Amirynth Rynn looked at the baskets shuddering lightly as she felt much lighter than she had in a long time. The mare had kept herself hidden from everyone until Malis had interupted her self ordained solitude. The elder took one look and then after a characteristic growl had fixed up the glade to be a little more comfortable. Still scared, Rynn was at least grateful to receive the aid. The fluttergeni closed her eyes, not sure what would happen next, trying to figure out how she was going to tell Javan. She had the feeling he would be delighted to find out he was a father once more but didn't want to think about what that meant she was. Amirynth squeezed her eyes even tighter, trying to push the images of that night clouded with the fumes of the potion. She still had no idea how she had come across it. It was her curse, bad things always happened around her, there was always distruction following in her wake... Malis' firm words pierced through her thoughts. Reminding her that not all occurances were bad.
"Rynn, ya be doing it again. Stop that! Ya be desturbin' t' babbies!" The large blue elder nudged one basket softly as if to test it's strength. She knew these foals were special, born of the effects of the love potion, concieved between two who had much power within. Malis knew about the potion that set the event in motion the moment she saw Rynn that night. It was too late to prevent but she had tried to council in hopes the damage would not be too great. Turning her attention back to the baskets she listened to the spirits, flicking her earsin consentration. "This one, a girl, she connected to t' spirits. Ah be keepin' close eye on her. They be callin' her Irlina." The troll nuzzled the youngest basket once more and nodded. "Welcome Irlina to t' Vitterfolk!" After greeting the third, the troll moved to the eldest basket. With a chuckle she announced, "There be a strong boy in here. He be a good protector for Javan's family. He shall go t' them and I be havin' a word wit'em." Malis had full intentions to speak to the small family. She had liked what she saw in them and wanted to let them know what had happened as they probably thought Rynn had clean vanished into thin air. "T' spirits be quiet about his name. Ah believe they be wantin' Javan t' be namin' him." She shook her head, her long, red dreads clinking softly before turning to the middle foal. "Anot'er girly!" She exclaimed, grinning toothily at the tired Rynn. "This one be strong also, but fragile too. T' spirits be callin' her Santiel an' warn he her path will be a hard one." The troll turned towards Amirynth and wrinkled her nose. The spirits had been very firm on that. It would be a hard time coming for all of them... Irlina felt the tightness of her basket and pushed up, finally getting enough leverage to push her way out. The small foal wobbled upon her legs before looking around with wide pale eyes. She noticed another winged one staring at her, long red hair partially covering her face as she watched over her babies. It was mother, Irlina knew that scent anywhere. She wiggled forward, almost falling over in her excitement to be out of the basket."She is s-s-so s-s-small..." Rynn gasped as she saw the smaller basket pop first, the little filly pushing her way out of the basket, unsure if she should help. The foal, Irlina the spirits had called her, started working her unsteady way towards her and the new mother stepped forward to shorten the distance. "H-h-hello Irlina..." she uttered softly. The filly kept putting one hoof in front of the other before suddenly stopping, wide eyed as she noticed something blue, and big, which smelled of musk and green herbs. She took a few steps backwards before falling onto her rump to the sound of rough laughter. The troll chuckled deeply, "Looks like she be a little unsure about mahself." Malis grinned toothily before taking a step back to give the foal some space. "There ya go, that better little one?"

She rolled, turning in the basket which contained her, it was becoming harder and harder to move, and soon she knew she'd have to break out of the confines of the basket which she had been protected within for the last few days. She pushed her nose to the baskets wall, she sniffed and snorted quickly afterwards to avoid inhaling small fragments of wicker. The scent that filled her nostrils was that of herbaceous plants, she could see the blades of greenery caressing the external walls of the basket, but beyond that there was that familiar scent of her mother, a constant perfume that was never far, ever protecting. The temperature was growing and she was relishing the idea of that cool scent of slightly dampened grass upon her skin rather than the dry wicker, but something kept her from breaking free; fear of the unknown.
She heard her mother's voice and she was filled with desire to look upon her mothers face. But then another known voice followed, it was totally different to her mother's but there was something about it which was oddly comforting, the accent was almost alien compared to the usual whisper of her mother's stammered words. She wanted to break free, and acknowledged with her mother close to by if she emerged from the basket and anything was about to be feared, she knew her mother would protect her.
With that she twisted in the confines of the basket she had nestled in for the last few days, getting her legs underneath her, she pushed her back up and against the roof of the basket. Freedom! The light was something she hadn't accounted for, having been sheltered from the suns full blaze during the day, it took her eyes a moment to acclimatise. She opened her eyes wider and wider to display dazzling emerald orbs, just like her mothers. She wobbled slightly as she grew use to the weight her legs supported in her upright position and looked about, her eyes met her mothers, and for a moment she focused on nothing else, a small smile playing on her face.

Rynn looked between her two new daughters amazed that she helped create such tiny things. She nickered softly, encouraging them to come closer. They were so alike and yet different in personality. Irlina, already showing her courage and headstrong tendencies, Santiel the more quiet and soft yet still with an inner strength. The flutter took a few more steps closer, closing the gap and nuzzling first one and then the other. "Welcome my d-d-daughters..." Amirynth glanced towards where Malis had been noticing the troll had slipped into the shadows for the moment. She knew that the troll would be back if there was any trouble but she appreciated the space.
Distracted from the large blue mare, Irlina nuzzled her mother happily before half hopping, half stumbling over to greet her sister. She was happy to be out and squeaked lightly before tilting her head to the side and finally uttering her first. "Mmmmam...mmmma...?" She wrinkled her nose and tried again. "M-m-mamma!" With a gleeful dace she nudges Santiel and wiggles her tail before tumbling down with another squeak.

What with Santiel's focus having been placed on her mother once emerging from her secure basket, she'd not seen the large blue female which was Malis, who had now stepped to one side, and as far was Santiel was concerned, not her first reason for distress as her sister came stumbling over to her, to nudge her in her side. Santiel was a delicate thing, and particularly in these first few moments of being, her legs where still getting use to baring her weight, and as her sister nudged her in her excitement and joy, Santiel struggled to keep her balance and thus ultimately ended up as a bundle of foal on the ground. She wiggled about to sit a little more comfortably having fallen slightly awkwardly, she stared at her sister briefly before looking up at her mother, her eyes widening and glazing slightly as tears threatened to tumble down her cheeks.
She perhaps wanted comforting by her mother, but she seemed a little more focused on her sister. She followed her mother's gaze to where Irlina had also stumbled and fallen, the event bothering her not at all, instead she was struggling with her first words. Santiel inhaled a deep breath, and strengthened her inner reserve; if her sister was able to tumble about and be okay, so must she be. She didn't concern herself with speech, her desire lay more with touch and feeling. She struggled to raise to herself up again and tentatively took a few steps towards her mother and lunged the last two paces to nuzzled the side of her head into her mothers upper leg. She smiled contently, and then paused to look at her sister.
She took a few steps towards Irlina and then stopped, swaying slightly, but now slightly better at managing the balancing act. She smiled at her sister, and then lunged to nuzzle her too.

Irlina giggled as her sister came up to nuzzle her. She nuzzled back, snorting softly as she blew warm air over Santiel. The filly felt excitement bubble up in her chest, she was free! Irlina could not stop moving, happy to feel the soft grass under her hooves and the cool breeze on her flank. She stumbled again in her excitement, hoof catching against a root that rose above the ground. Landing with a startled look upon her face she blinked a few times before reaching down to sniff at the grasses. As an afterthought she rolled onto her back, kicking her feet up into the air. With high giggles she rolled some more before pausing and looking up to her sister as if to say 'Join me.'
Rynn smiled sadly as she watched her daughters play in the grass reminded of her twin brother. They had grown closer than any pair could; he was always there to protect her or keep her company. The flutter had not seen her brother since she left the herd after looking for 'Zukii and sometimes still regretted her decision. She had not fit in with her family, her wings a reminder to her mothers infidelity, but it was still home and she had always held a small hope that she would do something to make her parents proud. However, everything Rynn tried to do seemed to end in trouble, this was her curse. She looked over her daughters and prayed to the spirits that her curse did not pass to them.
Trying to push those thoughts back she focused on her daughters and kneeled down in the grass to be closer to them. She did not know what to say so let them know she loved them through body language and gaze.

Santiel twisted her nose from right to left, slowly trying to itch away the odd sensation which was caused by Irlina snorting upon her. She then rolled her shoulders and then shook the odd sensation odd of her body; it wasn't unpleasant, but it bordered on tickling and one could not just stand still when such a feeling caught hold of the body. Her swaying subsided as she stood with a little more balance now, but she watched with an intrigued eye as Irlina jumped about, though she tripped not long into her parade and tumbled to the ground. Santiel shifted her weight forwards, as if to charge towards her sister and help her, but as quick as she feel down Irlina smiled, and giggled. Irlina's confidence filled Santiel and she wobbled and then took to leaps forwards and stomped her front to hooves down in the grass where her sister sat.
Irlina blinked and then with one swift motion she rolled and kicked her hooves upwards, wiggling about on her back in the long grass squealing happily. Santiel giggled softly, and jumped once and then caught Irlina's eyes. She paused a moment, twisted and looked back over her shoulder at her mother, whom was now laying a little more composed than Irlina in the long grass watching over them, an odd smile on her face. Santiel looked back at Irlina and then joined her sister on the ground. She positioned herself parallel to Irlina, though a little more restrained she rolled onto her back and let her hind legs roll slightly to one side and her front hooves to rest on her chest, she wiggled slightly, positioning her tiny wings underneath her more comfortably and stared up at the vast expanse of blue sky, watching contently as clouds passed over her head. She was content, save in the knowledge her bold sister was to her side and her loveing, watchful mother overlooked both of them.
