The HQ is normally fairly abuzz with activity, even on quiet days, but today it was even more so than usual, hunters all over are locked in combat with what seems like an endless tide of shadowlings, emanating from what seems from a hole in one of the outer walls of the building. At this point though it is difficult to tell the exact source, sheer numbers within the squirming mass of black obstruct any clear view of their source.
There is a familiar head of orange-red from the mass of teeming black, more notably, the bursts of white light. Six even pillars of light seem to burst from the ground around them, spreading out and clearing a good radius of space, enough for most Hunters that had literally started drowning in Shadowlings to get a hold of themselves. Allan nodded, turning to his assistant. "All right, we're gonna go in, cover for us okay!"

The Sun lead noted Rep in his wake of destruction as he pretty much reenacted his last attempt at Shadow Run, shadowlings scattering left and right, the Sun Hunter being closest to the door of the actual Headquarters. "I trust you and everyone else to fight like nakama."

The area is infested with hundreds of tiny shadowlings, teeming in a thick, unsteady black. They do not seem ravenous quite yet, but they are getting restless, some straying a little too close towards you....

Dakota followed his team to HQ looking around where the suns and moons piled around aimlessly. Shadows haunted the whole area and had him lighting up Chama in preparation for attack.

"Holy s**t there is so many!" The more he swung, the more he felt the bites of the creatures on him. He took out 20 at least...then got swarmed by a bunch more.

Jerry's shoulders tensed, his jaw clenching at the sight of the black swarm, Allan's voice seeming distant for a moment. He took only a moment to digest before instinct took hold, "FIRE IN THE HOLE!" At least he had learned to shout ahead before Roar was swung up onto his shoulder, he crouched at his distance, aimed, and fired.
The resulting blast was more than he had expected, sending him tumbling down the hill towards the leaping hunters and thrashing shadows. He gave a gutteral cry, kicking several back as he staggered to his feet, spotting Dakota amongst the fray. His ears were still ringing from the blast, shouting over it and the battle around them, "WHERE DID THEY ALL COME FROM? WHO BROKE SOMETHING?"

After running from his rooms, Deryk went straight towards the main headquarters on the island. He came to a halt as he saw the place being completely overrun by more of those shadow creatures. Allan was here, taking on the masses.
Quite frankly, this reminded him of the shadow run.
Oh, where was Wilson? He would be thrilled for this. But, instead of fighting, he noticed Jerry off to the side, and decided to try and give him a bit of aid.

Ryan had never tried shadow run, so this was an entirely new experience for him. However, he supposed it wasn't any different than what they normally faced. Aside from the sheer number of them.
"Kat this way!" He called, running off ahead before he spotted one familiar giant among the swarming mob of midgets around his feet. Maybe a little bit of healing would help... "Finally caught up to you." He sighed in relief, tapping the taller hunter on the shoulder. "How's the situation here?" A bit of a dumb question, but he was hoping for some good news.

Entering the field, it was safe to say; that this place was drowning in shadowlings. And here she had thought the dorms were bad for this infestation. She was so wrong. "Where are these things even coming from?" Not asking in anyone in particular, she focused her attention on any critter that dared to step near her. Driving them off with a few shots, she began to question the rest of the facilities well being.

It had been too long since Rep had had a real fight, way too ******** long. Banned from summoning Tracey in spars he'd had no practice against human opponents lately. Bare knuckle fights or shadow run had been his alternatives - he was glad he'd opted for the latter. Levelling the huge axe against the mass of clawing scrabbling creatures was a delight, Tracey was built for cleaving, cutting swathes through the scrabbling masses and did so with enthusiasm that sung in his thoughts. He wasn't afraid, he was having fun.
He still wasn't sure what was going on, one minute he'd been walking, the next there had been a troubling vision. It had been enough to set him on edge, too close to the lapses in conciousness he'd experienced in Harrison's mind. It was when it made him start doubting reality that he shoved it aside and got down to fighting, he couldn't afford any ******** existential crises when there was work to be done.
With a snarl of effort he leapt into the open space left by Allan's arrival and attack, shaking off the clawing tiny hands trying to hold him back, ignoring the way they bit into his his compromised fear shield. With a sweep that bowled a whole heap of shadowlings over, he spun and cleaved them hard. They had to keep the place clear, kill enough, they'd stop, he had to count on it.
Still, there was something missing and he found himself resenting every tiny set of teeth and claws that was too near to fend off, like a t-rex slowly nibbled to death by raptors. He probably needed backup.

Managing to grab pants and a coat, Jason had sprinted out with the others and headed towards the main HQ, where he could see a mass of black as well as his fellow hunters. Not to mention Allan being, well, Allan. He heard the orders, and watched as Rep took over for the sun division leader.
He could see that he was looking tired, so the moon trainee ran over to assist the sun hunter.

Jerry's head was spinning as he fired, trying to make sense of the whole situation. As Deryk slapped a bandage on him, he jumped, almost attacking the Death hunter before it registered who it was and what he was doing. "Ah... th-thanks!" He managed.
Finally, Allan's words sank in as he spotted the flash of Rep's weapon. The Sun Hunter had left him in charge??
They were all going to die.
Using Roar to bludgeon a few as he crossed the battle field to get closer- but not too close- he called out, "Well, what's the game plan, boss?"

The heal from Jason was an unexpected boon, especially from a guy he'd chalked up as gunning for one of his men. It would make sense to just let him die if that was the case. Maybe he was trying to get into his good graces and THEN stick the knife in.
He had a point, so for the time being Rep simply gave Jason a gruff nod and an affirmative "Ta mate.", using the slight breather to get his bearings.
Jerry got a baffled look for his snide comment, but Rep didn't miss a beat, still on his guard. "Boss? Try comrade dipshit. The plan is whatever we ******** think we need to do here. I vote beating these ******** to a jammy pulp."

Rep was there, and Harrison was damn glad to see him. He grinned at Jordan, before brandishing B0nez and slogging through the thick of the shadows towards him.
Finding his place at Rep's elbow, he steeled himself against the mess, hacking down a shadow that was munching their way under Rep's swing.
"You're up early," he smirked.
Jason was nearby, on med detail. Harrison gave him an appreciative nod before knocking another shadowling out of close range.

"He was saying to be ******** careful is what." Rep said, catching a shadowling with the hook on the end of Tracey before lobbing it several meters into a pile of it's peers. "As for the ukemawhatever, we can be grateful for small things I guess." There might be nothing left salvagable of deus, they might be eaten out of house and home, but at least it would be quiet.
Another bundle of shadowlings surged forward like one creature and got in under the deadzone range of Tracey, forcing him to try and kick them away as best he could - it was a tactic that was rapidly failing. "I hate these ******** things." he muttered with just an edge of anxiety, there was a lot of them - more than there seemed to be before. "I don't have a ******** clue where they are coming from either."
He wasn't as lighthearted as the guys when they arrived on the scene - the giddy euphoria of combat had long ago started to wear off and he was settling in for what looked like the long haul. He couldn't help the relieved grin as Harrison joined him, but he was already looking a bit less relaxed than usual. "Aye. Had a bad dream. Wanted a walk. Got this instead."
He snarled with the effort as he brought Tracey around, not even giving Harrison warning, simply expecting him to fall into step as he cleaved it into the maximum number of the little shadow bastards he possibly could. He was about to ask if Jordan was with him when Jordan too showed up, laid back aswell. He frowned and gave him a pretty serious look. "Oh aye, there's ******** oodles." he snarked irritably, his shield was too low, he didn't feel like this was a game, the stakes were running high.
