After receiving a plushie and handing it to Phyre to have, the two sat down with a hot chocolate. Candy was about to make conversation when Phyre began to speak up on wanting to say something. Turns out it was about Crystallize, and not for the reason she thought it would be ", You are afraid of being a big sister because you are not sure you will be a good one? Oh Phyre," she took her daughter into her arms ", You are going to be an amazing sister, a fantastic one even! Not only that, but you will have me to help you along the way, alright? Not only that, but Crystallize will be here any time. I just wanted to spend some time with you since we haven't been able to just do that as of recently."

With warm drink in hand, Phyre finally had some time to tell Candy what was on her mind. With her basic concerns out of the way and Candy explaining that she would be a great sister, Phyre moved over to her and hugged Candy tight ", Thank you mommy. When will little brother be here?" Right after that Crystallize showed up, baby sitter handing him off and wishing them a happy holidays.





Crystallize didn't like being away from his family, especially Phyre. She and Valerian were his siblings, and also closer to his age. That meant he got along better with them. This baby sitter wasn't bad at all. They just were not his family. However, they did manage to get him a bracelet and a plushie so he kind of was okay with them.

The moment he saw his mother and sister though, he couldn't help but run over to them excited, calling for them ", Mamma! Phyre!!!"

As Edel walked up to the booth after Rhiannon, she noticed that it appeared to have bugs flying about in a small pen. Passing on the complimentary treat the staff provided, she instead asked the booth runner about the bugs. From there she realized how the runner appeared to be a fey, one of the daydreams she heard were visiting the world of below. And how these bugs were brought from their own home. She hadn’t thought much about the new races, but given how nice the fey at the booth were, she figured it wasn’t all that bad that they were here.
With the staff keeping hold of her kidden’s leash for her, Edel grabbed the large bug-net and walked into the pen. Lightly swinging at the flying fluffy shadows, so as not to accidentally hurt one, she eventually felt something buzzing about in the net, with a light buzzing sound. She caught one! As she stepped out of the pen and placed the critter into a small container provided by the booth, she could properly see the little fluffbug, a beautiful white one adorned with a few black stripes.





Rhiannon’s heart sank. What she presumed to be a sweets booth was actually a fluffbug catching booth? At first she was going to decline, but as Edel finished her turn, sporting a black and white fluffbug, she figured it would be fun to see what she’d catch.
Accepting the large net, she went into the pen, swinging about as carefully as she had seen Edel do. While some of her swings were a little aggressive, deterring most of the fluffbugs, eventually she felt the tugging and buzzing of a captured bug. As she transferred her catch into a container as well, she could see that her fluffbug was a pretty snow white-blue with swirls. It looked like a worthy prize for herself.

"Of course I'll think of my handsome, snuggly boyfriend when I cuddle them at night." Alioth ginned, hugging Foras tightly. He loved getting plushies, as it turned out, although he was running out of arms to hold them in. He was going to have to find one of those magic infused bags that were bigger on the inside. Speaking of plushies, another came sailing out of the air and landed on his shoulder. Who was even throwing these things? Still, another one to add to his collection.

"Hot cocoa sounds amazing, babe! I hope they put a ton of marshmallows in mine." He said as he headed to the cocoa stand with Foras. The hybrid paused and Alioth also looked at the other couple, smiling invitingly. He had a feeling that if the other two didn't come, they'd stay for more darts and, while Alioth had nothing against darts, hot chocolate really did sound super delicious right now.










The Grimm nodded, "Yeah, the party is really, really fun. There are so many prizes, and look at all the daydreams!" Julie looked around before looking back at Shannon and smiling shyly. "You wanna hang out and try a few games with me?"

A freshling next to her exclaimed loudly about not wanting a plant and, when Julie looked over, saw him drop the pot and walk away. The Grimm ran to rescue it before someone stepped on it. She loved plants, she'd take care of it.





Mani eyed the bird one last time before smiling at his brother. "Thank you, Munnin, I'd really rather not get bitten." He didn't really want to get slammed in the back of the head either, but you took what you could get with familiars. Ran liked to tackle him all the time and nothing he could do or say seemed to change that.

A passing vendor was selling candy and the Freshling jumped up to get some peppermint bark. Yuuummm. "You're right, this is a good spot. Here, Munnin, you want some?" He asked, holding a piece out to his brother. He crunched a couple of the pieces of bark and saved some of the rest. "You wanna stay here or go play a game?"





The fallen girl had ran off into the crowd after not quite getting permission from her parents. The freshling was way too excited to hang around and listen to all of the rules (rules she heard all the time) and was tempted by some candycanes.

As she stepped back, away from the vendor however, she accidentally knocked into a purple Imp hybrid. "Oops, sorry, sorry. I didn't see you." The Fallen's wings fluttered nervously as she apologized.

With her new familiars, Sini and Aruna, adorning her shoulders Kyleigh was quite the happy Nightmare. However, as the night grew longer she began to feel a shiver. The smell of hot chocolate drew her to a table selling hot drinks and she bought herself a hot chocolate with extra marshmallow.




They decided to try their hand at another game, and were successful! Shooting balls through a hoop wasn't as hard as it looked. They won another giant plushie and chuckled softly. Vera was going to love all of these... They hoped. Taegan's hands were starting to feel cold just as they walked by a table selling warm drinks. Hot apple cider sounded perfect to them, so they bought one and sighed at the comforting scent emanating from the mug.



She giggled and smiled. "You're silly," she told him. "Why wouldn't I want to borrow a book from you?" He was her friend, right? So why should she she have to go look for someone else when she knew Cyril would have the book she wanted to borrow? So silly. She blinked and turned to follow where he pointed to the water racing game. "Oh! That looks like so much fun! Let's go!" she giggled and grabbed his hand to run over to the game booth. Plopping in one of the chair provided, she took possession of one of the water guns as she waited for Cyril to be ready.

Just then, a strange noise came to her ears and she blinked. "Do you hear that?" she asked him as she turned in a circle. Just behind the game booth was a cream and green Fennekit. "Oh, how cute! Look, Cyril, he's trying to sing along to the carols!" she giggled and scooped the Fennekit up in her arms, humming along to the music.



"Ho hum," she murmured to herself as she looked up to the decorated tree. It was pretty, but it seemed a little messy to her. Ah well, it wasn't her tree. Wandering around the merchant booths again, she bought herself an enchanted necklace. It was a pretty color, at least. Maybe she'd hang it on her bedpost.




Playing one of those guessing games won Aellys another plant for participating. It was slightly frustrating to him that no one was labeling these plants. He supposed that was part of the mystery or whatever. Maybe it would be fun identifying them when they grew. Someone else threw a plushie in his direction. They seemed almost too cheerful for the holidays... He waved a thank you and stuffed it in his stocking along with the rest of his plushies.




Coming across the hot drinks booth, Tamandani picked up a hot coffee for herself. It was quite tasty, though she could have used a little festive flavoring. She decided to try her hand at a mystery game where contestants picked up a little plastic fennekit with a number written on the bottom. The one Dani picked up had a 3 on the bottom and won her another plushie. She chuckled softly to herself and thought she would have plenty of things for a freshling to play with.

Salamander cradled under her arm, Elliah took her time strolling around. As she was walking through the booths, one of the attendants flashed her down with the offer of some candy canes. They weren't red and white, but purple ones were just as good. Unless they were grape flavored. She hoped they weren't. They were promptly put into her stocking and she laughed a bit to herself. Most of the things she'd gotten from the festival so far were accessories that she could wear instead of decorations or trinkets. Her new familiar seemed more than happy to travel around with her, so she could probably tuck him into a pocket so she could play some of the games.

Kieran was by walking alongside their twin, taking in all the events and planning mischief. They could easily cause as much havoc here as they did during halloween. Kie already had a glow necklace they'd picked up through...questionable methods.

A sigh caught their attention, though, and the demon spotted a mutant chimera freshling looking grumpy. Kieran had to go over. "Hey, what's wrong with you?" Kie asked, forgoing tact entirely it seems. It was a little bit more Phe's specialty anyway.

As he wandered about the festival, Paladin couldn't help but wonder at his luck. Particularly as the Spin the Wheel game he had just tried had landed on the 'You win a pet!' peg.

Which now meant that the young grimm had two brightly colored, toothy birds perching on his shoulders, chittering at each other.

Well, as long as they didn't start fighting while they were that close to his face.

The whole family had paused for a rest and a snack. As Jazilyn sat and leaned in against her sibling's side she giggled softly and held her hands out to the cockatriel that Gilby had found. Both of her mommas had warned her to be careful of the toothy beak. But Jazilyn didn't want to touch the beak, she just wanted to be friends with the little bird.

As she was sitting, a small, beautifully red fennekit trotted by and stopped to watch them. After a moment, it carefully crept closer and closer until it was almost in Jazilyn's lap. Letting out a small bark of contentment, it curled up while the delighted child stroked the so soft fur.

"Well," she heard both of her parents laughing, though only one spoke, "I'd say you've got a new friend there, my small darling."

At the moment, Zahneel was laughing at herself and trying to figure out how on earth she was going to manage. It was a good thing that her existing pets weren't the jealous sort, or she suspected she'd be in trouble. The latest addition to her menagerie was a lovely red wisp who'd decided to follow her around. Not that she minded. Still, part of her wondered how many more friends she might end up making before the night was through.

Even as their sister was cooing and cuddling the stray fennekit, Gilby found themselves making another new friend of their own. The hybrid had wandered a little ways off to stare at a spin the wheel game. Unable to resist trying, they spun the wheel carefully and grinned as the pet peg came up.

After a few moments, Gilby came trotting back, trailed by a green wisp.
