DEUS EX MACHINA PERSONNEL FORM The Hunter Name: Hazel Jaeger
Nicknames: N/A
Gender: Female
Age: 20
Height: 5'2" (only because of her obnoxious hair)
Category: Moon
Personality:Eccentric – Taking after her father, Hazel is a tad bit quirky. Whether it is her obsession with bottling “specimens” she finds around her (such as mold, chewed gum, and dust bunnies), covering her larger freckles with a band-aid, or sticking small objects (pens, personal container of band-aids, sticks of unchewed gum, etc) in her unkempt hair for safe keeping.
Tomboy – Hazel does not care for being dressed up all girly, never uses make-up or even brush her hair. She’s not afraid of getting dirty (with dirt, blood or other bodily fluids), having a few bruises, or noogies on the head. Despite her petite body structure, she likes to consider herself as one of the boys! Strong. Daring. Brave.
Physically Enthusiastic – The will is strong with this one. She likes to take on physical challenges head first. Whatever comes her way, she is willing to confront it with her full body. Literally.
Child-like Simplicity – To be added
Innocently insensitive – She's brutally honest. Without an understanding of other people’s feelings, Hazel tends to ask, pick, and prod about their personal information. Though she doesn’t intend to be mean, she is just clueless to the things people might generally be sensitive to (such as pointing out they are fat, or balding, asking why they have such ugly teeth, prodding them to tell her their most traumatic experience, etc).
Pack Rat – She collects everything, and by
everything, it really is
EVERYTHING. Her pockets and pouches are usually 80-90% full, sometimes even budging at the seams if she's been going on a collecting spree. Usually only her most precious or favorite items are held in her nest of frizzy hair, unless she ran out of room in her pockets, then she will house miscellaneous items she finds in there as well. She figures that everything has a use, even if it's just a half broken button or a bottle cap.
Filthy - Do you remember
this dirty kid at the end? That's Hazel. Because she's usually getting down and dirty with the ground and everything else, she's always covered with stains, dirt and dust. Not very hygienic by any means. She avoids taking showers as long as she can because she hates getting her hair wet, and it takes her too long to clean out her hair (and all the items and that jazz). If she has to, she'll wash her hands, though.
Need to build more on her personality...Why did your human character choose to become a Hunter? Hazel did not have much of a family since she was young, with only a father to care for her. Her father was a lab scientist with great ambition who raised Hazel as a single father after her mother had feared Hazel’s “sixth sense” and abandoned the young child. She was often made ridicule of her “ability to see creeping shadows” and had difficulty making friends. Hazel grew up as an only child and her father was pretty much the only one who supported and cherished her. In result, Hazel became quite the attached to him throughout her life, and without a motherly influence, she inherited some of his quirks as well. While her father usually was off in the basement, inventing his newest creation, Hazel often found herself acting as his mini lab assistant while being mindful of the shadows lurking around the corners of the room.
As Hazel grew older, she was still daddy’s little girl. Until one day, something went terribly wrong when her father died in a freak accident when testing one of his experiments. Though she could not prove it, Hazel suspected it was more than just a faulty experiment that had killed him… When the opportunity of becoming a hunter presented itself to her, she was determined to seek out information about these shadows.
