Nicolae wanted to go and hide. He must have been making such a fool of himself! He took a step back and turned, only to see a giant snake statue sticking it's tongue out at him. EVEN THE STATUE WAS MOCKING HIM!

Odessa did her best to carefully approach the feline familiar. She walked slowly toward it, holding out her hands so that the creature could sniff them. The familiar's eyes lifted from the sandwich and watched her warily before darting away passed the next corridor. She sighed, not sure if that one was tame enough to have a master. However, she continued to follow the direction it went, picking up the half eaten sandwich as she went, maybe she could lure it with the food? As she rounded the corner she noticed that the familiar was nowhere in sight, but there was another little polished stone.

It wasn't long until Kiessi found themself in a dark lit area. They weren't really sure why they'd allow students to wander in such a potentially dangerous area, but they were glad that they had brought their flashlight with them. They turned to access their backpack and rummaged around until they finally found the thing with the bottom of it off and the batteries scattered in their pack. They sighed and tried to find the items when they felt themself fall after a cat hit their legs. Luckily it had only startled more than hurt, though when they went back to scouring for the flashlight instead they found another polished stone.

Cass leaned down to scratch the cat behind the ears and smiled when the creature started purring. He leaned upward and started walking through the cavern again. His eyes were scanning the walls so much that he hardly noticed when he nearly tripped over something on the ground. He blinked and looked down to see a bag of coins. He mused, reaching down to pick it up. He noticed it wasn't as heavy as it should have been, so he reached in to grab one, finally realizing it was candy. He unwrapped one of them and put it in his mouth.
Enomu made a disgruntled sound at Vega's query and draped the vespercat across his shoulders where it lounged like a fur collar. "I'm Enomu." He said. "Pleased to meet you." His delivery was somewhat flat, but then that was pretty much how he spoke in general unless really feeling a strong emotion. He'd been told geists sometimes had this problem, or was it litches? Something to do with dulling of emotions.
He looked around as they explored, mostly because he didn't want to be startled, especially by unwelcome wildlife. A vespercat was fine, but who else knew what was down there? After all, a vespercat wasn't likely to be about unless there were prey. His new pet didn't seem interested in Vega's familiars however, so that was good at least. He stiffened in surprise when he felt something trying to use his leg like a tree and he looked down to see a coatl--similar in color to his vespercat--trying to climb him. "What in the Twelve?" He murmured before reaching down to pick up the reptile, which coiled around his arm tamely. What did this all mean?!

18: A familiar approaches you, sniffing curiously! You may pick 1 familiar.
Odessa carefully picked up the stone and put it away. She was still very curious as to where the vespercat went but it didn't take her long when the cat peered out from around the corner. She smiled gently and held out a tiny piece of food for it. The cat came closer, mewing softly as it nibbled at the scraps.
After the exchange, Odessa straightened and took a look at the chamber. The carvings had more winged Naga on them and though it was clearly carved at a different time than the last one she saw, they weren't all that different.

Kiessi was still searching the ground for the flashlight and it took longer than they thought it should, but, eventually, it was in their hand. They took a deep ragged breath and inserted the batteries a couple times before getting them into the right position and the light lit up the dark corridor. They let out another breath, glad that they weren't going to be in pitch darkness anymore. As they rose to their feet, they noticed something on the ground, a shiny.... bug? Well, that was kind of odd. They weren't sure they had ever seen a bug those colors before.

Cass was holding onto his bag of candy like a vice, he didn't want to lose it somewhere along the way, and he was sure that Brilla would like to have some if any made it passed the trip, though he wasn't sure that would happen, they were already starting to melt. He licked some of the chocolate off his fingers as he was following the path and it suddenly reached a dead end. He frowned, shaking his head as he started moving back the way he came. It seemed like a waste of time, but he couldn't go through walls!
With the bag of candy still in her hand, Kayla Sue starts to wonder the tunnels again. Looking around Kayla Sue see a pretty teal color on the ground in front of a painting. Reaching down to pick it up she find a pretty trinket rock that has topazy colors and teal colors. adding it to her collection in her pocket, she walks on to see what is around the next corner.

Aurora wasn't sure how she ended up near one of the roped off areas but she knew better than to go past it. So she turned around and headed back to find another direction to go to. She took her canteen out to take a drink and then went to look for a spot to sit down to have a snack. She turned to the doctor to ask a curious question "How do the familiars of the ruins find water?" She wondered since she had been thirsty and wondered if her familiars were too. Then she realized they had lived her a long time without her.
Coco found a hole in the ruin wall, she smiled and pulled out a pretty blue stone. She admired it and wondering if she could do a painting with the stones she had collected on this trip. Also familiars she could paint, painting based off the carvings she had seen. She giggled maybe she could make a painting of Kayla Sue and Aben. featuring them both spreading their wings and flying even though Kayla Sue didn't have real wings Coco could easily paint a pair on wings on Kayla Sue for a painting about the pair. They were sweet freshlings.
