Introduction Solo The Darkest of Nights
"Oh, Oblivion..." His mother's voice was soft and sad. "You don't have to go..." She pleaded quietly, nuzzling him against the neck. The crow Drakein was suddenly surprised at how much bigger than his mother he was. It seemed like only yesterday he was staring up at her with his wide, glowing orbs. But now... He was an adult. It was time for him to forge his own path. And maybe once he left, his clan mates would be just a smidgeon kinder to his parents. His mother was convinced she could fend for herself (and that was definitely true), but she still had feelings. And having everyone give her the cold shoulder every day... Well, it must be hard.
"Now, now, dear. I think Levi would enjoy an adventure away from home. I'm sure he'll come back soon." The crow's red orbs shifted over to his father, in time to receive a cheerfully friendly shoulder nudge. He knew he couldn't rebuke his old man's words, but he figured the longer he was away, the better it would be for them... But Coarvale was very soft-hearted and forgave everything easily. Sometimes, Levi wondered if his father even knew of his clan mates distaste for his family. Levi could only sigh.
"Yes, I'll return soon." He promised. His mother sent him a skeptical look, and Oblivion shrugged sheepishly. She knew. He was sure of it. He gave Derilae one final loving nudge. She stepped back to stand at her mate's side as Oblivion spread his wings. He kicked off hard from the ground, jettisoning himself into the black sky and beating his wings a few times to rise higher and higher. His dark body practically blended into the midnight colored sky. And Oblivion had to admit... it even mirrored his emotions. He'd never been without his mum and dad for more than a few hours... He knew he could count on them for anything, and that they were always there if he needed either of them.
But what about now? Now he was setting off into the great beyond all on his own... He'd never even left Soudul before... He'd never needed to. The worst part of it was that he was going to be alone. Who knew for how long. His mum and dad had loved, cherished and praised him, and now he was going off alone. If the outside world was anything like the rest of his clan, then he already knew he would hate it. But he had to go nonetheless. For his parents sake and his own. Maybe if he gained enough recognition (and how could he not? He was dashing, beautiful, and soon to be one of the most powerful Drakein!), his clan would have some respect for his mum and dad!
But where should he go? Where had the most potential to prove himself? Soudul and Serenia both had plenty of two-leggers to spread his story, but overall, they seemed like boring places. Neither Ayr nor Aisko were populated enough for his enjoyment. So, of all the places he was physically capable of going... That just left Eowyn! Mountains, and the desert, it was like nowhere he'd been before! It was his best bet. To Eowyn! Results: Sets off on a new adventure. Words: 541

Levi SaysAdventure with Samael in Cave of Dragons - Done!
Levi is ready to get out into the world and show his clan how powerful he truly is. Maybe then he won't be such a burden on his mum and dad... What better way to prove his prowess than with the Cave of Dragons? But it seems a pretty powerful Gaili has already beaten him to it...
So, I wasn't anywhere near strong enough to take on this Cave, let alone by myself. Luckily, Sam was there to help fend off many of the dragons, so we made it pretty far in... But this Gaili... He seeks to perform the Transformation Ritual... Is he really that strong? Maybe I should tag along with him, just to find out. Family Solo While Dad's Away...
Carrion was too young to fully understand the gravity of what was happening when Sam glided away from them. His father had left him in the care of other Drakein before, but only once with Oblivion. Carrion turned to his feathered companion and chirped softly, rustling his wings. He liked Levi. The Diabi was just as Darke and mysterious as he was, and he wasn't completely weirded out by the skull he wore, or his attraction to blood. The young Ayrala felt this dark, red-eyed Alikein understood him in ways no Gaili ever could, but as the Keindred stared up at his companion, Levi's red eyes were cast out over the crags that Sam just vanished behind. He turned his glowing orbs down to the little one with a sigh. "Just you and me now, kid..." He said softly.
Carrion tipped his head at the somberness in the adult's voice, but decided to ignore it. He bounced closer to his companion. "Right! So what are we going to do today? It's not dark or late, so I don't think Dad would mind if we went out..." Carrion hinted slowly. When Oblivion took him out, he got to roll about in whatever creature Levi killed, then go take a bath in a small stream running through the mountains. It was pretty cool! Unlike Sam, Carrion actually enjoyed baths. It was very soothing against his rough skin.
Levi didn't seem particularly impressed by the idea. Sam never physically said it, but the Diabi was pretty sure the ole Gaili didn't particularly enjoy leaving his son with Oblivion. And taking him out and letting him roll in dead things probably wasn't helping, even if he did bathe him afterwards... "I'm not too sure that's a good idea..." Oblivion admitted awkwardly. He was sure Sam would come back, one way or another. He'd probably just want to relax and hear good things. No matter how he returned, he was sure to be exhausted. "Why don't we do something... beneficial for you today. I have a vague idea, but who really knows what you're capable of? It'll be nice to see what you can do." Carrion was still a Keindred, so his magic wasn't fully grown, yet. But at his age it was a good time to start tapping into his powers. Levi could sniff about him and catch the airy scent of an Ayrala beneath all the murky death he carried with him. "C'mon, let's head out!" Levi fanned his wings and leaped from the ledge, diving down into the valley below.
The Keindred blinked and waddled to the edge to see where Levi headed. His own red orbs trailed after the Alikein's movement. He still couldn't fly... His wings were still a bit small, and the tatters only made it worse. But since Levi was just headed down, he could glide after him. He crouched on the edge and fanned his wings before giving his butt a waggle (like Sam did when he flew), and leaping off after Oblivion. He glided a bit shakily, but eventually landed beside his Diabi companion, stumbling forward with his momentum.
Levi fluttered his wings and craned his neck to look down at the young Ayrala. "No one will bother us down here. And this crags form a wind tunnel, so you'll have lots of wind energy to use for yourself." He plodded over to stand beneath a shadowy rock outcropping. "I gain my strength from the darkness, as all Diabis do." One of his dark spires jutted from the ground, the tip edging past the shadows and peeking into the sun, where it wavered slightly. "My powers are not as powerful in the sunlight, though... But you! You have powers over the very air we breathe! And that is an amazing gift. Go ahead and see what you can do."
Carrion couldn't help but straighten himself a bit at the praise. It was such a rare thing for him to receive, despite how hard he tried to earn it from Samael... Still, he'd never really tried to use magic before... He didn't want to let Levi down by not being able to do anything. "I'll try..." Carrion muttered unenthusiastically. He scooted away from his companion. Staring up at the sky between the crags, he thought hard and concentrated and tried to summon a breeze to rustle by him. But nothing happened. Only the average gust blowing through the valley.
Levi chuckled. "Just start small. Wind is unpredictable and unmanageable. Don't think of overtaking it. Reach inside yourself for your magic. Speak to the wind in its own tongue. Simply coerce and direct it to do as you please."
Carrion gazed up at the Diabi stupidly. Speak to the wind? It didn't talk! What was he supposed to do?
"Close your eyes." Levi instructed.
With a groan, Carrion obliged.
"Feel your powers. It's inside of you as well as all around you. If you look in your soul, you will find the very wellspring of your abilities. Tap into it, and you can harness the power of the wind!" Oblivion told him enthusiastically, fanning his wings.
Carrion still wasn't entirely sure he understood. But despite how he felt ridiculous sitting here with his eyes closed waiting for something to happen, he didn't want to disappoint Levi. He felt the wind around him, rustling his wings and tickling against his chest. He sighed. Still not sure how he was to feel the powers inside of him. It was dark behind his lids. He wanted to reach his magic. He thought of all the things he could do if he could only wield it... A flickering light appeared. With his mind, he chased it, but it was evasive. he followed it deeper and deeper into his soul. Who knew how long it took? When he pounced at it, it slipped through his claws. Huffing, Carrion chased it some more. It lead him to a tiny, glassy-looking puddle and disappeared inside.
Was this his magic? There sure wasn't very much of it... He dipped his claws inside... And opened his eyes. He needed only to start small! He parted his jaws and blew a stream out at Oblivion.
Levi chuckled in amusement as the small jet rustled his feathers and blew in his face. "Very good, Carrion." He said in amusement. "Your father will be so proud." He turned and went to sit by the crag. "Practice a bit more. We'll show Samael when he returns." Results: Oblivion teaches Carrion magic! Words: 1085 (total), 543 (for Oblivion)

  Family Solo Homecoming
Sam flew with all deliberate speed back toward his mountainous home. All his new treasures made him even more eager to return and recount his tale; of the Ritual and then his curious finds afterwards. But should he really expose what type of test the Ritual was? Was it really his place to tell them all what taking on the dangerous task was like? Certainly no one had ever given him a play-by-play, and it hadn't hindered his chances. Of course, everyone went in knowing they could potentially die if they failed, so that was a pretty good warning.
The Gaili shook his head. If he could pass any of his wisdom along, then he should. Especially if his son decided he would one day attempt to follow in the footsteps of his father. For Carrion, Sam would have to tell them of his trials. The winds were in his favor and he arrived upon his mountains before the sky was dark. As he flew into his homelands, the sun cast his shadow across the crags, a dark blotch with wings outstretched. He could see curious heads peeking from their lairs, looking up at him and watching him fly toward his own cave. He still held the form of a Drakein.
He landed in the safety of his own home with the sound of his beating wings echoing down his cave. The noise roused Carrion, who was snuggled closely against Levi's feathered side while the Diabi tore rather gruesomely, violently, and (if Sam did say so himself) disgustingly into some type of dead prey animal. Oblivion glanced up in confusion, sucking a strip of meat into his maw. But he didn't stop the young Keindred from darting away from him in glee.
"Dad!" Carrion squealed, skipping over to the Gaili and nuzzling his head against the older Drakein's forearm. Sam had been gone for... well, it had been a long while, it seemed! And Carrion had learned much in his absence. The somber air from when Sam left made it seem like they didn't think he would return... But here he was! All chipper, and bright-eyed and perfectly fine! Carrion could even see that he carried a small sack of what he hoped were treats... But best of all was that he'd actually learned something while his father was away, and he simply couldn't wait to show him!
Levi rose slowly from his dinner, slowly arching down and stretching out his forelimbs, as if he'd been sitting in that position since Sam left. He couldn't help but appreciate the way the Gaili's green eyes landed on him, and Levi flicked his dark feathered tail in amusement. "So, you've returned." The Alikein purred in his deceptively sweet and charming voice. "Doesn't look like you've got much to show for it, unfortunately..." He muttered, looking Samael up and down speculatively. As his gaze landed on Sam's new found treasures, he quirked a brow. "I mean, what is that? A consolation prize?" The Diabi snorted in amusement, especially when Sam's emerald gaze darkened.
"No." Sam scoffed, a touch annoyed by his feathered companion. "I spotted an abandoned caravan on my way home. Since no one was there to claim these gems, I thought I'd do so myself, since I lost the majority of my treasures to the ritual..." Sam retorted, unfurling the pack and arranging the objects in contained neatly within his cavern, with Carrion at his heels curiously.
Levi's glowing gaze softened at the mention of the ritual. Sam almost sounded... put-out. Though there was no way of knowing if it was from the Diabi's teasing or because he'd failed... The clan had had a lot of hopes that Samael would return stronger than ever, but if all he came back with were a few trinkets... Oblivion plodded up to him slowly, pressing his soft, feathered nose against Sam's maw and earning a sharp, surprised intake of air from the Gaili. But Levi just nuzzled him affectionately, because personal space meant very little to him. "At least you've returned. No matter the outcome, there's more time. You can try again. Maybe we can even try together." Levi chortled, amused by the thought. He stepped back from Sam, only to see emerald orbs glittering with mirth.
The Gaili glanced to the ground, a smirk tugging at his lips. "You think I've returned a failure...?" He whispered. Well, that had been the idea. He was pleased to find that he could still bluff a bit, even if he hadn't said much. "I don't think we'll be needing to try the ritual together." Sam told him, turning his green gaze back to the glowing orbs of his companion. He stepped forward, letting his transformation magic swirl around him until he stood on two (slightly shaky) legs. His long platinum hair spilled around his shoulders, ending about where his tail appeared from his backside. He glanced down and noticed the golden markings along his forearm for the first time, nearly identical to the ones on his Drakein body. He flexed his fingers, still somewhat awed by himself before looking to Levi again, a tiny smile on his face.
Carrion squealed in surprise, rearing on his hind legs as his father changed before his eyes. No one had really explained to him what Sam was going off to do. Just that he'd come back... different. And different he was. The young Ayrala leaned in precariously to sniff at the Gaili's midsection. "You're..."
"More smokin' than a Firani!" Levi chuckled, looking the Drakeinian over appreciatively. Samael made a sexy enough Drakein, with his unique markings and horns, not to mention his obvious-enough power in the Cave of Dragons. But seeing him as a Drakeinian made him that much saucier. He'd know Sam was strong before, but this success put him right up there with the best. Somewhere Levi had yet to follow. "I think even the two-leggers would deem you sexy! They like their men to have all these hard planes and such." He hummed, pressing his muzzle to his older companion's chest.
Sam snorted in amusement, stepping away from the silky feel of Levi's feathers. "What do you know of two-leggers?" He scoffed, fighting the heat he felt coming to his face from the blatant praise and admiration from the Diabi. He'd thought he looked... pretty good, but nothing that would get anyone... steamy. He glanced down to see Carrion poking his tongue out and shaking his head in childish disgust. Adults talking about adult things. Gross! The youngster went to closely inspect the treasures Sam had returned with.
Levi's gaze went down pointedly. "I know they don't walk around nude, but that may just be a personal preference type of deal for them..." He snickered as Sam's tanned hand shot out to cover himself, like nudity was something he thought of and abhorred on a regular basis. Oblivion's tail twitched and he set a slow pace to circle around the Gaili Drakeinian. His glowing crimson orbs roamed over his backside, while Sam glared over his shoulder. "I don't think it would be terribly strange if I let you ride me, like the two-leggers ride their poor Bonded slaves."
Sam had the suspicion it wasn't the same type of riding at all. "My young child is still in the room." The Gaili uttered, sending his feathered companion a frosty glare. Besides, Levi was... was a guy. No matter how pretty he was or how soft his feathers felt against his scales. He spared a glance to Carrion, his small Ayrala adopted son.
Thankfully, the Keindred was still oblivious, looking over the paper talismans and dragon tears Sam had returned with. "So, are any of these for me?" He questioned, turning his red orbs on Sam.
The Gaili only smiled at him. "Mayhaps when you're old enough to use them."
"Great!" Carrion chirped, bouncing a bit. Now time for his news! "Levi taught me some great things while you were away!" While Oblivion proudly puffed his chest up, Sam scowled. What could the Alikein possibly have taught him? "He taught me to use my magic! And how to hunt a bit, and we stayed up all night, and he gave me baths. Baths, Daddy!" Samael didn't much care for baths, despite how Carrion told him they soothed his skin.
The Gaili blinked in surprise. Carrion was actually... taking to Levi pretty well. Yes, he'd had his reservations of leaving his young charge alone with this Diabi that he didn't know that well, but Carrion was alive and well, and actually excited about something. Sam spared a glance to Oblivion, who only shrugged at him. The Keindred seemed to like this guy, and Samael couldn't deny that Levi had his moments... Sam still didn't like that smoldering look the Diabi used to inspect him, but he supposed he should be flattered by it. "So you... You really took care of my kid while I was away, huh?" Sam whispered softly. He glanced up to see Levi's smirk, and the Gaili scoffed. "Hmph! Whatever! Maybe I can just trust you to babysit more often!"
Levi only grinned. "As you wish." One step at a time. But he was ever closer to winning this powerful Drakeinian's affections. Results: Teased a sexy new Drakeinian. Words: 1546 (total), 515 (for Oblivion)

Levi SaysVS 2 Kiandri and 1 Firani with Carrion in Hunting With a Little One - Done!
With Carrion's dad still away, Oblivion decides to take his young charge out hunting for real dragons! Their initial ambush is a success, but it looks like another foe is watching them in turn...
For some reason, it seemed like a good idea to take a little youngling out into the desert at night. The Kiandris I've been watching were easy kills, but I took a pretty bad bite from a Firani that I wasn't expecting to appear... Fortunately, we both made it out alive. Sam would've been pretty angry if I'd allowed something to happen to his only child... Results: +80 EXP, +3 LUK, +2 Kiandri Dragon Souls, +1 Firani Dragon Soul Words: 1073

  Family Solo Presents
Sam felt new vigor as the mountains he called his home loomed into view. He'd been away for so long and found that he was actually very eager to see a certain someone... And the quicker he flew, the sooner he could see that Diabi again! But something nagged at the back of his mind. He'd been away for weeks with no contact... They could've been worried for him... What if they were actually angry when they saw him again. Samael paused. Wasn't it customary to bring small presents back from a long trip? Maybe that would help quell their anger. But what should he bring them? Levi would be offended if it was food... And he didn't have time to pick up either of his cave mates anything from their homeland of Soudul...
A tiny cluster of green caught his eye right at the edge of the mountain, and within that cluster, something sparkled. Oblivion was a sucker for pretty things, and as he drifted closer, he realized it was round like a ball. Maybe Carrion could play with it! Sam smiled softly as he floated to the ground to inspect the small plants. The leaves were big, thick, and green, uncommon for his desert home. They made a nest around three small, glittering orbs. The Gaili was instantly mesmerized. They were like large white pearls, with splashes of bright color. Two of them had red designs, and the other, a faded purple.
It was kind of a lucky break, but these would be perfect! He carefully collected the three orbs and quickly returned to the air, brimming with new excitement. It didn't take Sam long after that to reach his home. The sun was still hanging overhead, so he shouldn't have been surprised to see his two roommates snoozing near the back of the cave. He couldn't help but smile at their positions. Carrion's small grey body was tucked up close to Levi's side, while the Diabi was splayed about like a dead bird, wings fanned at seemingly awkward angles. Somehow, the young Keindred managed to tuck himself beneath one.
It would almost be a shame to ruin this adorable sight. But Sam was too worked up just let them sleep peacefully. He set the orbs on the ground and shifted back to his Drakein form. He tried to be silent as he padded toward them, but his long claws clicked loudly against the cave floor. Neither of the sleeping Keins seemed to notice, though. Sam crept forward until his paws were right at Oblivion's head. He crouched down slowly, carefully, close enough that his breath gently rustled the Diabi's neck feathers. Sam brushed his maw along the Alikein's snout softly, whispering "Oblivion..." on a quiet breath.
The Diabi felt a soft wind rustling his feathers. The sounds of night birds chirped softly in the background. This was his home continent of Soudul, where a comfortable darkness always settled. The Alikein yawned softly and glanced down. Beneath his black feathered wing, another Drakein lay curled against him, sleeping soundly. Levi smiled fondly, and leaned his nose down to brush against the top of Samael's head. The Gaili was slow to rouse, and as he turned his maw up to blink sleepily at Levi, he only uttered out a tired, "Oblivion..."
Levi woke abruptly with a quiet gasp. He whipped his head around to face the intruder in his home, only to see a certain Gaili's soft green eyes. Oblivion stared up at him with dumbfounded surprise, his glowing red orbs widening as far as they possibly could. And then he was on all fours, slamming his head against Sam's in a violently affectionate nuzzle. "You're home!" He purred in delight, continuing to rub the side of his face against the other Drakein's, as well as along his neck.
Samael allowed himself to bask in the very obvious affection, even returning it by pressing against the Diabi and releasing pleased hums of his own. Oblivion didn't call him on it, despite the Alikein's surprise. Instead the Diabi pulled away slowly, excitement brimming in his ruby orbs. It seemed the long time apart had done their... relationship some good! Oblivion beamed openly. He was about to comment on how happy he was that they were finally reunited when Sam bypassed him and went to crouch near little Carrion. The crow Drakein refused to admit that he was disappointed that Sam wanted to wake the youngling, and kept his mouth shut.
"Carrion. Carrion, I've brought you a present." Sam cooed softly, tenderly nudging the Keindred's skull.
Bleary red eyes opened slowly. The youngling could tell that it hadn't been long since the warmth from Levi's feathers had left him. Just long enough to bring a chill across his scales. He grinned and bounced to his feet instantly, though, as Sam's words reached him. "Dad!" He chirped, his small wings fluttering in excitement as he bounced over to greet Samael, eagerly trying to leap high enough to bump him under the chin.
The Gaili chuckled and leaned down just enough for the top of the Keindred's skull to just barely brush the underside of his maw. Carrion then proceeded to squeal in glee and run excited circles around Sam. He'd been starting to think the Drakein who'd adopted him would never return. Ever. So to see him and Levi standing side by side now was all the present he needed. ...Although, he certainly wouldn't turn down a real present, either. "So, you brought me something?" He asked in delight.
Samael could hardly hide his amusement. "Yep, a present for both of you. Well, all of us, I suppose!" He amended cheerfully, pleased at the way Levi perked up in curiosity as he was included. Sam plodded over to where he'd left the little orbs, followed closely by his two companions. He sat in front of them, delicately nudging them forward for his roommates to see. "Aren't they lovely?" The Gaili asked in quiet awe.
The other two shared a skeptical look at the strange plant-like present Sam had set before them. They were weird, that was for sure, and they glistened softly in the dim sunlight entering the cave. But lovely? They were just tiny orbs... But Levi didn't want to ruin the good graces he found himself in, so he pawed one of the little treasures - one that was spotted with red - toward him and looked it over. "It's very nice." He agreed with a nod, hoping he hadn't waited too long to respond. But Samael only sent him a pleased smile.
Carrion, on the other hand, had no reservations of politeness. Besides being round and shiny, this orb seemed to be useless. With a tiny frown, he swatted at one that appeared identical to the one Levi had chosen. It was plucked from its nest with a tiny 'pop!' and rolled across the floor. When Carrion looked closer, he noticed a tiny crack, and gasped in surprise. Oh, crud. He'd already broken it! He glanced up to see if Sam had noticed, but the big Gaili wasn't paying too much attention...
So Carrion trotted after the little orb and rolled it over for inspection. It was so thin-looking... Like glass. He gave it another nudge and the crack spread. The Keindred squeaked in surprise and backed a few paces away from it. Then, of its own accord, the orb quivered, and a new crack formed. The young Ayrala's eyes were practically bulging at this point, as a tiny white face with redish accents appeared from the orb. "Dad!" Carrion yelped in alarm, bounding over to tuck himself between Sam's front legs.
The Gaili looked up in confusion, only to spot a small creature flopping from the orb with no amount of grace. It crawled from its confinement and spread its wings before giving them a few flaps. It shook its head, then turned to face the three stunned Keins before it. It chirped quietly, then waddled nearer.
Sam wasn't sure if he should be weary or just in awe. It couldn't be too dangerous... It was only an infant, after all... Plus... It kind of looked like a miniature Drakein. Maybe they were distant family somehow! Another noise near his hindclaws caught his attention, and he glanced down to see the orb that hadn't been chosen by Carrion or Levi quivering and cracking.
"They're eggs!" Oblivion said in awe, as his too began to move and crack. Levi's hatchling was extremely similar to Carrion's in coloration, though not in temperament, it seemed. It had more of a 'ruff' than a chirp, and as Carrion's pet draw nearer to them, it let out a warning screech and beat its wings furiously. It danced around Levi's paws, squawking at anything that drew too near. It was not appeased until Levi scooped it up in his maw. It quickly slunk from between his teeth and perched on his head. The Alikein was instantly in love. "I like 'em." He announced.
So Sam turned his attention to what he was officially claiming as his egg. The one decorated in a quaint purple. The little beast that hatched from it was a shade of greyish-blue, with purple wings. It looked around blearily, but made no sound. When it's eyes landed on Sam, he was pretty sure it smiled at him and shuffled closer. As it pressed against his hind leg, it purred, and then slipped up his leg to his back, and danced up his spine to his shoulders. She draped around his neck, slipping her long tail about him lie a necklace. Samael chuckled in amusement.
Carrion found that he was still weary of the tiny creature. He growled at it whenever it came too close, and swatted at it when it didn't heed his warnings. The Keindred kept moving around the cave in an effort to get the tiny dragon to stop following him. But it didn't. After a while, it learned to keep its distance, though there was obvious sadness hanging around it. Carrion didn't care. If it was a dragon, then it would soon be big enough to eat him, anyway...
Sam looked around at his family and the strange young creatures that now accompanied them. "We should probably consider finding out what they like to eat." He advised with a chuckle. Results: Recieved a new pet from a newly-returned Gaili! Words: 1734 (total), 578 (for Oblivion)

Levi SaysRazing Farms - Done!
Now that Sam has returned to Eowyn, Levi decides to take a small break from his new family and heads out to Serenia for a comfortable bit of greenery. A little Orderite girl stops him from enjoying himself too much...
I'm not sure what I've gotten myself into, but I seem to be making a lot of promises to this little girl. Firstly, taming something to protect her sheron, maybe even training a sheron to know to run when it senses danger. Sam has much more taming experience than me... But maybe some of it rubbed off...? Secondly, I'm to take her to the star shower on Ayr, someplace I've never even been. And she's never been, and her parents won't be there to keep an eye on her! I guess that task falls to me, then. And that's... tomorrow, so I guess I have to hurry along! Results: Met Avani. Words: 2324

Levi SaysWatch the Skies - Done!
Levi agrees to bring the young Orderite, Avani to see the star show on Ayr. The trip was long and hard, but maybe the beautiful sights and the crowd of eager people will make it all worth it!
I was strangely pleased about spending time with this little girl. She's a lot nicer than any Khehora or two-legger I've met, so that was a pretty positive change of pace. She was so small that I was a bit nervous about having her in the crowd, though... Anyway, we had a snack, bought a few cute trinkets. Oh! She even bought me a necklace! No one bought my mom has ever given me anything before... When all was said and done, we find another young Orderite to sit with and watch the stars. Results: Took Avani to the show. Met Rosetta. Levi SaysSilx Snatchers - Done!
After returning home from Ayr, Levi drops Avani off at her home before he heads off to take a nap. In the morning, he returns to tell her goodbye, only to have Kin snatched away by a Silx when she comes outside!
We managed to retrieve Kin without too much incident. One of the Silx lost its life, but it had to be done to keep Avani happy. Now that her plush is safe, it's time for me to return to Eowyn. I'm a bit sad to leave... The time I spent with her was fun and new and not so bad overall. But Sam is waiting for me! I think he needs me more than Avani! She's still got her parents to look after her! Results: Taming failed. Words: 967

Levi SaysThe Beast Returns - Done!
After a long vacation in Serenia, Levi finally returns home to find that Sam isn't with the clan! When he finally finds him, the Gaili is surrounded by a flock of animals... And he's still after more.
At first I was... annoyed that Sam wasn't with the clan, but once I found him, I think I understood why. He had a bunch of live animals with him! Animals that weren't for eating. He must've been pretty lonely without me to stoop to this. It's kind of a strange hobby to collect animals, but I guess I should expect no less of Sam. Maybe there's a chance to wean him off of collecting any new ones... Results: Taming succeeded! Words: 1045

Levi SaysVS 3 Darvithri Bladespinner with Samael in Hunting... Two-leggers? - Done!
Sam and Levi head out together for a lunchtime snack. Azure the vlidean joins them. Oblivion doesn't seem to be thrilled about it, though... Rather than a meal, they find a battle instead!
We were almost getting along, I think... Sam was just starting to warm up to the idea of being playful when these stinking creatures attacked us. Believe me, I have no regrets for dismantling them as quickly and efficiently as I did. Not as quickly as Sam, though. He's so amazing. So talented. I could be like that too, if the mood struck me. I thought I deserved a kiss as a reward, but I ended up with a trinket instead. A trinket of love, I hope. Results: +60 EXP, +3 LUK, +13 Plain Cloth, +1 Royal Venom Words: 911

Levi SaysGoing Dark - Done!
Levi misses home and desperately wants Sam to meet his parents. Sam grudgingly agrees.
I didn't think Sam would go for meeting my Mum, but he did! Unfortunately, he got sidetracked by a borlarn on our path. He just can't seem to leave these things alone... As grudging as I was at first, it turned out to be a blessing! He decided to let my mother keep it, so that it could protect her while I was away. She was by herself while we were there, so she needs something to keep her company while Da's away... Results: Taming succeeded! Words: 946

Levi SaysEnough Time - Done!
While playing a game of hide-and-seek, Sam and Levi stumble across a wandering hastar. Sam can't suppress the urge to go after it, but will Oblivion tolerate that?
More beasts. As if we needed any more. We were supposed to be looking for lunch, and instead we run into this thing. Sam can't even pretend not to be interested. It's annoying, but I always feel like he should know better without me having to say anything... Unfortunately, when push comes to shove, I'd rather get my way than hold my tongue. I... I may have said some things I'll find embarrassing later on, but for now, everything seemed to work out for the better! And... And if I happen upon a nest needing a new dad or two... Well, what happens, happens. Results: Taming succeeded! Words: 1043

Levi SaysVS 2 Soudul Cah with Samael in Why Does It Need Three? - Done!
When Sam imposes a curious question, Levi wonders what exactly he knows about raising eggs. The Diabi decides to try and find out, but they're sidetracked by a cry for help!
I was half asleep while Sam was talking to me, but, now that I think about it, it's kind of exciting to hear him asking questions about eggs. I would've liked to bring him to meet a female with hatchlings from my old clan. But we had to stop and save a youngster from being attacked by insect-like creatures. Kinda gross, really. That's fine. It looks like no one was hurt, so hopefully Sam isn't too tired to continue the adventure. Results: +68 EXP, +2 LUK Words: 619

Levi SaysVS 3 Diabi with Samael in This Black Magic - Done!
Levi continues to try and take Sam to meet members of his old clan, but when they arrive, they realize that no one is at the old nesting ground. Instead it seems to have been taken over by a small family of dragons.
There were some worrying things said today. Like how Sam is just now thinking and planning for hatchlings because I brought it up. I hope it's not a fickle thing. And then he also may have felt bad for the infantile dragon we had to kill. The world is a safer place without it, for sure. Sometimes I wonder what Sam is actually thinking and what he really hopes to gain from our relationship. Just a feathery body to cuddle with, I fear.
