Open-Fire Cooking - While Lukas can’t cook in a proper kitchen for the life of him, he does know his way around a fire. He likes to throw anything on a stick and put it right over a fire and call it good. Sometimes, he’ll even pull out a grate, or a camping tripod and cook a good ol’ stew over it. Cook-outs bring the best in him, and he can make a hot dog or hamburger. Just… Don’t ask him to season anything. Cook to perfection, but lacking in taste.

Concertina and Hurdy-Gurdy - Lukas has always had a fascination with lesser-known instruments, and currently owns two! Living in the woods as he does leads to very opportune times to play music around a fire. He loves that old medieval sound, and it adds an eerie sound to the woods, which means spooking campers every now and then. When he’s not being a little jerk with that, he simply plays for fun,and loves answering questions about how strange they are and how they work.

Restoration and Repairs - If you got something that’s broken, welp, now you have someone to fix it! He’s dabbled in fixing all sorts of things: Cars, decks, stairs, benches, dolls, dresses, chairs, toilets. You name it, and he’s likely at least tried to fix in one way or another. Part of it comes with the job, but he just finds joy in making things work again for someone.

Virtues:

Friendly -- Lukas enjoys talking, that’s a fact. He loves to participate in his community’s events, and loves even more to be the one who organizes them. He’s the sort of person who will go around and say good morning on his daily run, and make sure everyone is alright. If possible, he wants to be the first to welcome anyone into the park, and let them know that if there is absolutely anything they need, he’d be the first one right on it! This has given him the reputation as the friendliest Park Ranger anyone knows, granted, he’s not officially a ranger at all.

Charismatic -- Being friendly can only get you so far. Luckily, Lukas is also very charismatic with his words. While he tries not to lie, he’s pretty good at directing people to move the way he wants them too with convincing arguments and a charm that doesn’t always move people, but at least makes them a little more willing to listen to what he has to say. It’s a good thing he tries to only use that for good, and the betterment of those he considers his family.

Autodidactic -- School never came easy for Lukas, but what did was DIY Books. Reading it on his own, and then doing it was the best way for him to learn anything at all. He’s a go-to handyman for the park due to the fact that he’s eager and ready to learn what needs to be done on his own. His little room is full of old manuals and textbooks he may have gotten at second hand stores. And when things don’t go so well, he’s learned enough to know when to ask for help, and will try to learn what the professionals do by observation.

Flaws:

Goofy -- Of all things he can be, Lukas has a hard time being very serious in most situations. He takes a playful, light hearted stance on hard problems, knowing that somehow, someway, they will get better with a good laugh, a smile, and perhaps a little bit of hope. This has people see him as lacking any sort of actual brains or motivation to right what's wrong, or that he refuses to treat a situation as seriously as it needs to be. The word 'incompetent' gets thrown around, despite his effort to show he's more than fancy words and a smiling face. Unfortunately, the jokes he throws around only seem to make it worse.

Possessive -- Lukas may be friendly with everyone, but there are some lines that cannot be crossed. The things that are his are jhis, including people, places, and items. He likes to give, but actually sharing is hard, and he does not have enough trust in people to let them use anything he intends to keep for himself. When it comes to people, when they are close, he needs to know what they are doing, who they are with, and why they are doing that in order to stave off any uncertainty that they are looking to leave him. That possessiveness ends up pushing people away more often than not, to the point where it's easier to keep relationships short and simple, rather than being open to everyone.

Private -- One of the key factors of becoming popular, in Lukas' mind, is to keep most of his actual thoughts private. It's hard to get to know him in depth, despite his openness in trying to do what's best for his community. It makes it seem as if he's hesitant to reveal anything about his life off the property, to the point where people will wonder if he's up to no good. Those who try to look closer might find his actions insincere, as he refuses to let anyone know more than is absolutely necessary.
