Hibiki Kirisho - Squad Nine Captain - ================================================
The gods trembled The demons flockedKnowing full-well that an adversary such as Zenos couldn’t possibly stay bound by a single Bakudo spell, Hibiki stayed on guard, remaining a few feet or so behind the Tsuriboshi net. He’d most likely get right back on the offensive once he freed himself, though he hadn’t fought him in the past, he could guess he wasn’t someone that simply waited around while his opponent hacked at him. Hibiki estimated he had around a minute or so to plan out his next attack before Zenos broke free of the Rikujokoro. Knowing this, he began to chant the incantation for a full-on Kin, but was rudely interrupted when Zenos reappeared directly in front of him, parallel to the Tsuriboshi net he had created earlier ”Damn.” he cursed under his breath, he honestly didn’t expect him to break out of the spell in mere seconds, it seemed like he sorely underestimated his opponent.
Realizing that he was going to go into the offensive, Hibiki readied himself, cancelling his previous plan and starting to create another one, something that would be quick enough to dampen his movement. As Zenos rocketed himself towards him, Hibiki wasn’t blind not to notice the gaping hole he had left in his wake, even in his sealed state it seemed the man had enough strength to easily break free of any Bakudo spell, however Hibiki wasn’t going to give up just yet. Straining his eyes to catch up with him, Hibiki could tell the man was clearly not taking him too seriously, something that irked him, but he decided he’d rather not dwell too much into it, as it would probably work in his favor if the opponent underestimated him.
Gritting his teeth, Hibiki readied himself to go into the counter-attack, as Zenos launched his kick towards him, Hibiki met his attack with a strong left backhand ”Bakudo #8, Seki.” he spoke as the two forces collided. Zenos’ being superior in terms of strength caused Hibiki’s hand to recoil back, though it wasn’t enough to detach his arm, he could still feel his muscles being pulled from the impact. Luckily, his counter-attack and the paralyzing Bakudo would probably give him enough time to react. Not skipping a beat, Hibiki slammed his right hand on a reishi platform ”Bakudo #21, Sekienton.” and with a blast he was obscured from Zenos’ sight yet again in a red smoke. However, this was only temporary, as he muttered two more Bakudo spells within the smoke’s cover ”Bakudo #1 Sai. Bakudo #9 Geki.” Hibiki knew that although the spells were weak, their effect was instantaneous and that was all Hibiki needed at the moment. Still hidden from sight, Hibiki’s voice rang out from the smoke a mere second after the two Bakudo spells went into effect, temporarily paralyzing Zenos, even for a mere second ”Bakudo #62, Hyapporankan.” he yelled out as a rain of energy rods shot out from beneath the red smoke, aiming to perforate Zenos and bind him. The last spell would most likely push Zenos back, probably pinning him to some of the rocks behind him as they started to fall back down due to the fact that the Tsuriboshi net holding them now had a hole in it.
[Yes, I know I probably made an auto-hit.] [Oh and yes, the pic has a link now. 3nodding ]The winds were unleashed ================================================

Hod Sephira =========================================== Arian Aes =========================================== The blood has dried The embers are deadDespite the fact that he was immune to being burnt by his own fire-- though he could still feel a concussive force from it should it strike him-- Arian had a hard time seeing anything from where he stood. True, the intense flames generated by his release had already died out, but the aftermath of the inferno left the ground sizzling hot, as a side-effect it distorted the air around him, making everything look wavy. Also, the fact that his eyes were literally on fire didn’t help him out at all to make out his opponent’s form. Though he could definitely see her figure, he was more concerned with the details, specifically the details of her mask. The initial shock from it prevented him from taking a good look at it; at least now that he was a bit calmer he could look at it more clearly.
That lead to a thought, he wondered what would happen if the mask were to shatter. Arian certainly wasn’t knowledgeable enough to know that the mask had a time limit, but he guessed that if you destroyed it, you’d cancel out its effects as well. Of course, this was easier said than done, but at least he had a goal in this fight, aside from beating her of course. Just as he finished his thoughts, Arian noticed Nu as she waved her hand, as if summoning something. If he recalled correctly, she didn’t seem to possess any summoning powers during their last fight, and he doubted she could acquire such powers in one year. But Arian was sorely mistaken, as two lions emerged from the ground, charging at him and biting down upon his arm and leg with their fiery maws. Arian’s dense armor prevented the beasts from doing any damage, and he could most likely tear them apart with a single wave. However, just as he was about to do so, the electrical sparks that Nu created as she compressed them and manipulated them caught his attention. Gazing at the sparks of electricity, he recalled her using it against his Path during their last battle, of which the latter dodged it before it could wound him, as such, Arian had no idea how powerful it was, but he certainly wasn’t going to test it.
Knowing full well he couldn’t hope to free himself in time to counter an attack, Arian instead opted to another means of counter-attack. As Nu threw her spear, Arian quickly lowered his head slightly as if bowing to Nu, Arian began condensing an immense amount of energy at the tip of his helmet’s horns. As the dark-red particles began to condense, it was clear exactly what the man had in mind. As the spear came closer towards him, Arian let loose the Cero from his horns, creating a very potent blast that was on par with their most powerful powerhouses. Given the spear’s trajectory, it would most likely strike it at an acute angle, breaking it in half instead of colliding with it, allowing the Cero to continue hurdling towards Nu. With her projectile taken care of, Arian redirected his attention back to her beasts. With a wave of his arm, Arian sent the beast gnawing on his arm flying to his side, before stabbing the last one with his sword, impaling the blade through the lion’s head. But the fire still burns Inside my head

Hideki was incredibly late to the meeting, in fact, by the time he had arrived, Yuki was well through most of it. He made no point to get noticed in any case, but he listened intensely from therein. Most of it was all simply common knowledge when coming into battle. It was to clarify goals and whatnot, so Hideki was basically prepared by then. His year and a half of training was well put, so he was confident in his skills. However proud he was of himself, he still had woes towards who he was to literally fight. Hideki knew Ori would be Yuki's, and that left at least a few other for everyone else. Zenos was beaten by Hei last time, and by the background that Hideki knew between the two, that is all that Hei wanted, so Hideki doubted that Hei would fight Zenos in this fight. Rolling the thoughts over in his head, Hideki stepped forwards at the end of Yuki's speech and laxly moved for the Senkaimon. Hideki was behind everyone else, for the most part, so he would be the last to arrive at all.
[Hideki exits Appartments]
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hideki stepped off from the Senkaimon with little happiness coursing through his veins. He was incredibly tired, and most of his time back in the Realm of the Living was filled with training and reoccurring nightmare's of his human life. It kept him awake for the most part, and left his days in fatigue. Now was no exception. Hideki was not slouching, but just by the way he moved, one could tell he was either tired or lazy. To those who knew him, he was not lazy, and those who did not would find out sooner or later. His over stance now was one that scanned the area around him. The fighting had already begun and he had to choose who to help. He figured Hibiki would be his partner again. They seemed to work well together and they both had hollow masks now. Additionally he was facing Zenos, of whom Hei had a hard time with. Two would be almost necessary. When he arrived, Hibiki was executing a counter attack, something that was incredibly well timed for Hideki's arrival, for he could now act upon Zenos for Hibiki.
Hideki loosely jumped up and lifted his right arm upwards. Pushing right leg against a reishi platform, Hideki shot towards Zenos's back. He was dashing forwards around 75mph, stepping down as he needed too. The vents on his extended arm flipped open with a soft 'pshh' and began their intake of Reishi. It's intake ratio was 1:4. There were four vents open, two on the forearm and two on the upper arm, and with them they absorbed Reishi to stockpile a mass amount of energy within his arm. Therefore the intake ratio was 1:4 for every one Reishi amount taken in, 4 are stockpiled. As Hideki closed the distance, more and more Reishi was stockpiled in his arm. It began to vibrate at a low molecular level and when Hideki approached Zenos at around 15 feet, Hideki slammed his right foot down into the air, and shot forwards at around 82mph, closing the gap quickly. He dew back his right arm and threw it towards Zenos's back, between the two scapula bones, and let out his 'battle cry' "Tsuyosa Tama: Arufahoukai "
As it would impact Zenos's back, the vents, now closed, would shoot open and release an additional impact as well as releasing a small sonic boom upon the area. This sonic boom, at least, would cause a throw back, Hideki had hoped, even if Zenos would dodge it. But he hoped that he utilized Hibiki's opening well.
[To save myself trouble, I just combo posted my exit and entrance. Plzkthxbai]

⋆⋆⋆∥ HAKASE xELISIA ☇【 yonbantaixTAICHO 】 When she had heard a shout near them, she had not moved at first, merely keeping an alert gaze on the newcomer. This one seemed to be somebody she didn’t know as well and seeing that his hand was going for something, a weapon most likely, she slid her hand slowly towards her own zanpakuto. Damnit. She had been hoping not to fight for the meantime, but worse come worse, she’d have to deal with it as soon as possible. However, she stopped, her hand mere inches away from the hilt of her zanpakuto, as he seemed to recognize her from something. The girl’s sister? Logically, that would only have to be Suzume, due to the fact that her other late sister had never been fighting together with them. In any case, how did he know her? She hadn’t been too strong in fighting last time but had darted around, attempting to heal as many people as possible. Thus, she could hardly be counted as a risk, right? Her eyes slid from this stranger to the other one, whom he had called Jac or something like that. Perhaps it was Jack and was actually his full name? Jack was a little bit of a…plain name, though, and she had always associated the Arrancar with being a little strange. Then again, that might have been his human name, if he had ever been human. Gritting her teeth, she repelled that thought from her mind. If she thought of them as once being humane, it would be troublesome and she might hold herself back. There was no room for mercy on the battlefield as she would get none in return. “How exactly do you know me?” she asked in a steady voice, directing her question straight to him. If he knew her for some reason, it was unlikely to be anything nice, especially since his guns were drawn now.
Feeling another approaching presence, her muscles automatically tensed in anticipation, thinking another enemy had come to join as well, which would be a terrible thing since she was dealing with two already, but soon relaxed when she noticed the familiar presence of her younger sister. Her attention focused back on the other two, just in time to catch the beginning of Jac’s reply to the unknown stranger and the name. Kaz. Scrunching up her nose, she inwardly kicked herself for not being able to remember as she sensed that it was familiar, but couldn’t fully grasp what was familiar about it. “I know you want to fight, but try not to antagonize anyone too soon, alright? We’re a little outnumbered here and I don’t want to risk anything.” she instead whispered out of the corner of her mouth to her sister. As soon as those words were out of her mouth, she found herself staring up at the towering figure of the one called Jac. She controlled her flinching at the enemy as well as she possibly could, only leaving a twitch in her right eye to give her surprise away. If anything, he was fast, she’d give him that. Her own agility wasn’t too fantastic, so she’d need to leave a wide gap between him and her if they decided to fight. Did she want to fight? Yes, well, she didn’t entirely mind, but there was the slight problem that, as she had mentioned before, they might not be able to hold up against the two of them. She had already seen two of their own Captains needing to fend off one of the Arrancar and for a Captain and a Lieutenant to fight with two Arrancars would be an absolute nightmare. But what could she say? She had seen that the others were busy with their own opponents and there were still some that were either not here yet or she simply couldn’t find them so she couldn’t inflict them on the others.
It would be best to attempt to stall them as long as possible, to put off any future battles, but she would stop them if necessary. Lifting her head, she defiantly stared at firstly Kaz before her eyes slid towards Jac. “It depends on what sort of dancing you are talking about. Perhaps I might be up for it, perhaps not. Are you entirely sure that you want to take a Captain on? “I do see you like to write, but I wonder what might be in that biography. her voice dropped down to a softer and more questioning voice as she continued, “Regret? Guilt? Pain? There must have been something to have led you onto the path you currently lead. Don’t you ever even wonder about what your life might have been if you weren’t this way? Do you ever just simply ask yourself…’why’?” A little irritated at herself for the rambling manner she was forced to put herself in, she silently watched his progress towards Suzume. Although she knew that it would be a foolish thing to jeopardize the situation that they were finding themselves in, she was unable to stop the words from forming as she uttered in a soft but deadly voice, her polite and conversational tone slipping, “But if you hurt Suzume, I promise there will be hell to pay.” ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬ ▬▬▬▬▬

He stands there, his hand suspended, and his eyes staring at the older sister. He looks down to his book, "It has everything, Shinigami. Has my sorrows, my joys, and what I wish were true. It tells what I can remember of my birth, and why I became what I am. It is the Biography of a Sephirot, the Yesod Sephira." He turns to her and twirls his blade, stabbing it in to the ground. Without looking to Kaz, he calls to him, "Kaz, I wish to take this woman in my dance.. Shall we?" He smiled to Elisia as he had finished the sentence. This Shinigami was strangely able to get him rather talkative, and he kind of liked having someone that spoke with him.
Jacques stick his thumb in his sash to rest his left arm. He sized the Shinigami up and considered her a strong enough opponent to release for, if the battle were to come to that. He cracks his neck and brushes some hair of his face. Jacques pulls his arms up in his sleeves and in to his robes' top piece. The front of the top parts as he pushes his arms through, and one can now see his muscular status. With this Arrancar, his abs were literally abs of steel. Jacques took his hand from his blade, "I am below the Praise, the Majesty, the Splendor, the Submission. I am below the Pillar of Mercy, Perpetuality, the Victorious. But most of all… I am the reflection of all my Brothers and Sisters. The Balancer of their Reflections; the Translator, the United, the Ether, the Standing Pillar of the Tree of the Sephirot. In the stance he had taken, he was prepared for either of the two to come at him.|| Sorry, didnt feel like logging out and then back on to this account~ ||

WHY CAN'T YOU PAOPUPAOPUPAOPUSEE? PAOPUForget it...... I guess I have no choice, PAOlet's get this over with.Kazuma The light is gone, but I'll make my own..
"Its fine, not yourself out Jac~"
He didn't have any reason to refuse and personally; he didn't mind fighting the same girl twice. It gave him the chance to see how much training Soul Society did while booted out. His fellow Sephira was a curious man with his own way of doing things, and that was perfectly fine with Kaz. Besides, he has never seen Jacques fight, so this could be interesting for him. As the older sibling asked him a question, he tilted his head to her, it seemed like things were going to get serious now. "I'm the guy who fought her and let her live, no need for such glares..." The barrel of his gun was now pointing to Suzume. She looked as feisty as he remembered, more prone to violence then her older sibling it seemed though. It seemed Elisia was stalling them in conversation, and Jac was playing along. After all, if memory served, she was the medical specialist, and while she was still a captain and they shouldn't disregard that fact; she was most likely trained more in healing then anything. Killing her would be unfortunate, but it could also cripple the enemy considerably this early in the battle.
"Yo, have you gotten any better?" The gun was still pointing at Suzume, his eyes unwavering. While he could have said something about Jac's intro, he decided to grill him about it later. Kazuma did not have much of a title to go by. Just enough to afford him some living space and that was about it. However, he preferred to be left alone, just enough fights to survive and keep his skills top notch. The gun still pointing at her general direction, he closed an eye to aim better, the end of his barrel glowing a dark red as the familiar attack of hollows begins to condense concentrated spiritual energy, the whole process taking much less time then it would for his fellow Sephira. Jacques had tough hierro, and he wasn't going to be hit directly with the blast, he could take it just fine. With that mindset in mind, he let loose the cero from his gun, the ball of destructive energy traveling faster then most would expect, as it was fired from his gun instead of other places in his body. If he was lucky, it would kill Suzume and severely injure Elisia. If it didn't, well then Jacques would certainly return to enjoying his fight.

After her attack, trying to keep it hidden, was the soft panting coming from Nu as her mask began to breakdown. She knew she should have trained better in its use, but decided against it, a decision that had returned to hinder her here. She could put it on for one last attack, and she had to save it, as the fight seemed like it was going to drag on for quite a bit. So, as the cero came barreling towards her, she watched as her spear snapped, the ball of energy still coming for her. Her mask breaking down, to be used later, she was forced to use a Utsusemi, sacrificing her captain's haori that was discarded on the ground. Hopefully, Arian would be focused on the body that was hit, as she bgan to think of a counterattack. Already off the bat, she knew it would be a waste of energy to use any fire based attacks on the man. He specialized in this field and it seemed her flames would only amuse the man more then anything. Still, she wasn't limited to just the fire element, and it was easy to tell that she was faster then him. If she played her cards right, those two factors alone would make this fight easy to end. She was behind Arian now, an open palm aimed for his back. "Hadō #88:Hiryūgeki Zoku Shinten Raihō!" The blast was trult magnificent, as lightning related kido had become second nature to her due to her abilities. Not waiting for any kind of retaliation, she had already begun in-canting[a word? xD] once more. "Hadō #58: Tenran, Hadō #54: Haien...." The resulting wind seemed only to fan the flames of her latter kido, the two combining into what could be seen as a sea of purple flames. She doubted on its effectiveness considering her opponent, but she was the type to try to end this quickly, and with how he is now and by past experiences with him, close quarter combat was for when he began to cool down.

The trash washes up to shore ▼ even in this landlocked place ▼ The s**t gets thicker ▼ Its toxic
Get it out of my face Ori let a smirk grow over his face. Yuki was indeed well placed as the Captain Commander. She was obviously quite intelligent, but her battle expertise was incredible. She knew how to handle herself. As Ori ran his blade up her side, feeling the pillow of Reiyoku that would move with his blade, He could not help but smirk and be, at least somewhat, in awe. What got Ori most, was Yuki's ability to perceive everyone. She, just by what Ori has witnessed, must know where everybody is on this battle field while simultaneously keeping up with the one she is battling. An amazing feat to be able to mentally handle that much stimulation without getting hindered by it. His thinking distracted his concentration, and his blade was brushed aside by Yuki's uplifting leg, making him loose his balance and staggering off to the right.
As Ori, sort of, ran into the stagger to come out of it easily, Yuki activated her version of Shunkō. Ori's eyes widened in interest, though his hand was already firing his cero from it, so most of her body was swallowed by the image of his Cero. It was an interesting transformation, to say the least, and what he saw next caught him by surprise. Ori's cero was swallowed by Yuki and her Reiryoku coating, which pulse the same color for a few seconds, and her returning it to him caught him, even more, off guard. his immediate reaction was to gain a little distance, which he did. Ori shoved backwards and silently released his 'blade's' power. He then threw his left hand forward, pushing off the air with his left foot as well, and activated his technique Fortificaţie, and absorbed the blast into his arm, causing flame like designs to creep up his arm and transfer down his right arm across his scapulae. The glow from these were a mix of crimson and black and his eyes were set dead upon Yuki.
He dashed forward, closing the minuscule gap of 25 feet quickly, and as he approached her, around 5 feet, a sort of distortion in the air around her head, by way of a 2 foot orb, would become apparent. Ori was using his Schimbarea de creaţie, causing all of the Oxygen atoms within that area to breakdown and become Carbon Dioxide. This was to stunt her thinking and hopefully through her breathing for a loop, for the orb would not move with her, but he could create another one many time after it. As that was created, however, Ori created a battle ax in his right hand, via his glove, and lifted it over his head to cleave down upon Yuki's left hip joint, and as he moved down he released some of the enhanced-pseudo double cero. This increased the falling speed of his ax and, if it hit, would most definitely causing some damage. Ori was waiting to see how Yuki would react to such terms of 'service' and how she would be able to counter it all. My name is Ori Shikoku De Nō ▲ one you will not understand ▲ I am one you will fear ▲ and one who will break your will My being is power: There is no reason to be afraid.

584 xxxxxxxxClimb the mountains and get their good tidings. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxNature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. Hakase Yuki 博士雪 Ichibantai Taichō
Yuki's first breath of the Carbon Dioxide was a precursor to the approaching illness, it did not hit her right away and all she saw was that Ori was coming for her. Part of her wanted to ask why he bothered to absorb what he had already thrown at her; it certainly couldn't be because of the presence of her own Reiryoku that would power it up. The amount of her own that she mixed in there was minimal, and was only used a propellant to get it going; it would hardly make it anything more than maybe 1% more powerful than it had already been. However, she was not looking to discern such trivial things, and instead shifted her attention to the axe that he formed, then swung at her. Taking notice of the expelled substance, she understood- at least to an extent- why he had taken it back in. Still, for use like that, it seemed far too trivial. He must have seen her speed by now, so increasing the swing of his weapon wasn't going to help much.
Extending a hand, Yuki utilized a bare-handed blade interception technique to catch the sides of the axe's blade just before the cutting edge came in contact with her palm. False or not, this Shunkō of hers still increased her power, and even with Ori equaling her normal physical strength, she was holding the weapon back with ease at this point. After another breath it hit her- the light-headedness from inhaling the CO2 the first time- though she did not know where it came from. Even still, Yuki did not have time to decide why it was happening, only the time to understand that it was happening, and to fix it. It took little less than a second for Yuki to cast Iyashi on herself, and as the Chiyudō hit her, she felt the symptoms being lifted from her body. Gritting her teeth, she gripped the axe tightly, balled up her right fist, and then let her arm fly forward. The limb disappeared as she executed a high-speed Ikkotsu, and she had every intention of letting it blow Ori's torso apart when the punch landed.
With Shunkō, the punch was even that much more devastating, and with her hand on his weapon and timing on her side, she didn't expect him to go anywhere. The Iyashi did not fix her, nor did it magically supply oxygen for her, so she still needed to get away from the bubble of Carbon Dioxide. Without the knowledge of the bubble, however, she was as good as a sitting duck, or at least she would have been had she had no reason to move whatsoever. It was essentially a good plan by Ori- had she been unable to simply step to the right once. By this time, she had released the blade and stepped away, leaving a quickly fading afterimage in her wake. As she reached a spot several feet away, she coughed a few times, though felt no discomfort, and finally let her eyes fall on where she had been. There was something where she estimated her head would rest; something hazy like the air was being warped. Her extensive medical knowledge was not for naught, as she quickly realized what had happened to her after she combined the symptom with Ori's abilities. She hadn't taken much in, it seemed, so she would be fine after a few clean breaths and well before the Iyashi would wear off. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, xxxxxxxx And the storms their energy, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx While cares will drop off like autumn leaves.xxxxxxxxxx

xxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx【 SUZUME CHIYOKO 】 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxLoneliness hit me suddenly, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxbut it’s only t h e n that I realized, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxafter all that I have ever DREAMED of, xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxI really don’t like F I G H T I N G ✿✿✿ She let out a low growl as she listened to her sister berate her about her willingness to fight, but she reluctantly straightened her back, letting her blade hang from her right arm. The speed of the Arrancar did not escape her attention either and she simply observed for now. It was something that she was used to – staying out of people’s attention so that she could utilize the element of surprise. However, she was unable to stop herself from shooting her sister an incredulous look at the words that her sister was shooting out at random as well as the rather…courteous voice that she was using. What was going on? Elisia, at the best of times, had never been very good at talking and yet, when she was faced with a true enemy, she was rattling off random sentences, as if saying the first things that came to her mind. Jeez, couldn’t they simply just get to the fighting already? The white-haired one was starting to approach her so she would take that as a good thing, since it meant that they weren’t going to simply chat about everything. A fight with words would be so strange and she hadn’t trained for anything like this. “Don’t worry about me, I can take care of myself,” she said in response to her sister, before narrowing her eyes on Jac and speaking directly to him, not bothering to disguise any hatred in her voice, “But touch me and I swear that you will die.”
His hand lifted towards her face as her grip tightened on her zanpakuto, ready to slash that offending hand off. She paused briefly as it hovered near her face, preparing herself just in case he should touch her whether accidentally or not. Fortunately for him, he removed his hand after talking about something silly. A scowl formed on her face. It seemed like everyone around her wanted to be very talkative today. Maybe somebody just wanted to irritate her as much as possible. “Get a grip on yourself, Eli! He’s not one of your goddamn friends or allies, for heaven’s sake!” she yelled at her sister in a loud voice, upset by the nature that Elisia had slipped into. As Jacques had claimed Elisia as his partner, she turned around to face Kazuma, as he mentioned the last battle. “You!” she exclaimed in horrified tones, her mind slipping back to when she had been on the brink of death. Her courage visibly faltered as this knowledge was revealed and she hesitated instead of diving straight into battle. She had nearly been killed last time and that was with Tadashi. Despite the fact that she had gotten somewhat stronger, there was still the fact that he would have gotten stronger as well and she was alone now. They needed help, but where? She had seen no other Shinigami on the way here, although she hadn’t explored for long. If she left to find someone, Elisia would have to deal with two Arrancar and if Elisia went, she’d have to deal with two Arrancar, which would end up completely disastrous. As she realized, they were utterly trapped.
A cold sweat formed over her body as these thoughts rippled through her mind, but she took a firm stance with as much as she could get of her previous aggressiveness. If she was going to go down, she was going to go down fighting no matter what. Seeing the cero charging in the barrel of the gun, she realized that her end might come sooner than she had thought. She had little time in which to think or act in. Briefly glancing to her sister, she noticed that the other girl seemed completely intent on what she was doing and there would be little chance to warn her. They needed their healers and as she knew very well, there would be no chance at all that she would ever survive this battle. Perhaps it was better to go out faster than die a slow and agonizing death from wounds. Lifting one firm finger and pointing it directly at her sister, she mumbled, “Hadō #1: Shō.” Not only would that get Elisia further away from the source of the danger, but it would prove to hopefully wake the girl up to see what was going on. Culminating her energy, she uttered in a loud voice, directing it straight towards Kazuma, “Hadō #88: Hiryūgeki Zoku Shinten Raihō! Hadō #58: Tenran! Sprinkled on the bones of the beast! Sharp tower, red crystal, steel ring. Move and become the wind, stop and become the calm. The sound of warring spears fills the empty castle, Hadō #63: Raikōhō!” There was barely any energy left in her after this, just enough for her to hastily create an Enkosen around herself.
When the attack finally did hit, her Enkosen held up for a short while, before simply shattering under the pressure. The cero ripped straight to her, creating a hole in the middle of her body. Her mind wandered off into nothingness, drifting towards blackness. A stray thought escaped her as she wondered exactly why the pain had only hit her for a second before disappearing as well. There could only be one reason for that – her sister. Glad to know that the other girl was still alive and well enough to cast a Kido spell like that, she found herself being gently touched on the forehead as the outline of Huang became visible. “Thank you for everything up to now and look after my sister in my place. Tell her that I have no regrets – I died on the battlefield as I wanted to. Remind her not to mourn, as everyone’s day will come, mine just came sooner,” Suzume’s voice was faltering by now, barely audible as she shut her eyes, embracing the oblivion that would become her reality before too soon.
Suzume found herself surrounded by an entirely white landscape, which looked as if snow had fallen heavily and blanketed the entire region. Konmei was there and she smiled at him, her fears vanishing within a second. “It’s time, isn’t it?” His face softened, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he nodded, replying, “I’m sorry, but it came sooner than both of us expected.” Crossing the distance between them in several strides, she laid a calm hand on his arm and shook her head at him as he looked up at her. “There is nothing to be sorry for. We had enough time together and it happens to everyone. Anyway, I was supposed to die once, remember? The car accident in the human world would have been enough, but I had a second chance at life. It was a good life while it lasted.” Feeling a cold pressure on her hand, she looked at it in surprise, wondering what it was. She located a tiny white flake on her hand, gently picking it up before looking up to the sky where millions of snowflakes were slowly descending from the sky. Her lips curved into a smile as she admired the sight, her face lit up, looking like a child who had been told Christmas had come early. He looked at the snowflakes with surprise, unfamiliar with this sight, before commenting as he glanced briefly at her, “Looks like your childishness never left you.” She elbowed him in return, too caught up by everything to be angry or her usual self, “Hey! That doesn’t mean you can tease me in return.” Feeling herself slipping away and the world going slightly blurred around herself, she turned to Konmei with a sad smile on her face, “I guess I never said it before, but thanks anyway. For everything. I’ll miss you.” A tear silently made its way down her face and he reached over to softly remove me, dropping into a deep bow. With that, she slipped back into darkness, unable to see, hear or feel anything at all.
In the real world, her slowed breathing came to a standstill, her body going limp against the ground as her zanpakuto rolled out of her lifeless hand, making a soft clunk noise as it came contact with the hard, unfeeling ground.

⋆⋆⋆∥ HAKASE xELISIA ☇【 yonbantaixTAICHO 】 It was a lucky thing that Jac had stopped right then and there as he had been too near her sister’s face and her patience had been on the verge of wearing out. If that had happened, Jac would have found himself on the receiving end of a nasty high-level Kido spell as she was not about to take chances on an enemy, especially someone like this. She was prepared to take any backlash that she might have to suffer, but there were no dispute about the safety of her sister. Perhaps she was simply jumpy and over-reactive, however, she had already lost one sister and she was not about to lose another. “A very wise move,” she commented in a monotonous voice, suppressing any intent to surprise the enemy with an attack. Her face softened for the briefest moment as he described his book and when she spoke again, her tone was much more gentle like she was trying to reassure a worried patient, “The past is the only way that one can learn from prior mistakes and I am certain that wishes do come true for several people. But you can’t simply stand around waiting for it to come true, you must do something about it.” Her sister’s shout brought her crashing back down to reality and she visibly recoiled from him, a look of horror written on her face. Shaking her head resolutely from side to side, she put her hands up as if fending him off and creating a mental barrier between them. How could she have done something like that? Treating an enemy like a friend or somebody close? She knew very well that this was one way that people often died and one weakness she would need to eliminate as quick as possible. In a desperate bid, she recalled to her mind painful memories of the last battle – Nu’s injured arm, Tsukiko’s injured body and face, her sister’s near-death, Hei’s terrible injuries and collapse, the others who had fallen, the death of two Lieutenants and many others. This one was one of them and she could not allow something like that to happen again.
Tight-lipped, she merely inclined her head to show her agreement with his last question, but did not make a move yet. Hopefully, she might be able to buy some more time, yet she knew that time was something that was running out right now. The only way to stop them would be to fight them herself as much as she didn’t want to. She was thrown out of her thoughts as that…Kaz mentioned where he knew them. His full name formed in her mind and she whirled around to fix her gaze on him. “You’re Kazuma the Binah Sephira, right? So you use blood for healing.” She didn’t add Just like me as she could not afford to let any of her abilities slip as she needed all the advantages that she could get. Yet, if she could, she would like to be able to take a sample of his blood to test on. She had been attempting to create a healing solution of her own blood, but that had been unsuccessful so far so perhaps this might be better. Her eyes travelled anxiously up the gun, but she knew that she needed to pay attention to her own enemy, who was introducing himself now. No matter what, she couldn’t die here or get herself too badly hurt. Her own Division had already been halved and their healing abilities were going to be stretched to the limit in this battle. “Jacques Jonghelinck,” she pronounced the two words as if attempting to burn them into her mind, “I am Elisia Hakase. I would like to say that it was nice to meet you and exchange polite greetings as people tend to do, but unfortunately, we are hardly well-met. Ah well, one must do what one does under the circumstances.” She slid her zanpakuto out of the sheath, swinging it in her left hand as she tested the familiarity of it. His steel abs had been a little strange to see but to her, it was nothing but another obstacle to pass. She hid her surprise well, instead plotting ways to somehow bypass his apparently powerful armour. There was still time since he did not seem like the one who would strike her first, as he seemed to be simply getting ready for them to attack. Her mind blocked out basically everything else as she concentrated on finding a method to defeat her current enemy.
Suddenly a pressure from nearby pushed her away, not only knocking her off her feet as she had not been ready for anything like that but propelling her away from Jacques, her sister and Kazuma. Landing on her feet, she stared disbelievingly at her sister as she tried to get a proper grasp on the situation. Her gaze caught the sight of the cero and her eyes widened in shock. By now, she was too far away to be able to do anything, except perhaps simply jump in there and take the hit for herself. That was foolishness as she well knew, since she could never get there in time to be able to get in the way or stop it. Hearing the incantation of three high-level Kido spells, she came to the terrible conclusion that her sister had decided to take this on by herself and die by fighting. The cero was already launched now and it was too late to do anything. Creating a Tozanshō and an Enkosen around herself, she was only able to watch helplessly as the attack hit her sister. It was only after she was completely certain that the attack was completely gone, that she emerged unscathed, except for a few bruises and cuts which were insignificant for the moment, from her barriers. She darted back to her original position, wordlessly casting an Iyashi on her sister. The sight of her sister’s battered body as well as the blood spilling from the wounds was too much of her to take and she fell to her knees, her face twisted in a grimace. Clamping her hands resolutely over her ears, she let out a piercing, high-pitched scream, directly all her grief and misery into that one sound. The sound lasted for a short while, before it cut off abruptly as she struggled to deal with everything. No, no, no. Why? Did somebody hate her? She had already lost one sister and now she was supposed to bury one more? Removing her hands from her ears, she fixed her gaze at the space in front of her, unable to function or move properly due to the shock of what had just happened.
“Sleep now, sleep. You’re at peace now,” a soft voice reached her ears and Elisia raised her head, looking straight at her own zanpakuto spirit who had materialized next to her sister. The other two Arrancar, if they were looking, would only see her looking at an empty space in front of her sister, as Huang had chosen this time around, to not reveal herself to the others but stay only visible to Suzume and Elisia. Watching as Huang clambered to her feet, she half-heartedly listened to the spirit’s words, “She said that she has no regrets to leave this world, she died as she wished and she asked you not to mourn her.” Something within Elisia snapped at that moment in time and she found herself yelling back, “She died as she wished?! Are you kidding me? Nobody wants to die that way, nobody. The battlefield shouldn’t have been her grave. It wouldn’t have been if I hadn’t gotten into this business in the first place. Every decision that I make by myself always comes to bite me back in the end. Why, why does this always happen?” Another voice entered her mind at that moment in time, uttering in silky-sweet tones, Perhaps it’s you? Your weaknesses? For crying out loud, you can’t even defend your own sister when she was only a few feet away from you. You barely have enough energy to fight. If I might suggest, the way to revenge your sister is to get rid of the Arrancar. It is only that, that will be able to tribute to her sister. Huang’s eyes widened and she shook her head hurriedly, as if afraid of the voice since she could hear it as well, “Don’t listen to her! If she comes out, it’ll merely taint your sister’s memory not help it!” Elisia, ignoring Huang entirely, replied in a dead voice to the other voice, “And how do you suggest I do that?” The reply was swift, Accept me and let me take over. I can do what you cannot.
Elisia barely hesitated this time, instead silently sending agreement through her mind. Almost instantly, she found the surroundings fading, only to be replaced by the familiar appearance of her inner world. A rather sober Huang sat at a bench only a few feet away from where she was and she looked up at her spirit in confusion, her anger momentarily forgotten. “Fantastic. Now we’re both stuck in here, thanks to your rushed agreement.” Huang commented in an irritated voice. Elisia, feeling the need to defend herself, retorted, “Well, how else was I supposed to do what needs to be done?” The spirit let out a sigh, before replying, “Letting her out is not going to help in the slightest and since that’s the one thing that you want to do, that’ll be the least likely thing that she will do.” With her curiosity having been evoked, she asked, “By the way, who is she? Another zanpakuto spirit? She couldn’t be a Hollow, since I didn’t undergo the Hollowfication process…” Glancing upwards, Huang replied, “She is part of you. Not me and not another zanpakuto spirit. She is the manifestation of everything you have tried to push away. Negative things, worries, anxieties – everything you pushed away. It was not that terribly bad, until now. Now was the trigger to release her and although you could have resisted, you gave in. All we can do now is pray and hope that she doesn’t cause too much trouble and that she doesn’t injure your body too much. Then again, she’s not completely stupid, so that’s a good thing.”
Meanwhile, Elisia’s body, after all the yelling, had slumped against the ground as her mind was dragged into her inner world. Lasting only a split-second, another presence took hold of her body and she rose to her feet in one swift movement, stretching her arms and seeming completely nonchalant about what had happened. The usual childish happiness and the previous grief-stricken spark had been wiped from her eyes and were now shrewd, one of little emotion and calculation. She cast her gaze around herself with interest, performing a quick scan of the memory of the different people that she had given by Elisia, before looking at the lifeless body of Suzume as her own lips curled up into a smirk. “A fine day for me to emerge, I must say. Yet, there is something missing.” she commented in a bored voice, twirling strands of her silver hair around her finger, “Oh, yes, a name. I need that, I think.” Her eyes narrowed on the red blood that was in a pool around her sister. “Red blood,” she paused briefly as she translated that into a suitable name in Japanese, “Akane. Perfect. I’ll be Akane.” Clenching her left hand into a fist, she slowly unfurled her fingers, testing her control over the body. She glanced at the body once more with an expression of mixed disgust and contempt as she spoke to Elisia, not the others this time, “And how absolutely sickening. Why would you get upset so easily? Fickle, useless woman. Well, at least, I’ll be able to do better in this body of yours.” Turning her attention to her apparent enemy, she swung the zanpakuto with ease and tightened her grip on it. She beckoned to him with her free hand, uttering in a cool voice, “I think it’s about time that we started, eh? Come on, boy, let’s see what you have.” While she did know his name, she preferred to use insults for the meantime as they usually riled the opponent up. Afterwards, someone, who gave an introduction like that, would be easily offended, right? She licked her lips in anticipation. This game, no matter what, was going to be fun.

He looks to Suzume as she cast her sister back, watching the Cero strike. He turned to the sister and watch her. He leaves his stance and watch the young woman. He did not care for what had happened to Kazuma, as he could very well take care of himself. He simply stares as her and wonders what it would feel like to lose a sibling. The ear-shattering scream of which Elisia managed to make told him of what that pain would be. He held himself from attacking her, giving her time to regain herself. He watched as she mostly just stayed slumped there, and began to approach her. He steps back as she finally rises, and raises an eyebrow at her new attitude.
He answers to her beckoning, moving forward towards her. He had simply smiled when she called him boy. Jacques moves slowly, and pulls an arm back as he nears Elisia. Just as he was close enough to strike, Jacques would disappear in a sonido. As he appears behind Elisia, he would aim his fist for the small of her back. In the process of the moment, his own eyes showed a totally different person. If his fist would lose its mark, and she to attack him, he would be sure his Hierro could help him some.|| My post looks so crappy compared to your Elisia and Suzume gonk It was a quick one, though~ bed time~ ||

WHY CAN'T YOU PAOPUPAOPUPAOPUSEE? PAOPUForget it...... I guess I have no choice, PAOlet's get this over with.Kazuma The light is gone, but I'll make my own..
Kazuma could not watch as his cero hit his mark. Before it killed the girl, she actually managed off a few high level kido in his direction, prompting him to vanish with a sonnido, a good, safe distance upwards over the massive electrical blast, winds, and fireballs, a combination that might have injured the Sephira if not for his cautious nature, which explained why he was high in the air instead on the ground, with Jacques. He took his time with getting back down, choosing rather to take steps instead of simply crashing. "Yeah, that's me...." He only watched with unfeeling eyes as Elisia rushed to her sister. He was sure that it would have hit Elisia too, Suzume must have done something. Inwardly, he praised the girl for her final acts to be so virtuous, but he couldn't applaud such behavior now, it would be unfitting. Still, when he finally touched down, it seemed Elisia made a serious transition. No longer was her frightened eyes, they were replaced with those more suitable for a Captain. Her voice changed as well, more serious, if not more violent. Seemed their scared little captain had some secrets to hide, as he stepped aside to watch the two of them do battle. He had half a mind to help Jac as he made the first move, but he did promise to only go after the younger sister, though she went down much too soon. So with a dulled expression, he puts his gun back into its holster, leaning against a building to spectate. After all, despite his looks, he was a medic in some ways as well, and he liked Jac, and preferred him breathing.
[Like Vee-kun, my post is not worthy of your length Ang! T uT And to confirm: I did have permission to kill of her RPC biggrin ]

Jūbantai-Taichō Eriko was not in the best of minds as she slipped out on the other side of emergency Senkaimon. She was still devising all the possible ways to kill a certain, inconsiderate, indecisive, perfect b*****d. Mentally, she had gone through the five stages of grief about five times already in quick succession and was presently on the depression stage of the sixth cycle. Unfortunately, that meant that her focus was not where it was supposed to be but at least, it came like second nature to her to form a platform of reishi in the sky to walk on as she sauntered from her entrance to her old home, her real home. Without much attention to her surroundings or the fact that they had returned to do battle, Eriko's body decided to take a stroll in the direction of her Division's grounds. As they came into her blank view, Eriko twitched somewhat at the sight of everything being intact for the most part. Still on automatic, she made a beeline for her office space with the seventh cycle taking its toll on her. She grieved in silence and the fact that she was moving on steadily to the second stage of anger, it did not mix well with her seeing where she and Lee had been all those years ago, trying to figure out their relationship of sorts. She really wanted to punch a hole into his stomach. There is no need to strike to a heart of stone. Everything was layered with dust. It seemed too normal for what was happening outside of those walls. Battles were beginning. Hearts were breaking. Murders were being planned and here she was: looking over a past life. It was scary to think that she might have carried on in that daze if it had not been for a scream, ear-splitting and full agony, one that matched how she felt on the inside. With a shake of her head, the Jubantai-Taicho grabbed a faded, black strip of cloth and wrapped it around her waist multiple times before sealing it in place with a neat bow. The voice of the heart-wrenching bellow had been female as well as that it sounded too much like Elisia-Taicho, a friend. Once her haori was secure, Eriko left the building immediately while keeping her present state of anger. Maybe some positive use could from it like redeeming her lack of presence on the battlefield the last time. By now, the scream had ended but she had managed to pinpoint the general location of the fellow, female Captain. Eriko bounced from one rooftop to the next until she felt a familiar reiatsu as well as two foreign ones. Thinking that it was Elisia trying to fight two of the enemy alone, Eriko decided to move more forward and could not prepare herself for the sight below. She had arrived in time to see a white-haired male making a move for Elisia as another Shinigami lay on the floor, a gaping hole in her body. The Captain took in a breath silently. She made no attempt to suppress her reiatsu because it had become a habit to keep it bottled up. Knowing that she had this to her advantage, Eriko crept back to the other side of the roof to keep herself from being seen. There was another Arrancar there as well but if she was engaging him, she wanted that body safe and away from violence.
"Cho, I need you." As the white-haired girl appeared before her, she shared her plans with her via hurried whispering that lasted for a few seconds. With a plan in mind, Eriko stuck her zanpakuto sword within the tightened folds of her dusty sash and pulled an arrow, getting to her feet and lining it up against the bow. This would a warning shot as well as a distraction so she kept to lying against the roof which made her head and arms visible for the most part. Closing her left eye for a better focus, Eriko knocked the arrow once against her ring before allowing to sail through the air and hopefully through Jac's wrist and onto lodging itself into the wall, a few millimeters above the tallest piece of Kazuma's hair. During that arrow's journey, an invisible Cho's job was to retrieve the body and the person's sword in a split second before Eriko released her second arrow. This second one was meant for Kazuma's neck, with 120,000 Hz buzzing through it, so that the other Arrancar knows that she was only was playing with him. If all had went well, Cho would be back on the roof with Suzume's body and sword. If that happened or not, Eriko dashed away via rooftops to nowhere in particular because the Sephira knew that she was there and did her special whistle for the arrows to return to her as she tried to get some distance between herself and them. 447 ┏──────────────┓ xxΖenos Λthanasius xx[Immortal Stranger] xxxxαπό το έδαφος ┗──────────────┛ Malchut Sephira - Being of Lowliness Πετρώστε, Αρχαία Γοργούς Petrify, Ancient Gorgon After his foot collided with the small round shield, it seemed to bounce back slightly, throwing him off balance and stumbling backward on his remaining, floor-bound foot. A result of the hastily used Kidō, a mild, temporary paralysis ran through his body, preventing him from continuing to attempt to right himself, but a second glance at Zenos would show that this one was not the one to be concerned with. Appearing seemingly out of nowhere, Zenos' solid body walked calmly past his afterimage as it came crashing to the ground, his eyes shut tight as he deemed them no longer useful now that Hibiki was hidden where sight was irrelevant. The size of the cloud of smoke was quickly expanding, but this did not stop Zenos from locating him with ease, both through smell and sound on their own. After Hibiki used two more spells, Zenos continued walking after breaking through the Geki, and fought off the Sai in the same manner.
As the word "bakudō" fell from Hibiki's lips for the seventh time today, Zenos merely uttered "pathetic" before flicking his arm across his chest, flipping his palm over and instantly releasing his Resurrección and simultaneously erecting a make-shift wall of thick stone hexagons that took the force of the Bakudō, then crashed to the ground once it was over. Upon hearing an odd noise coming up from behind him, Zenos slid his eyes open just as Hideki moved into Shunpo and then caught his fist in his open hand by swiftly moving it back there before it struck. As it hit his open hand, a small shock wave was released, but Zenos' hand did not budge due to the fact that the increase in his strength granted by his Resurrección made it that much easier for him to hold it back.
Glancing over his shoulder at Hideki through a narrowed right eye, he simply said "Jaane" before releasing both Hideki's hand and the ability that erased sounds from his body. A sound that resembled the crack of a whip could be heard in the air six times in rapid succession as Zenos vanished once, appeared to Hideki's right and swung a hyper-speed, and devastating kick to his ribcage on that side, disappeared once more, reappeared near Hibiki in the smoke cloud and aimed an equally fast back-kick to his knees, disappeared for the last time, and then reappeared outside the cloud of smoke. Once in clear air again, Zenos extended his right arm, then flicked it to the side to summon a forest of blunt stone pillars that shot out of the ground at varying angles to strike the two Shinigami from below. ...and thus the world is petrified. ►Translations◄Jaane (じゃーね, see you then)
