So the first little spat Mocona had after his long, long time of just outright avoiding any sort of responsibility as a member of Order didn't go so great. Anytime he was told to meet up to patrol, he always came up with an excuse, flaking at the last moment. Yet the ONE time he decided to go out, he thoroughly had his rear returned to him. He survived, of course... A little bruised chest and a few knee scrapes left him not only a little battered, but alot humbled.
Getting knocked out and dragged about by a youma really did just ruin his confidence for a few days... But injuries healed surprisingly fast as a Page, so now it was time to actually focus on his own pride.
Not wanting to bother Hawara at work again, this time, he focused mainly on *avoiding* Chaos signatures. No, there was another thing he was searching for tonight, and that was a little bit of education. Tiptoeing around the hotel district had him end up eventually in a nice little quiet park in the center of them all. Nothing too out of the ordinary, nothing too spooky or threatening, but empty, given the locks on the gates surrounding the park. Whatever cameras they had were busted some long time ago, so even powered up, he was sure he was safe.
So now.. It was just a matter of time before another came to greet him... And fingers, toes, and eyes crossed they were friendly.

Tjilaki had no idea why she even bothered going out this late at night. She wanted to try and be helpful to the cause but she just didn't have it in her to fight anyone no matter what they had done. She had always seen the good in people. The park was always empty when she out patrolling and the only things that roamed around at night were the occasional stray cat or dog. But tonight was different. As she turned the corner, she spotted a figure in the middle of the park. Tjilaki assumed it was just probably a homeless person they did tend to be out at the park getting some rest on the benches. She had started carrying extra food and blankets with her just in case they needed them. (133)

Had Mocona known the missy over there had thought him to be homeless, he would have genuinely laughed at that. But he was no mind reader so when she came into view, he gave a little wave and very casually approached her. He knew just how intimidating big guys could be, even if this one felt stronger than he was, so he wasn't about to give her any reason to want to attack.
"Evenin' there, friend!" His smiles was nice and bright, all teeth and eyes squinted. "You might be one of them there Senshi Right? Good to see another one of us folks roamin' about and just enjoyin' the evenin'. You doin' alright?"

As she approached the figure, she realized it wasn't a homeless person at all. It was a Page. "Hi there Sir." She had always had the most respect for Knights. She found them to be quite fascinating. He must have been out patrolling. 'i haven't been out here long. I has been pretty quiet so far." ((56))

Sir? Oh boy, did he really look that old? Instinctively a hand came up to pat at his face, and he made a mental note to wear more sunscreen, juuust in case.
"No need for the sir part! I ain't no one special or powerful! I'm just Mocona Page of Chronos, as far as I'm aware! Pleasure to meet yah! And there ain't no shame in a nice quiet nice." He held out his hand for the young woman to take and shake.
"Who might you be? Senshi, right?"

Tjilaki took his hand and shook it. "Yes, I'm Tjilaki, Senshi of Icebergs. Nice to meet you, Mocona." She smiled warmly at him, feeling glad to have found someone else who was out on patrol. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Mocona. I haven't seen many Orders out patrolling lately, it's good to know that you're doing your part for the cause." It was nice to see others who took their duties seriously. Tjilaki might have taken her duty as a Senshi seriously but was still hesitant to fight. She just wasn't the violent type. ((95))_

"Right... Doing my part.. Ahahahaa..." He awkwardly rubbed at the back of his head, forcing a smile. He didn't really want to tell the truth, that he wasn't out here to patrol or to 'protect' people. He'd keep that silly little thought to himself for now. She seemed genuinely impressed that Mocona was out here at all, best not to let her down.
"I admit though, I ain't see too much combat in my time. A youma here, a rogue weird cloudy mirror creature there. Iffin I am out and about doing things, I tend ta be with my partner, Hawara. So out and about on my own, it's a lil rare. I'm just a lil ol' page after all. But hey! You know what's always nice? A wee bit of practice, iffin' yah don't mind sharin' some battle experience." She seemed powerful, for sure, but whether or not Tjilaki knew how to use it was yet to be seen. She could have been just like him for all he knew.
Doin' the bare minimum. Cuz at nearly 30 or more years old, he had bigger priorities than patrolling the streets at night.
"Icebergs, huh? You going around sinking ships? Ahahaaa, I'm sorry, bad joke."

"I wouldn't say sinking ships is quite my thing, but I do have a few tricks up my sleeve when it comes to ice and water." She gave him a sly smile, happy to share a little bit about herself. "Maybe I should add it to my list of things to do as a Senshi," She thought about what he had said about practice. "I could always use practice when it comes to battling. I have a tendency to not want to fight and hurt people." She usually will just find a way to make a run for it at the slight chance of danger. ((105))

"Well now, ain't that impressive! I hear ya'll senshi folk get all sorts of magic when you get stronger, so who knows, maybe you'll be movin' icy mountains!" An old Spongebob episode came to mind, delivering pizza on a giant rock, only in his mind, This lil senshi was cruisin' about on a huge chunk of ice. It made him chuckle a little bit at the idea.
"Alright, If you'd like, why not try your magic on me? I'm pretty tough, I think, a little whap here and there will do me some good! And then in exchange, maybe you can let me try a little target practice." To his hand he summoned his weapon, a long length of silk rope with what amounted to a giant stuffed sock at the end. Very soft and light weight, but in his hands, useless.
"Now while I'm pretty darned good at lassoing up some cattle here and there, this is a whole different beast. Silk don't fly all that easy like a heavy rope does!"

Tjilaki nodded, feeling a sense of excitement building inside her. She had always wanted to practice her battling skills, but never had the chance to do so with someone who was willing to participate. "Sure, I'd love to give it a try." She was a little hesitant, she did not want to hurt Mocona, but she also knew that she needed to improve her battle skills. She thought of the lessons that she had and what the guardian cat that was telling her about her powers had taught her. She opened her hands and said her attack. "Iceberg Upraise" Quote: [★] Sailor Scout Attack: Iceberg Upraise Tjilaki rubs her hands together and says her attack. Little cubes of ice form in the palm of her hand. She throws them to the floor they settle to the ground. •If the enemy gets too close a large block of ice pops out of the ground knocking the enemy to the ground. •lasts only for 10 seconds. •Can only be used three times per battle •does not do any major lasting damage •She has to be a close range (3ft) ((99))

Mocona just watched her cast her magic, though didn't quite get it at first. Maybe it was a land mine? Was it a creature hiding away?
Out of curiosity he drew in closer, bit by bit then tossed his weapon at it by one end to see if it would peek out. When nothing happened using his 6ft of silk, he took a step closer, only to be knocked off his feet by the sudden Iceburg attack!
He landed just fine, though he was sure his butt would ache a little later from it. And when he did pull himself together, he let out a nice, hearty laugh right from his belly!
"Oi, you weren't kiddin when you said not quite! It's pretty close though! If I were a boat I wouldn'a stood a chance! That's a damn good move you go there!"

Tjilaki smiled with relief. She was glad that she didn't hurt Mocona. "Thanks, I'm glad to hear that it's a good move." She smiled warmly at him, feeling grateful for his encouragement. A sense of pride washed over her. She had always been a bit self-conscious about her powers, but the way Mocona praised her made her feel more confident about them. "Now it's your turn. Show me what you've got." ((71))

After getting his laughter under control, Mocona hopped up properly to his feet. He was thoroughly impressed by Tjilaki's power, thrilled to see someone looking proud of their powers! One day he'd have his own, but so far... Nope. Still just an old man page.
"Alrighty, All I got now is this silk, but I'm gonna do what I can!" All that time on the ranch had him pretty darned good at hog tying, so the first thing he did was tie that end of the silk into a knot. He then began to swing it over his head, before rushing forward and attempting to lasso Tjilaki's wrist and give it a tug back to pull her forward.

Tjilaki didn't know what to expect. She had never battled anyone who used a lasso before. She quickly tried to dodge the rope, but it was too fast. The next thing she knew, her wrist was caught in the lasso and she was being pulled forward by Mocona. She stumbled a bit, trying to regain her balance as Mocona continued to pull her. This was her first time battling with a knight and she didn't really know much about them. "Oh thats good." ((83))

"Yeeehaww!" Mocona was absolutely thrilled that he managed to catch the Senshi before him! He was about to reel her in and give her a proper hog-tie so he could practice his knot skills, but then his phone began to ring.
Instantaneously he de-summoned his weapon, and turned quickly answer it.
Oh s**t... Oh heck... Oh BOY!
Through the phone he could hear soft but deadly calm voice on the other end. A promise, a threat. And he simply whispered a I'll be back soon, promise. before hanging up and giving an apologetic look to Tjilaki.
"I uh.. I am so very sorry, Missy, but uh.. I kinda uh... Okay, so I may have forgotten about dinner, and my wife called me just now all pissed cuz he just finished up a whole 9 hour shift and I was supposed to have gotten some take out, but uh... Yeah... He's a bit angry. I gotta skeddadle, pick up some burgers, and pray that a milkshake will calm him down some before I find myself eatin' out in the woods and sleepin under the stars. Which is pretty until you think about how many bugs are out there!" He gave a nervous laugh and awkwardly took a step back.
"If you ever see me again, feel free to like, sneak attack or sumthin! More practice makes perfect, and you, lil missy, are really great at what you do! Promise! Now be good, get home safe soon, and eat somethin' nice! And iffin you like, please pray to your lil homeworld that I'll live to see another day, ahahaha!" With one last nervous wave, and a little head bow towards her, he immediately ran off into the night. Around the corner, where he powered down and raced to the closest Smashburger. He could make it home in 20 minutes. Probably.
It was going to be one heck of a challenge, and one he def wasn't ready for tonight!"
