Shock finally got his stuff picked up with the other freshlings help, he was happy and he went to the next door and got a pretty cool looking toothbrush, it was important to keep his fangs clean so that was kool. He turned to the other freshling to see what they had gotten. He smiled a little and said "Thanks for helping me pick up my stuff. His tone was still gruff as it always was, it was just Shock's tone of voice he didn't really know any other way to speak. He didn't really notice it himself it was just part of who he was.
Andrew was still walking along with the other freshling collecting pencils and other things he liked, to him they weren't tricks they were great presents than again Andrew didn't like candy all that much, so getting notebooks, pencils and erasers was really nice indeed. He smiled a little at the other freshling hoping he wasn't boring to them, they really hadn't spoken yet. Andrew still didn't even know the other freshlings name. He had asked and still waited for an answer, he grew worried the other freshling didn't like him though they had come to say hi to him while he was drawing.
Trystine was a bit excited when they walked from house with a brand new doll! They heard other children freaking out about the doll when they had received one, but Trystine thought it was really cute!

Aster was still hesitant about this whole thing but felt a little better when the gift they had received turned out to be a new familiar! It was slow moving, but that was fine, he wasn't moving as fast as the other kids were anyhow.
Errai pulled out the glass eye that they had just gotten and looked it over. They weren't sure if it was a joke or not, considering they had multiple eyes themself...

Lei shrugged a little when they got the stale popcorn that a lot of other kids snubbed their noses at. Sure, it was gross, but that was part of Hallow's End, wasn't it?
Giedi pulled out some candy from the bag and began to nibble on it. He offered the bag to a few other kids who hadn't gotten any candy yet, since some of them seemed pretty bummed out.

Ayida was happy with her little lollipop even if it wasn't like the plushie that Caol was lucky enough to get. The sucker was rather sweet and made her do a little dance as they made their way toward the next house.
"I do want to play Vesper cats with our kitties!" Rosline exclaimed and slipped her plushies and other treats into her bag to get out her vesper cats. But which cat? She decided on the black one, holding it up high. “Vesper kitties! And yes, I think they have to fly. Otherwise it just be sad for them to have wings and not to.” She nodded, and made her best cat noises. “Meowwww.”'
“And I know she is.” Rosline said. “Just well, she is your twin and that has to be special, doesn’t it? She wasn’t terribly sure about what a twin was really. Other that there was one crystal and then two siblings instead of one.
The next house was decorated in lights! Warm toned flickering lights and jack-o-lanterns. Jamie beamed slightly as he climbed up the steps. He had a good feeling about this house! And he was getting more candy now and it just made him in a better mood. He paused as the nightmare opened the door, offering them a tray of slightly melting chocolate bats.
Jamie picked one of white chocolate and shoved it into his mouth like the rest of the freshlings in his group. It was melting! He licked chocolate from his fingers as he followed the group down and to the next house. Mmmhm.
Arjun hurried his step to catch up to the gaggle of children Trick or Treating ahead of the group he had already collected. There was safety in numbers, and being safe was a definite objective. When he got up to the door and held up his bag, he was disappointed to see what was dropped into it. That wasn't candy! Of course he said nothing, that would be rude, and stepped aside to let the next kid get at the door. He felt something tug his pant leg and looked down to see a Torti. It looked like he'd just been claimed.
Atem sighed softly to himself as he hurried his steps after the hybrid Grimm leading this group he had found himself stuck with. He would normally never follow an impure around, but his father had been clear; if he wanted to trick or treat, he had to go with others. So Atem found a group, and stayed with them. Besides, now they seemed to be heading up to merge with another group, so Atem would then have options. He would still rather have the hybrid than the freak following them around anyway, and maybe soon they'd be able to lose her. He was pleased as punch when a treat went into his bag, and was sure to show manners and thank the lady at the door for it. Manners could get you many things. One of many lessons he tried hard to learn.
Yami kept glancing back at the girl trailing along behind them and sped up his pace so he was almost walking on the geist's heels in front of him. He didn't know who she was, where she came from or why she was following them, but he really wished she would go away, or at least stop giggling and muttering to herself. The front door of the house was a short reprieve, though he barely looked at what he'd gotten before darting away to catch up to the other two. Why wouldn't she just go away?!(Trick and a plushie)
The bakeneko was so pathetic. All these boys were, but he was definitely the most pathetic. So easily frightened. What a loser. Kalia loathed him and wanted to pull on his tail and ears, but she contented herself with freaking him out instead. He was so fluffed up, and it was hilarious! What a dummy! The lady at the door barely looked at Kalia as she gave her a couple of items, and Kalia decided she was a loser too. Most people were anyway. Everyone was pathetic and as long as she kept telling herself that, she wouldn't feel the yawning ache of loneliness.
Tri'yn slitherred off to the next house after taking a short break to get some water after Lavinia had fallen and needed some attention from Sha, all this running around was eating up energy. He went to the next door and knocked. An older nightmare appeared and Tri'yn said the magic words. The older one stuffed something into Tri'yns bag and turned to the next set of kids at the door. He went back a few feet to check out what was there. It was a trick and a cute plushie! He loved the plushie so much he wrapped it around his neck for the next couple of houses.

Lavinia ran across pavement when she tripped and fell on her face. She started to cry when Sha came over. "Oh Lavinia, what's wrong?" she asked comforting Lavinia "My knee hurts, i fell" Lavainia said between sobs. Sha checked Lavinia's knees, they were a little scratched up but there was no blood drawn. Sha picked her up and brushed her off. "There, There, its ok now, see no blood. The stinging go away in a few minutes" she said patting Lavinia's hair. At the moment Lavinia didn't mind that she missed a house so that meant nothing for her.

Karayas was shocked to have won the doll, it felt weird to her. It's eyes seemed to follow her when she moved and it gave her a creepy feeling, one she did not like at all. Sighing to herself she carefully put it in her treat back and started towards the next house.
This house was dark but for one light, the one near the door. Swallowing she slowly made her way up to the large dark red door and knocked. Footsteps, heavy and loud could be heard slowly coming to the door. Her eyes got big and her heart began to pound and suddenly she began to rethink coming to this door. She turned to run down the steps and out the fence when the door opened, there stood a...a....she squinted to make out what stood in the doorway. It was a Imp!!!! They had on heavy boots, a long cape and some kind of color on their face which was smiling although trying no to.
The Imp shook a bowl in their hands and then tilted their head motioning to the side of their porch. There was a few familiars just lazing about, one was curious about her and began to come towards her. Floating about her head it just suddenly stopped and seemed to wait. Flustered, Karayas reached into the bowl and slowly took a yummy candy apple! "Thank you" bowing she turned to leave with the familiar following behind her. Turning to the Wisp, she said "Your my new friend, I will call you bobble!" with that they went on to the next house.
Kalek--
Munching on his bat candy, and his new Torti friend following behind him Kalek was happy. There was a cool breeze, it smelled of leaves, dirt and clean. It danced about his cheeks leaving them slightly red but he did not mind, he loved the feeling. He stopped and bend down to his new friend and said "I did not name you, hmmm I think your a boy so Max? Do you like that name?" with that he scratched Max on the side of his head and looked up at the next house. It gave him a funny feeling one he did not like at all. There was some sort of sign on the gate and when he reached to open it something rolled down the gate from the top and was on a collision course with his shoe. He leaped back, his pulse racing only to see a eyeball staring up at him. It was a eyeball! He laughed at his silliness and bent to pick it up and he swore it blinked at him. Shrugging he put it in his coat pocket and proceeded to the next house, hoping to get more candy. "Max, you hungry boy?" he giggled and walked on.
SnowLily--
SnowLily was happy, she was sticky but happy. She couldn't wait to have something sweet so naturally she began to eat her lollipop before she even got out of the yard of the first house. Giggling to herself she felt giddy. Looking around she saw her group a little ahead of her but she did not worry, she knew she was safe as long as she kept up. The next house seemed to be empty, but on a second look someone moved in the yard. A tall Demon appeared and began to laugh deeply, almost a cackle as the other kids were screeching and running in circles. SnowLily opened the gate and joined in the fun, noticing the Demon was having fun chasing them all around. It was all spooky fun, running past the Demon she saw a table full of treats but before she could get to it the Demon cut her off and chased her towards a different table full of tricks! She looked quickly and grabbed a toothbrush and rushed off giggling towards the gate. Not paying attention she, tripped over her own feet and of course down she went. Rolling over head first she laughed til her stomach hurt, then looked around and bolted for the gate.
Dayanara--
Dayanara felt out of place out here, she knew this was supposed to be fun but she just did not feel like participating. All the freshlings running about someone could get hurt and she felt the need to be ready. Being a nurse was important to her and she wanted to be ready if she was needed. Her wings began to shake in slight agitation, she stretched them out again and began to follow her group towards a large house that was brightly decorated. A small Demoness was sitting on the porch, rocking in a chair smiling at them. Motioning for them to enter, she laughed deeply before several Wisps came out from behind her and began chasing the freshlings around the yard. Dayanara began to laugh, really laugh and began to have fun. The Wisps were quick but so was she. The wind was rustling through her wings, feeling wonderful. The smells, all the different smells were lovely and suddenly she knew why this night was fun for all. She ran over to thw Demoness to thank her but she picked up a smaller bowl and offered it to her. Peering in side she saw something so pretty she shyly pointed to it and the Demoness and handed it to her. A small cracked crystal ball, she did not care if had a crack in it it was so pretty! "Than..Thank you." she stammered and held the ball close to her staring at it.
Dayeon-- Realizing he was not supposed to have that candy at the house before he did not dare walk up to the next one. He felt like he did something really bad and just watched the other freshlings.

Pepper was almost too old to be trotting around in a group of freshlings. She had passed all her classes last week and was just waiting on her grades to come in to know whether she passed or not. But that was next week. This week she would enjoy getting to trick or treat in a group with some of her classmates. There was on boy she thought was familiar but the other couple people in her group weren't familiar. She kind of eyed them a bit. The grim looked anything but happy to be there while the hybrid was practically bouncing with glee.
Pepper didn't bother to hide her smile as they approached the first house of the night. It wasn't too decorated, just a couple gravestones. Ringing the doorbell, Pepper held her breath, hoping to get something good. Last time she had gone trick or treating she'd gotten a bunch of good stuff. The door creaked open and a zombie imp shuffled out to hand out the treats. The creepy doll she got wasn't quite what she was hoping for, but it'd make a good decoration. Hikito trailed after the pale imp that was somewhat leading their group. The academy had grouped some freshlings together to be safer while they were out trick or treating. A good thing too, he thought as he snickered to himself. Aside from the demon, who he'd seen in class a few times, none of the rest of freshlings in his group was familiar. The first few houses would be safe, but after that, he would definitely get some screams out of them. Tis the season after all.
Some sort of statuette was the prize from the first house. It was. . okay, but it wasn't candy like you were supposed to give out! Well whatever, the next house would hopefully have something better. Treats, Familiars & Plushies: 1
Tricks:
Kanda was doubly excited, both tails swishing in excitement. First of all, her dad let her come on her own!! Trick or treating!! With other kids her age!!! While he hung out with one of their neighbors!! That was a big step all on its own. When she had first moved in with him, he hadn't wanted to say hello to his neighbors, much less spend a holiday hanging out with one. The second source of excitement was the whole season. While this month might be cursed to some, she loved it. Not only was her birthday this month, but it was also the time of year that all the spooky decorations came out. They were so much fun to see.
Kanda spent so much time bouncing back and forth between looking at all the houses around and trying to keep up with the group that she completely missed going to the door of the first house. Didn't even notice that she'd missed it. Treats, Familiars & Plushies:

Red wasn't pleased. Not that he didn't want to be trick or treating, but that he had to be in a group. After all, he could go up to people's houses and ask for candy perfectly well on his own. To that end he'd tried to weedle his way out of the group but the caretaker in charge had been very firm. Either he go in a group, and stay in it, or he couldn't go at all. He'd been told that someone would be keeping track as well, so he couldn't agree and then sneak off.
With a hearty sigh he plodded up to the first house, trailing behind the others. The crystal ball he got was alright, he supposed. It was cracked, though, which is probably why it had been one of the 'treats.' Red snarled silently at the closed door, tail swishing in agitation. If you were going to give out treats, they should be something that nightmares would want! Turning around, Red strode towards the gate, pausing when he caught sight of the small torti in the yard. That. . . hadn't been there when they came in. His ears perked up and he stalked forward, liking the pale greens and purples. Well, the house hadn't been a total drag, he'd gotten a new pet out of it, he thought as he picked up the torti and carried it out in his bucket. The torti was anything but opposed to being snatched. It was a curious thing to see the other kid look so... strange about what was normal to him. Did he say something he ought not? Bah. Whatever. He did what he wanted, when he wanted, and anything else be damned. It was pretty cute when Eli chewed on her lip. Even though it was because she was faced with a moral dilemma, it just made Exet all the more amused. When she answered, he was slightly disappointed, but managed not to let it show. "Sure. Lead the way, Eli."
When her new friend hugged her back, Aly couldn't help feeling super happy! She didn't notice it was awkward, or that he was trying to just keep his cool. She liked him already and knew they'd be great friends! She took his hand after letting him free of their hug as best as her big, fluffy paws would allow. "Let's go to that one!" she pointed out to him before just dragging him along with her.
Elirian’s eyes continued to flit between her new companion and the crowds before them as he allowed her to leaf him up to another house. As they followed suit with the troves of children around them, she began to find herself more disinterested. It was fun and all, but the more she thought about it, the more she wanted Exet to show her his particular brand of naughty. Eli had never been naughty before and just the thought was enough to confound and fluster her. While descending the steps from another house, she continued to chew her lip thoughtfully. No one knew her very well so the chances of any of this getting back to her mama were slim. And he was pretty good at it. Having made her decision, she pulled him off to the side and away from the crowds. “Can you show me how to do that?”
Veles just about melted with relief as she didn't seem to notice his awkward social graces. It was nice not having someone call him out on it. Though usually that someone was his sister and she was currently gods know where with that other kid. His lips pursed as he thought about her running off again. He didn't necessarily like it, but Aly gave him no time to further think about it as she grabbed him and practically drug him off to another house. The adult there deposited a quickly melting chocolate bat in his hand and before they even walked back down the steps he broke it in half--well, more accurately, he smushed it in half--and offered the bigger of the two pieces to his companion. “Want half? But hurry up it's melting,” he held it up, trying to keep a good grip on it as it melted between his fingers. It was only then that he noticed a reddish looking torti behind her just kind of staring at him. “Uhh.. Did you have two tortis earlier? Cause that one's staring.”
