Odessa finally stumbled out of the dark lit corridor, so she checked her pocket where she had put the stone. As she stared at it, she smiled, it was a tumbled tiger's eye, which definitely meant it wasn't native to the cave in the first place, someone had placed it there. So she put it back and continued on her way.

She started half studying the ground to make sure she didn't trip over another when she spotted something that looked like food? Why was someone eating in here? She followed the trail and was a bit surprised when it ended with a vespercat that was nibbling on someone's PB&J.

As Cass wandered around, he found himself in a well lit corridor that had definitely seen a lot of foot traffic. In fact, there were a few people there currently that were looking and moving on. He hardly paid any attention to them, his gaze instead on the pictographs that showed some sort of strange ritual. He shuddered, it definitely looked like something he didn't want to have any contact with. They could have only used it for bad things, right? The cat let out a small mew to let him know that it was bored. It was enough to bring him back to reality and start to move forward.

Coco was being swamped by familiars she felt something agaist her legs right before she found herself on the ground again with a Coatl cuddling up to her face a moment later. "Really I'm sure I would have seen you if you hadn't knocked me to the ground." Then Coco was surrounded by her little troupe of familiars. "Alright alright, I'll pet you all." She sat down petting all the familiars that had come to her, at this rate she would be able to gift familiars to Eilwen and Kingston without an issue. Coco took out her phone and took some pictures of her familiar hoard to send to them.

Seeing a small bag on the ground half berried in dust, Kayla Sue bends down to pick it up. "oh isn't some yummy chocolates." Smiling at the thought of the chocolate form earlier, Kayla Sue opens the bad and eats a couple of pieces.

Getting sidetracked yet again, Anu stopped in her tracks and looked around. Great. She'd gotten lost in her attempts to find Su... and then the stupid rock distracts her and now she's all turned around. Hearing Su calling her name, she doubled back at a trot, Saiya ever-present alongside her.

"Maybe we should team up... What with my lack of a sense of direction, and you being accident prone..." Anu said with a faint laugh as Saiya stared down the familiars that seemed to have "adopted" Su, coolly assessing them.

Having recovered from the spider Horus figured it was time to get out of that corridor, after all it had been dark for quite a while and there didn't seem to be any sort of light further in. He would just have to make sure to avoid the hole and watch out for any more bugs. Well that was the plan until he heard tinny footsteps coming towards them. What was lurking at the end of the tunnel. The archeologist had mentioned familiars hadn't they?

While Horus believed in ghosts, he knew he didn't have the ability to hear or see them so he didn't think it was some sort of apparition. It couldn't be some unknown monster since they had let the freshlings into the temple. Plus Horus couldn't outrun it in the dark. So he held the flashlight out like some sort of clubbing weapon, which was the position the vespercat found him when it stepped into the beam of light. There was a happy meow before it ran up to curl around his legs. Well he knew that gesture well enough. Guess he now owned a vespercat.

"Oh." He blinked when Leto explained how he knew the girl's name. "You know sign? Gee, that sounds like something I should take if they offer it at the school. It looks interesting. Uness you think you could teach me." He smiled at Leto with a laugh, not fully serious about it, but he wouldn't mind learning if Leto would show him, then he looked to Kanda when she tapped on his leg. "Yes?" He blinked when she plopped a bug into his hand. His face scrunched up and he did his best to keep it on his palm, and not climb up his arm. "My coatl? Why sure! Here, take your bug back a moment." He plopped the bug onto her book with a smirk before reaching up to touch the coatl around his shoulders. It hissed and shifted on his shoulders. "Hey, easy there." He scratched under the snake's chin before sliding it off his shoulders. "Play nice." He said before draping it over Kanda's shoulders. The coatl tasted the air around Kanda sliding over her shoulders and checking her out. "I think it likes you."

No sooner had he placed the coatl on her shoulders, Vega noticed something on the ground. It looked like a trail of crumbs. Before he could investigate, from the dark shadows came another familiar, it was as dark as he shadows. "Well hello!" It seemed he had another familiar.

"Kanda, does your dad not like flitterrats?" He was a little sad about that. "Do you have any familiars?"
