Hobbies:
Manga: What person doesn't like manga? Ok, he knows a lot of people don't and he understands why. But he likes manga and has for years. The stories and the art, but especially the stories, he really does enjoy them. He does watch some anime, especially when it's a manga that's been turned into an anime, but often times finds himself wishing the anime was closer to the manga...because they simply aren't as good as the manga...though the anime art is typically nicer. Let's not forget to mention that he also likes to read fanfiction, a lot, to see the couples he wanted to see in the manga finally be a reality...even if it's not cannon.
Party! While he won't go to a party he's not invited to he will go to almost any party that he's invited to, even if it's a person he's just met who is inviting him. He just won't go to say...high school parties since he is older and it would be awkward. When he gets there he might, and has, discovered it might not be a scene he's into and leave. He's not one for parties with too much drinking going on, where people are all sorts of drunk, he likes parties that are fun but not out of control. The point is that he will go and put in an appearance.
He does like to go to clubs as well, though most of the time he's not alone when it comes to clubs, because they are great places to hang out and have a good time - a drink or two and dancing and maybe some food. Plus lots of people! He's even gone to host clubs before...though that was only like...twice.
Studying: Life isn't all about his friends and having fun, it can't be that simple can it? Akito has a successful father, and mother, and his parents expect the best out of him and have since he was a child. It's just that...Japanese way of things. Exams to enter schools and being compared to others and compared to class mates, family members, the kids of his parents friends. But it's been so many years that studying is no longer a chore but something of a hobby done during his down time - a way to relax. Mostly done right before bed, tire him out faster, Akito mostly goes over text books, some aren't even for classes he's taking but rather borrowed from friends who no longer need them.
Music: Music is a big thing for Akito. It is something he plays when doing homework, in order to block out other sounds, and plays while gaming in the background. Music is a way to block out that which would otherwise distract him. It is also a way to alter his moods and either keep him excited and all but bouncing in his seat or it relaxes his mind so he can take in what he's reading. Music is something he really couldn't go with out, his mother thinks he'd be a walking zombie without it (since he uses it to wake himself up with in the mornings.)

Londonite is named after Dr. David London, Professor of Geology and Geophysics, University of Oklahoma, Norman, Oklahoma, USA, for his contributions to the understanding of granite pegmatites.
Londonite forms colourless, white, sulfur-yellow, pale yellow, pale yellow-green crystals with vitreous lustre.
Londonite is a very rare gem - it is found only in a very limited series of pegmatites in Madagascar. Gemmy faceted material is rare.

Social butterfly: Akito is out going and something of a social butterfly. He's not what people think of when they think of an anime nerd (he's not an otaku), he's heard what people think of them, he's not some shut in who doesn't know how to have fun and has no life. He knows how to have a good time and will drag anyone in with him that he can, kicking and screaming if he must. He wants everyone to have a good time just like he is.
Positive: Yeah, there are somethings which you can't be positive about. But those few things, like death, aside Akito is a positive person who sees everything through rose tinted glasses. He might have been sad when leaving Japan, but it was something he needed to do in order to live how he wanted to. He was after all going to a new country and think of all the things and people he could see and meet! Plus he wasn't going alone! He was going in order to be with the person he loved. He's the sort of person that when something is upsetting you he will try to make you smile and laugh again, unless of course you really want to embrace the negative (then you might want to avoid him). He doesn't like seeing people upset and will question, even pester, you to find out what's wrong so he can help you be as happy as he is.
Good listener: He's always up for listening to someones woes, sorrows, and anything else (though some topics may be a bit...odd for him). Akito isn't just the sort of person who drags people about with him and makes friends with everyone and does nothing for his friends. What kind of friend do you think he is? He is a good friend and a good listener. He may not always have advice for you, or some story about another friend who was in a similar position, but he will offer whatever words he can - even if just to comfort you.
Flaws:
Impulsive: From going to parties hosted by people he doesn't know, but they still asked him (or someone did), to randomly approaching people who seem to need a pick me up (even if they don't realize or want it). Akito is the sort to jump into a fight to break it up as well, regardless of the fact he might get hit and hurt. So really he's the sort to jump into a situation without looking, or giving it much thought, and ponder on the situation later. He lives for the moment and lets his emotions guide him. It's why he enjoys life so much, despite the trouble he has gotten himself into. Being the type to jump into things he has, more than once, jumped into fights, dramas between friends, and gotten himself into more than a few uncomfortable positions (parties gone really wild and bad with a guest appearance from the cops). But these are things people learn from and they were fun, for the most part.
This impulsive behavior though has cost him friends, even though he doesn't believe they aren't still his friend (how can they not accept his apology and ignore him?!). It's not his fault he missed hanging out with them the last two times. He just had other plans come up like just before he was left the house to see you! And those plans sounded far more fun. He doesn't mean to do this but if something sounds more fun, more adventure filled, or is something he's never done before he is going to jump those plans without a thought to his previous plans. he just wishes people would understand this. One of his friends likes to say he has to attention span of a fly, and it's why he plays music when he wants to focus on something.
Also, plans with his other half always come first....it's just how it is.
Clingy: Akito is the sort to make friends and keep them for life, or at least that's what he wants. He doesn't really get the hint that you just don't want him around any more if that's ever the case (and why would someone not want him around?!). He just doesn't see why people wouldn't want him around, he is a good listener, he's down for anything at least once, and he's always willing to spend time with you. The problem is that if you don't want to be his friend any more, for whatever reason it may be, he doesn't seem to get it. He will continue to talk to you, seek you out, try to make plans that include you, and act as though nothing has happened. For his friends he will always want to have plans made with you to do something (even if he might break them later in favor of something else). He needs to be in contact with his friends as often as possible!
God forbid he know you're going through some drama. He will mother hen you to death! Calling you constantly, showing up at your door to offer any support, or help, you may want or need (or at least he thinks you need it).
Self conscious: He might be impulsive and seem confident in himself, and his actions, but it's quite the opposite. Rather it's because he lacks self confidence that he jumps into things, if he gave himself time to think about things he would do nothing - ever. He would live the most boring life and miss out on everything, and he doesn't want to look back on things and realize he's missed so much. It's his friends, and their opinions on him, that make him feel positive about himself. It's why Akito has so many friends, doesn't accept people not wanting to be his friend, and needs people around him all the time. He saw what people in school were treated like if they didn't have friends and so he always sought out new friends - more friends.

Mother (Age: 49): A nurse she is a loving mother and runs her house as you'd expect a trational wife to do. She manages to balance work and home with ease, or so it seems, it is a lot of work but her children are well trained and behave well, they clean up after themselves and do well in school. She had four children and all but one, who she does not speak of, have turned out well rounded and will wind up with well paying careers. She supported her husbands decision in regard to her eldest child, thinking Akito would back down, he should know what he was doing wasn't right and why wouldnm't he want to remain apart of his family. It was just a silly curiosity - nothing serious. Some nights, when no one else is awake, she'll weep over the loss of her eldest because no one knows where he is, and her husband doesn't seem to care. She's sure he does care though, she just doesn't see or hear it.
Father (Age: 48.): A stern man, maybe even a bit cold, he is the middle child in a family eith five children. With two younger sisters and two older brothers. He is an engineer and studied at Tokyo University, which is where he met his future wife and they started to date. He is what you'd call an asian tiger parent in that he was stern and strict with his children, wanting them to do their best. He worked his children hard and does not regret it, his children have all turned out well. Akito isn't one he thinks of as his son anymore since his son turned out to be gay - something he cannot agree with. Akito was his first child and was supposed to amount to something, to marry well and have a high paying career. Finding out about his son he told him to either dump who he was seeing or leave, he would no longer be part of the family. Had Akito dumped whoever he was seeing than he'd have arranged a marraige for his son, old fashioned at it might seem, he would have picked someone to keep his son in line.
Akasuki Kawashima (Age 19): The second child in the famiily Akasuki has taken on being the eldest child, helping her younger siblings, as she attends university in Japan. She is attending her fathers former school, Tokyo university, for a degree in law. She does miss her brother, he was a lot easier to talk to than her parents, Akito was a bright personality and always made her smile. Friendly and outgoing, with her friends, Akasuki does her best to hlp her siblings and keep them smiling while keeping calm and mostly quite around her parents. She does blame them for her brother leaving, though she hasn't said as much.
Akifumi Kawashima (Age 17): The second son and proud of it, because he is better than his elder brother, Akifumi is going to be attending Tokyo University for an Engineering degree just like his father. Thinking himself better than most he is a playboy who doesn't want to settle down, not till he has his career, but until then he's happy to have girls flirting with him and doing what he pleases with them. He doesn't understand how his brother could ever want another male - it's disgusting. He's glad their father dealt with him and he's not sorry Akito left. How embarassing he was for their family! What if a girlfriend of his came over and figured him out? She might be disgusted and leave. Wrose would be if his brother wound up ever crushing on a friend of his. No, he's glad he's gone and somewhere else; he doesn't care where.
Chiharu Kawashima (Age 15): The youngest in the family Chiharu is a bright and fun loving child who enjoys spending time with her friends. She doesn't like to spend a lot of time at home, not since Akito left. She was home, listening from her bedroom door, as her father fought with Akito that final night. She had heard everything and was too scared to go out and shout at her father to stop - to leave Akito alone. He was happy, right? He said he was so why did ti matter...why did he need to go away? She cried a lot that night, cried herself to sleep, and has since blamed her parents and wishes to not be home much. She can't leave home, she's too young, and she knows she needs to be there for Akasuki. She can see that same look in her sister sometimes...she knows they both miss Akito.
Hayate Mori: Akito's other half, the one who puts up with him and loves him. He gave up his family for Hayate, just as Hayate gave up his family for him. They are in this together now, alone, and working to build a life for themselves ina new country. Akito wouldn't give Hayate up for anything.
