's almost time for me to go home anyway... Man, my adventuring got postponed... Sighing, she let go of the power and her eyes began to fade into their normal brown.

User Image"Alright, cool," Penelope scribbled out her own number and passed it back. "I'll see you in school, I guess." There was one more awkward moment as she tried to decide what to do from there, but Penelope finally settled on leaving and headed off towards home.

User Image Alma took the small slip of paper and mumbled a thanks and good bye. The following awkwardness was cut short when Penelope left. There was nothing else to do here. With a sigh, the goth turned and headed back to the bus stop. Maybe she might manage to get onto the bus before some other incident caused her to stay any longer. Passing the half destroyed statue, a smile flitted across her face. She wasn't as alone as she thought.

User ImageJen Smith had just left her new house for the first time since moving to Delmor. This whole moving business was a huge hassle. She'd finally gotten her room in some semblance of order and decided that she needed something to clear her head.

Jen went to the first place she could think of to get away to and run. After figuring that even places like Delmor had a park, she wandered around the islandinsula until she found it: Pick-Pocket Park. After dismissing the name as nothing more than the locals being weird (After all, Stop&P wasn't the most normal name ever), Jen found the long path coiling its way through the park.

She took note of the time (3:17 PM) and decided to run until she got tired. She figured that it would be no more than an hour before she would be ready to go home, so she was fine.

Jen began to run and allowed herself to tune out the world for a while. The sound of her phone ringing, which played a short clip of a B.A.N.D. song, snapped her out of it. It was her father, wondering why she wasn't at dinner.

Dinner!? Jen thought as she said she was out running in the park. When the call ended, she noticed the time. 7:43 PM. Why am I not tired? I've been running for almost four hours!

User ImageAllen had worn part of his new uniform under his civilian clothes. It was a little bulky but no one seemed to notice the rest of his stuff that would have stood out he carried in a back-pack as he walked through the park. It was a nice day and he smiled to himself as he watched the kids play in the park. A song came to mind that he whistled to himself as he approached the bathroom, his heart was restless.

User ImageHe sat in the furthest stall as he changed into the rest of his uniform. The boots added about 4 inches to his height in a rather inconspicuous way that pleased him. The goggles turned the world green but gave him read outs on his surroundings which he was thrilled about. The mask muffled his voice and altered it so that he didn't sound like himself anymore. The helmet had ram's horns on it, a touch he hadn't thought of but thoroughly enjoyed. The armor was light weight, durable and allowed an enormous range of motion. Satisfied immensely by his appearance he looked at his watch and once it notified him that he'd been in here for an hour he stuffed the watch and the rest of his civilian clothes into the back pack, removed a ceiling tile, placed the back-pack in there and then replaced the tile.

With nothing left to do he kicked the stall door off of it's hinges. the environmental read-out in his goggles told him the composition of the wall in front of him and pointed out structural weak points. He took one step forward and punched the wall with two hands. The wall shuttered and exploded outward as though a bomb had been detonated on it. Dust from the concrete obscured the children and park goers view of what had caused the blast. Murmurs started as they gathered to see what was in the settling dust.

Allen's vision was perfect, the goggles had adjusted for the dust so that he could still see beyond it. "I have a crowd," He said, "Mustn't keep them waiting." He took a step out of the hole in the wall and placed a hand on the crumbling cement wall. He looked as though he were stepping off of a train onto a platform. The goggles glowed a menacing green as he laughed, "Where are your heroes now?" He demanded.

Josh wandered around the city after getting only a few hours of sleep, his gym bag on his shoulder. He was checking out the park as a potential place for a wrestling show, and certainly it was. Or, it would be if there wasn't just an explosion right there.
User Image
Josh jumped and, a lot like last night, hit the ground when he heard the explosion resonating. He then looked up and, through the dust cloud, saw a vague figure, a large man, more likely than not, the man that caused all this commotion.

All that went through Josh's head were obscenities as he looked around, not many people here who looked like they could do anything. When that figure asked for the heroes, Josh silently answered, "Right here."

Josh looked around and ran behind a dumpster that was placed against a wall. This was a very lucky time for Josh. He opened his duffel bag and took out his wrestling tights, his cape, and his mask and got changed as quickly as he could. He then left the bag there and jumped out, ready to start a fight!

Joel was worn out as he continued on his way home, it was already morning, why even bother at this point. His wings began to fade so he was forced to make a landing on top of a nearby building, low enough that it was safe to land on, and he could see the people and things going on in the streets, but high enough that it was unlikely anyone would see him.

Then, something made him jump, an explosion from the park, someone was causing trouble. He waited a moment, no sirens, looks like the angel was going to have to step in. Justice can never rest, it seems.

Quickly, Joel drowned out the screams and panic and focused, holding his hand over his golden gem, then, a bow appeared, for some reason, one of the only items that gem would make. Joel then grabbed a marble from his bag and turned it into an arrow.

Joel took aim at this man, his size making him an easy target, and waited until he stood still. Then, he let the arrow fly, firing it at this new enemy. The arrow would not be sharp, but blunt, but it would still serve its purpose.

User Image stood amongst the people as they edged away from him. He smiled under the mask and took a step forward. An arrow seemingly appeared out of nowhere and hit him square in the chest but bounced uselessly off of the armor, he felt a dull thud as it hit him and laughed. Lowering his head he charged forward to the street and rammed into a car. The terrified driver got out and ran. Allen picked the car up with some effort and hurled it down the street at the oncoming traffic which swerved to miss it.

He clenched his fists and rolled his shoulders. The goggles assessed his environment for him as he turned to face the park, here he saw a man with a sun mask on his face had appeared, "Well, looks like you'll be the first to fall. The time of reckoning has come heroes! You've enjoyed your privileges without consequence for far too long!"

Josh saw as the man just tossed a car! Alright, this would be a more difficult adversary than he normally used. Still, he could do it, good always wins, right?

As the opponent turned to acknowledge him, Josh smiled and said, "Time for my debut match!" A few people may have been able to hear him, but it was not incredibly loud.

Josh then charged at this opponent and leaped in the air, he would then pull some fancy twists and attempt a punch to the head of the new adversary. He wasn't sure what this would do, but he sure looked cool doing it!

User ImageThe costumed foe started running at Allen and then launched into the air, writhing and twisting as he did so. His goggles assessed the man as a threat. Allen lowered his head and then swung it up like a bull would do to buck a rider off hoping that this would connect with the fools body and cause sufficient damage to the youth.

Josh really needed to think things through before he acted, and that was very apparent with this move right here.

While Josh was riding high in mid-air, he had not ability to avoid the oncoming attack from the opponent. Josh was hit with his opponent's head and he was sent down to the ground, writhing in pain.

Josh curled up, holding his stomach where he impacted with his opponent. Still, the pain was not too severe, Josh had taken worse, but this was not something to simply jump up from.

Allen Laughed, "Rise hero," He turned away and started walking towards the town of Delmor, "That is if you dare to face me again." He wondered where the arrow had come from prior to this hero coming to attack him. He shrugged, he would deal with that problem should it arise again. For now he was a little disappointed at the turn out of heroes to come and face him. He knew the town was crawling with them so where were they?

Josh slowly staggered to his feet, it was going to take a lot more than that to keep him down. But this man was so arrogant, he turned his back to Josh, that would not be acceptable.

Josh then looked up and figured, how do you stop a bull from goring you? Jump on its back. OK, maybe that wasn't the right way to do that, but, his point was made.

Josh got up and gave one of the most cliched lines he could think of, "I didn't hear no bell."

He then charged at the opponent and attempted to jump onto his back and secure his arms around the guy's neck, not chocking him out yet, just holding on to him so he couldn't put up any good offense.

Allen was caught off guard when the man he thought he had incapacitated wrapped his arms around Allen's neck. He shook his body violently as if trying to shed water like a dog but that was all to no avail. He reached behind him to see if he could dislodge the hero but it was no hope! Desperate as he started to feel his oxygen getting cut off he remembered something.

In the princess bride the giant had tried to rid himself of the man in black by slamming his body against objects. He looked around in desperation and saw a tree. Turning his back towards it he used all of his considerable mass to slam the hero into the tree. The tree groaned and shook under the blast. The hero seemed determined to hold on however and he was forced to try and find another source to slam against. At the same time he tried to reach back at the hero again and decided to try and take the heroes mask off, after all no hero wants to be publicly unveiled.

Josh was slammed into the tree and almost lost his grip, but he kept a hold of this opponent. But this man did not stop, he kept on flailing around, it wouldn't be long before Josh's strength failed him and he ended up flying off.

Well, that didn't happen. Instead, the man grabbed Josh's mask! This was not good, a hero without a mask is in grave peril! Though, Josh really didn't have all that much to fear for himself, but he acted before he thought.

Josh let go of his opponent's neck and grabbed onto his poorly-made mask to make sure it stayed on. However, in doing this, Josh lost his only advantage.
