This RP is open to anyone who'd like to get me back into the RP spirit where it concerns this wild child of a Soquili. If you'd like to RP, in your first post make sure you put the Soquili whom you are using's cert in, then post away!!! There is no limit to how many people can RP in here! ~:Setting:~To the north of the Soquili lands is a vast expanse of plain land that is just perfect for meeting new Soquili and simply running about like a mad horse! ~*~*~ Tawali was seriously bored. He'd disappeared for a few months, flying to a fro without much direction. Bored stiff and tired of being alone! He had been flying solo for so long, he couldn't remember the last time he had seen his friend Ever, or her similar friend Inali. There were others, like Sunbeam, Unes' and his pet Bongo, plus some that he didn't know all that well, but they were still others. His flights of freedom had only given him migrating birds as company, and it was hard to talk to them! To start, they didn't even understand what he was saying! They weren't very good conversationalists, and that was something Tawali missed more then anything. Conversation.
Tawali was gently gliding on updraughts caused by heat bouncing off of the broad sea of green beneath him. It was the northern plains, and was where he had last seen Ever. Tipping one of his red tipped wings, Tawali scythed through the updraughts, down down to the ground. His hooves alighted the soft, springy grass with little trouble. His hooves instantly felt the sprinkling of frost on the grass, and Tawali tutted. Ahhh winter. His feathered friends would all have migrated, 'cept for the red breast of course, he always remained, guarding his territory. Maybe Tawali should take a leaf out of that bird's book! Who had Ever meet in his disappearance? Did she still like him? What of Inali? She had made it obvious she had had a bit of a soft spot for him after their race where they'd drawn. Tawali knew it was a little to much to expect them to have waited for him. But he was grounded now. As if you accentuate his point, he tucked his red tipped wings close to his body, shaking out his blood red mane. The bright greeny blue feather behind his ear stuck out at an odd angle before it settled back again, the feathers in his tail wiggling a little in the breeze.
Flicking his braided tail, Tawali lowered his head and grazed. Well, so much for seeing other Soquili! They obviously all had somewhere better to hide themselves today!!! Feasting on the frosted grass, eatin his fill, Tawali attempted to think where they could have possibly all disappeared to.

Helaku was thundering across the plains, his long, bannerlike mane floating behind him, tail flagged in a show of high spirits. The feathers in his hair fluttered wildly in the wind of his passage, flashing coppery gold in the sunlight. He whinnied lightly and bucked with youthful exuberance. Life was good, he was young and alive and in love with a beautiful mare.

One cyan blue eye looked up at the sound of thundering hooves. The stallion causing the ruckus was one Tawali did not know, a dark grey and white beast with long dark tresses and a raccoon's tail. He was odd to view, his mask only over the eyes, and Tawali frowned as he raised his head. What a strange beast this stallion was... Behind his ear and attached to his tail were golden and coppery brown feathers. Tawali stepped forward, head low, watching at a safe distance, wondering what was up with the male.
Snorting once, Tawali suddenly burst into a speedy canter, wings snapping open, catching the wind the drifted past him and gliding over the ground, hooves just clipping the tall grass. He glided past the grey male, turning once he was a good distance away and circling back, looking at the stallion from all angles, green blue eyes assessiong, red banner of a mane flickering over his back, braided tail a snaking mass of blood red hair. His red tipped wings withdrew, folding neatly onto his back, dark hooves stretching out and touching down on the ground as he pranced around the male, long legs making short work of the distance between them. His tribal markings glimmered in the sunlight, an eerie incandence to the blue and black markings. The gold earring in his ear also glinted, the feathers on his dreamcatcher tickling Tawali's chest as he stopped in front of the male, a snort escaping his nostrils as he scented the male, turning his head a little so his unscarred eye had a better look at the stallion.
"Ahh, the welcomin' commity for the returnin'!" Tawali snorting his laughter and beared a grin. "An' here's me thinkin' it'd be a lovely young lady with all'a grace of an angel brought livin'!" Tawali whickered in amusement and winked languidly at the male before him. "Me dream's not come true yet, but one day, I'll see to it tha' it do. Tawali at your service, Grey Raccoon. An' you be who?"

(( *pokes Hyanth's PMs a bit* ))It had been a long fall for the copper mustang mare. She had not had many encounters with others since the leaves were first starting to fall. Now most littered the ground and made soundless ventures almost impossible. She had only run into another soul since Delphia. It had indeed been a very difficult season for Ever Sacrifice.
Most of the birds were behaving very strangely to her, flocking together like a great dark cloud and flying from one tree to another as she ambled about the forest just on the edge of the plains. Back on her lands, the birds never behaved so strangely. She had never even experienced winter.
Her entire body was fuzzed out, her coat having waves where her fur actually curled like wool. Her usual bright color was dulled down by the winter coat, but that wasn't the only thing dull now. As she stepped out into the plains, her eyes didn't have the sparkle they once held and there seemed to be exhaustion marked under them. She walked slowly, almost dragging her hooves across the ground.
She sighed mentally to herself and looked to the sky briefly, wondering if anyone she knew might be in the skies. When she brought her gaze back down, she saw him. Standing in the plains with a very strange stallion that seemed familar to her. It had been so long since she had last seen Tawali. She didn't know if things had changed between them, if he even cared where she had gone... She was standing as still as an old oak tree, unwavering even when the wind picked up and blew her scent in the direction of the two standing there. "Does he still care about me?"

Helaku pranced to a halt and chuckled good-naturedly at Tawali's jest, tossing his head. "Helaku's my name, sir...hmm?" His ears pricked and nostrils flared as a breeze blew the scent of an unfamiliar mare towards him. His head turning, amber-gold eyes assessed the mare standing nearby. "Good day, m'lady..." He dipped his head in an acknowledging nod. "Seems to be my day for meetings."

It had been a long time- so long that Inali doubted that Tawali was real- could he have been a figment of her imagination, something she made up in an effort to find a stallion who could challenge her suitably? But then... She saw him.
At first, Inali thought it was another construct of her mind- he couldn't be here, could he? But then he was there, truly there, in all his silly Tawali glory. Inali let out a happy whinney, galloping over to her friend, doubting he was really there still.
"Tawali! You've been gone so long... is it really you, or some shaman's trick?" She looked suspicious for a moment, then laughed, a pretty sound, like water in a creek. Moving to stand face to face with him, she blew gently in his nostrils, not caring if he wasn't paying attention to her- a greeting was a greeting. "Where have you been, you scamp?" She lipped his mane once, then calmed down. She was acting like a filly- not at all like a young lady! Then again, that was part of her charm.

Tawali smiled at Helaku's introduction and was about to reply when a familiar scent wafted past him on the breeze. Lifting his nose to it and scenting the smell excitedly, Tawali turned his gaze excitedly to the forest edge, spotting her not far off. Helaku was the first to respond to her, but she appeared to say nothing. Taking a few steps forward, he was suddenly confronted with a flash of silver white and deep red. Whatever it was also scented familar, and she barraged him with questions. Yeap, definately Inali in front of him. Stepping back a little, her face coming into focus and her silver eyes taking on recognition, Tawali beamed at her and listened to her quick questions, attempting to digest them and come up with a reasonable answer.
"A'course its me, ye dopey mare!!! 'Oo else was made as such'a fine specimen of'fa breed, eh?" He chuckled and pulled his mane from her nibbling lips, rolling his eyes at her antics. "Ah've been all over's lady!!! Ah've travelled with the winds and the birdies I 'ave! Got bored stiff though, not very good conversationalists them there birdies!!! Ah've the need for comp'ny these days, and Ah'll be damned if Ah leave you love'ly ladies with the other stallions again, no siree!!" Chuckling again, he stepped past Inali, lowering his head and whickering softly to Ever, still stood in the shadows of the forest canopy. He noted a saddness to her, and he longed to rush over and greet her.
"'Elaku, this'n be Inali!" Sinking his teeth into Inali's rump, he laughted deeply and happily. "That'n's for makin' me's fall over t'other month!" He nudged her with his head and nipped at her shoulders. He then motioned over to Ever, still as a statue, away from the small group. His voice softened. "An' she's Ever Sarafice." Bowing his head to Helaku and Inali, he trotted over slowly, pulling up a few feet from her. Her tiredness showed, as did a sad gleam to her icy blue eyes that made his insides twist and a cold lump settle in his stomach. Was she angry with him for disappearing? Was she upset because he had not told her? Surely she would understand a Wind's need to spread his wings? Hopefully...
"H'lo Ever... Are ye gonna welcome me back?"

Inali made a mock kick at Tawali's jaws, squealing as he bit her rump. "That's not very polite of you, you know," she said with mock severity, though her silver eyes were laughing. Tawali was back, with his queer way of talking and handsome wings! Her stomach gave a small thrill, though she would never tell him that. That would be... most unwise, to put it lightly.
"Hello Helaku. Or Eleku, depending on what this oaf means to say." Inali laughed again, noticing that Tawali seemed rather sad at the sight of Ever. She snorted, not wanting drama and sadness brought to this happy reunion, and rammed her shoulder into Tawali's. "Are you up for another race, or are the birds going to take you away again before I get the chance to spend some time with you?" Her silver eyes softened for a moment- was he going to vanish again? She understood his need to fly, understood the differences in the soquili breeds, but he could at least say goodbye... At least that.
"You don't have to worry about other stallions for me." Inali snorted again, looking momentarily bitter and somewhat disraught. "No, that you'll never have to worry about." After all, who would accept a mare who spoke her own mind, regardless of the circumstances, and very clearly liked to mark her prescence? They wanted quiet, polite, nice mares. The very idea disgusted Inali... But perhaps one day a stallion would appreciate her.
Or perhaps pigs would gain wings and horns before then. The latter seemed more likely to happen then the former.

Tawali made a loud 'oof' noise as Inali nearly knocked him off of his feet, flapping his wings to keep his balance. Although he was strong physically, his bones were still hollow which meant he was light, and that resulted in him appearing only half the strength of other Soquili, as he didn't have the weight behind his muscles to use like many of them did. No, he was built for flying and for speed. Casting a sad eye to Ever, as if to say 'we need to talk', his face changed instantly to the menace he was known for, scarred eye twinkling a little more then his other one.
"Ah 'ope Ah didn' jus' 'ear ye makin' fun'a me speech lady! That is a high disciplin'ry act, Ah'll 'ave ye know! Punishable by large bites to the behind!!" With a loud whicker, he dove at Inali, dancing around her and leaving a large bite mark to her hind quarters, racing off with a triumphant laugh. His hooves thundered on the ground as he picked up speed and raced behind Helaku, peering over his shoulders like a silly foal, cyan green eyes bright. His face held a smirk of triumph, and he slowly edged his way out from behind Helaku.
"Ahhh, Inali, my dear dear friend! Ye shall never beat me twice young lady!! First time was nowt bu' a fluke!!!" He chuckled and winked at her, sticking his tongue out at her in a childish manner.

Inali grinned at her silly friend, but found she had lost all appetite for racing and competition. Now she had even lost the appetite for bineg social... All gone, replaced by self pity and the realization that unless she changed herself drastically, she was doomed to a life of loneliness. She eyed Tawali, dearly wanting to take part in his game, before snorting once.
"I've changed my mind... Perhaps now isn't the best time for us to act like foals." Inali... refusing a race?! The world was coming to an end. "Would you mind too terribly if I left? I'll probably see you again, unless you leave again..." or unless I do, was the unspoken sentence. She had things to think about, and familiar faces... she didn't want to see them, not here, not now.
Flicking her silver tail once, Inali didn't even wait for an answer before moving off away from the others a bit, lowering her head to grace, finding she had no appetite for food either, and raising her head back up to the sky. Her kalona scar, almost gone by now, twinged slightly, as it was apt to do when she was unhappy.
Changes had to be made... Maybe if she became one of them... maybe, if she changed... then everything would be alright, everything would be fine in her life, and she could forget the mistakes she had made, the bravado she had exhibited at times, and her previous callous nature.
Right, as if that would ever work.

Tawali snorted indignantly, thoroughly confused now. Two sad mares? Frowning, he glanced at Helaku as though to say 'have you got any idea?' before standing torn between comforting Inali or Ever. Inali had been fine just now!! What had he said that could have upset Inali? She had been fine with his disappearance just then, but now she was skulking about it, as though he had wounded her deeply for not telling her. Screwing up his face in utter confusion and hurt, Tawali huffed a sigh of exasperation.
"Inali, ye get back 'ere and ye explain to me what's going on! Ye to Ever! Both of ye are lookin' like the world is cavin' in, but som'un forgot to tell the stallion!!! Will's ye both please smile!!! I didn' come home to see sad, disappoin'ed faces, I wanna see Inali and Ever as they was before I lef'! Now ye's both either tell's me wa's goin' on, or that's it, I'm flyin' outta here!" Tawali was stubborn, jaw set, eyes focused on the two mares, flicking between the two, waiting for one of them to make the first move.
As if to mke his threat more real, Tawali opened his wings and stretched them, preparing to take flight, the red tipped feathers fanning, a breeze twisting them a little as he set them back loosely. Just a few quick steps and he could be off. He hoped that neither of the mares would make him go through with his threat, he didn't want to take to the wing again, he wanted to enjoy this meeting with the two, and get to know Helaku, but at the rate this was going, he wasn't even going to get a 5 minute break from his flying.
"Well?"

"Wait! Please don't leave again! You can't leave... I like you!" Inali spoke purely out of reaction, bolting back to Tawali's side, before realizing what she said. Trying to cover her tracks now... but perhaps he'd be too clueless to understand. Hopefully he would be. Maybe he'd think she meant it just as a friend, though it was out in the open now, and there was nothing to be done about it.
Standing there awkwardly, and rather miserably, Inali lowered her gracefully dished head and tail, standing there like a defeated creature. Whoops. She had messed up now, said something she didn't mean to say, though she did at the same time. It would take quite a bit to get her to smile now.
Still... Inali had made the first move, as she always had done. Inali was a creature of action and intiative, and this waiting, this standing still, killed her on the inside. She couldn't just sit there and submit to the world, pretending everything was okay! "I'm sorry Tawali, I'm really sorry," she muttered, her voice barely audible. "I can leave now if you want. I'm sorry. I shouldn't have said that. I don't want to make your return more miserable because you have to deal with a pathetic sop of a mare like me fawning after you. I'm sorry." Her apologies wouldn't stop, flowed out like an endless river of remorse.

Nicole by birth was always an outsider. No one ever said they were proud, No parents, no nothing. She had a love struck sister who if was ever mentioned, well you can find that out. Her gold twirls shone brightly with the pride she had. Being independent sence she was born. Nobody to lean on besides for her friends. Nicole sighed as she walked in the dust of the lowering sun. She looked at it for a second trying to warm her lonelyness. Nothing, with everything that had happened before. Lightning becoming a skinwalker and all.
No one was there to listen to Nicole besides for Jazz but, sha hadn't seen Jazz in forever. Suddenly her ears purked up she senced tention and a bit of weirdness in the air. She followed it with her eye's closed and when she oped them, she was standing on a hill looking down, Below she saw Chaser and Tawali. Chaser was a good friend and Tawali was the stallion who called her powerpuff. Which she didn't mind. It was a joke...after he lost to her. She smiled gently and on that hill she was standing in pure sunlight.
What was last of the gleaming light was shinning on her, her twirls shinning brightly and her feathers ruffling in the breeze she remaind still watching to see what was going on. A smile as caring and warm as the sun was on her face. It had been a while sence she had seen friends and she missed her friends dearly...although she didn't think Tawali thoughed of her as a friend. She thoughed of everyone as a friend. Untill they proved her wrong. She stood emotionless besides for her ruffling feathers and dancing mane she stood watching.

She snorted loudly in that instant, as soon as the words had fled out of Inali's mouth, she screwed on a smile and pranced in place, trying her best to cover up all that had happened during the fall. Ever wasn't upset that he had left. Infact, there were other things that had caused this sudden dismal mood that she had not explained to another.
She trotted over to Helaku and dipped her head towards him. She didn't wish for him to feel left out. "You seem very familiar to me, sir. I've seen a female with the same markings as yourself." She raised a questioning brow to him before turning her icy gaze to Tawali.
No, the mare wasn't upset that he had been gone. "I'm sorry I could not offer you a warmer welcome. It was just a sudden change to have wandered upon you after I had experienced some foul deeds during the changing of the season. So much has happened, but I am not upset that you left. Just the other issues that have come into my life," she said, trailing off as if to not willing to talk about it. How could one talk about almost losing the one you said you'd protect? And because of your own foolishness?
She turned her head as not only one, but two mares came to join the group. She recognized the first one as Nicole. Their play on the beach seemed so long ago, but it was nice to see another familar face. She nickered loudly to the white and purple mare. "Nicole, it is good to see you." She turned her attention to the brown mare that she didn't recognize and dipped her head politely, "And it is a pleasure to meet you? I am Ever Sacrifice. What name do you go by?"
