Elirian just about vibrated with the amount of pride that filled her at his words. He even said his mom would teach her, too! As he mentioned himself showing her a few more tricks, she giggled, twisting her body from side to side, “I think you're a great teacher.” Having her hand grabbed up surprised her but she happily entwined her fingers with his, following along after him with a smile. Though as she was brought up to a house and presented with a black plushie being wrapped about her shoulders she almost exploded. With a small squeak, she threw her arms about Exet and planted a kiss to his cheek. “It's so cute! Thankyouthankyouthankyou.” And then she realized just what it was she was doing. “OH!” She squeaked again, letting go of him with a sheepish smile. “I'm sorry. I just kinda… Yeahhhh…” She trailed off, not really knowing what to say in that moment as she was pretty sure she'd just scared him a little bit with her seemingly random outburst.
While Aly was being handed a plush, Veles had a toothbrush placed in his hand. With an unamused snort, he stuffed it in his bag and grinned at her as she pushed her new trinket at him to look at. “Not as cute as you,” he let slip. He didn't regret it, but it was dorky and she'd probably laugh at him for it. But it was true, and not just because of her appearance, she was cute as a whole. “That was really corny,” he mocked himself dryly as he attempted to recover.
Trystine was disappointed yet again to find another house that wasn't offering anything even though they had their lights on. Didn't they know to at least turn them off?
Miele mused, it felt like all she was getting was tricks lately. Where was the candy? Not that she really wanted to complain, but her haul wasn't looking that great, especially for how tired she was getting.

Aster made a face at the school supplies he was getting. He supposed it could be worse and be something 'scary', at least this was pretty monotone for a trick.
Errai snagged the toothbrush and then started off toward the next house. If they were going to get tricks, at least they could try to get to houses sooner to hopefully get better things.
Blithe was a bit excited to get yet another familiar! They definitely seemed to be giving out a lot of the little guys, which was pretty great! She let the creature follow her to the next house in which she received yet another trick. She made a face, but nothing was going to kill her good mood!

Lei shrugged when they got a weird turnip, it was really kind of creepy and he wasn't sure at all what he was supposed to do with it. Maybe he'd toss it when he got back to the dorms.
Giedi was paying more attention to making sure his younger brother was safe rather than Trick or Treating. Of course, that meant that he wasn't getting as much candy, but that was perfectly okay.
Caol didn't say a word as he walked beside Ayida. She lived with him and even though they weren't related they had grown up together, which made her like a little sister. He knew when there was something wrong, even when she didn't say it.
Ayida frowned sheepishly. She knew why Caol was walking with her, he knew that she was in pain, even though she didn't want to admit it. He was a good friend, but that didn't change that she felt bad that she was ruining his time out.
Taboo knew he had to be the oldest sib and look out for his younger sisters. So he took point guard and gave a stern look to the man who was in the chair, ready to spring out on the children. No one was going to mess with his sisters!

Aura hid behind Taboo for a little while, not wanting to get near the scary looking man in the chair. When Banshee had walked passed, she grabbed a hold of Banshee's shirt and followed toward the Trick or Treat bowls.

Banshee was still yet to get anything from the event. She guessed she had just had pretty bad luck. So when she not only got a doll but also a familiar from the next house she was a bit excited!
Atoris didn't like the idea of Trick or Treating without Maggie, but he had no choice this year. It made him really frustrated but the caretakers weren't letting him go with her. They'd pay!

Affinity's treat was a cute little cat statue. He wasn't sure, however, that he wanted anyone to know that he thought it was cute if he did it might ruin his reputation.... So he hid the cat back in his bucket, hoping no one saw.
Trystine wasn't sure how they felt about getting yet another notebook. Couldn't they at least put Hallow's End decoration on it? Well, at least it was a different color than the last one and someone probably meant well. Students did need books after all.
Miele was a bit giddy when she saw her very first piece of candy land in her bucket. She couldn't wait to get home and try it! It looked so delicious. Maybe her dad wouldn't care if she snuck a taste?
Aster made a face when Giedi's group rushed forward and he had to leave. Aster gave his brother a hug and watched him go, dragging his feet toward the next objective.
More candy! That was definitely a score! Errai was glad that their candy stash was finally growing. Hopefully, it would continue to do so! They had a lot more houses to go!
Blithe wasn't sure what kind of candy was just plopped in her bucket, but she loved the colors! She couldn't wait to try it, it had to be wonderful, right? She was really loving everything about this holiday.
The little skull candies that were put into Lei's bucket were actually pretty cute. He wondered if he should even eat them... for all of about two seconds, of course, he was going to eat them!
Recovering from the trip, she noticed she had done it right in front of another freshling and almost blushed. What saved her was the sad look on their face. Had they really just taken the last item from the house. Guilt overwhelmed her and she walked over to them.
“Cheer up. We’ll definitely get something the next house.” She replied in a soft voice. She always disliked talking but she wasn’t sure they knew sign language and she knew her parents wanted her to work on talking if only a little bit. “And if I get the last thing again I’ll give it to you. I have a pretty good haul already. Oh I’m Jin.”
Actually as she was standing there talking to the other hybrid someone came by and handed her another lantern with a fake wisp glow before walking off. Wait that glow was actually moving. Opening the lantern, She noticed it was an actual wisp.

He tried not to linger too long since it looked like the nightmare who opened it was rather tired. He wondered if they had gotten some trouble makers before hand. Due to his manners, they gave him a small smile and handed him a bracelet. It was charmed to sing and jingled when he moved. Eryusa had to admit it was kind of cute. . -------------------------------------------------------------------- Anubis was all ready to go to the next house when he realized that his phone was ringing. He stood back with the caretaker to check his phone. It was his mom just checking in on him. It was the first time he had been gone a good portion of the night and he knew she was worried. He had a good haul or so he though so he stayed behind to text her and tell her that he was okay.
Festive orange lights and cobwebs covered the next house that they planned on visiting, so Pepper figured it had a good chance of giving out good treats. She was in luck. Almost as soon as she had knocked the door burst open and out spilled an over exuberant pair of demons. They cooed at her costume before dropping a handful of candy and a singing bracelet into her bucket. She knew it was a singing bracelet because it was singing "This is Hallow's Eve" as they dropped it in. The combination of things definitely put a pep in her step. Hikito was jealous of the stuff Pepper had gotten for about three seconds. Just long enough for them to grab a handful of candy and a crystal ball into his bucket. Carefully of course. They also cooed at his new torti and he explained that it was brand new. A present in fact. Both of them congratulated him and wished him a happy rest of the holiday so they could give stuff to the next freshling in line.

While the purple notebook wasn't exactly what Kanda had in mind for a treat, it wasn't a bad thing. She could use it to write in. Ooo, if she thought about it that way, it was actually a good treat! After all, she used notebooks, or index cards, fairly frequently. This way she didn't have to go get a new one if she needed one. Now if only she had a pencil. Then she could write in her notebook and communicate with some of the rest of her group maybe. It wasn't that dark after all. Alright, the eyeball wasn't that bad. Red couldn't figure out what it was made of. It definitely kept his mind off the fact that he hadn't gotten any candy yet. How was he supposed to indulge and stuff himself with sugary goodness if nobody gave him any candy. At this rate he'd be asleep before they even finished going through the neighborhood. The little hallowed watched Eli as she acted like her silly self -- that he had gotten to know so far. She was pretty gosh dang cute just being her. However, Exet was caught completely off-guard when she threw her arms about him and kissed his cheek. He grinned as she pulled away, his hand reaching up to touch his cheek where he got his first kiss ever. Not even his mothers had even kissed him. Bouncing back to reality as she panicked, he waved his hand. "No biggie, Eli. I'm just glad you like it so much." He was trying to play little mister cool, but he had a feeling that it would be difficult with her. Whirling about as a kid walked past them, he faced her once again, holding out a caramel apple to her. "Sweets for a sweet girl." Needless to say, he was unaware of his new torti friend.
Squeaking in surprise at the compliment she received, Aly wiggled as she clung to her new plushie. "Thank you..." she said shyly. Her eyes looked to the ground then back up at Veles. She giggled and shook her head as he called his words corny. "Not to me." She fidgeted with her claws and her plushies before taking his hand again to make their way to the next porch where she got a notebook for school! She was loving the school supplies. Still feeling shy as anything, Aly glanced to the side to catch a glimpse of him, then looking away as he catch her. "Wh--where we going next?" the small thing stuttered out as she took his hand again.
Elirian scuffed her toe against the ground, hands clasped firmly in front of her once more. His surprised grin at least made her feel a little better about everything, especially since she had been told on various occasions that she just couldn't go attacking people like that. But Exet didn't seem to mind! As he flourished with his spin and presented her with a caramel apple, she giggled again. “Why thank you, kind prince!” She smiled at him, teasing him just a little bit about his princess comment from before, as she reached out and took the treat with her right hand. With her left, she took his hand and bounced away, spinning about to walk backwards so that she could look at him while she talked. “I heard earlier that they set up a haunted house at the end of the block,” she tilted her head in the general direction of the event in question, “I was wondering. Do you… do you wanna go with me?”
Veles’s eyes widened as she accepted his ultra lame line. With a grin, he accepted all this school crap simply because he had a cute girl with him. Take that, Eli. While he fit his hand comfortably into her paw, marveling for a second over how soft her fur is, he pondered her question. There was a rather vacant part of the street up ahead and there were some chairs set out on the lawn. He was pretty sure the owners wouldn't mind if a couple of kids rested their feet on their lawn furniture. Maybe. “You wanna sit a minute?”
