Haldane, Super Senshi of DoubtHP: 75 - 6 from skeletons automatically, so 69. Location: Pillar 2 Action: Solving the puzzle of Pillar 2, APPARENTLY. Interaction Roll: Pillar 2, rolled a 6. Damage/Healing/Buff Done: n/a Haldane listened, taking in the information, though one would not have been able to tell if he was really comprehending anything. In fact it would not have been silly to think that at any moment a long reptilian tongue might pop out and lick his eyeball like a gecko, or something, as he stood with his dumb little smile on his handsome face. He recognized maybe one face here [ Tianyi!] but he might have seen a few at the big space snake thing earlier in the year. He didn't have names to put to those faces though. He was about to give Tianyi a wave when Things happened, and then there were skeletons (spooky scary fungus skeletons doot doot!) but there was also a puzzle! Oddly enough, he was good at puzzles. Like, actually really good. Well, when it wasn't word puzzles. So after skippy-bapping past the skeletons, he got close to one of the pillars, and gave it a look-over. "Ah, I think I got this one!" Bell would be so proud -sniff-

Character Name and journal link Eternal Solaris of CatalystsHP: 94 / 100 Location: B1 Action: Trying to solve Pillar 1 Interaction Roll: Attempted solve, rolled 1 fail Damage/Healing/Buff Done: N/A Another pull, and another answer. Solaris went willingly, and realizing who was behind the summon this time only made her excitement grow. Dagon? Immediately, she was thrilled and ready to go--sure, there was the reality of a fight by the sounds of things against more Chaos, and yes, that did mean there was a danger... but kicking it off of Dagon's world sounded like a perfect way to spend her time currently, threat or no. The fact she recognized more than a few faces had her grinning, steps light as she trotted over to one face in particular. "Ready for this?" Her words were light as she chirped to Ekstrom, grateful though that the knight was present. Someone she could trust in a fight. The magic did what it did best, and they all were brought from Earth to Dagon and... well. Yeah, they had a fight on their hands, but also needed to do a little bit of work first to move anything along. "...well that's kinda annoying," she mumbled, first checking to make sure if Ekstrom was with her or not before she bolted towards one of the pillars. Some of the strange fungi propelled skeletons made grabs at her, and she didn't appreciate the scratches, but her attempts to fiddle with the pillar uh... didn't seem to do anything as she alternated between it and trying to skirt away from the skeletons... Character Name and journal link Sailor BacchusHP: 50 Location: E5 Action: Punching Skeletons Interaction Roll: 6 Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 6 (Assume this happens after Tempesti's post because I didn't know what she wanted to do when I rolled) Why the ******** was it fungus? It shouldn’t be fungus. That was bullshit. Why was it fungus? Why the ******** did it have to be this bullshit? ********. ********. Bacchus stood rooted in place, staring numbly at the masses of bone charging toward them, barely aware of his surroundings as a bright blur put itself between him and his would-be assailants. Red and white, blue and gold, red. All against the thin grey of the fog that drifted around them. A sharp hiss drew him back to this unwelcome reality as he came to the slow realization that Tempesti had shielded him from this first wave of attackers. <********. We’re all getting infected. Did every world fall to this? Would every world fall to this? <********. He was faintly aware of his own body moving, fists swinging into the nearest skeletons until they collapsed into a sad, disgusting heap on the ground. Doubling over, the deep space senshi began to dry heave, the pain in his arm and hand all but detached from his mind, hanging by a thin red thread. We’re all going to die here. There’s no escape. No escape for any of us. He felt a small, merciful ellipsoid materialize from his subspace, swallowing it dry and hoping for the best.

Character Name and journal link Sailor TempestiHP: 88 Location: E5 Action: Hitting Skeletons Interaction Roll: 9 Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 9 (Assume this happens before Bacchus' post because I didn't know what she wanted to do before I rolled) Sailor Tempesti’s stomach turned at the sight of the oncoming skeletons. Dagon’s speech had done nothing to prepare her for the reality of the horrifying amalgams which descended upon them faster than she could react. Before she saw them she’d been more interested in the pillars, but these abominations required a more immediate response. Looking to Bacchus she was startled to see her friend completely unresponsive, standing dazed beside her despite the creatures bearing down on them. Dammit. Of course they had to be something pulled straight from his nightmares. Putting herself between the skeletons and the deep space senshi, a pained hiss escaped her as their gnarled limbs made contact with her bare arm and shoulder. “Bitter Blast!”To Tempesti’s relief the skeletons couldn’t stand up to her magic but she grimaced at the knowledge that there would be more.

Character Name and journal link Super Morgan of GatewaysHP: 69 / 75 Location: F4 Action: Attempting to solve Pillar 3 Interaction Roll: 5, failed solving the puzzle Damage/Healing/Buff Done: N/A Oh... This was a first. Showing up to the gathering was more of a step out of her comfort zone as it was, but to realize what they were doing, and.... these aliens weren't from the Vanguard. Slow inhale, slow exhale, things to process later and make inquires about later... She'd seen some info around about things she... definitely had missed in her long absence, but to realize she was joining a group helping a senshi from another world get rid of the Chaos there... it was easy to get stuck in her head if she didn't focus. So, she picked the first general distraction she could--a Chronos Squire and... another non-human senshi. "Not a typical Earth experience, no," she said a bit louder than the Squire had ( Regal), offering him a sympathetic smile as she came up somewhat beside the two (+ Lovas). "But still a good experience, I think." She didn't get much of a chance to introduce herself before their host spoke and then they were off, landing on a new world and Morgan very much just wanted to stop and stare and explore... but some skeletons were swiping at her, and torn as her uniform already was, she didn't appreciate the additions. "I'm Morgan," she offered finally once they reached one of the pillars, attempting to figure out... how to align the pillar properly... Quote: Morgan is open for interactions <3

Deep Space Sailor Lovas of FragilityHP: 50 - 6 = 44Location: E4 Action: Using Basic magic (Indirect damage) to eliminate all skeletons in squares: D3, D4, D5, E3, E4, E5, F3, F4, F5 (first die) [two uses left] Interaction Roll: N/A Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 10 + 1 = 11 If he had looked enthusiastic before, it was only amplified when they were joined by another Senshi, someone his fair Knight knew perhaps? ...No? Just a stranger, then. Wonderful! Especially wonderful since she seemed to be on Lovas' side in his little disagreement with Regal. "Well, I think we are hoping for a good experience, at least," he agreed with a fanged little smile. His own interactions with Chaos on his world were decidedly not good experiences, but if the goal was to be rid of it, and they succeeded, even if there were casualties... But Lovas felt confident no one would want to hear of him saying casualties were 'worth it' or 'good experiences' so long as the Chaos was expunged, so he kept that bit to himself. These Earth Senshi (probably) had a good idea of what they were dealing with, since their Evil just sort of lived alongside them like normal people. This one was expecting a 'good experience,' and she knew better than Lovas regarding this whole situation, as most people did! He'd only been on Earth for a few days, after all... And yet to not be on Earth again, even after such an inconsequential amount of time did feel... Mm. It felt a lot of ways and none of them were pleasant. The Senshi of this world was quick to dart away, leaving them with some sort of puzzle to solve and many, many fungus-skeletal-whatever bodies to face. Skeletal-whatevers who were quick to strike. Because of course they were. All Chaos could stand to do was damage everything it contacted. As someone who'd only been fighting Chaos manifestations for- oh- a thousand years or so (and who did not consider himself well-equipped to figure out any otherworldly puzzles), Lovas waved his Knight and the Senshi who'd joined them ahead. "I'll worry about these things, if you and whoever else want to try your hand at the pillar." There was just that one, tiny, maybe-problem of his magic behaving... strangely... But he was sure that wouldn't be relevant this time! Kaefaux Lovas Magic:Sailor Scout Attack -- Take care, or you might break something~ For thirty seconds, targets in a ten-foot radius around Lovas will believe that their bones are just a touch more fragile, thinking a stray step may risk a broken ankle, or a misswing could cause a broken wrist. Taking a hit may crack a rib. While the magic doesn’t cause any actual broken bones, the fear of it inspires caution and deliberate care. All sensations end when the magic does, but at player discretion, characters may take more damage than they usually would. Three uses.

Squire Regal of ChronosHP: 75 - 6 = 69Location: F4 Action: Puzzle solving pillar 3! Interaction Roll: 4 - He failed. =w= Damage/Healing/Buff Done: N/A Regal didn't usually meet someone by giving them the sort of withered stare he sent the girl that joined them. But he did already have his hands full of Lovas'... enthusiasm, and he definitely didn't need anyone exacerbating it by claiming this would be a good experience. He sighed softly, resigned. "We're just going to stay together," A tug on the fluttering end of Lovas' sash. "And try not to run into any situations we can't get out of..." Which was probably going to be impossible on some planet literally one person in the whole group knew anything about- And that one person scampered off ahead the second they arrived with just a bit of instruction for how they were supposed to proceed. But, ultimately... that was fine... They all knew why they'd come here... Lovas' did as he'd said and handled the Chaos that stood in their way, leaving Regal and Morgan nothing to do but... Try and figure out whatever this puzzle was and not actually getting anywhere with it. But at least he was in good company. "I'm Regal." With a little notch of his head toward his tussling Senshi companion, he added, "That's Lovas."

Character Name and journal link Cernunnos of FreedomHP: 50 - 6 = 44 Location: F4 Action: Arriving, getting attacked, running from the skeletons to try and get that stupid puzzle solved! Interaction Roll: Attempting to solve Pillar 3 - Failed! Damage/Healing/Buff Done: - He'd thought coming along on this little event would be an opportunity to see what another space sensei's world was like, get a feel for how his might be now, before he wound up his courage enough to go back to it. He'd thought with so many other people around who were so much stronger than him that he wouldn't really have to worry about any real danger...
But like many things since arriving on Earth, he'd been so, so wrong.
He'd been pulled out of the quiet park by the dark fountain and dropped into the middle of waking nightmare, surprised and terrified despite the blue fish lady's warnings about what to expect. Cernunnos had shrieked as two of the lumbering skeletons had lunged at him as soon as his feet touched the group, slamming into him so they fell in a rattling tumble of bones and the smell of something damp and decaying. The pale boy had fought himself free of them with an effort, sore and bruised from their flailing about, and had fled towards the pillars around the edge. Desperately, he slapped a hand to the stone as he cast about himself, hoping against hope it was something simple... but nothing in life really was simple.
"Gods DAMN IT." He panted as he retreated to put the pillar between himself and the skeletons, trying to stifling his shaking and shove down his fear. They just had to get the magic off the basin, right? And get the fish lady into her temple... Gods, he wished he hadn't volunteered for his. It was hard to imagine doing anything stupider than that.

Which was why when he listened to the blue Eternal explain the situation, he blanched a bit, but didn't back out immediately... and then when they got to the world, which was amazing and he really wanted to look around a bunch... uh. Skeletons. Skeletons with fungi on them. Were attacking. Yeah he screamed, and then immediately ran after at least two familiar faces he spotted. Even if he didn't say anything to Solaris or Ekstrom, he was still at least preferring to stay near people he at least semi-knew.... and people who were a lot stronger than him... Blarney, Squire of EarthHP: 69/75 since skeletons Location: E4 Action: ACK SKELLIES (Wall of Nope) Interaction Roll: n/a Damage/Healing/Buff Done: Sprouts a wall to protect everyone within up to 10 feet of Blarney ( clicky to see if ur chara is covered! Blarney was straight up having a bad time. He, stupidly, had mentioned the invitation to Madeline, and told her that he was going to another help-out-on-an-alien-planet adventure, and unsurprisingly, she did not take it well, not after the last time had resulted in the whole...near-death by glowing robot thing. He couldn't blame her for being upset, but they'd still had a whole fight about it anyway. She'd tried to get him to stay behind, he'd obstinately refused. So, they had 'compromised' - Madeline had insisted on coming with him. He wasn't happy about it, she wasn't happy about it - nobody was happy about it. He didn't want her to get dead, or even lightly hurt, and she didn't want to be there at all, but she didn't want Mason to get dead or hurt more than she wanted to stay home. And so Madeline - Edam - visited her third planet (!), and Blarney immediately freaked out about it. "Woah nope!" Blarney yelped as skeletons lunged at the two of them. He squeezed tight on his shillelagh as he jumped away from them, and just like last time he'd been afraid for his sister's safety, a huge wall sprung out of absolutely nowhere. It didn't stop the skeletons that were already around them, unfortunately, but - Blarney realized belatedly that there were a lot of other people gathered around a bunch of pillars; if there were instructions about them, he'd missed them. But at least his wall was protecting some of those people, too, not just his sister; he could totally pretend he'd done it on purpose. He at least could keep any more skeletons from appearing from elsewhere and attacking the people who were working on the pillar, right? Even if only for a few seconds? That had to be helpful a little bit? Man, at least when he'd gone to Tempesti there had been, like - some warning! The bad guys had been contained somewhere, not just - out here wandering! And they also hadn't been freaking skeletons! How were these things animated? Had these skeletons been alive once upon a time? Living...if not humans, denizens of this place? What had brought them back to 'life' and made them mean? "Everybody okay over here?" Blarney called to the nearest group ( Morgan, Regal, Cernnunos), though he kept his eyes on his sister at all times. "Edam, wait. What are you-- hey! Don't! You don't know what could happen if you get it wrong-- hey!" Of course, his sister did not listen to him. Did she ever listen to him, about anything? No, she did not. Why should Edam and Blarney be any different than Mason and Madeline? He didn't even know why he expected anything different. Blarney rolled his eyes and gritted his teeth, turning his back from his sister and the others, ready to take out his frustration on any skellies that came too close. Edam, Page of CybeleHP: 44/50 since skeletons Location: F4 Action: Trying to solve Pillar 3 - SUCCESSFULLY! Interaction Roll: n/a Damage/Healing/Buff Done: n/a Unlike her brother, Edam had listened to the instructions. Sure, she'd been - slightly alarmed - by the appearance of self-animated skeletons, but...well, nothing about this magical experience had been anything resembling normal, so why wouldn't there be skeletons. So, the part of Madeline that would have freaked out about literal skeletons was tucked away, and Edam was allowed to take over, for a little while. Blarney was blustering and freaking out, but - he was capable of protecting her, she trusted that implicitly and entirely above all else, with magic or with his stick or with sheer brotherly force of will - which freed her up to try and solve other problems. Namely, this pillar situation. "I'm Edam of Cybele," she announced to the group gathered near the pillar, using her new name without hesitation for the first time. "Mind if I have a look?" Edam squinted at the pillar, then at the other pillars - the ones she could see, anyway, that weren't hidden from her view by Blarney's wall. One of them, at least, looked to be figured out - if one could be sorted that quickly, there was no reason this one couldn't. Edam stared it for another few minutes, fidgeted with it here and there, and then nodded satisfactorily. "There," she said, resting her hands on her hips with a pleased grin. "Is that what we were aiming for?" She knew that it was, as it looked very similar to the other one that had been successfully resolved. Two out of three pillars down. Edam turned to look back at her brother, who was tensed up, facing away from her, stick rasied in what she thought he believed to be a threatening manner. She somehow did not think the skeletons - being that they didn't have eyes - would be very intimidated. "Blarney! Drop your wall!" Edam ordered, glancing around at the area around the pillar - surely there were some little pebbles that had fallen off the pillar that she could use as ammunition. Blarney, possibly more out of surprise than anything, obeyed his sister's decisive command, though he looked back at her with a pure ??? expression on his face. "We need to be able to get to the other pillar!" Thank goodness she was here, honestly, or else these people would be stuck in a dome of skeleton-filled fog forever, probably. "Okay, two down, one to go," Edam said, eyes set on the pillar. "Can any of you take care of these skeletons and clear the path over there?" She was sure she could attack them, probably even at a distance - she had been, reluctantly, practicing with her slingshot - but... She was in no hurry to tussle with a skeleton, regardless of where they came from. They didn't have muscles, which was where human strength came from, but - she was not in a hurry to find out what magical gifts they had been bestowed with, in addition to the ambulism they now possessed. Really, what was so scary about skeletons? They all had them, just inside their skin and muscles. Yes, her brain sort of rejected the very idea of seeing that many bones, clicking and moving as they were, but - well, she watched TV. Compared to The Walking Dead, this was nothing. (As long as she didn't think about the fact that this wasn't a TV show and was instead real life. Then it was totally fine.) Quote: When Blarney channels his magic, he raises his shillelagh and the piece of stone glows with faint golden light. Tree roots erupt from the ground to create a wall of branches ten feet high that dome over the area below. As the roots grow, they will repel anyone Blarney perceives as acting without virtue. The wall encircles a ten foot radius around Blarney and will protect himself and his allies. As long as Blarney and the allies within his shield are acting with honor, the shield will be able to repel all magic and physical attacks from enemies his rank or below. It will somewhat protect against third stage attacks but they will quickly wear away at the shield; magic attacks will pass through at partial strength and third stage weapons can destroy the shield with little effort. It cannot protect against fourth stage magic. If Blarney at any point behaves without virtue or honor while channeling, the shield will fail. He can channel the magic for up to 45 seconds. Kua'kua of HelleboreHP: 44/50 bc skellies Location: D4 Action: Fite skellies Interaction Roll: N/A Damage/Healing/Buff Done: 10+6 = 16 Kua'kua had decided, in the wake of assisting Tempesti, that if she were physically able, she would always answer a call for help on someone's homeworld. It was the very least she could do, and it felt - it felt better than she could put into English words to see that a planet could be saved. She had felt so - helpless and hopeless on her own homeworld, for so long, she ahd scarcely believed that a world could be saved. To see that such a thing was possible, to be surrounded by powered people, all united together... So, she had decided that she would always, always answer the call, if she were physically able of doing so. Regardless of what might be waiting on the other side. ...Even if what was waiting on the other side was...skeletons. It reminded her, viscerally, of Kua'kua the planet. Except there, instead of being merely bones, it had been flesh that was warped and empty and horrifying. So it was like Kua'kua, if the thing that had made Kua'kua truly terrifying - the image of friends and family but desiccated and wrong. In a way, skeletons were almost...better? Probably not for the person whose homeworld this was, though. Kua'kua refocused and pointed her finger at the nearest gaggle of skeletons. This time, though, she remembered to warn the nearby fighters before she cast. "Everyone, hold your breath!" Kua'kua called, then shouted, " Petal Perfume!" Kua'kua blew on her palm, and illusory petals exploded out from her hand in a 10-foot radius. Skeletons presumably did not have lungs or internal organs - but the robots hadn't either, she was fairly sure, and it had worked well enough on them. Sure enough, all of the skeletons that came in contact with her petals immediately collapsed into bony heaps, and Kua'kua couldn't help the smirk on her face. Could she save her homeworld? No. Not now, maybe not ever. But she could do this, and this--this was years, worlds, lightyears better than doing nothing. This was barely in the same galaxy as sitting, alone, surrounded by dead Kuanians she had failed to save. That felt like it had happened to a different person, except for the nightmares that haunted her still, reminding her that no, it had been her, as different as her life was now - she had still come from that place, and still would need to return. Someday. Maybe. Kua'kua took a moment to glance around, and her smile widened. She recognized several familiar faces, which gave her a reassuring sort of pang in her heart. Grieve, of course, noticeable in any crowd, anywhere; and Joy, whose tournament she had attended. A couple of others she had seen fighting and figuring out the puzzles on Tempesti. It reassured her - she hadn't ever thought that she would have the feeling of familiarity again, because in her heart of hearts, she hadn't ever thought that she would be around people again. She had never, ever, been happier to be proved wrong. Quote: 1/3 Sailor Kua'kua calls her attack and blows on her palm, causing illusory petals of the hellebore plant to shoot out within 10 feet. Enemies who inhale their fragrance will experience delirium and nausea. Targets may feel disoriented, have difficulties concentrating, or feel forgetful. This attack lasts for 30 seconds, and may be used three times. Players can choose to take lasting damage or have effects linger. Quote: Anyone in a 10 ft range of Kua'kua had their skeletons get dead. She's open for interactions!!

Ekstrom of MercuryHP: 94/100 Location: B4 Action: Trying to solve Pillar 1 Interaction Roll: 4, failed Damage/Healing/Buff Done: N/A Ekstrom glanced sideward toward the familiar voice and found herself smiling and relaxing just a smidge when she spotted Solaris, though before she could respond the senshi who had called for their help began to speak and they were soon whisked away to their homeworld. "About as ready as I can be, I guess," she said as soon as she felt herself on solid ground again. Eyeing their surroundings, she was less than thrilled at the prospect of a fight with puppeted skeletons, but she brandished her shield as she followed after Solaris and did her best to dodge out of the way of any oncoming attacks. She might have tried to summon her forcefield if she thought it might do any good, but it was more or less useless against anything physical. The result of her efforts were minor scratches here and there, nothing too severe but she curled her lip at the skeletons all the same. She tried her hand at the pillar after Solaris, frowned when nothing happened, and turned to the senshi after ducking out of the way of a bony hand trying to rake at her face. "You solve, I shield?" she offered, wondering if it might be better to split their focus. "Or I solve, you demolish?"
