Botein of Amulets

Well that didn't sound good but at least it wasn't zombies. Botein absently frowned as Daedalus explained what he thought was going on. It honestly sounded like one big mess. A true environmental disaster with all the toxic rivers and acid rain. It seemed like pollution was a universal problem, not just one here on Earth. And that is what she was expecting, a Earth type disaster, but the reality was so much worse when they arrived on Daedalus' world.

It was hazy and even the air seemed to burn her lungs a bit. Struggling not to start coughing, which she knew would easily spiral into a coughing fit, the senshi used her collar to cover her nose and mouth. It wasn't a lot but it helped some. It gave her a bit of 'breathing room’ to fashion a better mask out of some of the excess cloth that was wrapped around her waist. Once that was done the young woman observed their surroundings. Her heart ached a bit at the damage that had been done to this world. So much damage. It also had her wondering if Earth could look like this one day, if they didn't really work on reversing the effects of human pollution that is.

She was so absorbed in her own thoughts that the small niggling thought of 'rest' and 'lay down' just slid right past her horror at everything she was seeing, and smelling. Bright blue eyes took in the bridges Daedalus had mentioned prior to them transferring here, her eyes widening as large things 'guarded' each crossing. Masses of smog and trash and gross, gross water. They seemed to be new to Daedalus as well if his comments were anything to go by. This was going to be a pretty yucky fight that was for sure.

Unsure about her next move, not really certain as to how to even fight seemingly sentient pollution, Botein glanced at the crowd around her. Did any of them know? Did she know any of them? To her surprise she spotted a guardian cat! Curious and wondering why the guardian cat tagged along the short woman made her way over to the feline. “Hello… are you ok there on the ground or would you like a slightly higher perch to see from? Can’t say as I’m the highest person here but it's better than ground level right?” Even Botein acknowledged that she was short at 5’ 2”.

Sigiriya of Ida

Sig was skeptical but he did know he needed to actually be in battles. Real battles. Not just sparing. Tortuga was right on that point. He just didn't quite understand why they just didn't go patrolling since some of the last large scale things he had participated in hadn't exactly gone so well. Granted him patrolling also didn't always go very well but that was neither here nor there. For now they were in the crowd and a senshi seemed to be giving everyone a rough idea of what they would be facing. It definitely didn't sound great.

His first thought about how the situation they were going into quickly proved to be an understatement when the whole group was whisked away to the world they were there to help. It was so bad, and sad, and the air! Bloody Hell! He thought London had been bad but this was so much worse. Sigiriya didn't even think, he pulled his sash out of his belt and wadded the cloth over his face. While it made breathing a bit easier it sure as s**t didn't stop his eyes from watering.

It was bad. It was quite bad. He absolutely understood now why Tortuga seemed so determined on them helping out. If this is what chaos could do to a whole planet while a senshi was there to take care of it, he didn’t want to know what happened to planets or wonders that had no protector. This whole thing was horrid. And those creatures that were on the bridges? They looked like masses of living trash. It was definitely not something he was looking forward to fighting. Especially since he wasn’t sure how to fight with his new weapon. Not really at least.

The purple squire stepped away from his companion to get a better look at not only the bridges but the monsters on them, waving off the concerned comment from Tortuga. The haze in the air was making it hard for him to really get a good look so he drifted further away, nearly bumping into one of the other fighters. "Sorry," He apologized before realizing the squire he had run into seemed to be fighting the air just as much as he had been. "Ah, hold on a sec." With that he began to rip his cloth into strips, happy to pass one to her before using a second one for himself. It would be pretty hard to fight holding a mask over his nose and mouth after all. "Here this might help."

Daekie
Figure he could have bumped into Anakeion. Let me know if you want me to change anything ^_^

Name: Deep Space Eternal Selinur
Action: Arriving.

Looking himself over he couldn't help t he smile that tugged at his lips. "Ah, indeed one might indeed say that." He spoke, blue eyes looking over the other. They certainly stood out amongst those assembled, even amongst the eldest here, with their appearence and skintone. Roka stood out but he couldn't say it was a bad thing.

His gaze following Roka's he stared for a moment as he took nopte of someone he knew. "Procyon." Staring at the rabbit like senshi who had one arm, they really weren't a fighter and he knew it. At least they weren't alone, or so it seemed, so hopefully they'd be kept safe.

The arrival in space had him sniffing as much as he could, his nose better than normal but not as it should be were he on his own planet. He didn't like the smell of this place the air quality was horrid, and he thought his planet had been bad when they'd been burning bdoies constantly. Coughing he turned to cough into his elbow. Blue eyes watering as he took a moment to look around - really look around. "Industrial..." He guessed that was what killed this place, something due to all the hazer and smog and poor air quality. "Well, do you think we could manage working together Roka?" Questioning the other as he stared at them, everyone would need to split up and at least he knew Roka could fight and if memory served right the other was rather vicious in a fight - just what he liked.

This place was already trying to dissuade them, as he was certain it was tyring on them all, a little trick and not one which would eter him. "Cute little trick...it wants us not to fight it." He mused, tapping a boot on the ground.

Daekie
Truce for now? Oh, and he knows the rabbit.

Name: Super Hamal of Talismans
Action:

She didn't know what exactly was going on but she knew it was big, something big was happening that had gained the attention of so many senshi and knights, she just hoped chaos didn't arrive to ruin whatever was going on here. When she senshi who seemed in charge of things, because everyone stood in front of them listening, she took in what they were saying and couldn't help but blink a few times. They didn't even look human, several in the group didn't look human, and she had already met one of these ancient senshi but to see so many and the variety presented here. She would tell Sachio about this when she returned from whatever help they would be providing this senshi who seemed so sick, were they even safe to travel or fight?

The arrival on the new planet was startlign and jarring as the first rbeath she took had her choking on the air. It was so bad! She wanted to pionsh her nose, and she did heavily consider it, but instead she was taking slower breaths in order to try and not pull ina lung full of the noxious air. Was this what Earth might face one day if climate change continued as it was? She couldn't help but fear for a fate like this. Then she heard something...like a whisper in her mind telling her she didn't need to fight bt no - no she told her self no. There was a need to fight...to fix what had happened here...because this was wrong - it was poision.

Name: DSS Basic Procyon
Action: Already not having a great time with this

Seeing those sludgy things had Procyon keeping back, memories of the toxic water on his homeworld bubbling up alongside what it had done to everything that had once lived and thrived there. Backing up and towards Illyria, he wanted to stay close to the mauvian if he could. He spotted Selinur as well as Urania but he wasn't sure which would be best to stick with.

"Be careful Miss Illyria, those things are vile." Not quite rot like on Fang but still toxic and he knew it would be harmful, especially to him. The fact the air was heavy didn't help either and it had him coughing as he pulled one of the scarves he'd made from subspace to try and block some of the offensive smog out.

Name: DSS Basic Erinome
Action:

This wasn't a world he recognized, not even in the slightest. It felt wrong and the air he breathed hurt in a way he'd never experienced. So many senshi, knights, and Mauvians were here yet none he recognized.

Erinome prickled as that urge to lay down and let this chaos win tried to sway him. It was toxic here, poisonous to the last drop of ooze that seemed to move of its own accord and he didn't like it one bit. It was far more out in the open than what had happened back home so at least something could be done about it and it didn't seem to be hiding.

There were a lot of people here and he moved closer to the group as a whole, taking in the wide variety of individuals. He knew he wouldn't be able to fight as much but at least he would be ready to try and heal who he could and would keep trying so he might figure out how to handle things.

Maybe if he could help any of them then when it came time to tear up those poisonous roots he would have someone helping because he wasn't sure if Chaldene would. This wasn't a place they would probably come to, not from what he knew so far which was why he hadn't told them when he snuck out today.

Super Sailor Daphne

Daphne was in a decent mood, considering. She made a point of avoiding eye contact with Alastor, wherever he was in the crowd, but by the same token, she'd accepted what he'd told her. She'd accepted that she might not be able to build the kind of life that she wanted for herself on Earth, that she might not get through her flood of grief and find happiness on the other side.

So, her life could be for making sure other people got the best chance of finding their happiness. It was a bitter consolation, but she was clinging to it, especially after she'd seen the look on Fang's face when they'd freed the spirit of that chrysocon on his world.

So she was here, determined. Daedalus looked awful. Maybe they could do something to help him, she thought, and that thought stuck with her, even as they arrived on his world and the familiar thoughts of is this even worth it washed over her like a wave.

It was worth it, she told herself. Just because there was no hope for her didn't meant Daedalus didn't deserve a chance.

---

Eternal Sailor Cybele

Cybele, as it turned out, owed a lot of debts.

There were many people that hat helped her in her own time of need, and she'd done all that she could do remember their names, remember their faces. Of course, she would have tried to help with something like this even if she hadn't owed anyone anything, but she felt a bit more connected to this, as it was.

She found herself a bit upset to see Daedalus looking so pale.

She quickly turned her attention to the amalgamations forming in the distance, though. If the Chaos turned itself into something that she could hit, then she could handle it.

Although the exhaustion creeping in made her think that perhaps she should sit down for a moment, first.

Abzu, Squire of Neptune &
Ibirapitá, Senshi of ********," muttered Ibirapitá to himself in time with the announcement of a pre-existing condition, and Abzu first squinted at Ibirapitá and then tapped him lightly on the arm.

"Knock it off."

Ibirapitá's glowing eyes felt like they pierced right through him in the smoggy air. Abzu coughed, but he was still listening as Ibirapitá dryly replied with, "Thought this curse had finally been broken."

Abzu's face went through a journey from solemn to faintly annoyed when Ibirapitá started to say, "Living is a cruel," and then stopped when he spotted Stromboli standing nearby. Ibirapitá cleared his throat, glancing in another direction, while Abzu shot Stromboli a look somewhere between help me and kill me.

He coughed again as Ibirapitá contemplated what the point of all of this even was.

Encke, Transcended Eternal Senshi of Plasma

Cepheus!

Encke's thoughts got pulled from his theories with Basiluzzo and Ran and went to two places once he saw the usually chipper or at least bright younger senshi of squid. One, which he voiced aloud, "Hey! How're you doing?" And the second one, which was kept to himself, of where was her sister?

Cepheus wasn't exactly a baby. She was only a couple years younger than his own sister. She was a baby experience wise though, so he did feel like he should keep an eye on her. That may have been especially because he was pretty sure the aforementioned sister would have his head if she found out that Cepheus had somehow gotten injured.

or corrupted. or consumed
or. or. or.

He was familiar with the feelings from when he had experienced Anser's awakening.

"If you have to, try to pull some cloth in front of your face. It'll help with the smog this place is giving off." Place and monsters? Pollution? Polluted monsters? This place looked like a dystopian hell scape, though he supposed this was why they were there.

Basic Kitty of Defiance

He didn’t make a habit of answering these types of calls, and this was, in fact, the first time that Kitty had allowed himself to be summoned by a complete stranger for a world that he absolutely did not care what happened to. Anything out there in the grand reaches of the universe felt irrelevant to his personal happiness. Why should he be bothered about the wellbeing of a far-off world and its alien protector? It was only because he wasn’t a complete dunce that he had to acknowledge that this mindset was short-sighted…

Yes, it would be a chore, and he couldn’t see a situation ahead where he would have to call on reciprocal favors of this variety, but- But. In terms of experience, discovery, and networking, it would be best if he answered some calls sometimes… And he was hardly afraid of a challenge.

He didn’t mingle. As everyone gathered, Kitty decided it was best to just observe for the time being. The process of how all this worked was still unknown to him, though others were probably more familiar with it. These calls (that he’d ignored) had already been coming through his phone for several months, maybe a year? Longer? Ugh. He should probably pay more attention to other people…

A pout had started to tug at his lips, at this thought of what he ‘should’ be doing versus what he was ‘actually’ doing and what he ‘wanted’ to be doing, and there were so few people he genuinely wanted to invest in-

And then Kitty spotted a head of navy waves, glistening with specks of little pearl, and maybe this wouldn’t be awful.

“Undine!” He flit to the Page’s side, wiping whatever traces of displeasure remained from his face. “I would hardly have imagined that I’d find you among this group! Here you had me convinced that you weren’t very enthusiastic about powering up, let alone all this dangerous-” Something he thought could quite easily be said for the world where they’d landed. ‘Polluted’ was too kind of a descriptor. “-and outlandish space travel.” His golden eyes were intense on the other man.

“Oh, but I am so happy to see you, of course.”

Name: Dunwich, Page of Neptune
Action: Trying to think about Daedalus’s answer. Looking around for someone to fight with. And then……oh. There’s a lot of gross, isn’t there.

Dunwich nodded, taking in the answer that Sailor Daedalus provided. A lot of those potential problems sounded intangible and difficult to fight in the straightforward sort of way that a gathering like this tended to indicate. Then again, the Chaos involved in everything probably made things a bit more straightforward.… Either way, the best plan, Dunwich thought, was likely to find somebody she could stick with in the fray.

Two fellow Neptune Knights stood out—well, Squires, technically. One of them (Læraðr) looked tall and scrawny, but that didn’t mean he couldn’t hold his own in combat. The cane he carried could probably serve as a solid weapon (awkwardly, Dunwich glanced down at her own driftwood heart; it had been more solid and stable since she’d harmonized with her Code Piece, but it still didn’t feel quite as powerful as the young Squire’s cane). The other Squire (Absu) seemed to have his hands quite full with a senshi, but nevertheless, Dunwich started moving toward the same general area as the Squires who wore the same planetary symbol as she did herself.

The shift onto Daedalus’s world interrupted Dunwich’s shuffling, but only briefly. As soon as she felt something solid beneath her feet, she started moving again. The air burned in her throat, and Dunwich coughed but it didn’t help. Even so, she pressed on. Whichever of the massive pollution-based Chaos-monsters she wound up facing, she hoped that she wouldn’t go alone.

(Part of her did wonder what the point even was of trying to find someone to team up with, though. She and d’If had been out of the game for so long, laying low after his purification in order to hopefully avoid any attention from the Negaverse, to avoid him being found out and dragged back to their ranks as Idrialite. And they did good in the world just as themselves, as Eva and Jacob, didn’t they? Maybe not as much good, nor in the same amount as they could manage as Dunwich and d’If, but……he did pro bono legal work. She had her research and taught at the university. Being born with starseeds that called them to the lives of knights didn’t mean that they needed to sacrifice their own happiness for that calling, did it?

Maybe everything would have been nicer if Dunwich quit worrying about her wonder, about the lighthouse and its extensive underground cavern system, about any of it at all.…… Maybe she could have just stopped……)

Despite those feelings swamping her brain, she kept moving—until she bumped right into someone else. That, finally, made her stop. Blinking at the senshi’s gentle face and the little antennae attached to his head, she realized that she must have bumped into another space senshi. He seemed to have come here alone as well.

“I’m so sorry,” Dunwich managed to rasp out in between coughs. “I’m Dunwich. We could try to stick together if you want?”

Name: Super Murikabushi of Hunger
Action: Noticing people. Worrying about Daedalus. #Judging Læraðr, but #Judging the Chaos even harder.

Although Murikabushi continued keeping his mouth shut so as not to undermine Daedalus at a time like this, he said a silent prayer of gratitude inside his head over the two senshi who asked about Daedalus’s wellbeing. One of them (Róka) was obviously a space senshi; they’d seemed friendly with Grieve up on Fang’s world, too. The other (Surtur), the one who was worried about the kids he looked after—he seemed human, and his ostensible age meant he must’ve been in the senshi game for a long time.

Either way, Muri appreciated them for saying what he felt, but didn’t feel like he could say without either undermining his friend (and at a time when people needed to trust Daedalus and stand with him), or arguably worse, making Daedalus feel condescended to, like Muri was trying to decide his capabilities and his overall health for him.

The rest of the turnout looked solid overall, though.… Illyria, Muri shot a smile and a little wave, but kept his mouth shut so people with important questions could ask them. Kaifeng was here with a bunny-senshi, but not with Helene—mildly interesting, but not enough for Muri to think about it too much. Looking over the crowd, he tried to catch the eyes of Demeter, Fang, and Monoceros—all of them seemed to have come out alone tonight. Muri didn’t know offhand how things would go up on Daedalus’s world, but whatever he could do to look out for his friends, he planned to do it.

Spotting both Daphne and Encke, Muri felt guilt twisting in the back of his throat. This was the second time they’d all shown up to a Chaos-clearing adventure to one of the long-surviving senshi’s home-worlds. Should Muri go over and talk to them? Encke seemed like he had someone else to talk to and focus on, while Daphne had come alone. Either way, Muri hadn’t told either of them anything before purifying, and he hadn’t exactly made time to seek them out either, even though the chrysocyon’s magic up on Fang had been………pretty bad.

Pretty bad in ways that Muri was still unpacking because frankly, laughing and feeling empowered by the Chaos-chrysocyon making him feel like he was starving was NOT the reaction of someone who was particularly well adjusted, and……Muri had things to work on. At least Selenga was often open to talking, despite not being in recovery himself.

Cybele, though, she got a little wave entirely guilt-free. Seeing any princess out at and about at a Chaos-clear adventure did Muri’s heart good. Specifically, it tickled him right in the part of his heart where he stored all his enthusiastic delight over everything about being a magical girl.

Very much unlike anybody else, Lanting seemed to have acquired a senshi who was also an exceptionally large, pink Tiefling, and when this was over, Muri wanted to know everything about that (at least, whatever parts Lanting felt comfortable sharing). (He also wanted to know why the exceptionally large Tiefling senshi kept staring at him as if Muri owed him money, then trying to look away as if Muri wasn’t supposed to notice this. But Muri didn’t expect Lanting to be able to answer for someone else’s questionable manners. Just because he’d come with the big guy didn’t make Lanting responsible for the big guy’s behavior. Besides, maybe this senshi was just a fresh arrival and hadn’t learned how to act right around people yet.)

Only one person in particular made Muri’s hackles rise: that long-ponytailed Neptune Squire who’d given him trouble back when he’d been with the Mirror (Læraðr). The one who wasn’t as kind as Pendour, and wasn’t as awesome as Pendour, and didn’t hold a candle to Pendour in any conceivable fashion. Also, not for nothing, but having a similar hair color and style to Leandro’s was a bad move when Leandro had undeniably better hair than this guy, and he probably took better care of his, too.

Not that the group was in any place to refuse help from anyone. If Ser Not-As-Good-As-Pendour wanted to help, then……yeah, Daedalus needed all hands on deck. The smog that assaulted Muri’s nostrils and mouth as they teleported in at the lakefront said things had gotten much, much worse in the past week. All four of the beasts guarding the bridges, likewise, didn’t give Muri the impression that they could refuse help from the Squire in question just because he’d been a presumptuous a** to Muri that one time.

Besides, there were more important things than holding a grudge. Like looking toward Daedalus, and nodding, and telling him, “New or not, they don’t know what they’re in for. If they wanna choose violence today, then I’ll gladly give them violence.”

(Part of Muri really didn’t want to do this. Part of him really wanted to just lie down in the dark somewhere and be quiet until people realized how much better things were without him. But he recognized that feeling from when he and Daedalus had come here before, and Muri was frankly almost insulted by needing to deal with it a second time. All the more reason to choose violence with these Chaos bastards, then.)

Name: DSS Corvina of Windflowers
Action: Continuing to have Attitude Problems. Glaring at Dunnottar. Standing up so he can Protect Lanting.

Lanting’s tone wasn’t quite what Corvina had expected.

Being fair, Corvina didn’t really know what sort of tone he had expected, but……something other than this soft tone with the pouting that looked like Corvina had said something wrong. Like he had somehow upset Lanting with factual statements.…… Maybe it was just from a lack of context, though? Because—well, that would have made sense, Corvina thought. Lanting didn’t have all of Zhiheng’s memories, and the universe had changed quite a lot since the last time Corvina had been able to contact anyone. The context with Kaifeng had apparently changed for the better.

Then again, maybe Lanting was only upset because Murikabushi kept looking their way and making things weird.

“The people of Murikabushi were weak back then, absolutely pathetic,” Corvina explained, matter-of-factly but still keeping his voice low. People other than Lanting didn’t need to know what they were talking about. “So haughty, they refused to use the resources made available to them under the Silver Millennium and Queen Serenity. Then, they acted as though they were better than the peoples of every other world—especially those of us among the asteroid belt—because they were so self-sufficient. Except they had no honor. Cheaters, liars, and thieves, the lot of them. Most would have sold out their own families for a laugh. They allowed their nobility to hoard wealth, to exploit those less fortunate and pretend that the gains were their own—and their senshi was the worst of all.”

Corvina huffed, glaring back in Murikabushi’s direction, silently daring him to try it. “While his people starved,” Corvina went on, “Sailor Murikabushi stayed in a golden palace, eating fine delicacies with the nobility and the queen. They had a revolution at some point, but I don’t know what happened with it, really. I had my own coup to plan, my generals to organize—” All two of them. “—my father to murder, and my own coronation after that. Things were very busy.”

Not as busy as things seemed on Daedalus, though. Despite the coughs that wracked his body, Corvina drew himself back up to full height—and that was when he spotted an uncomfortably familiar arrangement of bright colors (Lysithea colors; Corvina knew that even before he spotted the unicorn horn symbol), bell sleeves with tiered ruffles, and another face that seemed so familiar even though Corvina hadn’t seen this man before.…… Was it Dunnottar, over there in the glasses and the green ponytail, carrying around that lollipop?

Maybe Corvina should have paid attention to the Chaos-beasts, but as he protectively edged in front of Lanting, all he could focus on was Dunnottar. On not letting Dunnottar get any ideas about being able to edge Corvina out of Lanting’s life again.

Palmrya of Castor

He shouldnt even been patrolling and Viminal read him the riot act when he dragged her out to patrol, as he brother was home with the kids while Viminal got off late for work. He should be home because it was down to the last day for his wife, his daughter expected to enter the world potentially the next day. He was pushing his luck, but he had so much nervous energy, he could stay in the house and if he was out he might as well patrol.

The call for help was something new to him, not completely of course as the code had literally summoned them not to long ago, but this wasnt the code. He looked to Viminal, but even still he was, unusual for him, too curious not to heed the call.

He regretted it immediately, the air quality left much to be desired. There were a bunch of other's around who came to aid of this senshi, who introduced themselves now and looked well ... he'd certainly seen better day.

He looked to Viminal, but she seemed more focused on where they were and what was going on around them. "You good," he asked?

Viminal of Venus

She thought she was going home after work, but that wasnt the case because her brother in law showed up insisting they patrol. That of course caused her to fuss him out because his daughter were literally due tomorrow, but their was nothing for it. The nervous energy wasnt going to go away and she was very use to be on team babysitter, a.k.a, make sure the men didnt do anything stupid.

She donned the uniform and went of with Palm for a patrol hopping for a relatively quiet night because receiving a call for help certainly put a damper on those plans. She almost smacked Palm when he seemed to not even think about the potential consequences of answering, but he did and so of course did she.

Arriving on this new world made her tense because it was so dreary. Her eyes scanned the others that answered the call, listening to the senshi speak, but wondering if ... not that she needed to because she'd recognize that red hair any where.

"Im fine," she said to Palm, "Tortuga's here, over there."

Rhea of Laughter

It was summer and finals were over so that meant that she didnt have much to do, but to enjoy her time when she wasnt helping at her family spa. She could certainly patrol more often and that was what she was doing tonight. Of course if Mercy found out she was patrolling alone, she'd be less than pleased, but she wasn't a kid anymore and her cousin needed chill pill some days.

The call for help was unexpected, but nothing out of the ordinary and certainly nothing she hadnt dont before and so she answered it without much thought. After 11 years of doing this, it just came with the territory, so did running into people you know.

She sighed and turned at the clearing of a throat nearby and frowned seeing Palmrya looking less than impressed and Viminal too. "Listen I called Aaru, but his phone went to voicemail," she said before frowning, not wanting breath much less speak.

She frowned deeply looking when she heard, those are new ... "what in the pollution monster?" She looked to her family, who turned and looked as well."

Name: Illyria
Action: Talking with Botein and Procyon

Illyria wasn't sure what she was expecting once everyone was transported to Daedalus. But a world that was covered in a haze of smog had not been on her radar at all. The meadow that everyone arrived in was at least large enough for the entire contigent of order forces but even as she peered out to stare down towards the lake did Illyria come to realize that perhaps all worlds that belonged to the senshi that were unlike those reborn on Earth would be different in all aspects. The underlying feeling that she should just lay down and rest was promptly discarded. There would be no resting on the job when another senshi's world needed help, but more than that her duty as a Guardian cat would not allow her to simply lie down and give in not when she could protect those that she knew were here.

She gave a bitter cough before realizing that Procyon and another senshi that she didn't recognize (Botein) had singled her out. The offer of a higher vantage point was appreciated and the Mauvian gave consideration to the offer before shaking her head, "I'm currently alright. If need be I can change my viewpoint quite easily. I wouldn't mind sticking close by though for the meantime," and Illyria meant it. She wouldn't want to be left alone to deal with this sort of thing on her own.

To Procyon the Mauvian smiled softly before she glanced to the sentinels that were guarding each bridge crossing that she could see at the moment. "I'm in agreement with the thought that those things are best to be vile Procyon but if we simply can't ignore them in the hopes that they vanish. I think it's part of the reason we're up here is that we need to help get rid of them."

Lanting, Page of Ida

If Lanting was honest, he really, really didn't like the way Corvina was talking. it felt...wrong. Cruel, almost, to speak about people that were long dead in such a negative way.

But in the very short time Lanting had known him, he had definitely more than gotten the impression that Corvina was....in the nicest way possible...a very ******** up person. Which was sort of appealing, in an I-can-fix-him way.

Still. Not exactly great.

"Maybe that's how it was," he said, quietly, "but things are different now. This is a different Murikabushi." And maybe he had more context on whatever Corvina was saying; Lanting had to admit, he was kind of curious.

When Corvina stood back up, Lanting let his eyes drift to follow where he was looking, when he moved ot block him--and when he spotted Dunnottar, Lanting wilted and moved behind him a little more.

"...We should stay away from him. Dunnottar doesn't like me very much."

Sailor Cernunnos
regretting his life choices and investigating Cybele

Crunching through his food and staring unabashedly around at the others, Cernunnos was not really prepared for teleportation. That all too familiar feeling of being yanked off his feet and flung, even while his feet stayed firmly on the ground. It made him queasy and he carefully dismissed the rest of the snack back into his subspace pocket for later. Best not to waste food, but that trip and this place... left his stomach in knots.

The haze tasted like poison... sapping all of his strength until he wavered on his feet. What... what was this?

"What in the abyss?" He groaned as he covered his nose and mouth with his hand. It did little to clear the terrible air. This place was horrible... why were they even here? Cernunnos instantly regretted having tagged along for whatever this was. If he'd known he would have steered clear of the park entirely tonight, and he'd very much like to leave now, thank you. Though, how he was going to accomplish that...

Dark eyes swept over the area, looking for somewhere to escape to, and caught on a pair of silver horns. He might have passed the woman over entirely, save for those. They echoed the shape of his own, and like when he'd run into that page, he felt a surge of hope followed quickly by a surge of fear. Was that... one of his own people? After all this time, and across the universe? He could hardly believe it, as much as he wanted to.

Sidling between people, coughing into his palm, he struggled to make his way closer, eyes never leaving the stranger.

Who was she? A senshi?

The closer he got, the more she looked weird, just the way Annwn had... skin the wrong color and lacking the right sort of ears. Disappointment crashed down through him, nearly crushing him as the voices whispered in his ears and stole what little strength he had left. Reaching out, he grabbed the horned senshi by the wrist, dissolving into a coughing fit before he could manage to say anything.
