Exet couldn't help laughing quietly as she showed him the plushie. "It's pretty cute for some sort of wiggly lookin' thing," he said as he poked at it with his free hands. As Eli had taken up a lantern from the guys standing at the front of the place, he grabbed up a weird turnip looking thing before squeezing her hand and leading her through the entrance. He wasn't sure what to expect, so he was on complete and total protection mode, ready to take on anyone or anything after Eli.
Aly was completely content snuggling up with her new friend. She loved to snuggle, so finding someone else she could snuggle with was totally awesome in her book! When Veles asked her a question, Aly's eyes did a glance up, but her head didn't move from its spot on his shoulder. With a blush settling on her cheeks, she nodded and offered a soft 'mmhmm'. Wriggling just a little bit to get herself off of her tail, curling it about the both of them. "We stay here much longer and i might fall asleeps," she said as she giggled. Closing her eyes, she wrapped her arms around Veles and held close to him. "Cozy~"
Growing bored waiting, Karayas walks over to the next house. There were several freshlings running about the yard, giggling. One was screaming and following behind was someone dressed up as something, she couldn't make it out. Suddenly that someone turned and started at her. Shrieking she turned and ran out the yard, no treat or trick was worth that!
His new familiar was making him laugh so much his stomach hurt or was it the candy? Shrugging he kept on munching not paying attention to anything going on around him other then his sweets and familiars!
Holding her beautiful crystal ball for a few more minutes before carefully putting it in her treat bag, she decided to get in the front of group this way that bully Kirin would be behind her. Coming to the next house, the yard had so many decorations it was hard to see where to walk, guess that was the point. Looks like the owner decided to do a small maze like walk to get to the treats. Laughing she took off through a few large balloon looking decorations, one was swaying in the breeze making it look like it was waving at her. Giggling she waved back and ducked behind it to go around to the back and before she knew it she was at a table. Standing next to it was a Imp smiling at her. "Looks like you avoided the "tricks" so you get a treat" Knowing she wanted a pretty bracelet she shyly took one slowly and smiled as she put it on her small wrist and walked over waiting for her group. Secretly hoping that the "Kirin" would get all the tricks! Serves her right.
Her stomach began to feel weird, upset but she was hungry. "Maybe to much sweets" she thought to herself. Rubbing her tummy she kept walking with her familiar floating about her. As she came to the next house on the block, she saw a large barrel and a line. Bobbing for apples!" she squealed. She loved doing this so much fun. Waiting her turn, she tried and it took 2 dives before she snagged one. Bringing it out of the water she noticed it was not Red or Green it was Purple! Not understanding what it meant she looked around to see if anyone else got one. The Grimm who was hosting the game, came over and told her it meant she won a familiar along with a treat. There was only 4 Purple apples, not to worry it was just food coloring. It would not hurt her she can still eat it. There was several familiars next to a long table with sweets and trinkets. She chose a cute little Vespercat statue and one familiar seemed to catch her eye. Bending over she asked it if it would like to be her new friend and it seemed to understand it began to float about her head making her laugh.
Looking around it took him only a few minutes to locate his group, it was two houses down from where he was. The caretaker of his group was standing there looking around for him, sheepishly he approached and said he was sorry before catching up to his group. They were already at the door and was given some treats. He opened his bag and said "Trick or Treat!" he had a choice of candy or trinkets. He took another sweet knowing he shouldn't.

Cleo felt far more energised after taking a break and was somewhat ready to take on the challenge of approaching strangers once more. Smiling softly down at the torti - glad to have him by her side - she knocked lightly but confidently on the next door."Trick or treat,"She chanted, taking a moment to reflect upon those words. Why start with trick? Do any children truly expect that there is a 50% chance they will receive a trick of some kind? Surely the expectation is for a treat, so why even offer an alternative? Is it pointing out the consequences of not following the child's desire? Cleo had already noticed a few houses covered in eggs, toilet paper and feathers. These must have come from displeased children with little discipline... or maturity. Cleo was so wrapped up in her thoughts she didn't even notice the person hesitantly placing a lollipop in her bag and backing away slowly. Before she had time to thank them, they'd gingerly closed the door. Receiving candy truly took no effort on the part of the child.
Things had really turned around for Connor. Getting that lollipop was all it took to get her mood back on track. She was back to her confident posture as she slithered to the next house, a few members of her gang already grazing at their pickings; Connor liked to save all her candy until the end, so she could see the huge pile she collected. Knocking eagerly on the door, she led her group in the famous chant."Trick or treat!"And then, finally, she caught a glimpse of the Good Stuff. Chocolate! It was handed out in handfuls, the children eagerly opening their bags wide to receive it. Connor was given a fair share - the perks of being in front and having such an amazing costumer - but one of the morsels was clearly half-melted. Hating to break her own rules, she quickly shoved the chocolate bat into her mouth. It was so good! Truly what Haunted Hallows was all about.

Zeerah and Xero were reunited quickly, especially since Zeerah only had a couple of eggs left to throw at the house. He was muttering angrily to himself as he kicked a stone on the sidewalk."Giving erasers out on Haunted Hallows... blatant child abuse... what's the point... miserable old coot,"He mumbled sporadically. Xero seemed to ignore this; he could always use more stationery supplies, after all. Seeing as he intended to give all his candy to Xero regardless, it was quite fortuitous to him that he would receive such an item. Arriving at the next house, Zeerah knocked on the door half-heartedly, the pep out of his step from the night's misfortune."Give us a treat that doesn't involve school supplies,"He sang with a smile. Gotta charm them, right? The person who opened the door seemed a little out of it, and slipped two turnips into their bags before waving goodbye and closing the door. The entire encounter was so odd, Zeerah didn't even have a chance to respond. Fetching out the vegetable, he stared at the smiling face curiously."Huh... this is actually pretty neat,"He decided, tossing the thing in the air a few times before putting it back. Xero seemed equally interested in his turnip, although it had a far more sinister expression. Very intriguing.
Sabera was far more interested in the torti now, as it seemed it insisted on following him from house to house. The group's escort tried to keep the freshlings focused on what they were doing, but it was clear they all wanted to watch the familiar. Sabera decided enough was enough and squatted in front of the creature, staring into its intelligent eyes."Do you wish to come with me?"He asked seriously. The torti blinked slowly, before nodding."Hm. Come, then,"He sighed, walking side by side with the creature. He had never had a 'pet', seeing as all the creatures of the forest were considered his friends. Perhaps it would be nice to have a familiar.. chanting with the others, Sabera happily received a pencil from the next house. He knew school supplies were coming; students were warned of them every year. The rest of his group was smart enough to mumble about it out of earshot of the house and their escort. A serious blow to morale, for sure.
Essurio let an impressive yawn leave her mouth as she clung to her doll, her treat bag almost dragging behind her now. Her four eyes were becoming heavy-lidded as she trudged along. She was used to going to bed relatively early compared to the other freshlings, and the excitement of the evening was taking its toll on her. She didn't even have the energy to chant with the others, and finally the teacher took notice of the sleepy charge. "Oh, Essurio..." She cooed softly, picking up the small child. She was practically asleep on her feet before then, so it didn't take long for her to doze off in the teacher's arms. Just a quick nap, she assured herself.
Colette felt like she was on a roll, having received two treats from just one place. Truly she had come up with a genius plan that still had more to give. Calling the next number, she was happy to get another response."Trick or treat!"She sung happily, and the person seemed happy with her voice. "A kid? I'll be down in a sec." This person took the longest of all, but eventually they appeared in front of her. "We don't really get trick-or-treaters so I didn't actually have any candy around," The man said sadly. Seeing Colette's face fall, he quickly shoved a small statue at her. "Here, I found this, though! I got it a few years ago, it seems season-appropriate, right?" She took it gratefully."It's so precious! Thank-you,"She said gratefully. The man looked bashful, before wishing her luck and disappearing once more. It seemed a lot of these apartment-dwellers weren't really ready for her. Perhaps her plan wasn't fool-proof after all...
