User ImageAt some random moment in time, Elisia had managed to visit her again and healed her wounds as best as she could before moving on most likely to find another injured soul. Cho was watching the Captain leave when she heard it: the indeniable sound of Shiruba leaving her side and rushing towards their opponent with a lengthened sword. Would she have to call him 'Baka' again? The sprite unsheathed her own sword and did series of Shunpo so that before Shiruba was even in reach of the Sephira, she was able to push him back with enough force but not bone-breaking as well as to settle her attention on Kazuma as she raced towards him herself. She had seen his two set themselves on fire. The problem was that she wielded only one. "It will have to do," she whispered, "Banmeno Kooru: Tsuin en no Kixyuujixyou." It was a made-up name because she did not know the title of each Sephira's specialized attacks but as the words left her mouth, her blade was set on fire with the combined temperature of both of his when he had used the attack on them. With the fiery sword held in both hands for a better impact, Cho aimed the weapon so that it would pierce through whatever defense mechanism that he had in place and into his heart. After her hands had taken that plunge, Cho spoke with a loud voice so that Shiruba would be able to hear her, "I don't think that you remember what Eriko told you. 'Don't do anything stupid' means not getting yourself killed for no good reason. Do we understand each other, Baka? Kill yourself on your own time, dammit." The flames were bothering her greatly since fire was not her element in any sense of the word but like hell, she was going to let a Lieutenant die because of that.

Hakase Yuki
博士雪
Ichibantai Taichō

Yuki looked on as Ori took her attack without worry and broke it with his body's heat; she knew that much just from tutoring in her childhood. Afterward, she watched as he returned to the same flame form he had already been in, which was what she had planned for, but had not specifically known he would do. His return to that form told her that he wasn't aware of what she could do to his body while he was like that, or he simply didn't care. Yuki was inclined to believe the former up until the moment he witnessed her flame control and yet still remained in that form. Arrogance, she had thought; it was nothing more than foolish arrogance. "Men." Rolling her eyes at this notion, Yuki knew well enough that her pillar was doing nothing, so at the last second, just before Ori could alter it, she recalled part of the flames by pulling them to her and drawing their Reiryoku inside of her. She did not get all of it, but she managed to acquire a good portion of it, which effectively reduced the amount of flame in the pillar and as a result, the amount of nightshade spores he had created. The absorbed Reiryoku was returned to her, returning maybe 5-7% of her overall Reiryoku, and then the flames were replaced with spores. She was not familiar with this substance, nor did she recognize what they were as she had no knowledge of such things, so she had no way of knowing what would happen to her if she inhaled it. However, she had already witnessed and suffered when Ori had submit her to a bubble of pure Carbon Monoxide, so she was already at the point where she wouldn't touch anything unfamiliar that he made, let alone breathe it in.

The back of her mind nagged her to tell him why that was a useless attempt, but common sense wouldn't allow it; it was essential to have the upper hand, so telling him anything would be foolish. "Are you quite finished, boy?" She asked in a less-than-thrilled tone while she mentally disposed of the spores by blowing them up into the Sekkiseki barrier with a gust of wind. There they wound be disintegrated, the most appropriate end for them as she wouldn't risk them being blown away by the natural wind and affecting someone else, whatever they were. At this point, Yuki appeared to become on the impatient side of angry; she was tired of Ori's little tests to see what she could do, and she did not want to extend this fight any longer than necessary. All they had been doing up until now was trading futile moves with each other, appearing to be on par for the time being, and this did nothing but exhaust their Reiryoku reserves. "This is going nowhere." She said matter-of-factly to Rei who had since, in the seconds past, poked her tiny head out of Yuki's cleavage and was eying Ori innocently through her beady eyes. Upon hearing Yuki speak this, the miniature kitsune scrambled out of its resting place and landed quietly on a condensed path of Reishi in the air at about waist level in relation to her mistress. Not even a second passed before the kitsune shape-shifted into her Shikai's tanto, which hung there in mid-air as though it were waiting to be snatched out of the air.

The presence of this tanto created a special barrier, one that rejected others during the moment Yuki chose to activate Bankai to prevent interference with this process. With the barrier in place, Yuki returned her left hand to her hip and a sudden, unexplainable sexual beauty began to radiate from her, the likes of which had not been seen before as she gave off a gentle aura most of the time, and had appeared fierce throughout this entire battle. Every move she made from this point on seemed tailored to seduce even the most chivalrous men, a result of Rei's sexual nature layering itself over Yuki's own personality. "Wicked hollow born of a lost soul in limbo; receive judgment from the garb of this holy maiden; be cleansed of worldly impurities, return to Heaven." Her words echoed with otherworldly sound as she spoke this chant, lifting her right hand to her head and spreading her fingers while flattening her palm. At this point, each of her fingernails twinkled with a red light in quick succession and suddenly became coated with red as if they had been painted on by some sort of invisible person. As she placed it near her right temple and stopped her fingers a few centimeters away from her skin, a halo comprised of water, wind, flame, and an electric current took form over her head. A second after it had fully formed, Yuki flashed a sexy smirked and flicked her hand downward, dropping it until her arm was fully extended and her fingertips were pointing towards the ground. This motion resulted in the elemental halo widening as it descended her frame and altered her clothing as it moved down to her feet, changing her Shihakushō and Haori into a vibrant-red dudou and a matching Cheongsam skirt which was the same color and appeared to be held together by two red, braided cords. As soon as the halo had reached her feet and changed her waraji to a pair of traditional Kung-Fu shoes, it promptly vanished into thin air, leaving Yuki standing there in her new attire. At this point, Yuki lifted her hand to breast level and then slowly curled all of her fingers to her palm to pull the tanto to her, which landed in her hand once more and removed the barrier.

"Bankai. Ōitsu Rei Nagare." With this statement, though spoken almost seductively, came the descending of her Reiatsu which had grown even stronger than it was in Shikai. Now it was a hindrance to all captains, regardless of their own pressure and a debilitating force to those who had even less. Even though it lasted only for several seconds, her Reiatsu spread across the Seireitei like a wave, its influence stretching for miles to affect both friend and foe alike. It did not stay active long enough to knock anyone out as she was not specifically focusing it on any one individual, but it was present long enough to cause so mild to serious psychological effects in everyone in the Seireitei, though results varied from person to person depending on will power. As her Reiatsu cascaded down from the heavens for those several seconds, her Reiryoku armor condensed and Shunkō's power spread across her body, the crimson-colored Reiryoku crackling and encompassing her with the activation of her Bankai's special ability. As she felt her Bankai's power flowing through her, Yuki looked to the side to see Aurelius standing on a nearby building, simply watching, as if he actually needed to. With full confidence that he was already probing her brain, she began thinking to him, throwing her mind's attention on her words so he'd pick up on them. "I assume you're here on Tsukiko's orders? Don't answer that, it's unnecessary. I'm sure you have every right to deny this request, but if you wish to be useful, please go make sure that Hei is no longer tied up by whomever he is fighting with. I'm sure you can take care of whoever it is in his place or something." While she thought this, Yuki lifted her left hand and bent her hand up at the wrist, then folded her ring and pinky fingers so that they were point back down the length of her arm, and then parted her pointer and middle fingers as a spark of dark Reiryoku erupted in her hands.

"The crest of turbidity, seeping out. An insolent vessel of madness. Boiling up, denying, numbness, blinking, obstructing slumber. The steel princess who creeps. The mud doll, ever disintegrating. Unite! Oppose! Filling the earth, know your own impotence!" While she spoke the incantation, the Kidō began to take form by imprisoning both of them in the over-sized black box of spiritual energy, creating a realistic scenario of her actually using the Kurohitsugi on Ori. However, this was little more than a distraction, an unintended one as well that was more like a perk of creating Sayō no Anya; scaring the piss out of your opponent with an extra-large Kurohitsugi, only to recall it seconds later; which is exactly what she did. After the Kido had completely formed and started to activate by using its heavy torrent of gravity to start warping space, Yuki instantly absorbed all of it's energy into her body, an act which coated her from head to toe in pitch-black shadow. Nothing went unchanged to black, and from that point on, black Reiryoku began to emanate from her body, creating an eerie, sinister feeling coming from her. "Shunkō Sentaibanyō: Sayō no Anya." This was all she said before she was gone. In an instant she traveled from her current location to right in front of Ori, confronting him as if she had no fear. Her arms hung calmly at her sides and she stared at him without flinching. While she had been in mid-step, she had already activated the secondary special property of Sayō no Anya and had used a mixture of Hanki and her Bankai's energy to induce a Reiryoku-based paralysis in her opponent. As soon as she arrived did she lift her hand, moving it towards his chest, utilizing Sayō no Anya's primary ability to negate the form he was using by hitting him with the same amount of Reiryoku he used to sustain the ability; just being close enough sufficed, direct contact was not necessary. Not even a second had passed before she suddenly pulled her other hand back and snapped it forward, aiming to bury her fist in the pit of his stomach. With Shunko active, she could easily blow a hole in his body when Sayō no Anya made him solid again. Just after this, she vanished solidly, leaving behind a mist of black Reiryoku and appeared just behind him, holding her hand out to stop him in his tracks during movement. As soon as she appeared once more, she unleashed a massive torrent of pitch black Reiryoku, on the scale of a Cero Oscuras, from the palm of her hand, aiming to blow everything from his shoulders and up off of the rest of his body. It felt somewhat strange using this ability so early; normally Sayō no Anya was her trump card, but from what she had gauged of Ori's powers her very own flame form, Keijō no Entei, would serve as a more suitable ace up her sleeve.

The winds will blow their own freshness into you,
And the storms their energy,
While cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

Shiruba Uingusu, 11th Division Lieutenant
シルバーウイング、第11部中尉

User ImageShiruba's surprise gripped him like a great claw of iron when she attempted to push him out of the way with her skills in Shunpo, however, his tight hand was still gripping his Shikai in its whip form, so he was able to keep his ground, pulling tighter on the rope so he could get better leverage on the ground...

Thankfully Shiruba's weapon didn't harm those he did not want to hurt, the body of the whip briefly phasing through her body when she first moved in his way and back out when she repositioned herself. If he couldn't control the power, she would've been burned badly and guilt would've cut into him like a blade...

"And you call me a baka?" Shiruba called out to her in annoyance, though he knew she couldn't hear him over the roaring blade of fire in her hands and he decided to do the best he could in this situation by giving the whip one, last, great tug to pull Kazuma into her attack, making it that much harder for him to avoid the well timed and insidious maneuver...

Knowing that his time for his whip mode was sorely done, he decided to let his Shikai spring forward, now propelling Shiruba into the air as the whip would uncoil from the neck of the Sephira and Shiruba would then hang in mid air high above the two combatants , looking down on Kazuma and Eriko as he then forced his hands together, bringing the two ends of the whip to fold into one, big ball and then moved his arms outward, causing the great ball to spread out into four corners, making a perpetual, equilateral square in the air as he called out, "Shitsuryō buranketto!"

Once the size fairly covered a good fifteen feet all around Kazuma and Eriko, who was now face to face with the Sephira, Shiruba then clapped both of his hands on the flat surface of the tile, directly in its center, his hands slapping the light material hard and the sheet glowed brighter with his presence and his new intent, as he then called out again, this time his voice filled with wrath, twisted with the intention of destruction, "Hyaku tsume no arashi!"

At his beckoning, the bottom of the square then began to pour a heavy rain of inch thick, six inch long nails that promised pain and misery for those unlucky enough to be still underneath the cover zone, the light energy making a solemn, vengeful oath to rip Kazuma apart, while Shiruba's mind made Eriko immune to the nails, so if any were to come in contact with her body at any moment or at any point of her form, the angelic nails would merely pass through her as if they were merely air currents, just as his whip had done once before...

He had only released a good wave of nails when the wave of Reiatsu energy hit him. It was wild, feral, spread out completely in a large area from a robust and unrefined display of energy that made Shiruba softly curse, having to focus himself further to keep the sudden wave from trapping his Reiryoku. Yuki never seemed to care just how dangerous her energy was at close ranges, but thankfully she was far enough away so that he was not seriously encumbered in those brief seconds that the wave of energy had come over him, allowing him to still proceed with his nail bombardment, but sweat now beaded freely from his brow from those intense moments of focus to hold his power together, "Dammit Yuki...control yourself...you're the Captain Commander for Christ's sake..." He knew she would be unable to even remotely hear him or detect his energy now that she had sent the cloak of energy spiraling all throughout Soul Society, but he needed to vent. Her act of brash influential power could easily tip the battles that were being waged to dangerous degrees, possibly causing some to become one-side, especially for those who were much weaker and were not able to resist such high levels of Reiatsu...

「人は...大切な何かを守りたいと思った時に本当に強くなれるものなんです」

While waiting for the spell to finish, Nu could feel the brief relaxing sensation of a Chiyudō, meaning Elisia was here, or at least somewhere close-by. Instead of turning to face her friend, she kept her eyes trained on the coffin like trap, in case for any problems or anomalies. She couldn't bear to face her friend right now. Not just due to the fact that Arian could use that little time to attack, but due to the memory of herself with the mask, yelling at the poor woman to stay away. She could feel most of her injuries being soothed and tended to thanks to her abilities and she mentally made a note to thank her once all this was over and to apologize for her previously rude behavior.

Though she wished it would, the spell could not last forever, and sooner then she wanted, the box dissapated, leaving a bloody Arian the only proof of its attack. Though he was standing and seemed unharmed, closer examination revealed that past the armor, he was hurt, and she just had to keep going, or else it will all be for naught. To show just how fine he was, Arian seemed to release a massive amount of spiritual pressure, reminding Nu that this was a Sephira that she was fighting. Both were tired and most likely running on reserve energy alone, their wills the only thing keeping them standing to face one another. She had to take the risk and strike now while his wounds were fresh and hers were healed, trying to keep it that way.

The basic facts were laid bare upon this battle. He was slower, but had inhumane endurance and stamina. She was faster, but the speed covered up her defenses that were exposed just as soon as she attacked. The odds against her, she decided to ignore proper steps and to simply attack the man, rushing him with her remaining vigor. While rushing, she couldn't help but feel Yuki's reiatsu rain, as though from the heavens itself. She could only do so much to brace herself, hoping this was affecting Arian as well. Though she made two clones to assist her, she had to think about this carefully, as she was beginning to regain her focus and concentrate. She was pulling out a repeat of her previous attack, so he would be better prepared, but the helpful part of this was that he would have a harder time blocker her attack once confronted with multiple targets. The last time she aimed for his back, which happened to be his most vulnerable spot. Hoping to whatever god there was, she decided to do a frontal assault this time, laying low in case of a counter as she aimed her metallic arm to his chin in a uppercut, the other two making rather overly exaggerative advances to his back.

[Bah, could be a hell of a lot better = 3=]

Kazuma

The light is gone,
but I'll make my own..
User Image

Sometimes the Sephira really had to experiment with his ablities more, so instances like this would be less likely to happen. As the whip began to wrap around the spirit's neck, it was clear to Kaz that fire isn't helping when battling a light aligned shinigami such as him. One minute everything was fine, the next moment he is flipped to the ground, watching in somewhat curiosity as he rushes him for the apparent finishing blow. Before he could manage it though, the spirit that was possessing Eriko's body stopped him, amazing Kaz once more in her duplication of his original attack. Once he realized that his options were limited due to the annoying rope around his neck, he made it top priority to sever the ties between his neck and the weapon, and slap away the oncoming blade that would have otherwise fried him, using his own fire attuned reiatsu to somewhat protect his ghostly hand from too much damage, raising himself to his feet as everything went down. Using a sonnido to avoid the heavenly nails was the easy part, as he simply moved himself to a safer location. What he found shocking was the sudden out-pore of Reiatsu, enough to Kazuma shudder, if only for the few seconds that it was felt. If it could hinder Kazuma, he would have to take advantage of its effects on those lower then the Commander of the Shinigami, namely this lieutenant and Captain.

While he was in this form, it was very hard for Kazuma to draw blood, annoying him somewhat, but sighing in a somewhat acceptance over it. As he pointed to Shiruba, the same dark feeling swept over the two, they could easily guess what cero he had in mind. All light was instantly covered in pitch darkness as he fired for Shiruba, as he wondered just how fast Cho was in order to save him.

Shiruba Uingusu, 11th Division Lieutenant
シルバーウイング、第11部中尉

User ImageShiruba couldn't hold the blanket of nails much too longer from under the strain the Reiatsu had put him under. He sighed somewhat when he saw the Sephira depart from Eriko and he had mere moments to react as the intense blast of dark energy that shot out from Kazuma's hand, barreled rapidly towards him...

Instead of shifting the plate's form, which would have taken much too long, Shiruba simply let it fall, allowing him to ride it safely down and out of the blast range just as it blazed angrily above him. This opponent was surprising him to no end at just how dangerous he was and just how much punishment he could take. He didn't know whether to applaud or to curse the Sephira, but he knew his father, if he were in Shiruba's shoes, would be highly honored to be facing someone such as him, and so Sephira felt the same honor, if not fatigue from Kazuma's relentless resistance...

When the plate touched the ground, he decided that it was best to go onto the defense once more, at least until his Reiryoku re-stabilized itself from the intense wave of energy that pulsed through the city, and spoke to his partner beneath, calling the solid, square panel to become more fluid, turning it more into the likeness of a blanket thats wrapped itself around him, briefly encumbering him as his solemn words were heard from within the light, "Saisho no sutēji no bōei, dai ni bōgu no reiya."

The light then became more material, separating and releasing itself like liquid to reveal a second layer of Samurai armor on top of his original armor, plus he was now wearing the traditional helm, its make and style mimicking his father's helmet that he once wore when he himself was a high-ranked soldier. To finish he then merely spoke, "Zanpakuto..." and his original Shikai weapon materialized within his grasp, completing the ensemble of Light equipment, causing Shiruba to become a bright beacon of white energy as he took a pose, waiting for what the Sephira would do...

Tetsunosuke Harasawa

Sixth Division's Captain

User Image

Tetsunosuke was still floating backwards as Jacques' Steel Trap was released, he felt the wind from their quick release as he was moving. His now visible Zanpakuto was being held the same as he had it to shift back into a Scythe. "Arrancar, why do you relent?" Tetsunosuke spoke to him. The Vizard looked over the Arrancar as he noticed the healing cracks in his shell; Tetsu thought that the fight with the Arrancar would have been harder like his first fight with the crazed woman. His feet would land on solid ground about thirteen feet away from Jacques. He was positioned to move again if it was required, and both of his hands were holding on tightly to the scythe. Tetsu was slightly hunkered down, preparing his next assault.

His Azure Blue reiatsu began to be released, it would slowly start to be intertwined with different colors until it became a darker purple color. Purple, because the inner hollow's reiatsu was red and his was blue, but the combination made a dark purple instead of a normal shade. With a freed left hand, he moved it over his nasal slowly, and then out in front of his orbitals. Slowly, from a distance, one could see the white's of his eyes become black; he set his exposed digital phalanges part of his middle and thumb digits on his temples. He sweep his fingers across his face until the bones of his fingers connected and caused a black-purple reishi to form his Vizard mask. The feeling of his reiatsu would increase as would his strength and speed, but those would go unnoticed. His cloak billowed from his visible spiritual pressure as he rose off the ground. The ornate Hollow mask that he now dawned was not of his choosing. The unsymmetrical features of this mask would drive any OCD person up a wall. On the left were three spikes protruding outward, while three were retreating toward the opposite side. The chin of the mask bore almost a whisker like feature with two of them sticking out. His iris color had changed to a purple color as well with black whites. "Rokubantai Taicho, Harasawa Tetsunosuke." His spoke his name and title with an unnatural voice; sounding as if two people were talking at once. As the last syllable was expelled from his masked mouth, Tetsu performed a Gemelos Sonído, creating a clone afterimage; something the Arrancar should be aware of when he saw it. Like a helicopter blade, Tetsunosuke scythe was being twirled a brief second over his head as it brought it down in a perfect straight line on Jacques' shell. He knew that the Arrancar's shell wouldn't be able to be broken by this attack; honestly, he was checking to see how strong it was. From, each side of the Arrancar, four spikes were made from the dirt underneath the tiles, which shot out above the shell in an orderly fashion that made their way around his quells. Two more would appear, blunt ones that would be stretched out in front of Jacques and one behind him.

Tetsunosuke had retreated by a few steps, but not to far; he had stretched his hand out preparing himself, "Bakudō #63: Sajō Sabaku." He started off with a Bakudō that would wrap and intertwine itself around the spikes and Jacques' quells; which he followed up with an incantation, "The crest of a thousands hands, hands of madness, being able to touch the darkness, but not one with darkness. The princess that basks in light, the mud doll that ignited the embers, union that gathers when both are together. There is no need to oppose the book of heaven, which cleanses the earth with bright fire; know your place! Heavenly Coffin!!" Tetsunosuke shouted the incantation; Jacques would be surrounded by a bright light that took the shape of a coffin, it would lacerate him, hopefully doing some damage to his shell. Next after lacerating, it would generate several spears of light -just outside of the coffin- that would skewer the coffin, then it would explode which would be contained inside of the it at first; but the strength of the explosion would rip through and cause the force of the blast to travel up to the sky. The attack was made up on the spot by joining two high level Kidōs, Kurohitsugi and Senjū Kōten Taihō; both level 90 and both devastatingly strong in their own right. But it was a long shot for him to attempt since when he struck Jacques' shell, he predicted that Jacques must have one of the strongest defensed he'd ever encountered. Tetsunosuke hadn't been far from the explosion, he had moved via a Flash Step about 10 yards away and could still feel an almost unbearable heat.

((Not trying to kill your RPC with this attack Veer, I just want to do something flashy, and make Jacques ticked off... I hope you don't let him get pwned by it. ))

"Truth is simply a conception..."

Waiting patiently to see the outcome of his attack, Hideki stood in a slightly hunched position, much like that of a werewolf or other bestial-man creature. Hideki's arms were slightly extended out to the side, ready for anything that may require him to move. He kept his mental focus on where he last left Zenos in the smoke that was produced via his Kidō. His icy blue eyes slid over under his mask to view Hibiki. Hideki could feel the awkward cooperation that Hibiki was giving out. He knew the response he would receive upon using this form in front of the man, but Hideki was pleased to find cooperation, if only due to necessity, rather than a bickering. Hideki's primal self heard a crack within the smoke, and that alone was enough to cause him to twitch as though he were to dodge something. Be it nerves of necessity, he was alert as a rabbit in the plains. As ready as he was, however, he was not expecting the metallic bands that Zenos procured in the veil of cover.

Breaking his train of thought, the bands of steel shrank from their barrier around him, and conformed to his body, seizing it in place. The steel would be easy pickings with his mask on, so Hideki was barely worried at all, but he did not want to break out immediately. However, through the smoke and rustle, Hideki heard yet another pop, but this was different from the first one. Nothing like a body part or limb, it sounded earthen. Not knowing what to expect, Hideki figured that getting away from the area would be key, and with so much smoke, a much needed advantage. Getting out of this cage was first. Tensing his upper body before pulling towards his center and then shoving out, the movement towards the center creating a small amount of space between he and the metal, dented the steel enough for him to do the same motion again, and break free from the prison. He was doing this mainly with his left side, as Hibiki had been pushed into Hideki from where he was standing, and where they were positioned, Hideki was on the left, thus if he did the motions with the right, he risked harming Hibiki. Once the steel was off on his end, however, Hibiki could leave the contraption anyhow.

As Hideki touched the the ground, he felt it rumble beneath him and it soon split. Gas blew up into his face, luckily for him his mask was there, and he retreated back a few steps onto to find that there was a rising volcano right in front of him, as well as swells of gas filling the air. Running of Epinephrine, Hideki shoved his foot into the ground and shot out above the gaseous cloud. Holding his arms out to the sides, Tenchi and Joukai materialized. Grasping them, he began to spin them around within his hands, round and round, all while finishing up his incantation. The only thing to be heard, and this was limited to being extremely close to him, was,"Hadō no Gōjuhachi: Tenran." Upon speaking the Hadō, The torrents of wind flew from the spinning blades and into the smoke and gas below. It began a vacuum effect and spread the gases all around, cooling the lava and creating a suitable atmosphere, if only for a few minutes.

Executing a high level shunpo, going around 600mph, Hideki would appear above Zenos, and upside down. Throwing his right leg down solidly towards Zenos' left shoulder, Hideki would use this point of contact to twist towards that same direction, bring his left leg sweeping for Zenos' legs to bring him off the ground. As this happened, Hideki would use his left leg, once past both of Zenos' legs, as a point to stop, his toes gripping hard on the ground, before pulling his still placed right leg and shoving it into Zenos' body to kick him back. Hideki had a great amount of physical power in this form, and was confident if these hit, there would be some nice damage done, but to finish it off, Hideki would push off with his left foot and follow Zenos back, moving to just above him in a curled position. His feet positioned towards Zenos, Hideki shoved the down, aiming to slam, the hopefully airborne Zenos, into the ground, causing even more harm.

[For a reference to what Hideki did, or would do, click here: [HERE] and go to the time 4:55. That should be about where it is. I worded it so they were all just insight into what would happen after the first, initial kick were to hit. If its counter then or after then or before, then by all means omit the rest.]

Jacques smiled at his comment, "Maybe I am going a little soft.." Although within his shell, he knew when Tetsu had pulled that mask upon himself. The attack from his scythe would cracks the few spines at the top as it had hit, but not the sum of the others that lay within. The shell itself was part of Jacques; so in turn, the shell was both a protection, and a second layer that one had to punch through just to try and punch through the Hierro on his own body. The shell was both his greatest offense, and one of the reasons he can survive many attacks.

Jacques did not like the thought of what was to come when the white chain -- as it was unable to reach in to his shell -- would wrap around his shell. He tried to expand his shell, but the spines began to break under the pressure, so he compacted the shell down and allowed the spines to harden. The joined attacks were still devastating to his shell. The blades stabbed in to the shell, and so he moved his strongest protection area to his head from his chest; relocated the bottom legs and foot area protection to his chest. The explosion blew away all but most of the very inner layer of his shell armor. He moved forward in his shell, the spines not even attempting to reform. Jacques' shell falls apart as he enters of outer ring of the explosion.

His shell cracks and falls apart. The Sephira stares at Tetsu, lacerations can be seen over his body where the attack had entered him, but he seemed to be still able to withstand most of the impact from the spears. Jacques' face mask slides back, "That mask.. it means you've gone through a hollofication process, right? That's amazing.. I shall remember to write this in my book.. Or, if I may not, tell Neida to take the book and write it for me, as my last words.." His mask forms back down and the broken spine of his Λεπίδα βραχιόνων falls off and forms another. His armor seemed to be getting worse; he didn't know how much more of these high level attacks he was going to take. It seemed like all the Kidō's that were aimed at him seemed to be coming at high levels.

"Shi-... no. Vizard. You asked "Why do you relent?", and I did not answer, as I was preoccupied. I don't know why I have less enthusiasm than before. Maybe it is from killing that girl. Or, if in the way I look at it... maybe it is because of what Sephirot I am. I am the Yesod, on the Chabolah Chart, the Tree of Life, that is above the Malchut. The Malchut is that of the Earth, I am the Ether, that between the King and the Earth. I am closest to the Earth, making me the balancer of our pillars, and the closest to those of the Kingdom of the Earth.. Maybe I have lost hope, as humans do in these situations when they know their life is soon gone if they miss but one step. But.. I promised someone I wouldn't get hurt. She wants me to survive, so I must survive; 'less I be called a coward for breaking a promise to that woman. Captain Harasawa, if I heard right, if my armor fails, I will forget all restrictions of my body. If my sword fails, I will use my bare hands. If my hands fail, I shall use my legs. When my legs fail, I will bite and gnaw at you.. only when I have no way to fight you, will I ever be willing to die by you," he takes a stance, slamming his foot back. The wounds over him seemed to not bother him at all, but Jacques did feel the pain. He begins to move forward; each step, every movement, one of his wounds radiated the feeling. "If you kill me, do not hesitate to kill me quickly; that is only what I ask of you, hollow Shinigami," Jacques shot off towards Tetsu at a pretty good speed for his speed. He jumps forward at about seven yards, and brings his arm back to slam down upon the Vizard. At about five feet, a dark green light flashed at the front of fist. The Cero would fire off at impact upon the Vizard or the ground, causing no real physical damage to himself, but possibly weakening the Vizard in some way if it managed to not be blocked.

Hibiki Kirisho
- Squad Nine Captain -

Struggling to get a view of Zenos amidst the cloud of dust, Hibiki found it to be near impossible and thus simply waited for it to clear, though he feared that their opponent would most likely have attacked them by that time as he’d probably use to cover of the dust cloud to conceal his movements. But there was nothing he could do, however, his mind went on high alert when he noticed Hideki twitch. Removing his vision from Hideki to better focus on the situation at hand, Hibiki guessed that the Captain-- in his Vizard state-- probably possessed enhanced hearing, which allowed him to detect their opponent’s movements. Ready to Shunpo out of harm’s way, Hibiki was unable to react in time to avoid the binds Zenos had created. His mind panicked a bit, knowing their bound state would be a death sentence against Zenos who seemed to be able to manipulate metals to an infinite degree.

However, he snapped out of this when he felt Hideki struggle against the metal and beyond belief broke free of them, setting both of them free. Recalling his Tengu and disappearing out of the area via Shunpo, Hibiki’s eyes widened as a literal volcano began to form from the ground ”Impossible.” he muttered under breath ”Who the hell is this guy, the b*****d son of Hephaestus and Dracula?” he jested to himself, most likely in an unconscious attempt to calm himself down. Summoning a single instance of Fujin, Hibiki was able to blow away the dangerous fumes that spewed forth from the fissure. Knowing full well that lave wound soon erupt, Hibiki began chanting the incantation for a Bakudo spell, in an attempt to block the lava, while he used a Hado spell to blast several holes in the ground that would relieve the volcano of its pressure. But he soon found this to be unnecessary as Hideki effortlessly stopped the volcanic threat by cooling it down using a combination of his zanpakuto and Kido, something that impressed Hibiki, while at the same time made him feel relatively useless since Hideki seemed to do all the fighting. When he realized this he gave himself a mental slap, Hibiki scolded himself for thinking in such a manner. As long as the opponent is defeated, it mattered not who gets the glory. Finding it difficult to keep up with Hideki’s movements, Hibiki managed to track him down as he began to assault Zenos. Knowing a Fujin or Tengu strike carried the risk of causing friendly fire; Hibiki opted for a more precise attack and switched the entirety of his Bankai into its Kizashi mode, creating hundreds of blade fragments.

As soon as Hideki began to strike Zenos, the Sephira would himself continuously assaulted by a storm of blade fragments as Hibiki set the Kizashi into their Kakusu mode, fired a few of them using Tsukamu while at the same time using Su to place several fragments in the air surrounding Zenos, invisible and ready to strike. Hibiki continued this complex process for the duration of Hideki’s attack, aiming half of the fragments at the area where Hideki would strike Zenos and half of them in the Sephira’s blind spots during the attack. Because the projectiles moved faster, they would be able to strike Zenos first before Hideki, causing a weakening in the Hierro and making his attacks much more powerful. But, this was only in theory as Hideki’s movements proved to be too fast for Hibiki to keep up perfectly, thus he managed to perform this only a couple of times before his eyes began to strain. When Hideki moved in for the finish, Hibiki realized he still has a few blade fragments left, thus he manipulated them into the area below Zenos and caused them to erupt into a powerful Fujin tornado that would meet Zenos as he descended into the ground for a potentially spine-breaking strike aimed towards his back that would knock him down for the count if it struck.

Malchut Sephira - Being of Lowliness
Αναζοωγόνηση: δεύτερο βήμα
[Resurrección: Segunda Etapa]

"Brats..." As he exhaled a sigh dripping with annoyance, Zenos scratched the back of his head, ruffling his silver-colored locks as he watched Hideki approach him. Vizard mask or no Vizard mask, Hideki's speed was still not on par with his own foot speed - let alone his reaction speed -, and even though his eyes were not fully trained to follow extremely fast movements, he was still capable of locating objects in motion with his other senses, namely hearing and smell. Hideki's scent did little for him at the moment, however, given the speed at which he was moving at was directing his own scent away from him for the most part. His sense of hearing was still sufficient in this case, so he was able to locate Hideki as he moved, and aptly deduce where he was going to be. Not that it mattered, as it was fairly obvious where he was going to be anyway. As Hideki appeared before him in an upside-down manner, Zenos met the sight of his lower body with an unconcerned stare; his reactions were to the point that he could have stopped his attacks with his bare hands, albeit after some effort since Hideki's physical strength was a notch below his own. However, since his entire body was fortified with Titanium, it was a better strategy to allow Hideki to break his own bones for him. With this decision in mind, Zenos did not resist his strikes, instead allowing each of them to land until Zenos was on his back in mid-air, waiting for Hideki's next move, which came in the form of a double-footed stomp. He finally retaliated, catching both of his feet just before they struck his body, and then slowly opened his eyes as he looked up at his opponent. "Your bones... how many of them did you break?..." He said quizzically, tilting his head to the side ever so slightly while he held him there in place.

It was at this point that he took notice of the invisible blade fragments floating around him, which had been cutting at his body while Hideki had been attacking. They had gone unnoticed for the time being since Zenos was preoccupied by Hideki, and had long since deemed Hibiki as less of a threat, given his persistence in using the same types of things over and over again. Unknown to the Sephira was that they had the ability to weaken Hierro; unfortunately for Hibiki, however, was that Piel Titanium was not Hierro, but instead a body fortification extension of Ferrokinesis, making his body solid Titanium and not Hierro with a density the equivalent of Titanium itself. Thus, the constant attack had done nothing more than continually strike at him without scratching his body. After having caught Hideki in this position, he took notice of the approaching tornado to his backside, which only further cemented his thoughts that Hibiki was an idiot. Without concerning himself with the attack, he rode the force as it struck him, allowing it to toss him and Hideki up into the air until he was able to right himself before he released Hideki's feet. "I grow tired of this..." As Zenos glanced down towards his jacket so that he may open it, he moved a fair quantity of sand towards Hideki just after he was released, shaping it into a single large tendril that grabbed for his left arm so he couldn't simply run away. In the mean time, Zenos has used a Tierra Cero on Hibiki, and after channeling the silver Reiryoku into the ground and flicking the pointer finger of his free hand up, he released the potent Cero from beneath the Captain's feet. While he did so, he opened up his jacket to retrieve his Zanpakutō, which he pulled from its sheath before flipping it over in his fingers and dropping it to the ground below.

"Αναζοωγόνηση: δεύτερο βήμα." He said plainly as the dagger struck the ground and embedded it's blade in what was left of the alley below. The instant it struck the ground, the ground turned to stone in a rapidly growing circle around the dagger itself, only stopping until the circle was quite large. Although this process was interesting, it was nothing compared to Zenos' transition into his Segunda Etapa form. Suddenly the Sephira shrunk in size, going from 20 years old in appearance to something like 10 years old and making him 4'10" in height as he used Segunda Etapa. His hollow hole opened up by about an inch, his nails lengthened and gained a metallic lustre as his canine lengthened. After this, the only thing left was for a symbol to stretch across his back, though obscured by his clothes, and for his eyes to shift from red to golden. Almost instantly after the transformation had taken place, hundreds of metal strands suddenly appeared out of thin air, twisting themselves together into helixes as they made dozens of steel cables which after they were fully formed, whipped out to snare Hideki out of mid-air, providing even more binding power. Once he was certain that the Vizard was caught in his trap, Zenos demurely lifted a finger as black Reiryoku began to gather at its tip, making the beginning of a Cero Oscuras. "You were once Hei's Lieutenant, yes?" While the Cero Oscuras took form, Zenos moved his finger tip and put it to Hideki's chest, directly over his heart. "What would he do if you were to die, I wonder..." At this point, he paused as his finger lingered above the Vizard's heart while he appeared to consider something. Then, as if he was showing mercy, he moved his finger to the left, pressing his nail against the Captain's clothing several inches to the left of his heart. "Cero Oscuras." His eerily calm words were nearly drowned out by the overwhelming sound produced by this vastly potent Cero Oscuras, one that he fired from point-blank range in order to blow Hideki's shoulder and right lung clear off his body. It remained unclear, at this point, why he decided against killing him outright, and instead opting to mortally wound him. Regardless of the reason, as soon as the Cero left his finger, Hideki's binds were loosened, the helix-shaped cables drawing themselves away from his body at Zenos' command.

...and thus the world is petrified.

Hmph. Comical. To go through such a haughty transformation is slightly disappointing.Tis is nothing though, especially since she has finally done it. She has activated bankai. At least that is all I can assume this display is. Ori stood silently as Yuki moved in her 'magical' transformation. Her erotic movements phased him little due to his, more or less, null draw towards one of the opposite sex. Once she was done, Ori rolled his eyes, going unforeseen due to his lack of and iris or pupil in his eye. With this end, Ori was given the confirmation that she had, indeed, gone into bankai. He was glad that Yuki had finally began to take things seriously, or was at least bent on ending the battle.

As she looked towards the blind haired boy, Ori began to tap his right index finger against his thigh. His fuse of patience was growing low and her elongated stare towards the boy made him all the more suspicious to the planning something. Him not knowing their relationship made this even harder to peg, so he left it up to time to tell. He nonetheless kept an eye on him. Just before she moved her hand to attack, Ori's fuse had gone down and he shot out two large fire balls into the air, one to the left and one to the right. As one would have it, the one on the right made it just past her techniques wall of black reiatsu and simply began to float about a foot away from it. Ori stood motionless as they were surrounded by the box. He was confident that she was not going to activate this dangerous Hado, of which he had within his records and knew about, with both of them with in it. Unless she could manipulate this as well, Ori was sure that she had other plans with it. This proved true when she absorbed the Kido into her body, causing her to take a black form. Much like a 3D shadow.

Ori was more or less intrigued that she could rig her body with an element or power, as he could. He took a moment to think if he could possible empower the same kido into his body, but stopped shortly there after, as it would require it to be made once again. Ori also thought if he could absorb some of it through her own seeping reiatsu, and the thought made him want to try it, but he refrained from the joy. Her moving to him in an extremely swift fashion caused him to be frozen for some time. Her appearance before him made a small smirk slide across his facade that was lacking anything but a blank stare. The small fireball that was floating off to the right of them came into play. He had opted to use two of them to attack her as a counter, but one was enough to evade this all together.

Using the orb as a focal point, Ori transfered his body over to the fireball in atomic particles, leaving a clone behind in his stead. The clone would take the brunt of all the attacks but flicker away in small flares when Yuki would move to his back side to stop his push back. The flaming ball would then stretch out into Ori's body shape before his eyes, mouth, and ears would form. Staring down Yuki, Ori lifted his hand up to her and smirked. His body began to arc with electricity as his flames began to 'shed' off of him into the air above as if they were embers. Within seconds his body was glowing a bright blue, with arcing lightning hopping around randomly. He would have no facial features and his entire form would be that of light. Moving his lips to Furtună, being that he had no vocal box to think of. Ori then shot forth towards Yuki, causing a crack as his speed broke the sound barrier and appeared to the side of Yuki as she was finishing her beam up, his hands shoved forward. From his hands a large flurry of 30,000 °C lightning bolts would be unleashed upon her body. If the heat didnt do any thing then the piercing capability would, or vice versa, unless of course she had a way to beat something that moved at incredible speeds.

[Vague, I know. Shoot me. I had a better post planned, but that failed last night, and I didn't want to try to recreate it. So just enjoy.]

Tetsunosuke Harasawa

Sixth Division's Captain

User Image

As the devastating attack began to exert itself and came to a close he could see the Arrancar's exit. Jacques shell fell off of him like charred clothing with each step, his stare was set on Tetsunosuke. His mask would slide back, and for the first time his face would be reveled to him. His words would come as a slight shook, Tetsu was intrigued by the book he kept. "Hmhp... I have indeed. And after some thought, I've come to enjoy it." A smirk would arise to his shrouded face as he finished the statement. "So, you must be Jacques Jonghelinck. I think I have met this Neida, and I made promise to her that I wouldn't kill you unless it was to prevent someone from dying." Tetsu remembered what happened to Suzume and began another reply. "So that brings me to a conundrum. Killing only brings more killing, revenge only brings greater revenge. Even as Shinigami and Hollow, it seems we're still bound to this... law." Tetsunosuke sensed Jacques regrowth of protection. He kept his focused on the Arrancar as he began to talk again. "Perhaps when a Hollow becomes an Arrancar, they find a shred of their heart. For you are someone who shows remorse for something they've done. When I was Shinigami, I was trained and ordered to purify Hollow's souls. But as a Vizard, I believe I can understand what possess a hollow to act as they do. They're lost... and without proper guidance, they go down a road that lead to further solitude. I believe I am heading down this road. And inside of me, it feels right." Tetsunosuke said with his dual-voice. Jacques strong demeanor was admirable, he look at him through different eyes, and carried some respect with his gaze. "Don't talk like the battle has already been set! Fight me with everything in you!" Tetsu shouted, and let out a Hollow howl.

He had exhausted a lot of Reiryoku through his attack, and he was feeling more fatigued than normal. But it wouldn't stop him from fighting with his full intent to win the bout. He didn't want to kill Jacques, but he did not want to dishonor that Arrancar. As Jacques shot toward him, Tetsu moved to meet him, the Arrancar would make a quick leap and charge an orb of Reiryoku. Tetsunosuke did the same, and charged a Cero at the tip of his scythe, he swung it to meet Jacques' fist. His Cero was untrained, and weaker for sure as Jacques' tore through it, and fell down on him with about eighty percent of it's strength still intake. With the blast successfully landing on his mask and then his chest, Tetsunosuke had be pushed back several feet; first his feet were forced to the ground, but the force would cause them to buckle, causing him to hit his back on the ground and bounce backward. He was able to do a back flip after regaining some control and land on his right foot, left foot, and then with his left hand grasping the ground. A small part of the right side of his mask had been torn. A tinge of pain could be seen in his eyes, but his Bankai would help restrict the feeling as he stood back up on two feet and readied his scythe; a moment after that he would levitate of the ground.

Tetsunosuke made a dash forward in his levitated state; his cloak hadn't been too damaged and was still functioning. Quickly closing the gap between them again at a speed of about 100mhp, he slowed a few feet from and landed solidly on the ground with his feet making a loud noise. He let out an attack scream, and ran toward Jacques with the rest of his momentum; he lifted his scythe upward creating a slice that would cleave from the groins up. His attack would have caused him to jump off the ground some, and as his scythe would travel upward, he moved his hands with swift movement and was having the reverse, lower end of his scythe go for another strike similar to the last but higher up. Moving the scythe now with his right, he brought it back down with a swift slash that would travel diagonally in front of him, aiming to land another strike on Jacques. Tetsunosuke would more than likely land on the ground with the next attack, unless Jacques used an attack that would forcibly push Tetsu away. In his current state, Tetsunosuke would not have a chance to create Reishi under his feet to perform an in-air Flash Step. But Tetsu knew this, and he was ready for a retort of attacks; readily preparing a defensive move.

Neida looked to be plotting something while she let herself catch her breath. The straining Kidō that Lee had used on her was slightly unexpected. From what she had measured from him by outward appearance, he seemed feeble. But her memory brought to her attention that saying, "don't judge a book by it's cover" she shook this thought as she readied herself for the next string of attacks he was preparing.

As Lee pointed his finger in the sky, she moved her feet apart and used Pesquisa Diligente, instantly feeling the reishi of the attack behind her, and than the water that was erupting from the ground, she launched off the ground without a second to spare as the water just missed the soles of her feet. She moved her sight toward Lee, who pointed his hand at her again; from her bust she charged a Cero that would be royal blue in color and would impact against the Byakurai as she launched it just in the nick of time. The attacks would more than likely cancel each other out. She disconnected her Reiryoku flow to the blast as she moved with a side dash via Air Walk. She extended her hand as she fired off a volley of normal Bala; each on would be trailed on his head. With the Captain's skill, he could just swat them away with his sword. As she fired her last Bala, she performed a Gemelos Sonído to close the gap between them. Reappearing about five feet above him, her body was contorted, almost like she was coming out of a flip, she came down on Lee with a strong kick to his skull. If she missed, she wouldn't allow her foot to crash into the ground, but would land gracefully and come at him with a right jab aimed for his cheek. Her jab would come from a slightly crouched position as she hand landed and was quickly following up with attacks. As she brought her jab back from a successful or unsuccessful hit, she would be bringing her knee to the left side of his chest; in conjunction of her pushing off the ground with her entire leg. Each force she brought into her strikes were able to pierce through Lee's Reiatsu armor and then some.

With her close range, she had quickly deduced that a continuation of her reiryoku attack would be a nice combo. Neida was instantly surrounded in an orb of Reiryoku and fired off her Insano Bala technique; with this, she was able to fire off about ten bala's at the same time to the front of her, and she used her Pesquisa Diligente to sense where the target, so it was almost like a shotgun blast. She fired off about three volleys of this attack, seeing as it may have left her at a disadvantage. Finally, she would lift her hand and find Lee with her Pesquisa Diligente and fire off a Gran Rey Cero.
