Dark Mirror Super Sailor Asuka Currently: Joining Iranea and Hela, checking out some artifacts
Asuka was very relieved to see other swishy Dark Mirror fukus, once they got to Almadel's dim museum of outer space weirdness. There was a lot to take in--all of Almadel's explanations and considerations, and a warning not to break anything. Memory of a thousand episodes of various sci-fi TV shows where the bumbling protagonist ended up in debt slavery to some weird alien because of misunderstood customs or broken objects flashed throguh her head, and she inhaled sharply and unhappily.
No, that was not what she wanted out of this. She wanted a cool experience and maybe some new friends or a neat reward, not...being stuck on cleansing duty for a century or whatever until she cleverly bargained out of it.
But her eyes caught sight of a familiar fabulous goth fuku, and she perked up, weaving throguh the crowd to go over to her friend.
"Iranea!" She said, brightly, and she waved to Irenaea's other friend (Hela). "Hi, I'm, Asuka, we should absolutely stick together because nobody else is gonna look out for us." It seemed a perfectly reasonable assessment, honestly.
She looked over at some nearby artifact, frowning curiously. They looked almost like pottery, though she wasn't really sure, given the "space" of it all--and honestly, like exactly the kind of place a bug might hide.
"I'm gonna check those out real quick, if you ladies want to watch my back?" And she did, moving to take a closer look.

Character: Super Monoceros, White Moon Senshi of PorcupinesAction: looking around Monoceros was still dipping his toes into coming back from his depressive episode. The years-long one, at this point. He still never quite felt safe, being Monoceros, anymore. He feared being caught again. Maybe another forced corruption would destroy his starseed. He didn't know. Didn't want to find out. But he decided that coming to help here would be a good idea. Well, until he realized that of course it wouldn't only be the White Moon here, but it was too late to back out now. He shivered, choosing to stay far away from anyone in black. He needed to find a friend, and fast. His eyes scanned the room, desperately trying to find a friendly face, and hoping he eventually saw something of interest to help them with these kosopod thingies. That wasn't really his focus, though, not when he was too desperate to keep himself safe.

Character: Dunnottar, Page of LysitheaAction: trying to investigate and ignore a couple of certain someones not that that's about to go wellDunnottar narrowed his eyes as Almadel talked. He talked like someone who knew they were very slick, could fast-talk anyone into buying snake oil, a lemon car, some stupid other third thing. He didn't like this situation, not one bit, but he'd committed to helping, so here he was. Trying to keep his derision to a minimum, because the last thing he needed was to get stuck on this museum and not be able to go home, he sighed and started to poke around the museum. He didn't notice the presence of the last two people he'd like to see around here until it was nearly too late—he'd been standing by some fossils, and they were clearly on their way over here. s**t.

Character: Lieutenant VesuvianiteAction: poking around, a little bored Okay, so, aliens were supposed to be kind of exciting, right? Even if he'd prefer not to have them on Earth, sucking up Earth resources, that sort of thing, Almadel was clearly an exception to this, because he had a home he could live on, and even had a museum. That was pretty cool. What was not cool, however, was the idea of stomping bugs. Blech. He sort of lazily scanned the room, wandering about aimlessly, because he really would also prefer not to find any of the bugs and have to squash them. Ew, no thank you!

Character: Corporal FangnylAction: Thinking, following the other Vanguard away from the main room Fangnyl hadn't done much in a long while—not much to write home about, anyway, even if he could. He'd spent a lot of time researching Earth animals, fascinated by them, especially these cats that mimicked Mauvians. But he doubted anyone would be impressed by his research on "enslaved" creatures, these pets. Even if it was mostly mutually beneficial relationships, he doubted he would be seen as sane for encouraging this sort of thing. Alas. He'd decided to come out to help this fellow alien, Almadel. He was... sort of cute, if you liked the... what was that Earth phrase? Oil slick salesman? Sort of "vibe" he had about him. Fangnyl didn't. He knew of Kosopods, though! He tilted his head curiously as the explanation Almadel gave back on the hill; they were going to kill the poor creatures? It wasn't their fault they were the way that they were! Maybe it would be better if they could... relocate them? Capture them somehow? Before he could suggest such a thing, however, they were whisked away. Which bothered him immensely! He wanted to have had the chance to get some kind of traps for the Kosopods, something to carry them away in, put them somewhere they wouldn't be hurting Almadel's priceless artifacts and all that. He frowned at the dim light in the museum, blinking rapidly to try to adjust his sight. Dang. This place... was huge. Huge and beautiful and old, and he nearly salivated with the chance to be in here, to view artifacts, to—but he couldn't. Not when the Kosopods were in danger, not when they posed their own danger to the artifacts. He drooped with sadness at the thoughts, then sighed, and watched Commander Aliez direct some of the Vanguard to a separate room—oh, good, he wasn't the only one here. He hadn't noticed. He made his way over to them.

Cadet LysannaAction: Taking a moment to examine the cocoon on the wall in main room before exiting with the rest of the Vanguard to a side room.Lysanna had been in awe of the immense size of just what appeared to be a main floor in this lavish place. Her eyes tracked the movements as people began to spread out in search of the quarry they had been told to seek out and destroy. Except with the huddle that the Velencians had had, it was determined that they would instead try to harvest some of the Kosopods to take back to Earth. For a moment though Lysanna stayed still as the rest of her people began to weave out for a marked side room. The cadet was very intrigued by the size of the cocoon on the wall and while there were a few people nearby the thing Lysanna merely activated her Comtech to see if it would scan the thing on the wall before tapping her chin thoughtfully.
Once the scan was complete the cadet closed the screen application and moved to follow after those members of the Vanguard that had already gone into a side room. There was hope that besides trying to lure the creatures out with food that there would be a way to crate them up, carefully, without damaging too many items or kosopods in the process.[[ exit to Side Room ]]

Ekstrom, Page of Mercury Action: Going to a side room.
Talk of wonders was a happy little distraction that had Ekstrom feeling pretty excited as opposed to nervous (given Al’s situation and all, and what they were being asked to help with). “Oh, I’d love to take you two! And would love to visit your wonders one of these days. It sounds beautiful. I can only imagine…” The idea of flowers blooming on Mercury was…well, frankly it likely wasn’t possible. But there were other things she was interested in doing for her wonder! And she would have continued with her sentence about wonder, and even commented on going on patrols with them, had Almadel not teleported them the following instant.
Even with the dim lighting Ekstrom could tell the space was quite expansive, not to mention chock full of stuff. Just what, there was no way to tell with the lighting situation being what it was, on top of the threat of these kosopods–did she get that right?–attacking them and trying to eat them alive, so she was very, very curious about it all.
The page looked to Effie when he next spoke, and glancing around she noticed he was right about the crowd and gave a bob of her head. “Works for me. I’ll follow the two of you, if you guys don’t mind…”
Trying to do anything here on her own, even though they were technically in a large group, didn’t feel like it’d be a very good idea.

[ Niflhel, Knight of Saturn x ] Action: Looking for a Kosopod to wrangle Dice: (1st dice is for Niflhel) Niflhel's eyes moved over the crowd as each spoke and Almadel answered; one was replying to what was noted as a threat by Almadel which was interesting but Niflhel didn't stir as he continued to scan the crowd and listen to the chatter.
He also didn't think it'd be good to take them back to his wonder as someone else seemed interested in transporting one somewhere else, to another homeworld or wonder. If Almadel was concerned about them and seemed to know more, he wasn't sure these were a good thing to be messing with.
He also nodded when Almadel said that a one man crew basically wasn't good enough to restore buildings if they collapsed and Niflhel agreed with this. You needed a few hands to rebuild things if something happened to collapse that was a major structure. It's be rather bothersome otherwise. Not to mention that they were worried about their collection and that well was good enough for Niflhel to be at least willing to attempt to extend a hand. He didn't know what he could do but he could try.
Though Niflhel wasn't expecting the sudden jump. as he'd seen Almadel doing something with what he assumed was a projected map of stars or something, it seemed interesting. However, the thoughts faded when he realized they were in a room, which was rather large. He could hear magic humming almost like the hum of electricity and when he saw the nest he made a face. This was not good.
He heard the comment they'd been busy while Almadel was away and Niflhel finally spoke up, "I think they multiplied while you were gone." Though it was largely under his breath. The lights flickering didn't help Niflhel's feeling of unease. This felt very familiar like a trap waiting to spring to him. He hoped they were doing the right thing. He wondered if he could rope one of the critters with his chain and figured it might not hurt to try.--------------- [Sailor Byakko, Senshi of the West x & Sailor Chibi Tea, Senshi of Mice x] Action: investigatingDice: (2nd dice is for Byakko, 3rd dice for Tea) The jumping from one location to another left Byakko feeling a little dizzy and nauseous; she was not a fan of this mode of travel. She looked towards her sister to make sure she was okay before giving a low "wow." She nudged her sister and moved towards one of the glass display cases wanting to check it out.Tea found herself one moment standing in a crowd outside the next in a massive room and like she'd left her stomach back on earth. She looked towards her older sister and made a face. However, when the other went to investigate something cool in a display case she followed suit. "Think we'll find these bugs, they said the bugs weren't that big right?"[Niflhel, Tea and Byakko are free for interaction but -- my availability maybe questionable on this. It was a bit of a surprise to be on the receiving end of a Knight letter so unexpectedly but from what she understood from the message Rainier sent there seemed to be something going on at this Mysterious Merchant’s museum. Acrucis had no idea who this was but if Rainier was there then perhaps she was familiar with him. From what it sounded like, members from all factions were asked to help exterminate something and would be rewarded for their efforts. But a reward was not something Acrucis was interested in and she felt concerned that this might be another ambush like what happened on the hill when the Vanguard generators were used for nefarious deeds and corrupted multiple white senshi with the Chaos contained in them. However, seeing that Rainier was able to send a message of this length, she felt a seed of hope that this shared goal meant that there would be no fighting between any of the factions. Before leaving to where the Squire had instructed to meet, she sent her boyfriend, Tristan, a quick message letting him know that she heard back from an Officer at the precinct regarding her missing friend and would be meeting up with her to go over the new evidence. Not a complete lie but not the full truth later. Acrucis ran as fast as she could and only arrived moments before the group that had gathered was teleported someplace not within the limits of Destiny City. The pull through space was jarring and left her feeling like she had sea legs from the sudden change in location, but some how managed to stand without the aid of a wall to use for support. The Senshi of Prayer scanned the nearby faces looking for the Squire of Mercury but after several minutes of looking she settled on joining the only face in the group she recognized. “Shang…” Acrucis moved towards him and the Venus Page and Chibi he was standing by. “Hi,” she started, sounding winded from all the running she’d done to make it here on time. “Can I- would it be ok if I stuck with you?” She had no idea what was going on and hoped he could fill her in.

Eternal Sailor Oberon of AdventureRoll: 63 Action: Trying to ignore Jet. With Perdita, trying to get Oort's attention. Thinking about trying to get up to the balcony. Oberon clicked his tongue to the roof of his mouth as Almadel basically brushed off his concerns, but Perdita was there to calm him down at least.
“He doesn’t care as long as we meet his end goal. It’s all a bottom line to him,” he growled lowly, although he was speaking in a hushed tone only for Perdita.
Stay away from Jet. That was going to be harder than he would like to admit, but he knew she was right. On his own, he could do very little against a General, much less a General King.
He at least had some distractions when they were taken to the museum Almadel claimed was his, although given the man’s history, he might have stolen it, too.
As hard as it was to ignore Jet, he found it more difficult to ignore the artifacts around them. The flickering, dim light did not let him see everything he wanted, but he could see enough.
“We should try to get up to the balcony. Give us a better vantage point,” he suggested. And if any of the creatures were lingering up top, they could knock them down to the bottom level. Probably.
“Maybe they feed on Chaos. Wait, is that Oort? Hey!”
He almost couldn’t believe it. Maybe he was seeing things. He knew he couldn’t linger around, but if there was a chance to see their friend, he would take it.

Connie, Squire of ChronosRoll: 3 Action: Hiding against Belmont. Saying hello to Targovishte and then whining about bugs. “No!” she squeaked in distress and covered her face with her hands when Belmont teased about going up to space and lighting things on fire. She didn’t really want to light things on fire, but!!
Oh! Belmont!
She gasped and immediately threw her arms around his shoulders as she let out a dramatic sob of distress. She was so happy to see him there. Maybe the bugs wouldn’t be so bad if he was there to help squash them!
Oh, and it looked like another Squire was there who knew him, too!
“I’m Connie-- noooo!” she started with bright enthusiasm, but them sobbed again, hiding her face just as dramatically in her hands against Belmont’s shoulder. She didn’t want to think about wishing they’d brought bug spray! Or when the lights were too dim in the museum to see much of anything.
Oh, but she could hear the creatures. Which meant it was definitely too late to say nevermind.

General Rakovanite Roll: 48 Action: Dealing with all these people and eventually helping Ny
He was absolutely, completely and fully, not surprised by where they ended up. It may as well have been a dark labyrinth of things, but Rakovanite expected that most people here should be well-acquainted with Almadel's interest in stuff. He showed up with more of it every year he visited, and the man's tastes seemed too refined to come from a hovel of nothing. So, no, Rakovanite was not surprised. ...Though calling a hoarder's storage area a 'museum' was certainly a gratuitous touch.
He only had to glance at Narcissus to see the hungry, appraising gaze that wove between the vast multitudes of trinkets.
Oh, if only his lover looked at him like that. Still, it was uncommon enough, and stirred enough sweet affection in him that it hedged the worst of the acute displeasure from Rakovanite's expression, melting into a softer neutrality that he continued to carry as Diasporite stepped from behind him. This, too, brought another thread woven through with a certain satisfaction. In no small part because this was not another showing of 'Rakovanite and -insert Lieutenant here- are in a shitty situation together because Rakovanite had to come save them from a stupid mistake they made without any consultation on his part.'
If it was to be a shitty situation (it was), then at least he had some forewarning.
"Mm, I am afraid I have no time to spare for someone already dead," He hummed quietly, the lilt of a tease tinting his tone as Rakovanite skimmed fingers against the loose tresses at the side of the Lieutenant's head, dragging a gloved hand back through Diasporite's hair until his braid threaded between Rakovanite's fingers and fell away. "So I suggest you try not to wander."
And if Diasporite was setting to work, he and Narcissus should do the same. The sooner this was handled, the sooner they could leave.
He'd hardly turned toward the great mess in front of them, echoing with the sound of an infestation when a body smashed up against his, arms around his shoulders, caging him in. He should feel immediately threatened (there were so many enemies littering the area like so much trash), but nothing struck him as inherently offensive, nothing like pain needled him. So even if he was surprised, he wasn't hurt, and there was no pressing need to respond with immediate aggression. Instead he tried to twist just so to shoulder the stranger away from him, and... And his shoulder wedged up between what he knew had to be breasts.
Every coherent thought skipped completely out of his head, and he went still as a brick until the girl pulled away from him of her own accord.
It took Rakovanite precious seconds to collect any semblance of human function and reboot to something like clarity. Enough for Narcissus' uncertain stutters to find him. He did know this girl- he hadn't really thought they were friends, but she seemed so earnestly excited to see him that he was actually thankful for the dark hiding the rising heat to his cheeks.
"Yyyes, to some extent," Rakovanite answered quietly. "This is Nee. We met while she was chasing down Devour." Not many people had the sort of interest in Youma that this girl had. Not in killing, just in... Well, Rakovanite didn't actually know the specifics of her interest.
His focus swiveled to the man. "You, I do not know."
---------------------------
Corporal Fysarius Roll: 66 Action: Hilariously, same as Nat.
Fysarius' head notched up, grimacing first at the stammering, stuttering Senshi gaping at his Schmoopie, and then to Ny's agent 'friend.' "You're pronouncing it wrong," he informed the General. Which wasn't terribly much of a surprise, he supposed. Ny would not have said her name; she would've written it, and he had enough experience with the English language now to know that two letters could make very different sounds. "You're saying it like it sounds in 'tiny' or 'many'; it's NY, like 'night' or your 'Bill Nye.'"
The General's head canted slightly, weighing him, and then a tiny dip of his head in acquiescence. "My apologies."
He shrugged. It was hardly fair to expect these people to have any proficiency in Velencian names... "I'm Fysarius." He folded an arm beneath the harness to lightly heft Schmoopie a little higher for the group to see, and the distaste at interacting with these people evaporated, like a switch flicking (so sue him for being a proud Father, wanting to show off his creations). "This is Shmoopie! I made him by using fragments of genetic code I obtained from specimens on your planet. Isn't he perfe-"
"You made it-" There was no disguising the incredulous doubt lacing those few notes from the General.
"Yes," Fysarius snapped back, tone hot and body twisting to be a barrier between his precious creature and the humans ogling him. They would be confused and curious he was sure, and if Fysarius trusted them to any degree, he might be happy to go over the process and intricacies of creating such a perfect life. ...But he didn't.
He pet down Schmoopie's head like he was stroking a cat. "But I suppose that's not important for now. We should help Ny. I would love to collect one or two of the kosopods to take home..."
That probably wasn't what the rest of the Vanguard were doing. Fysarius' didn't doubt that most of them wouldn't be able to bring themselves to kill these creatures. Their mission was only to get rid of them; the means didn't actually matter. ...But in terms of efficiency, an 'infestation' meant many specimens. Too many to transport, likely. First and foremost should be success of the mission, even at the cost of a life or a few... Not abiding by that was why they were all Still. Here.
He coughed. Swallowed. Shuffled stiffly to where Ny was shoving things into a pile to give them more breathing room.
"Well?" He glanced over his shoulder to the pair behind him. "Come on, then."
It was actually a little surprising to see the pair do as he bid. ...But he did have a couple centuries of experience on him, so they probably should follow his lead.

General AquamarineAction: Speaking to Akaganeite, then Jet. Checking out some of the paintings. Aquamarine was in no way afraid of Cybele. Even if she had somehow become a Princess, she was nothing to him but one more traitor senshi on a long list of traitor senshi. As far as he was concerned, the White Moon royals were a joke. Ganymede’s capture had proven that. Subdued by two Generals, one of whom had barely been able to remain standing, taking her down by sheer force of will.
He wasn’t even afraid of Sessrumnir much anymore, if he ever truly had been. Cautious, sure, but fear had waned once Jet became a General King. Jet’s power was vastly superior, his existing abilities enough to overwhelm more than one of the White Moon’s strongest at a time, his potential astounding. As far as Aquamarine was concerned, he and Jet were untouchable. He could say what he liked. He could do what he liked.
His interest in all of them—Cybele, and Sessrumnir, and the man who wasn’t Remus—diminished as soon as they were transported to Almadel’s museum.
Aquamarine had been in the Negaverse just a month shy of ten years, but he’d never been to space. Various realms and alternate planes of existence, yes—enough to make him sick of Destiny City and all of its strangeness. But among the stars? Not once.
Until now.
He stared around to get his bearings, kept their enemies within sight but searched for their allies, too. Albite was there; Aquamarine hadn’t seen him yet, but he could hear him. He must be with more of Faustite’s team if he hadn’t come over to be obnoxious in Aquamarine’s face yet. At least he was reliable.
Akaganeite received a brief nod in return, then a, “Stay close. If you search around another room, don’t go on your own.”
Then there were the artifacts, which Aquamarine struggled not to be distracted by. He had known, of course, that there had once been other cultures out in space. The presence of the Vanguard in Destiny City made that obvious now, even seemed to indicate, along with Almadel, that there might be more still in existence somewhere. But Aquamarine had little to do with Almadel, the Vanguard, or their freakishly large Commodore.
Their existence and what it meant had never registered quite like this.
To Jet, he muttered, “Did you really think he meant to do any of the dirty work himself? Leave him. He’d only get in the way.”
Against all attempts to remain focused on who went where, Aquamarine found himself drawn to the paintings. Some of their colors were extraordinary, their subjects beyond comprehension. They were alien in and of themselves, and utterly fascinating.

Super Sailor PerditaActiona: Staying with Oberon, greeting Oort, and casually observing some of the artifacts in her search for bugs. It had been a while since Perdita had been able to make a trip to space with Oberon. The timing never seemed to work out. Either he was busy, or she was. So, despite the dangers, and the anger and sadness caused by Jet’s presence, she was at least somewhat grateful to be out here among the stars with Oberon this time. He would have liked to see Urania. Now they could see this museum together.
It was somehow even more awe-inspiring than she’d imagined, if only because of the sheer volume of things, and the faulty lighting making it so difficult to see. How much more would they find hidden in the shadows?
From subspace, Perdita summoned a flashlight. She turned it on and cast the light around, but stopped her brief perusal of what artifacts she could see to get a better look at Oort as soon as Oberon noticed him. Perdita smiled and offered a wave, pleased to find a familiar face among the crowd. Of course, that face was not as youthful as she remembered. None of them were.
“We should stick together,” she said. “This place is massive. I’d hate to get lost.” Perdita did not at all sound as if she’d truly hate such a thing. She stared around again, enchanted by it all. “We could probably spend days here and still not see everything.”

Botein, Super Senshi of AmuletsDice Roll: 73 Action: Looking around, quite concerned, and rather intrigued by all the displays More and more people were gathering but none seemed to want to fight. At least not as far as Botein was able to tell. When she spotted pale hair, a dark blue uniform, and cloak, the senshi made a face and did her best to just drift as far away from him as possible. He was mean. She still remembered him from their little encounter months ago. Botein didn't get very far before the man at the front of the crowd clapped his hands and a feeling of sudden movement had her stomach flip as motion sickness had her wobble on her feet. It hadn't been like that when she went to her homeworld, or even when she traveled to help those other senshi, so it was quite disorienting for her. It didn't take long for that to pass since her attention was quickly grabbed by the sheer sight of everything around her. There were large glass cases and paintings, fossils, tools, outfits, everything! It really was like a chaotic Ghibli type museum. She was absolutely entranced! The young woman slid over to a glass case and peeked in curiously, the flickering light making it hard to make out what was in the display, even as their host started to talk. It wasn't until he directed them all to look over at the cocoon that she looked up and instantly shivered. Anything that made a nest that big wasn't going to be pleasant dealing with. Not at all. "Do you have any-" She was going to ask their host if he had bug spray or the like when she noticed he had already disappeared on them. "Oh dear," Blue eyes surveyed their surroundings. "This isn't good." ((WC 535))((Open for interaction and a team to work with!)) Sleet Tempest Snape just for mention of spotting Beni
