 Name: Malis Delnaria Gender: Female Familiar: Zayll (Wolf) Children: Tai'jin and Zul'jin, Sen'jin, Kiua, RokhanLikes: Fighting, pillaging, plundering, looting, treasure hunting Dislikes: Water! prissiness, having her hair cut. Personality: Malis is a stubborn mare who loves to travel and is a shaman in her old village of Darkspear. Once a respected adult in her village, she left after a childhood friend came on to her a little strongly. After he ended up receiving the position she had been vying for she decide to seek her own fortune elsewhere. She came to the Kawani lands to learn about the soquili there and ended up staying put. Malis and Immi created the Willowglen Herd and they live in a clearing in the woods surrounded by willows. Malis is very wise though she chooses not to show it, preferring to act a little more dense so that others will explain things to her easier. She is a good listener and is one to go to for advice though she does have unusual ways to explain herself. Quite fun loving and very social, the troll mare enjoys to chat with other soquili to find out what makes them tic and learn new customs. However her more negative traits had been showing through with her nonacceptance of the newer additions to the family. She did not forgive Tai'jin from mating with a Kelpie and the resulting children did not bare much resemblance to the Horde. Zandali ran away after over hearing Malis and Tai'jin fight about her birth and Tai'jin left to go look for her shortly after. Malis had become greatly introverted and grouchy, even to the point at snapping at the rest of the herd. Where once, the others used to come to her for advice, they started to shy away in fear of her unpredictable reactions. This changed, however, when she tracked down Kifo once more and went on a journey with him. The result was a very heavy troll which prompted her return. She birthed three beautiful children, who she was very proud of. She dotes a lot on the elder son Sen'jin and her youngest son Rokkhan made her fiercely proud when the birth of their trollish kids extending the family line. With their birth she has become a little more softer around the edges and she looked to the south to where her other granddaughter had disappeared. Maybe one day she will go on a spirit journey of her own to bring back her granddaughter, now accepting her as part of the family. Recently Malis has been calming back down, accepting the new comers to the herd with open arms. She has become more interested in what makes others different instead of protecting her own lines. The tribe is known as the Darkspear Trolls however it is just a name and not a completely different race/species of Soquili. The kodos and crockalisks are actually just lizards and crocodiles and many of her customs are just that, customs. Her speech patterns and saying are cultural differances and do not promote anything special in her base character. She is a respected shaman in her tribe but in Soquili terms she is more like a spirit talker and can do minor spells. Malis has come to the Kawani herds to explore and find out about her northern cousins.

He is a bit of a mother's son and followed in her footsteps to become a shaman just like her. He does have trouble talking to the spirits as they don't listen as closely here as they did in her village but he hopes that one day he will be as good as his mother. He keeps his hair in dreads like Malis, sharing her belief that if he cut them he would loose his connection to the spirits. Whether that is true or not he does not wish to find out. Ysiel, the young hippogryph he grew up with, caught caught his eye but at first he was worried Malis would not approve. After an adventure in which a new member joined the herd and a kalona attacked she proved herself to be just as fierce as he was. He decided to court her, much to her enjoyment and now they travel together, exploring the world around the borders of the WillowGlen herd. She is bluntly honest and enjoys meeting people. Tai'jin does have a quick temper but it takes just as little time to cool down as it does to flare up. An adventurer at heart, Tai likes nothing more than to explore new places. While she has picked up a lot of Malis' speech patterns, the troll does speak proper kawani when she feels like it. She met a klepi named Icarus and fell in love with him and the ocean. This is not something that her mother is very happy about but she stood up to defend both him and her children after they were born. Like the trolls she is quite adept at healing but unlike them, she isn't very good at communing with the spirits. As a foal she was often taken over by the sheer drive that her niece, Tuuli, possessed which was quite discouraging when Malis started to focus upon the exuberant kalona-cross. Kepi would find other things to focus on when this happened and so did not pay attention as much as she should have. This is one of the reasons why she decided to go on a journey to see if she can find a new way of looking at life. Ewa'kepi has an affinity with animals though her companion hasn't shown itself yet. She does hope to find one soon which will help her choose her own path. The daughter was whisked away by the spirits but the son she kept and named Atal'rin, 'adored by the spirits'. He was quiet as a foal, finding his way around with an unusual sixth sense, his sight missing. Now grown, he is still more quiet than most and has a serene outlook on life.

Dislikes: Bugs, moon-less nights Personality: The black sheep, Saryen and his siblings are being closely watched as they are the offspring of a skinwalker who declared himself an enemy of the Vitterfolk. After Solemn attacked a member of the troll family, Malis confronted him and ousted him, rescuing Nox and taking away the foals. While she promised to raise them in a loving environment, she still watched over them carefully, taking a personal interest in what they learn. Saryen made fast friends with Irlina and they took lessons together, though she was much better than him at learning how to commune with the spirits. There was plans to train him specifically to hunt down skinwalkers in case the attacks continue however, Tuuli spread lies around and caused him to run away from the Vitterfolk as he thought he would become a danger to them. Haunted by demons in his sleep, the foal wanted nothing more than to be 'cured' of the desire to hurt others. While he journeyed Saryen learned that he could not be held accountable for his father's wrong-doings and turned back to help Malis and the herds fight against the skinwalkers, including his father. Upon his return, he found out that Irlina had left to find a way to break the hold Warlock had on her family and that Tuuli was the cause for her leaving. Determined to right all the wrongs he had caused by leaving and to protect his friend Irlina, he confronted Malis about what he had overheard Tuuli was doing. Malis turned on her great-granddaughter after verifying such actions and cast her out of the herd. Saryen has promised to learn how to become a Guardian and is currently training under Sen'jin.

Rather stubborn about anything, he is not one to change his mind. His favorite place to be is on the cliffs overlooking the valleys below. While he does enjoy company he prefers ones who are striking in some way. Kerid managed to intrigue him long enough for them to produce two beautiful children. While he is proud of his kids, Tempest doesn't have any desire to be a part of their growth, leaving that job for the mother to do. He now spends his time alone back up on the mountainside. That is until you get him talking, then it is hard to get him to stop. He is a little on the kooky side and has an odd sense of humor. He is quite stubborn and isn't the brightest tool in the shed and yet when he puts his mind to thinking he has moments of lightning brilliance. Voodoo came from the same village as Malis, his path crossing hers quite often. He once pursued for her hoof in mate-ship but one day she randomly disappeared. Out of sight, out of mind, he all but gave her up for lost until on day a young foal showed up who looked very familiar.  Nalak  Name: Nalak'sha Gender: Male Likes: Dislikes: Personality: Nalak comes from a northern tribe of trolls who hold an alliance with a herd of stone ulun'suti. There is regular 'cross-breeding' festivals between second siblings of the two herds to keep the alliance consistent and Nalak was one from such an event. As a cross-breed his duties were rather stringent growing up, much of it pertaining to learning the laws of the herds. After news came of more Ulun'suti herds 'waking up' and being seen more often he requested to leave the herd lands to see if he could strike an allegiance with one of them. It was during his journey that he met Voodoo and the Horde he was leading. Nalak'sha is currently traveling with this herd of trolls and learning about the Kawani lands so that he can bring the information back to his tribe. While she does not dislike him, the history between his mother and grandmother is well known within the Herd. A little foolish with a lack of common sense, Daakara gets himself into trouble quite a bit. This does not stop him from traveling and seeing the world, as long as he stays near the coast. Currently, he is traveling with Voodoo and is attempting to learn how to impress Malis. He hopes that if Voodoo manages to impress the troll matriarch and she found out that he helped, she will accept him as an equal member of the Vitterfolk herd.

A ragamuffin who had a 'devil-may-care' attitude who was a rogue and a gentleman (though if you called him a sweetheart to his face he'd deny ever mention of it) He has attitude in spadefuls and little respect for the stodgy and people who are bogged down in unnecessary traditions. He loves to shake other people's worlds and pull their legs. A joker exterior hides a much sweeter center of a foal who was left to take care of himself at an early age. This stallion grew up through pushing the envelope and trying new things. He loves to flirt but is also the type who was the 'bad boy' your mother always warned you about. As much as he enjoys making a pretty face smile, he will not be the type to hang around once she tries to claim him.
