"Wake up! Wake up Mommy! Daddy!" Joshua cried, jumping onto his parents bed, and bouncing them awake. "Santa's been here!" Both parents groaned, but they couldn't get back to sleep.

"Where's Vinny?" Thali asked sleepily. She had quickly noticed that her youngest son wasn't with Josh.

"He's already opening presents," Joshua made a face at his brother's greed. He took his parents by the hand and led them to the living room. The family had set up a large tree the day before. It was decorated with tinsil, and bulbs of every color. Underneath the tree was a large assortment of gifts, and Vincent.

"Mine!" The toddler said in greeting. He was already ripping into his gifts. He had thrown the clothes onto the floor, displeased. With every toy he recieved, he put it carefully beside him. He would play with them later, first he wanted to see how many he got.

Thali went to the tree. "Josh look!" She said, "All these have your name on them!" She encouraged him to start opening them, and then handed Ben a gift. "From me," She told him, "Merry Christmas."

Ben opened the gift slowly, as if he wanted to save the wrapping paper. Thali rolled her eyes. Ben was surprised at the gift, he hadn't really expected anything. Inside was a cell phone.

"But.." Ben started. Thali put a finger to his lips.

"So you can call when you're worried about me." She said, teasing.

It would be on a Saturday that you open your mail box (if you have one) and notice there is a rather thick envelope stuffed in there. There is no postage stamp and a very vague return address. But you recognize the font and the company's name. 'Seven of Seven Inc' scrawled in majestic font across the upper left hand corner. As you open it, you may strangely find yourself drawn to the letter, there is a mass of notes inside. They read as follows:

Congratulations! You have managed to succeed in raising your child. (IE: Not killing him or her or getting killed yourself. Haha we kid of course.) We would like an update from you on the following:

Guardians Name:
Child's Name:
Sin:
Virtue:
Gender:
Current Attitude:
Likes:
Dislikes:
Any abnormal growths: (if any, example: Feathers molting, horns growing larger, scars )
Current hair style:
Current clothing preferences:
Dominant celestial trait: (The sin or virtue)

Please summarize in your own words how difficult or easy it was taking care of your child. Did you manage to care for them in a kindly fashion? Or were you forced to discipline them?
As well do not be alarmed if you suddenly find your child achieving a massive growth spurt in the next little while. We are finding that the children from our facility have strange growing patterns and are rather unpredictable. Although please let us know if anything unexpected occurs.

Sincerely the technicians from Seven of Seven Inc.

Ps. Please just leave your letter back in your mail box one you have completed it our courier will pick it up.

Thank you.

You would notice the letter seems overly friendly...strange since the scientist were so ...cold before.

(Just take the from Guardians name to Dominant Celestial trait and pm it to the mule, the summarization doesn't have to be long just have fun with it.)

Journal,

Ben here. Thali is still in shock from today's events, despite what the strange letter we recieved the day before said about not being surprised if some massive growth spurt took place. I don't think she paid much attention to it. Since she's not up to writing, I have been forced to record this. Vinny grew today.

I don't want to scare you journal, by sounding too neutral. I was just as surprised as my wife at the sudden growth spurt. I have merely recovered from the shock. We had figured that he might grow at a different rate than our oldest-- we hadn't expected something like this to happen. I suppose I should explain the entire thing. Our oldest, Joshua, was the first to learn of Vinny's growth spurt. Needless to say, the toddler was not thrilled.

Like any boy, Joshua believes that the oldest should be the biggest. Or what he calls the 'coolest'. I tried explaining the different rates of growth-- and that Vincent was different from other people. You think he understood?

If you said no, you'd be right. It is not an easy task to explain something to a toddler, muchless a stubborn one such as Joshua. I think he gets that from his mother.. Or perhaps Vate.. Whatever the case, Thali had stayed up late into the night; as elves are wont to do, I suppose. Or maybe it's because she's pregnant. I don't know. She missed most of the morning mayhem. When she finally awoke, I had just gotten Josh and Vinny calmed down.

I tried to keep her from jumping out of bed to see Vinny-- but do you think she listened? She's as stubborn as... well, an elf. I think it has to do with hormones. Like her strange craving for butterscotch pudding at three in the morning.

Back to why I'm writing. You can imagine Thali's reaction. She freaked. "Vinny?" She had said. Can you picture her eyes? It was almost comical, now that I think back on it. But poor Thali! She was so startled that she stared. "I didn't expect you to grow so fast--" She managed.

Vinny only shrugged. I suppose he was taking his growth instride. He probably didn't know why we were making such a big deal. Until Thali muttered something about shopping. He shook his head, looking his mother in the eye.

You should have seen her expression. She was used to a toddler that was easy to handle, someone that never said no.

Maybe that's why she's so bothered.

Journal,

Mom insists I start to write in this. I suppose it's to keep track of all the things we do as a family and all that. But isn't that way we have memories? Well, if she insists..

Josh was dragged to the mall by Almie. It was pretty funny, really. He's always so picky about what he's going to wear. And then she comes over telling him that he'll never get a girlfriend wearing that kind of stuff. You should have seen his face.

Almie apparently thinks I have a good enough fashion sense, though I doubt I do. She told me she liked my outfit today; she said the colors in my shirt brought out my eyes. I don't know how.

Soon I'm going to be an older brother! Mom's doctor told her that she's having twins. Twin girls! I wasn't there when she told dad, so I didn't see his reaction. When I finally did get home with Uncle Vate, dad was pale and muttering to himself.

I don't know why, but Uncle Vate found this funny. Then he told me that talking to yourself was a sign of going insane.

So journal, if my dad goes insane...

Will I get another one?
