Aedus looked at the wall carving for a bit it was a beautiful carving but he still wanted to get back to Nimah so he headed off to continue looking for her. "Niamh??" Aedus called out looking for his friend. One who he hoped would some day forgive him and agree to be his special someone but Aedus was too afraid to ask. Since he thought that she still blame him on some level for not saving her. He sighed wondered if this would always stand between them a gap they could never bridge a chance lost for all time.

Spotting something out of the corner of her eye, Anu stood up slowly, the Fennekit wriggling in her arms and attempting to lick her face. "Stay here, you two... And you also, Saiya. I need to investigate this and I don't want anyone getting hurt again." Following the strange tracks in the sand, she stopped when the trail ended with a small statue of a... snake-thing... How could something so small make tracks this large? And... why to the tracks lead to a statue, of all things..? Shifting the familiar in her arms to be tucked safely under one of them, she bent down to pick up the statue and walked back to where the others were. She was determined to examine the statue more closely once they were out of the ruins. Perhaps it offered an explanation to the strange occurrences going on.
If Suhail was being honest, he had lollygagged. A lot. Blame the chocolate coins. They were pretty good! Wasn't there a myth somewhere where you had to put a coin in someone's mouth so they could pay the ferryman to the afterlife? Something like that.
Suddenly, there was a strong draft in the ruins. First checking to make sure someone hadn't pantsed him, he grumbled and trudged his way against the wind, finally catching up to Anukhet. "Is everyone all right in here? It seems like this place is getting kind of weird," he said. Then something caught his eye. He picked up a yellow-and-black banded rock. Tiger's Eye? "This rock kind of looks like you, Anu."
16: Ow! Your arm caught on something, and now you're bleeding a little. You look back to see the thing that it caught on, but nothing's there... better put pressure on that, for the time being.
With all his wandering around, his pupils expanded to help take in the light, it still felt like it was taking far too long to find Bismae through the darkness and the students crowding that particular part of the ruins. He had been about to give up, to attempt to uselessly tend to the familiar himself ... Percy decided to wander down a different corridor to get some peace and quiet, away from prying eyes to save himself the embarrassment. ...
... and that's when he heard it.
"Perccy!"
That hissing voice and slurred 'S's sounds were recognizable anywhere. He didn't have to lift his head to see who it was, though a soft smile formed on his lips all the same.
"Bismae!" Percy said, his tone dripping in his usual airy fairy charms. Percy didn't even have to say anything before Bismae had scooped the familiar out of his arms and in to her own. But just as Bismae grabbed the vespercat, Percy jolted slightly.
Ouch! he winced, Percy's hand clamping down on his upper arm where he felt a small cut. He glanced down to find a rip in his coat and frowned angrily. He had a cut that went in to his arm, but he didn't care much about the fact he was bleeding. His coat was ripped! Stupid vespercat ...
17 :Uh-oh, you've accidentally reached one of the roped-off areas. It looks tempting, but you'd better turn back! 8 :You look into a hole in the ruin wall, and pull out a small object! You may pick 1 trinket. 14 :You go down a corridor. Did you just hear something moving behind the wall? 12 :An adult chaperone has come to check on you. If you're injured, you are healed completely. If you're not injured, they remind you to eat your lunch. 17 : You hear incessant whispering in your ears. Is that someone calling your name? Are you being given instructions to do something? But you turn a corner, and the whispers stop.
Right, well, spiders really were...NOTHING to be scared of.
And he had to make a fool out of himself for nothing.
"Ahaha..aha...Sorry 'Tessa, I didn't mean...Yeah." He rubbed the back of his head before getting up to lean against the nearest wall. "Well, I mean...There's some people that are too scared of spiders to really make that kinda thing...work?" AJ loved pranks, he did, he loved making trouble. But his uncle was terrified of spiders, and AJ, jerk that he could be, didn't like scaring people so bad that they'd pass out.
Instead, he paused, a wandering hand finding a hole in the wall to pull out a cool arrowhead! But...something was weird. He could swear he hear something moving behind the wall. Sliding down, he pressed an ear to said wall to try and hear...
The whispers...There was whispering now. Not from behind the wall, but from all around. Needless to say, this, along with the spider scare, the overall atmosphere and him being a bit upset over his friend's camera...AJ was spooked.
"Tessa...? Can...we go back to the bus real fast? I wanna, um, get your camera somewhere safe." That was a lie, but he was sure Tessa wouldn't be able to tell...right?

17: You hear incessant whispering in your ears. Is that someone calling your name? Are you being given instructions to do something? But you turn a corner, and the whispers stop. 9: Feeling lucky today? You found a pile of old coins, but this time they're actually coins. You may pick 1 coin pile trinket.
Sprite, managing to sit up without much of a fuss despite a bruised nose now, sighed as their new familiars continued to be noisy in worry.
"I'm fine, I'm fine!" They insisted, though their left ankle was now throbbing almost continuously. "I've had worse...this just sucks."
Gathering up the smaller familiars in their arms, Sprite chuckled as the nezubat perched on one of their antlers, being careful as to where they stepped. It was a bit of a walk back to the main area where the group had started, but on the way...Well, it was odd.
Not only did they find a pile of coins, but...For a while, going down the corridor, they could swear they heard whispering. Instructions. Their ears strained to try and listen, and they kept walking, but as soon as they rounded the first corner back...it stopped.
Well. WELL. At least they'd gotten back to the entrance...
Bismae was coddling the Vesper Cat, tending to its wounds by pulling out a splint and some gauze from her back. She always carried a quick first aid kit for tending her familiars and situations like this were exactly why! Yet...she smelled blood. Not a lot, a little whiff of it, but the Vesper Cat wasn't bleeding.
She thought she felt Percy reaching for her hand, like the briefest brush of his fingers. But when she turned, he was standing a few feet off, quite preoccupied.
Bismae looked closer and caught sight of Percy fiddling with a cut in his jacket. "Did you get sscratched?" she asked, shifting the Vesper Cat in her arms. "Let'ss have a look..." She slithered closer, taking his upper arm in one firm hand and parting the fabric to have a better look. "Look at that, Ssybil, thiss iss what happenss when you go running off without your Mother," she nattered on to the Vesper Cat, as if they had been together for ages and had not just met in a cave in a desert. "You'll have to take your jacket off, Perccy," she continued, flicking her glance up at him. "You don't want to get blood on your clothess, now do you? It'll make it that much harder for me to mend it later if you do... Now, off with it, and let me patch you up too!"
To anyone watching, it might seem like Bismae was the older one, commanding her gaggle of children, rather than a Bakeneko her senior and a foundling Vesper Cat. But, that never stopped Bismae before, and it certainly wasn't going to today, no matter who might see.

6: Did you just feel a hand brush you? There's nobody there.
5. You feel something clinging to your back. It's a familiar!
Percy huffed a small sigh through his nose, and reluctantly started to unbutton his outer jacket without too much fuss, although his eyes were narrowed with agitation. He knew Bismae was right. That's what bothered him so much, and why Percy took so long unfastening his coat.
Once the last button was undone, Percy began to shrug his jacket off, then immediately froze up. Why was his jacket so heavy? Why hadn't he recognized the extra weight until now? Slowly, Percy turned his head to look over his shoulder, his eyes meeting with that of a coatls as he let out a small 'meep' of sound!
He wanted to tell Bismae to get the stupid thing off, or to just whip off his jacket and throw it down the corridor and run off in the other direction screaming, but Percy had more couth then that.
Instead, Percy lifted his head high and closed his eyes, trying not to squirm. Surely Bismae would notice the creature soon enough. No familiar ever went unnoticed by Bismae. Or so Percy hoped ...

"You're right, it does." Anu laughed, showing Su the stones she found. "There's one that looks like you, see?" Turning toward Aurora, she was about to ask the Grimm if they would like to team up with her and Su when she heard faint screaming. "Nobody move!" As swift as the wind, Anu whirled around and sped down the corridor, investigating the source of the distress call. Too tiny to be a student... unless it's a Freshling..? Peering all around her, she couldn't find who, or what, was making the racket until it practically fell on her head. Almost jumping out of her skin, she reached up and felt a tiny fuzzball clinging to her scalp, trembling.
With a sigh, knowing Saiya was not going to like this, Anu doubled back to rejoin the group with a new familiar. The Fennekit left off teasing the Spectrefox to dash over and jump around Anu's ankles, curious to see just what the latest addition to the group was. The Nezubat refused to give up its spot, making Anu look like she had a bat-hat.
5: You feel some kind of weight on your back. After further investigation, you find it's a familiar, clinging to you! You may pick 1 familiar.
With the rest of the group continuing to go further into the ruins, she decided to go along with them. She hadn't had much luck finding stuff, but then again for the most part she hadn't really been looking too well. As she went down one of the corridors, she felt her leg seemingly getting heavier, looking down to see a coatl that seemed to be holding onto her ankle. Awww! They were so cute! "Hello," she bent down and began to pet the familiar, the creature liking how soft her fur felt and slithering onto her arm, claiming them to be their new partner. It was a good thing Jacintha liked them too, glad to of made a friend ", Would you like to stay with me? I would be more than willing to let you stay."

Since neither of the potential beneficiaries of her first aid kit really needed it, Kanda debated pulling out the bandages anyway. After a moment or two in thought, during which she remained seated on the floor between all three of them, she decided she’d bandage them anyway. She was digging in her bag when she felt someone brush their hand against her hair, almost petting her. She looked up with a smile. She liked when her dad did it, but was pleased her new friends would do it too. Only, none of them were close enough to have touched her. And she hadn’t heard anyone move? Confused, she pulled out two band-aids, one bright pink with flowers, and the other orange with nezubats on it.
”Did anybody touch my hair?” she signed after applying both to her unresisting new friends. They had about point five seconds to realize she was going to put a band-aid on them before it was suddenly there. OK, only one of them would understand her sign. So she pulled out her notebook and scribbled down her question there as well.
Charmed Bag: snacks, water, notepads & pens/pencils, coloring book, crayons & colored pencils, pencil sharpener, change of clothes, jacket, music player (MellowD brand), headphones, phone, extra phone battery, small first aid kit, sunscreen, flashlight & headlamp, enchanted canteen, Tiger's Eye gem
The feeling of someone sliding something in his hand had a smile curling his lips before he even looked down, expecting to see Kanda. One of the others in their group was unlikely to do something like that, but he wouldn’t be surprised if she did it. The only problem was she wasn’t there. Stilling, Vüsala turned slowly around. There was nobody there. Nobody aside from the two in front of him.
The snap his wings made as he quickly expanded them and then pulled them in sounded painful. Aside from brushing the walls, he hadn’t felt anything around him. That was more unsettling. Seeing the small blue snake statue that had been slipped into his hand, he showed it to his companions before slipping it into his bag. He felt strangely reluctant to set it down when it had clearly been given to him.

His next deep breath was when he caught sight of one of the chaperones coming down the tunnel, looking for him. They looked him over, but didn’t find anything wrong with him. Then they reminded him to eat his lunch and went off to check on the next student. Cyril had mutely nodded, not wanting them to leave, but not wanting to ask them to stay.
He made it down another couple tunnels before he decided to stop and eat his lunch there. If his fingers trembled and he ate slower than normal, at least no one was there to watch it. By the time he’d finished his meal, he was feeling steadier. Maybe he’d just been too hungry and imagined things?

15: Aww, what a cute familiar! You pick it up in your arms, but it's making googly eyes at someone else. You may pick 1 familiar, but you must give it to someone else currently in the ruins by quoting them with the image of the familiar.
Walking back along the corridor, Nashira was petting her new familiar, trying to keep it calm. Something had frightened it, and she had to admit that things were a little scary in here...
Just ahead, she saw a lovely jackalope though. They were quite cute, and very fluffy. She liked them. She walked over to the green familiar. "Hello there. Are you lost?" She reached to pet it, but it didn't seem interested in her. The jackalope was staring at Nadinia. "...You must be shy." She slowly picked up the familiar an walked over to the dryad. "Nadi, this familiar seems very interested in you." She held the jackalope out, and it seemed very happy.
