Summary:

A dark-haired woman comes into the shop and asks Orah for flowers that smell really bad. Unfortunately, Farah's Garden doesn't sell anything like that. She leaves with a single lily Orah gave her instead.

With the chinese new year coming up, Farah's Garden was abuzz with people coming to buy flowers to decorate their homes with.

Art had been prepared this year, ordering a special shipment of flowers just for the occasion. Red Azaleas and Gladiolas were prominent on the shop shelves, their little pots wrapped in gold plastic and red bows. Peach branches stood tall in vases with their buds still closed and Narcissus filled the air with its sweet scent. With the sale Art had set up, the shop was drawing a good size crowd and doing a thriving business… which meant that Orah was working what felt like double time filling arrangement orders and helping her father keep the shelves stocked.

Shipments arriving in the back had to be unloaded and stored, customers had to be greeted and helped, orders had to be filled and waiting for picking up, money had to be exchanged and sorted… it nearly made her head spin. Her to-do list felt three years long… especially because not all the traffic was for the new year either. So close to Valentine's day, there was already increased business for that. As their busiest holiday of the year, the shop relied on the income they got to last them through the slower times.

Orah didn't really mind the bustle so much, but it felt like all she thought about these days were flowers and arrangements. The only escape she seemed to find was when she was in school… after school and all evening until bed, she was doing something for the store.

At least it kept her from being bored, though she knew she'd have a ton of catch up to do afterwards on everything she was putting off… like housework. The upstairs apartment was strewed with bits of plant, paper and ribbon, vases standing on all the surfaces along with containers of water. Matt, well used to this by now, wisely retreated to his room as soon as he could and avoided the mess altogether with a firmly shut door. He had little interest in a flower shop and Orah had long since given up trying to get him to participate in it.

"Thanks for coming!" Orah called after a lady as she turned to go, a small azalea tree in her hands. The old lady waved as she bustled out the door, leaving the young girl suddenly in a calm spot in the small shop. For once, no one was waving to get her attention and there was no one in line at the register. Sighing, she reached for the water bottle she kept near the register and took a drink to wet her throat, a necessity when you spend hours chatting with customers. Mentally, she checked off things on her to-do list and reviewed the disappointingly long list that was still undone. Some of it would have to wait till tomorrow. She still had homework to do tonight, and dinner to make before that. It could very well end up being another late night for her. Her father usually frowned at that, but he was too busy with his own work now, and too grateful for everything she did, to enforce a good bed time on his daughter. She'd pay for it tomorrow, of course, but she'd survive. Maybe if they did really well, she could bring up the subject of a kitten again. If Art was tired enough, and happy enough with how much they'd brought in with the sale, he just might say yes this time.

Smiling, the dark haired girl called a greeting to a customer that had just walked in and reached for a cleaning cloth, running it industriously over the counters as she hummed to herself.

Summary:

Ida meets Myrkviðr in a cramped alley after being chased in there by a powerful youma. Using up her last attack, she distracts it while the page escapes. Luckily for Ida, Pandora shows up as she collapses and finishes off the youma. After getting some advice about senshi and not patroling alone, they exchange numbers and go their separate ways.

Summary:

Ida meets Eternal Remarque when he corners her on a rooftop on her way home from patrol. Stuck until he let her go, she gets some answers about what the DMC is and how they view the war from their side of things. Its confusing, but feels wrong to Ida.

Summary:

Ida meets Super Sailor Ate one night after a rough patrol. They spar for a bit, talk about life as a senshi. At the end though, Ate seemed to become upset over something and leaves Ida with a cryptic good bye and some tears.

Farah's Garden joins in on the Main Street Valentine's Palooza, donating flowers to the raffle and hosting a big sale.

Summary:
Orah meets Nate while window shopping at the mall. Out looking for trouble, he decides to drag her along for the ride. After causing some mischief at the pet store, he manages to sneak a kitten out and gives it to her as a present, telling her he would pay for it.



"Shhh..." Orah whispered as she tugged her coat up higher around her cheeks, her arm wrapped around her middle. To most people, she looked like she was simply burying herself in a warm coat, but there was something slightly off about it. Hopefully, a certain someone upstairs wouldn't notice the slight bulge over her chest. She certainly hadn't grown a bigger chest over night...

A warm, rolling purr sounded from below her chin and the teen smiled as she paused before the stairs up to her apartment. Reaching inside, she gave the small kitten she cradled a gentle stroke over its forehead. It was hard to believe she finally had a kitten of her own, even if it wasn't 'official' yet. There was still one obstacle to over come, but -that- could wait till tomorrow... or the day after.

Sneaking up the stairs, she paused at the door way to see where her father was. Luckily, he was in the living room, facing the tv rather than the door up from the store. Gave her a few moments to dash across the room to the second stairs, heading for her room.

"Hey Daddy, I'm home! I'll be up in my room doing homework!" She called over her shoulder, hearing him call something after her as she bounced up the wooden stairs. She promptly forgot whatever it was, though, because she had something far more interesting to pay attention to.

The kitten was soon making its way about her bed, sniffing the covers and the pillows as it bounced about, its tail in the air. Kneeling beside the bed, Orah grinned as she watched, her chin on her folded arms.

"What should I call you?" She said to it as she reached out to tickle its ears, laughing as it rolled onto its back and waved little kitten paws in mock anger. She had kind of guessed at it was a girl kitten, since most calicos were female, but she was sure of it now. The name had to be something cute... something short and sassy. "Hmm..."

Getting up, the teen went to dig in her closet, hearing a forlorn mew behind her as she did so. "I'm coming, hold on!" She said as she pulled out her smuggled cat supplies, bringing them back to the bed. First was a little paw printed bowl and some kitten food, which promptly closed the mewing mouth as the kitten buried her face into it. "Funny little thing." She laughed as she itched the kitten down her spine, watching the little body arch up while still scarfing down food.

"Little lovely Lola..." Orah chuckled as she rested her chin on the bed again, smiling as she felt warmth spread through her chest. Dogs might be other people's favored pet, but for her? Nothing but a cat would do. And now, her family was one bigger.

Summary:

Alexandre visits Farah's garden and buys two lovely, expensive flower arrangements that Orah made. She agrees to deliver them to Meadowview, where they both go to school, so he can use them as models for paintings in his art club.
