{Transcription of In-Thread RP; Dec 25, 2013} North: S-Starlight! o/////////////////o You are looking very beautiful today! North: o-ollll Star? Starlight: Hello North! Didn't see you there for a moment. North: ^^;; My Apologies Star! Being blue in the night is an automatic camouflage! Especially since I do not possess your twinkling eyes. >//////> Starlight: No need for apologies, it's a silly thing to make sorry over your own coat color. What you could apologize for is not coming out here sooner. The stars are out and lovely tonight. North: >///A///>;;; *his flirting fell flat? Oh no!* ... Y-Yes! *looks at the stars* ouo They are really bright tonight! And the night is quiet and calm. ^^ *walks up and stand beside Starlight. Steals a glance* (WE'RE DOING IT, WE'RE MAKING IT HAPPEN!)

Starlight: A good, calm night is the best kind of night. No clouds and bright stars, good for sitting and enjoying. *She bumps her shoulder into North's.* Good for enjoying some fine company, too.

Luafien Starlight: A good, calm night is the best kind of night. No clouds and bright stars, good for sitting and enjoying. *She bumps her shoulder into North's.* Good for enjoying some fine company, too. North: *grins the happy grin of a stallion in love* I-I'll say. *realizes that he should probably say something more as well* I love you.
You have captured my heart.
You are the guiding star that guides me home
You light up my life ...... North: *is at a lost for cheesy pickup lines*

*In her amusement, Starlight lets North off easy as he fails to find something to say. Besides, she was quite content to simply lean against Due North as they watched the stars.* You know, you're rather good for leaning on.

A visible blush crept over the blue phony's features as the long haired beauty leaned against him. Grinning dizzily, North quickly rummaged through a small satchel he had brought a long. Taking out an apple, North offers it to her. "A dainty nibble for the dainty lady?"

The unicorn held her head aloft, eyes cooly scanning over the apple before a while-blue glow encompassed it, Starlight's magic accepting the apple for her. "Flattery will get you everywhere. So will snacks." At least in Phonyland it will, everyone and their grans had some sort of food-related life destiny. Starlight's cool gaze shifted to amused, the unicorn taking a bite out of the crisp-skinned apple.

North chuckled. "What can I say? We ponies love our food. Err...since you approved of my flattery, I wonder...," said North as he tried to sound confident. "Would you...approve of ummm....a proposal of sorts?"
...
Dang, that sounded horrible!
North had wanted to WOW her off her hooves, to have her swoon with ecstasy, to make this a special night.
He hadn't counted on himself acting like an excitable colt with his first Valentine's card.

Due North, as far as Starlight was concerned, was an excitable colt with his first Valentine's card. She's though that since the first time he sort-of shooed sweet little Chocolate Malt out of the way so he could not-so-subtly attempt to woo her. That had been a very amusing time of her life, so was this. Even if she expected this for quite a few spin of the stars, Starlight still felt the tinkling rush of excitement as the stallion spoke. "I think I likely would." The mare tilted her head to face Due North.

North couldn't help it. He could feel a huge goofy grin beginning to grow. And grew it did. Larger and larger and larger until finally... "P-Pardon me for a moment Starlight," North stammered as he drummed his hooves on the ground. Then, unable to stop himself, the blue stallion reared up, bucked, pranced and ran circles to around Starlight in utter utter delight. When that was over, North galloped over to the top of a nearby hill to whinny triumphantly. "SHE SAID YES!!!" Apparently North didn't care if the rest of Phonyland was asleep. What mattered was that Starliight had agreed! SHE HAD AGREED!!! Adrenaline finally spent, the stallion trotted sheepishly back to his mare. "Sorry...,"

Well Starlight isn't exactly sure what she expected out of Due North, but this was better than all the half-formed thoughts. Gentle laughter chased after the stallion as he ran about like a colt given his first kiss, even a few not-so-graceful snorts of amusement as he conquered a hilltop to whinny in triumph. "You're going to wake everyone up-" most assuredly fell on deaf ears, probably a good thing since Starlight was laughing hard enough that her words made very little sense. The mare picked herself up as Due North finally came back down to earth, leaning in to nuzzle her cheek to the stallion's. "Nonsense, I wouldn't have you be any other way, so keep your apologies to yourself, my dear."

"I'll try to keep that in mind, Star," said North with his grin still plastered all over his face.
At this very moment none of the stars above could match the radiance of the mare before him.
"Gosh you are beautiful Starlight," breathed the stallion as Starlight nuzzled him.
"I'll challenge anypony who says otherwise,"

The mare couldn't help a smile in return to Due North's wide grin, pulling back to give him a skeptical, though amused look.
"Oh you would, would you? I suppose that makes you my champion. My handsome, goofy champion." The mare chuckled as she turned back towards their little picnic, blanket rumpled gaining a blue glow as Starlight lifted it, fabric folding mid-air.
"So is my champion going to walk me home?" She glanced over her shoulder, smile turned mischievous, "Lots of things to plan now."

"O-Of course I am!" said North as he trotted alongside the petite mare.
"It isn't safe walking home alone at this hour," (despite the fact that Phonyland had some pretty good security features).
"But plan?" asked North, his expression quizzical. "What plans? Another date? I know this lovely lake in the mountains....,"

The mare paused, glancing back at the bigger stallion. She had assumed that Due North meant proposal like she had assumed he meant proposal. Right?
"Well, North, weddings don't exactly grow on trees." Her words were a little hesitant, crystalline eyes scanning him for some sign of panic.
"Or... was that not what your 'proposal' was for?" Oh dear, that would be a mishap, wouldn't it? Though she thought not, Due North had been very ecstatic, she doubted ti could be anything but an offer of marriage.

"Oh!"
....
"OH!!!!!" said North as the weight of Starlight's words sunk in. Honestly, the blue stallion had been so worked up over the proposal that...he hadn't really thought about the planning after.
"Yes! Of course! We'll need to plan lots and lots!" said the stallion as he hurried after the mare. "Let's start tonight!"
...
"Umm...do I leave the marriage planning and decisions to you?" asked the stallion tentatively after a moment's thought. He had heard that mares could get touchy if a stallion were to step into their turf. Especially on wedding plans.
