Profile:
Suhail has a mellow demeanor and seems fairly easygoing, if melancholy. He was a Cache Orphan, and he grew up thinking that he was the only one of his kind around, no matter how hard he looked. The lack of any particular "role model" frustrated him, and he became stressed over how he should act. As a result, he experienced bouts of loneliness and depression and tried all manner of things to fill the void inside him. Eventually, he settled on food as his comfort of choice. It was sensually pleasing and could be shared with what friends he had. Unfortunately, that meant that by the time he graduated the Academy, he had become rather heavyset. He still hasn't quite kicked the habit of turning to food when he feels down, so he's probably going to stay that way for the foreseeable future.
During his time in Eldritch (a house he found fitting for himself, given that it was focused on learning about the past), he devoted himself to research on cultures and people of the past in the hopes that he could find out just what it meant to be a Grimm. One day, he found some information tucked away in the Academy library, and he was somewhat disappointed. He wasn't disappointed in what he read about his people, but in himself. The Grimm of the past seemed to be lean, mean, hunting machines, and Suhail was, well, none of those things. He thought long and hard about his relationship with the past that night, and in the end, he decided that he didn't want to change himself completely to match a historical Grimm. If he ever met another Grimm, he'd be happy to make a sort of pack with them, but aside from that, he was no hunter or shaman. He was just a big guy who could feel lonely in a crowd.
As he entered Asterion University, he heard word of others that sounded a lot like him. That gave him a small measure of hope. If there were others that felt the same odd isolation that he did, he would be happy to commiserate with them. Even with his general air of melancholy, he had a lot of warmth to his heart, and he would be willing to support those who needed it.
Nowadays, Suhail can be found roaming the Asterion campus, welcoming new students he finds and keeping an eye out for anyone who doesn't seem happy with the way things are. He enjoys experimenting with food; he's not a completely perfect cook, but he likes to look into what his friends of other races eat and see what he can do with it, especially if it's sweet. Recently he has found that he doesn't like being alone for too long; he tends to become depressed if that happens, and also tends to stuff himself out of boredom. Sometimes, he has idle fantasies of someone he can share his warmth with, and it makes him wonder if someone like him could ever find love. Perhaps that would fill him better than any feast would.
Strengths:
Caring - Suhail cares deeply for those that worm their way into his heart. He likes to check in on them, and he is physical with his expressions of care (expect a lot of hugs). He is very attentive, and he will try to address his friends' needs where he can. If he can't, though, expect a gift of food anyway.
Mellow - Suhail is very relaxed. It takes a lot to seriously upset him, and even so, he may not express it openly or loudly. He is easygoing and rolls with the punches. The laid-back quality makes him seem approachable.
Faults:
Melancholy- Suhail has a slight air of sadness around him almost all the time. It's a side effect of the stress he feels from his perceived loneliness, and even when he's happy, he leans towards the pessimistic.
Yearning - Suhail seems to be constantly longing for something- food, company, knowledge, so on and so forth. Nothing seems to alleviate the emptiness he feels. Even if he did find true love, he would only be 95% satisfied- some little bit of him would still want something.

Profile:
Kelvir started out as a Cache Orphan, awoken and brought directly into the Academy. He was assigned to Eldritch House, which he felt suited him and his interest in other people just fine. He was fortunate enough to have a stalwart Baphomet mentor who was very quick to drill his race's values into his head. Arguably the turning point for him was when he had his first favor "turned in" by his mentor when he was a Junior. One day, his mentor asked for help taking care of his familiars while he was away... but never mentioned when he was coming back. Two nerve-wracking weeks passed, and the mentor returned to well-cared for familiars and Kelvir demanding to know where he went. The mentor merely said that he was engaging in the fine Baphomet tradition of trading in favors, and that Kelvir should expect to give as much as he got. Kelvir accepted that, and the two Baphomets remained friends.
Once Kelvir graduated the Academy, he decided to major in Sociology as Asterion. He was interested in society's workings and what made people tick as they went through the world, and he graduated with ease. Nowadays, he lives in a small house, making friends around his neighborhood and working a desk job. His future goals are a bit up in the air, but he would like to live comfortably, perhaps with a partner or two. He enjoys holding small parties at his house and hosting guests in general, though in typical Baphomet style he expects at least something small in return. When those people don't meet that expectation, his opinion of them sours. Still, he's fairly happy-go-lucky, and if there's no way for the other person to make up the debt, he'll forgive them.

Generous - Kelvir is very giving of his time and resources. He loves to spoil people, lavishing them with gifts, attention, and hospitality. He's known to cook large dinners for guests in his apartment, to the point that he could be making a small feast. Of course, he participates in the fine Baphomet tradition of reciprocity and turning in favors, but that comes later.
Warm - Kelvir is a friendly and affectionate person, and he wants all his friends to feel at home with him. He's got a lot of love to give, and he wants everyone to feel it. [More?]

Greedy - As much as Kelvir loves to spoil people, he loves being spoiled in return even more. He expects to get back as much as he gives, which typically means at the very least you're taking him out for dinner, and he's probably going to rack up quite a bill. He tends to end up taking more than he was previously owed; he'll make up any perceived disparity later, but while he's there he's going to gorge, shop, or otherwise indulge himself till he feels like he'll burst (or drop, or otherwise exhaust himself).
Sensualist - Kelvir enjoys being comfortable, sometimes at the expense of practicality. He enjoys soft textures, delicious food, and cozy company, and he gets a bit whiny when his needs aren't met. [more...]
Suhail was having some problems after the weekend at the ruins.
A Fennekit and a Kidden had followed him home, and his dorm room was starting to get seriously overrun. While he was able to cater to the Fennekit's whims, the Kidden required far more upkeep than he could muster. He went into town with a "one Kidden to a good home" sign and sat on a bench, waiting for someone to come by.
Yes, really. He even still had the marker he used to scrawl out the text. The sign was cardboard. He wouldn't even require payment; he just wanted the goaty familiar out of his room. He must have sat there for about an hour before someone finally gave enough of a hoot to approach him.
Kelvir had noticed the somewhat heavyset Grimm sitting with the sign and the excitable familiar, and it seemed like something he was interested in. He strolled up, all smiles and easy-going demeanor. "Are you really giving that Kidden up?"
Suhail nodded, somewhat unsurprised that a Baphomet took interest but glad he didn't have to sit there and watch the Kidden try to chew through her leash. "Yes. She's too much for a dorm room. You won't even have to pay for her... I just want her to go to a good home."
"Well, you're in luck!" Kelvir said, putting a hand on Suhail's shoulder before switching his attention to the Kidden. "I happen to be in the market for one of these. Trying to get a little more active, you know?" He paused, then added, "Are you sure she's free?"
"Yep." Suhail held out the leash to the Baphomet. "If you want her, take her."
Kelvir accepted the leash. "Thank you kindly! By the way, the name's Kelvir. And you?"
"Suhail."
"Nice to meet you, Su! How about I give you my number? If you need anything, I'd be happy to help. You know how it goes... you've earned yourself a favor." Kelvir pulled his phone out.
Suhail's left ear twitched; he didn't quite know how it went, but he was happy the deal went through. He pulled his phone out as well, and the two exchanged numbers. "Nice to meet you, Kelvir."
