Pink Lemonade, being the smart businessfilly she was, came over to his house to sample some foods and decided to strike up a business deal. When they became Old Enough, they (and their siblings) decided to open up a bar/lounge called Cloud 9. Pink Lemonade had a crisis of faith briefly, Midnight voiced his faith in her. They worked together and he was sweet and totally understanding of Pink Lemonade's flirtatious nature and how Everyphony Wants To Get Widdat, and she decided she liked the cut of his jib. They got together and now Candy Cane hints for grandchildren at every available opportunity. (They may have dodged a bullet last Halloween...)
Relationship Summary: Born at the same time in the colder months of the year, the two foals connected shortly after the new year when everyone began to shake off packages. Not long after, Aurora grew up and was recruited into a band called Darkhope, and left Phonyland for the worlds beyond. Pale Moonlight continued to grow up in Phonyland with his family and making friends. After Darkhope's freshman album dropped, Aurora returned to Phonyland while working on the next album as she was deeply homesick. Pale and Aurora ran into each other again and the two, now adults, reconnected instantly and have been glued to the hip since. They now both work together professionally with Darkhope and have been having a quiet, low key relationship over the music they're making together.

He has a strong desire to study lore about supernatural creatures, and she likes reading about supernatural hotties in steamy novels. Neither of them said anything right away, and instead were both going to go on pining from afar, never knowing the other was interested. Mooncake's "frenenemy", Truths, stepped in and made him go and visit Lemure at work and fess up about his feelings. Lemure squee'd in fangirl delight, and showed that the feeling was mutual. Now they are dating, and spend most of their time being the cutest thing ever.

EASTER WEDDING RESULTS So we added up the tickets, factored in the priority multiplier, rolled on random.org, and ended up with Pale Moonlight and Aurora Light! Which works, since that was the first couple to ask about a wedding out of everyone, whether in the raffle or not, from mid-last year, anyway, so if we hadn't switched to City Hall, we'd already be gearing up for their Easter wedding! As it is, the rest of the couples who entered will now get extra tickets in the Summer ballot for this round's attempt. Thanks for your applications! We'll see you again come summer, and feel free to bulk up your RPs in the meantime! ;D

Re: the wedding ballots - yeah, like stated, we're rolling privately. Essentially, each application is a base 'ticket', then we add tickets to each base ticket based on factors like RP, past couple-activity, and past weddings per owner. The first year we also factor in a priority multiplier for the couples we've been previously contacted about. When the ticket list is worked out to our satisfaction, I roll on random.org. Believe it or not, most of these couples aren't even the couples we were contacted about - although a lot of them have half the same people involved. (To make it clear, the people aren't getting the priority bonus, the couples are.)

HALLOWEEN WEDDING RESULTS WOW the ballot was neck-and-neck this time - the ticket count wasn't far apart, and the roll landed on the margin, ending up with Lemure of Love Lost and Mooncake! How thematically Halloween. The other couple who entered wll now get an extra ticket in the Christmas ballot for this round's attempt (if indeed anyone else actually runs against them XD).
