<< Personality Part Hecate, part Despoina and part Tia Dalma. Only this time she is not always veiled, purely aloof and studious. This goddess was once a wide eyed curious girl, with a love of adventure as well as books. Many qualities of that girl remained as the old joined the new, becoming something crafted of both of them. Keme has her ways of twisting words, views, and visions, making you see the truth of things or simply options may not have considered to be possible. Of the Mysteries pair - she is the Revealer and often she deals more with the past than the possible futures. Sometimes she will be lost in the flow, but she always finds her way back now that there are reasons to remain grounded in the present.
<< Powers Minor Black Box - Playing on her being the truths unfaced: if she has the names of mortals or ageless involved in some scene in history, she can focus and then produce a bauble that is a stone tape/black box of a small amount of a conversation between those two people from a specific space of time and it will be exatly their voices. Minor Between Stone Lines - This allows her to focus on an already existing object, such as a stone tablet and 'read between the lines' that are actually written and discover the hidden intent of the writing. She has to be able to read the language herself. Deity -> All Meanings
Asedri was the half-fae daughter of Tyr "Itzal" Eirys and a distant descendant of the ancient, and mad, unseelie queen Tanaquill. In a round-a-bout way she has belonged to Lady Mystery since birth. In the tradition of her mother's people, the Quelos'nira clan, shortly after her birth she was bound to a (literal) spirit animal. The one that chose her named himself Soterios. The truth of it was once upon a time he had been a messenger creature of Kemetzefanya's but time had diminished his strength and he needed to latch onto someone of power to survive. She felt like his creator and that was enough to cement his choice.
In the beginning Asedri was quiet, sneaky and inquisitive, qualities that earned her the nickname 'Mouse' from Tajnevaki. She was still young when she accepted his counterpart's gem. Keme would have been content to wait until she was grown so she could have the life she deserved after so much sadness, but danger forced her hand. Exertion of the goddess' power awakened the Mouse's fae gifts early and her body raced to maturity to catch up. She was a girl trapped in a woman's body, leaving her feeling awkward and unsure of herself until goddess and host began to meld into one.
They truly became one before her voice fell to silence. Her spirit shines through in Keme's more outgoing nature, childlike curiosity and penchant for mischief.

Zinnia "Zodiark Brejand" - Kemetzefanya's remaining child, Zodiark was considered to be 'Darkness of Mortal Man' by his own people - but no more. He sacrificed all he had left to give his home peace - banishing primals, unchaining the fates of his sister's followers and his own, if any remain. He carries the gift of words and when coupled with his nature to read into the unseen he is able to decipher lost written languages with a greater speed than a mortal would. It aids him the rediscovery for forgotten magic as well as building his own spells. (Played by Zero Dream)

And of the past...
Edelweiss "Auvroix Brejand" - A mortal elezen who spent much of his young years trying to woo Keme and win her favor, not realizing her true nature. His brilliance, continued devotion and charm marked him as one worthy of her attention and she fell a little bit in love. After he was raised she bore twin children - Zodiark and Hydaelyn - the Darkness of Mortal Man and the Light of the Divine. Originally he knew nothing of the Fading, only that his Heart had left and not returned one day. Once his children were grown he left to search for her only to learn of her Faded fate. He gave up his life to Harmodius on the hopes that she might someday reappear.

Kemetzefanya shares quarters with Tajnevaki and Akakios as well as their guests- the overall description and maps are in Tajnevaki's journal.
A'kritia ('The Hidden Owl') holds even less sway over the Mir'eshu now than she once did, her followers are limited to some of the remaining priestesses and historians. Some of the other survivors might recognize her symbol but they would not be able to put a name to it.
She was the one who gave them the way to allow Ophidia's memories to pass undamaged through the ages. The price was that when the memories were passed on to the next priestess the 'host' personality was mostly suppressed- becoming Ophidia meant giving up one's life for the good of the Mir'eshu people. The choice of the next was always up to the current Ophidia. The transfer was always done willingly, or the memories simply would not 'take'.
The Owl also began teaching the priestesses how to defend themselves, believing they should learn because one day it might be useful. Every priestess is given a pair of bantos rods as part of their initiation. They were worn in a special pouch on their hip for most ceremonies, though it was not until recent times that anyone outside the priestesses learned what they were really for. The weapons are of simple design- rods made of dense wood with leather wrapped grips toward one end.
Her last major contribution was in teaching the priestesses how to obscure the larger shrines so the uninitiated would not be able to find them. Something that may have seemed a bit much at the time but it came into use later after most of the remaining Mir'eshu had fled to Eshurian.

Kevin Camden - A kind and loving Historian, a scholar, of the Mir'eshu people. He did his part, and more, to ensure the survival of his people that remained on Aejiss. I have asked him to take Ophidia's place as the spiritual leader of the Mir'eshu and share with him the power his predecessor should have had from the beginning. I respect that he needs time to make his choice. Does he know that his daughter and son-in-law have already walked into eternity with Eshu? (Played by Zero Dream)
Aichen Honeybrew - A pandaren monk, a healer and prophetess (of a fashion.) She is always taking care of others whether it is cooking or tending their wounds. Aichen is kind of like a big sister to me. She is also one of the gentlest souls I have the pleasure of knowing. She is one I hope I might be able to keep in the future. But these things take time and I have not yet breached the subject. (Played by Zero Dream)
Hydaelyn Brejand - So named 'Light of the Divine' of her father's people; she was was a child of Edelweiss and Kemetzefanya and twin to Zodiark. An immortal of much charm and charisma, loosing both her parents turned her bitter, cynical and full of despair. She tried once long ago to end both herself and her twin, only to split their home world into many mirrored shards. While healing, and biding her time that she might try again, Hydaelyn used her talents to amass a following of her own on the world that she and her brother were tasked with guarding. Keme's unexpected return prompted her to reexamine her past actions and already being so weak she chose to fade away, bequeathing what remained of her power to E'speranza Rejah.

The Child Gods Akakios :: Lament - Mela. My love. Even after we are one we will both be here for you, always. Caelia :: Augury - I had never met a tiny goddess before, it certainly was an educational experience.
The Nine Dragon Kings Xun-Jiang :: Lifewater - As strange as it is he is one of my best friends.
The Aoidei Enjiron Vryce :: Aoide to Tien - Tien's lover, he is just as bad as she is. His heart is in the right place though.
The Mortals and Others Madrigal :: Mystery's Son - My little Mad Raven all grown up. I am sad for the years you had to loose, but I am glad the damage is undone. Priscilla Turlen :: Carpediem's Host - I always wondered how you could have made the choice you did, now I understand. A lot of this is in chronological order, but some of it is not. D:
Goddess of Mystery Kemetzefanya 'Keme' to most of you folks, unless your name is Tajnevaki, Akakios or Harmodius.'God has hidden a secret.' ....Title Your choice. ....Gender Female ....Hair Long hair please. It could even be Echo long eventually, mebbe. One thing she does have is locks of Kios and Taj's hair braided into her own in the front sort of like one of Kios' braids. ....Wings/Tail CC ....Gem A flat and smooth piece of Nebula Stone. ....Text Color#90a982 ....Color Palette Something like this maybe? ....Lineart Edits Not really an edit, but perhaps she could have some henna inspired designs on her hands/arms and feet maybe?
Inspiration drawn from the priestesses of old as well as Tia Dalma from Pirates and the Abbess (or that story section in general) from Cloud Atlas. Also Asedri is physically grown up now, but still sort of tiny~ her figure isn't the most womanly so it would be amusing if Keme ended up looking moreso.

Secrets of history, of mythos, the sacred truths of priests and priestesses.
The feel I get from her has changed a good deal from my first impressions- mostly from her slow blending with Asedri. She still enjoys her studies and research but now she seeks first hand experience as well. Blending in, disappearing and observing or occasionally interacting. Less priestess niche and more worldly, though some aspects of it remain. It has given her a good deal more depth I find.
