[Private Roleplay]Unesdala meets TawaliUnesdala & TawaliTuesday 25 JulyFin Tawali met his first Soquili since arriving in the Lands, and it just so happened to be another Wind, a Wind with his head in the Lake, not focusing on anything going on around him. Naturally, Tawali took the opportunity and scared the poor critter half out of his skin! Very amusing for Tawali, a very wet dousing for Unesdala! It was also Tawali's first encounter with something other then a Soquili, Unesdala's familar Bongo.

[Private Roleplay]Love and the MisunderstoodLovebeam & TawaliTuesday 25 JulyFin Tawali had to crash land in the forest, due to fatigue and the sun burning his ears, and met a rather elusive Soquili. Her name was Lovebeam, and to be honest, Tawali wasn't sure of her to begin with. She was very interested in learning from the forest, whereas Tawali was much more interested in the sky. She helped him back to the sky, though, which changed his opinion of her somewhat.

[Private Roleplay]The Misunderstood and the InsaneHalloween & TawaliTuesday 25 JulyFin Well!!! This feline Soquili certainly made a bad impression. Tawali made his first 'enemy', and he hadn't even done anything bad for it to occur! Its given him a very different view on the females that are around this Land at any rate...

[Open Roleplay]So We Meet AgainInali & TawaliSunday 03 SeptemberFin Tawali meets the Soquili Inali, who he mistook for Ever Sacrafice from up above. They had met before briefly, and it had ended in them drawing a race and Tawali being bullied by some of the other mares in the area, hence why Tawali was weary of her.

[Teepee Roleplay]An IntroductionKala'AyotliFriday 19 JanuaryOne-Off The weather had been a little rough, but that didn't bother the native, seated by his warm fire. His red blond hair shifted in the gentle breeze, plucked from its cofining band to waver in front of his eyes, eyes the grey of a wolf's. He looked predatory in image, sharp features that seemed little troubled by the cold wind and still drizzling rain. His camp was in the lee of a thick growth of tall sycamore trees, nestled safely from the worst of the elements. His fire was small, but enough to keep the cooking skin above it bubbling gently with its contents. Above the native, two brown squirrels quarrelled noisely, and to his left, a fox cleansed mud from its forepaws. It looked distinctly disgruntled, gold brown eyes glaring at the sky periodically as though to tell the rain to stop.
Kala'Ayotli was serene. You could tell, if you knew him well enough, from the slight relaxing of the muscles around his eyes, the hint of the natural 'smile' shape of his lips, most of the time of which were perpetually pulled into a scorning frown. His eyes were intent on the job at hand, keeping the rabbit meat broth from becoming too thick and stodgy. His bandaged feet were neatly crossed at the ankle and tucked tight to the log he was seated upon. His equally bandaged hands drummed a beat on the wood, perhaps the only thing to show 'Ayo was getting impatient. Hung on a nearby tree limb were 'Ayo's weapons, his bow and quiver of arrows, his whip and a sack of feathers and sturdy branch limbs and flint flakes that were ready for transforming into arrows to replace the ones lost or broken getting his measly dinner that evening. At the native's belt hung his weaponry knife, his cooking and skinning knives balanced precariously on the log next to him, in easy reach should they topple.
Taking a long, thin, sharpened stick from beside the fire, Kala'Ayotli stirred the bubbling substance in the cooking skin. Spearing a bit of meat, he brought it up to his face, taking a part of it between his teeth and ripping it apart easily. Just pink. Perfect. Lifting the forked sticks the cooking skin was strung between out of the ground, 'Ayo replaced it beside himself, chucking the piece of rabbit meat he'd tested at the grumpy fox. It sniffed at the food daintily and ate it, looking a little happier, trotting foreward to sit near'Ayo.
"Osda ageyutsa Gigagei'Tsula. Naquu, tla adanvsdi, da?" He murmured, standing and making a staying motion with his hand before stalking toward his teepee and rumaging just inside the entry flap. "Hatlv anega s?" 'Ayo growled before making a happy hum in the back of his throat and leaving the teepee with a spoon, made from river weed and a smooth, scoop shaped thin water slate and a bowl he had made from different wood, layered to make an interestingly pattered bowl. Seating himself again, he scooped some of the broth into the bowl and set it down for the fox. "Tla!" He growled when the fox slunk towards it, causing the animal to start and bare its teeth for a moment, before remembering its place within this family pack. "S udelega! Tla utsika osda." The fox appeared to respond to a few of the words and sat back from the bowl, watching the steam intently, licking its chops occasionally.
Kala'Ayotli nodded happily for a moment, going back to his own meal. He dipped the spoon once more blowing on the food to cool it before raising the meal to his lips and eatting. The fox gave a mournful whine before laying down, watching 'Ayo for some sort of sign. 'Ayo ate a few more spoonfuls before dipping his little finger into the fox's meal. He nodded once, and the fox pounced on the bowl, slurping and gulping down his free meal. Above, the squirrels chattered again, though 'Ayo had aready given them their share, his ritual of thanks for them giving him the right to live in the lee of their tree. Hanging further along the same tree was a woven grass sack which held a sliver of liver, the heart of one of the rabbits and also a number of small bones. His offering to his spirit guardian, the Mountain Lion, the only big predator that had hunted in his old Tribe lands of the mountainous north.
'Ayo and his companion continued to eat, though for the fox it was more a case of licking his bowl clean and then sitting to watch 'Ayo, in hope of getting a bit more for his troubles. Of course, he was usually successful, but this had been their first fresh meal in many days, having lived off of dried deer meat while the hunting was bad. The rabbits had been a gods send! Kala'Ayotli finished his meal, leaning back against the tree after emptying the last few scraps into the fox's meal bowl. The fox yapped happily and started licking again. 'Ayo sighed, a lot happier then before. With his stomach full, he could lean back and think. It had been a long time since he had had time to just think. Getting up, taking the spoon and skin, and eventually wrestling free the fox-licked clean bowl too, 'Ayo placed the utensils into a bucket of water that had been collecting from a flap of canvas from his teepee. Taking a pipe and some dried plant matter from his teepee, 'Ayo sat once more on his log by the fire. He packed the pipe and lit it with a smoldering twig from the fire and breathed deeply on the calming herbs. He felt his eyes grow a little heavy, though he knew he would be safe from harm with the fire, and the fox would alert him to any approach from predators.
Taking another deep breath, 'Ayo smirked to himself. Exile wasn't all that bad...
