Mares Name: Alecto
Personality: Vigorous
Alecto is a highly energetic, bloodthirsty mare who gives off the appearance of an unstable harpy -- to anyone who didn't know her, one might assume she'd be ready to snap at any second and partake in a killing spree just for the sheer fun of it and laugh the whole time. They're right, of course; stallions would be much safer to stay far, far away from her, but she's just as stable as the next Slayer, and her high energy often leaves her frazzled, eager to take on new tasks to aid the Hatetalons and her Queen. She tends to be rather sarcastic and, at times, loud; it's certainly easy enough to pick out her screech when she observes the entertainment in the Bloodslash Arena. She's content enough with her role as a Slayer to not seek out positions of leadership within the herd; she loves what she does, and as long as she gets to keep doing it, she'll be happy and will continue to put her all into everything she does.
Backstory: Alecto was born into the Northspring Harpies, and it was a surprise to no one when she rose to the rank of a Slayer -- her harpy mother's successful breeding with a captured lightning ulun'suti produced foals full of deadly, restless energy begging to be burned off. As is custom with her mother, the lightning ulun'suti stallion was put to the death in the Bloodslash Arena for one final amusement; she'd given birth to one female and two male foals, so there was no point in keeping such inferior genetics around. The colts were released to fend for themselves. Alecto spent much of her childhood learning to hunt, delighting in the chase almost just as much as the kill. It took her some time to learn to kill efficiently rather than mutilate the corpses beyond salvaging, over-eager to take down her prey. Thanks to her heritage, her endless energy and bloodthirstiness made her a perfect candidate for the Slayers, with high stamina more often than not enabling her to outlast her victims and prey.
I'd like to see her involved in, well, battle RPs of course -- maybe Flock ambushes! Or training young mares to hunt!

Likes: Lots and lots of feathers, feather fetlocks, long swoopy peacock-shaped feathers, pointed feathers (as opposed to rounded owl-like feathers), messy mane mixed with feathers, Native American themed accessories (Ie. feathers, beads, etc), warpaint markings in blood, claws, toe claws, wide eyes for a wild/crazy look, scars, tribal/totem markings, natural markings (peacocks, big cat spots, stripes, etc.), blood stains on claws/muzzle.
Dislikes: Human clothes, modern accessories (iPods, headphones, etc.), pictures/scene markings (Ie. a forest drawn on a soquili), bugs, insects, spiders, excessive gore.
Concept idea refs/Plushies: I don't have any, coloring is very difficult and energy consuming for me unfortunately. :< I'm picturing a mare who uses blood for warpaint, though. She has feathered mane and a feathered tail, with four hippogryph claw-feet along with four ulun'suti toe claws (her only ulun'suti trait), along with feather fetlocks. I prefer long swoopy peacock-shaped feathers, and pointed feathers as opposed to round owl-like feathers. She'd be a bit messy in appearance with ruffled up feathers, with a wild/crazy look in her eyes (like wide eyes that show the entirety of the iris), maybe grinning creepily with her sharp teeth bared. Scars are a plus too! So basically the stuff I listed under Likes, lol.
