Character Name: Dawn DaLumos ((Botein, Super Senshi of Amulets))Location: Main Stage Vicinity Dawn drifted around the area, mostly just enjoying all the costumes and the vibe of the whole event. It was very gorgeous and everyone there was dressed impeccably. However, it didn't take the young woman long before she no longer enjoyed her drink. Yes it was nice and light, but as the drink rapidly warmed in her grasp it lost that little spark that made it so tasty. At least as far as Dawn was concerned. So now she had a task, get rid of her glass and likely get some water. But she didn't want to just abandon her glass on a random surface, that would be rude. Her gaze tried to spot any of the workers that were in the venue, they could at least direct her towards the bar... She was sure there was one. Dawn just couldn't see all that well. Being so short did make it much harder to find anyone, or thing, in large crowds that's for sure. Quote: Open for interaction.... if someone wants to offer to get her another drink ^_^'

Character Name: Kaðlín EinarsdottírLocation: Main Stage Vicinity "Kaðlín," she responded in kind, "but I'll answer to anything close to it."
She paused, looking down at herself for how the dress wore on her. It looked like it belonged, mostly, but she was smaller in the chest than the original owner. "Thanks. It was my best friend's. I think she'd like to hear that other people like her taste."
Between the two, Eileen was much more fond of dressing up for any occasions. She was much more personable, too, Kaðlín was realizing, given how she was at a loss for what to say next. Most of her interactions with everyday folk were a quick greeting and recommending a substitution for eggs or pointing someone toward the barbecues. The rest of her conversations — the real ones — had been so focused on what went on beyond Destiny City's ken that she hadn't even considered it until now.
Halia mentioned wanting to look around, when Kaðlín thought was a wise choice. "I don't want to keep you, then. It was nice meeting you both." She waved with her free hand, then turned back toward the staging area with the untouched champagne flute still clutched in her left.
Eileen would've shone here, she knew. She would've dressed Kaðlín up, done her hair, and taken her all about, from group to group, always knowing precisely what to say. But those days were gone for good, weren't they? She had only half-remembered examples to follow now.
There was much more to the Gilded Encore than this. Perhaps, as the hours wore on, the celebrants will have drunk enough to loosen their lips for business. Even if it seemed farfetched, she thought it worth trying. She made for the other side of the main stage.

Character Name: Eion Risk (Faustite)Location: Lobby > Main Stage Vicinity Now that he was in Eion needed a drink. He had paid enough attention to the op to be aware that the lights at the base of each glass had been what drained energy from its unsuspecting patrons, and that the pins protected his fellow agents from an accidental draining, but that was where his attention had remained. The more mundane business — how one was to properly order drinks from the bar — went entirely unnoticed by the incognito fiery boy. Thus, when he made his beeline to the bar and ordered a glass of a local merlot, he was politely rebuffed by the bartender who instructed him about requiring a stamp.
And just as Eion nodded along, he made a show of searching for his wallet. In truth, Eion never bothered taking it anywhere. Most of the time, he had little idea where he last left it, expect for that he'd left it somewhere in his home. And after checking nearly a dozen jacket pockets, he huffed his disappointment, and penned a small appeal asking the bartender to make an exception.
But evidently even the Negaverse still had room for upstanding gentlemen, as the scruffy older fellow simply shook his head while he set to work with a ********>, Eion mouthed, disappointed.
He wouldn't let such a setback foil his evening, however. Eion departed the bar as quickly as he joined it, segueing through a couple dozen well-dressed individuals holding drinks like clusters of stars. It was here where the majority of seating lay, and where most of the patrons were dining or discussing. While there wasn't much opportunity at first glance, Eion took advantage of his narrow stature to slide between standing-room throngs until he was among the tables proper. Busboys and servers made quick work of most empty tables, carrying away the guests' leavings, but Eion was lucky enough to spot an unattended table for two that sported a handful of chicken bones on a plate and a half-drunk glass of red wine.
Far be it for Eion to guess what type of wine it was, or bother to smell it for its palatability before poaching it from the unattended table and downing it as readily as a bottle of water in the middle of a desert.

Character Name: Halia Westfein / Sailor ArunaLocation: Main stage "Oh, you aren't-... Halia frowned as the girl left, feeling bad. She glanced at Rowan, brows drawn together. "I hope she's okay. She seemed... down." She looked back towards where the girl had walked off, hoping she was alright. "Maybe we should make a point to check on her later?"Halia chewed her lip, ruining the bit of lipstick that had been on it. She couldn't help but worry, especially with how her emotions were lately. However, she wanted her friend to have a good time, so she put a smile on her face and turned back to Rowan. "Maybe we should look around too? Check the venue out?" She moved to walk around, eyes landing on a boy downing a glass of wine like a dehydrated cactus finding water for the first time in years. Her cheeks colored ever so slightly, though with how pale she was, it was quite visible. He was... unfairly pretty, in an almost haunted, hot mess sort of way. "Oh..." It was the first time her friend would ever see her be so thoroughly distracted by another person, and Halia didn't seem to even be aware enough to care or feel embarrassed for once. She glanced at Rowan with a nervous smile before speaking. "You... wanted me to be more bold, right? Try to... not be so anxious?" She didn't wait for a response before walking over, smiling shyly. "Hi..." So as far as first words to someone went, she knew that was lame. But her mind went blank when she finally got over to him, leaving her with the two letter word and nothing else.

Character Name: Liam BlackwoodLocation: Lobby with Melldy and others. Looking from Sakura to Melody, hoping his fiances team member understood the tension between the siblings. He knew she'd been told, in a rather round about manner, so she wouldn't misstep around Melody when she undoubtably ran into the younger Sharp. It seemed he needn't worry though, as Sakura was introducing herself to Melody, and Liam couldn't help but smile at this.
"You shouldn't be surprised to see me here Sakura, I'm here to support my family." Because the two Sharp were as good as his family, he only had a brith father after all, these two had taken him in though and given him a family and a home...and so much more. It also helped that he was Melody's accountant.
"No worry Melody, I'm not going to distract him from things, tonight is yours and his night. If he comes out I'll see him but if not I'll see him at the end of the night." Shrugging a bit, not at all bothered by not seeing his partner for a while, he was planning to stay till closing in order to go home with Aloysius. He was proud of the man with all the work he and his sister had put into this, he just wanted to be here for support especially for Aloysius...just incase it was needed. He trusted him, and knew he was strong, but sometimes stress and temptation being nearby could mess with a person. He was here to support both Sharps in every way he could tonight. "Don't tell me you have him cooking or baking Mel, if you do I need a picture." Or several. Smiling wide, chuckling even, he liked the idea of his partner cooking and baking behind the scenes. Sadly Liam doubted his partner was doing either thing...though it would be nice to see if he was.
Smiling at his soon to be sister in law Liam leaned in close, so she could hear him. "How about tomorrow night, if you and Aloysius aren't busy running things here, we go out for dinner to celebrate a good grand opening?" Like they had celebrated his graduation from uni, he still got a bit misty eyed thinking about that. Even though he'd been told abotu the dinner it still hit him as hard as it would have had it been a surprise dinner celebration. Now though was time to celebrate the other two, those who had done so much for him and were doing so much tonight. The two of them working together was, in his opinion, huge progress...he just wasn't going to say that or say that's what he really wanted to celebrate.
Taking a moment to glance about, strightening himself, Liam figured he should move on soon, not keep Melody too preoccupied and away from her job for tonight. But he really weas thrilled about this whole thing, and it was not easy to contain his joy over it all, this was just so amazing for him.

Character Name: Alexandre Evans (General Benitoite)Location: At the bar, leaving and heading back towards the main stage. Dice roll: 8,8 Looking from Rene to Abbey, he was glad to see her the blond shook his head slowly. "Tonight we are helping the Sharp's and if it means serving we are to serve. Just think of it as a chance to spy on others...some of high society is here you know." As if many of them would miss such an event as this, the opening of a lounge like this and by the Sharps no less - no, high society was here. You just needed to know who they were and to look for them.
"Did you get your pin for the evening?" Questioning his cousin with a raised brow, silently hoping she remembered the pin she should have gotten at the entrence. If not he'd get her one, because he was the dutiiful older cousin and all that.
Laughing as Shannon made her appearence at the bar he shook his head a bit. "I'm not surprised to see you taking full advantage of this evenings event. You do enjoy these sorts of places. If you get time you should, on your break, try some of the food and perhaps put in a good review?" Questioning, knowing she did civilian work with reviewing things. "Maybe even a write up for work...I'm sure the three of us could be persuaded into assisting by trying different dishes when we go on our breaks." They could, easily he figured, coordinate different meals so they could give Shannon enough to write about. It would help her job as well as help the lounge.
Watching the glasses Shannon had get passed over he smiled, glad to see she was busy gathering them. "We should get going Abby, there re people in need of drinks." Nodding his head as he took the drinks he needed for his tables, all settled onto a large round tray, and stepped away from the bar in order to get back to work. "Just keep an ear out Abby....some might be a bit more...loose lipped in what they say here." And back to work he went, either of the ladies could follow him, he wouldn't mind, it would give him more to do besides serving and keeping an ear open for any good information.Fiction1119"[/quote] [quote="Viva Viola

Character Name: Kioshi Amamiya (eternal corrupt Miyamoto)Location: Leaving the back and heading out by the stage to collect glasses. Dice roll: 9 Deciding to take a break from the kitchens, while the glasses were being washed, Kioshi stepped out of the kitchens and slipped out from behind the bar as he made his way onto the dance floor to help grab some glasses, noticing the blue ones, and promising refills for people. He had grabbed a pen and pad of paper to take orders on, as he moved about helping out some of the other servers. He just needed a break fro mthe back area and decided this was a good way to get the break he needed, while still working.
Writting down table numbers and orders as he took glasses, as many as he could fit onto the tray he'd liberated along with the pen and order pad, Kioshi headed back for the bar to exchange glasses for new ones that were ready to be put to use in peoples hands. Each filled glass was settled on top of the order slip for it, so he knew which glass went with which table, and he made his ay back out to pass the drinks out to the customers. This wasn't too bad...even as he only just managed walking into someone.

Character Name: Akito Kawashima / Lt. Londonite Location: Getting his pin and entering the lounge. By the stage. Dice roll: 2 Akito was running late, he knew he was, but he hadn't planned on it. He'd gotten....distracted. His husband wasn't going to be joining him, they were busy again, but he would be here at least to help out and do his part in his generals plans. He'd dressed the best he could to fit the theme of the place, but he was on a shoe string budget, so a white button up with shirt with suspenders which stood out against the shirt and a wool cap sat on his head. A hand was tucked into the pocket of the black slacks he wore. He figured it wasn't a bad look, simple but fitting enough, as he approached tghe entrence and made sure he got let in while claiming the special pin he'd need to keep safe tonight. The pin was situated on the tie he wore, a slip of black silk, and inside he headed.
Getting right to work, to make up for the time he'd missed, Amito went to start serving people and gathing up empty cups where he found thrm as he cleaned up tables. He was quick to work and silent as he did so, smiling and noddingb when he needed to.

Character Name: Shannon Mccord (Captain Strengite)Location: Bar > Main Stage Vicinity Dice Roll: 8, 8, 5 Shannon just chuckled at Alex's suggestion of doubling up her work duties. "Oh Bossman," She said as she shook her head, "Like I'm not already on assignment." The woman was technically there as a guest, not venue staff, and as such she was getting paid to chat and take pictures. She was getting money to just be there. All the while she was also getting the merits for being there for the Negaverse. It really was win-win. "Not that I wouldn't love all of your takes on the evening and the food. It would make the article that much more vibrant and enticing." Shannon told her small group even as Alex loaded back up on drinks. She got a refill from Rene herself with a 'thank you' and as the small little, mostly family, gathering faded away, she too made her way back into the bar area. With a smile that was more cold then actual feeling of affection Shannon passed the new drink to her earlier 'date'. "Here you go," She said even as she looked around and started to wave in a random direction. "Oh! There is my friend. I should go say hello! You wait here, I'll be back." And with that she ditched her 'date' to go hunting for another person who wouldn't mind her either interviewing them or flirting, just until she snagged their blue glass and she could fade away again. But he refrained from saying so as he was trying to be less of an a*****e. A glance at Noa told him his girlfriend would have something to say if he snarked at someone who seemed so nice. "Light and fruity, hm?" Considering he didn't drink alcohol, he had no idea what would be good. But he had taken a look at the menu and thought he remembered seeing something that would fit the bill. He chuckled softly at her conspiratorial whisper. "My lips are sealed," he promised. "I think I might know something." He pressed a kiss to the top of Noa's head before heading to the bar to grab something for both of them. On his way, he did his job for the night and snagged a few glasses that had already turned blue, suggesting that the guests get themselves another round. Character Name: Sanaa Akinjide/ Corrupted Sailor PandabearLocation: Main Stage Vicinity Dice Roll: 4, 8, 7, Sanaa's gaze lingered on Idirian for a moment, her smile holding a touch of amusement. There was something refreshing about his straightforward nature, even if he was clearly reigning himself in. Sanaa turned her attention back to Noa as he walked away. "You two seem like such a good pair. He’s lucky to have someone so thoughtful." Sanaa nodded, feeling a pang of wistfulness. She didn’t know what it was like to have that kind of balance in her life—someone steady yet supportive. Still, she was grateful for this warm welcome. "It’s nice to see. Character Name: Rowan Trumoia Location: Main Stage Vicinity “Oh, nice meeting you too, have a good night!” Rowan felt a twinge of worry for the other woman, the dress “was” her best friend’s, the past tense saddened her deeply. The current of melancholy that ran under Kaðlín’s words pulled at her and she fought the urge to follow her concern, making a mental note to try to check on her later. “I agree, I hope she’s alright.” She sent one last sympathetic look Kaðlín’s direction before turning to the sound of Halia’s voice, before she could answer she saw that her friend had homed in on a pretty young man. Her lips twitched into a smile as she watched her walk toward him, feeling a sense of pride as she approached. It was good to see her taking a risk, even if she wasn’t entirely sure of what to do. Rowan wasn’t exactly an expert on flirtation herself, but she could provide some backup, at least. She rose from her seat and walked over to them, smiling slightly. "Halia, who’s your new friend?" She wanted to make sure that all was well, if it was she could discreetly excuse herself.

Character Name: NATANIEL KHELLASATI (General Rakovanite) Location: Main Stage Vicinity Dice Roll: 3, 4
"How could he possibly survive," Nataniel muttered in response to Gideon's approach.
But for all that his idiot younger brother's words agitated him (and it did agitate him quite a lot that Ellian thought he knew literally anything about relationships and how they were supposed to 'work' and what made them better), even Nataniel had to admit that Ellian did look noticeably happier when Gideon arrived.
A little perk of his shoulders. Something brighter in his smile than the smirky looks he gave Nataniel.
And Gideon...
Nataniel stared at him over Ellian's shoulder. He would not care a single shred how his brother felt about the situation if it seemed like it upset Gideon. Not that Nataniel was an excellent judge of anyone's mental state, and he hardly trusted himself to understand the "vibes" anyone was giving off... But he did sort of think that Gideon seemed at ease, as well.
But he always seemed that way. It always seemed like he skated through life feeling very blase and not taking things much to heart. This was no different. But what did Nataniel know, anyway?
He sipped his tea. “I am a bit surprised you wanted to come out after work. Are you not tired?”
------------------------------------------------------------------
Character Name: ELLIAN KHELLASATI (Corrupt Super Diesel) Location: Main Stage Vicinity Dice Roll: 2, 9
Ellian did brighten quite a bit at the sound of his boyfriend’s voice just barely reaching his ears over the music and other chatter in the stage area. When he turned his head, goofy smile plastered all over his face, Gideon was there with an arm settling lightly at the small of Ellian’s back.
Possessive, much? That was fine. Ellie wouldn’t complain.
“Man, I told you,” he snorted derisively at his brother. “We aren’t old people that just decide not to do s**t because we’re ‘tired’ from work. Nothing can stop us from a good time!”
But because it was pretty much the first time they were seeing each other today (sans a few minutes in the morning), Ellian leaned over and down, dropping a quick peck to Gideon’s nose. “Course I was thinkin’ bout you,” he said matter-of-factly. “And waiting on you to get here and, like, back me up, y’know?”

Character Name: JANUARY BLOOM (Half-Youma Captain Janggunite) Location: Bar Dice Roll: 4, 3
"Finally." January was much too old to pout, but in with the annoyed clip of his voice was certainly something close. And maybe in addition, also a tiny, tiny bit of relief to not be sitting alone at the bar in a sea of new sensations.
It was only a little annoying that he wouldn't have had to do it for so long if he'd thought to send a text. He should've- Ugh. He should've sent a message announcing his arrival, but then, if they were letting each other know they were here, Eagun had fallen short as well. And January would be remiss if he let that fact go unnoted. "You might've done the same," he pointed out with a soft huff.
Eagun looked far too at ease, given what they were actually doing here, and January couldn't help a little roll of his eyes and a sideways glance away, shaking his head in quiet surrender.
"Tequila sunrise." His fingers tapped twice more at the bottom rim of his glance before they too settled. It was much easier to even feign relaxed when he wasn't doing it solo.
"How long have you been here, then? I didn't see you come in." And he would've, because January had been watching for him. Yes, the room was a little crowded and the lighting a bit dim, but he'd been watching for Eagun and would've seen him earlier if he'd been hanging around the bar.
...So, logically, he must not have been.
------------------------------------------------------------------
Character Name: WARREN SIEVERS (Half-Youma Lieutenant Magnesia) Location: Bar Dice Roll: 6, 3
It was completely by accident that Warren's gaze accidentally caught and held on some tall guy with curly turquoise hair. A guy who was staring him down like Warren owed him money or something. Which definitely wasn't right- He was sure he'd recognize someone with this guy's features, if they'd ever met before.
"Uhh- me-?" He'd barely even gotten that much out before the guy was snapping at him, 'Yeah, you.' And barking out commands like he owned the place.
There were several things about the situation that Warren was mostly unfamiliar with: he'd never really been in this kind of scene and wouldn't have imagined being ordered about like this was commonplace. But he didn't have any food service experience, either, so...
What he did know was that if someone came at him with that kind of energy in the part of the city he'd lived in, getting their drink spat in was probably the least of their worries.
So it was probably a good thing he didn't have any food service experience.
His lips cracked into a smile, something that would be particularly fangy if his glamour wasn't in place, and gave a crisp little nod. "You got it, Boss." Waters all around, and a little something extra, since as far as Warren could see, this group didn't look like they were Nega allies. Just random enjoying the opening. Well, they were about to enjoy something, all right. Warren would teach this guy, for sure...

Character Name: Dawn DaLumos ((Botein, Super Senshi of Amulets))Location: Main Stage Vicinity Dawn was just about to find a table that was empty and ditch her glass when one of the staff drifted past. He had a tray and everything. After a moment of hesitancy, and making sure he was not actively taking orders, she drifted up to him and asked quietly, or as quietly as the venue would allow, "Excuse me. May I ask you for a favor please?" The man was taller then she was, but then again standing at 5'2" meant nearly everyone was taller then her. She wasn't even in real heels since they hurt her feet. "Is there any way to trade out my drink for some water? If possible that is?" She couldn't see why not but it was always best practice to be polite, especially to staff who saw enough of people's bad behaviors.
