Unfortunately for those who meet him and find themselves drawn to his irresistible nature, Qahwa is not a person to stay in one place for too long, and the longer he stays still, the more he tends toward the extremes of his personality.

Nevertheless, he is a proud lion and unwilling to admit to his weaknesses, thus he turns his willpower on himself to force himself to do things he finds repugnant. He will also develop a definite skill for bluffing, which is probably the only way he is able to convince his brother that he's still superior and a worthy competitor. He has no problem using his bulk as an intimidating factor to avoid violence.

In this he can be a little naive and easily taken in by damsel in distress-types. Every so often he has fits of self-doubt that manifest in a manner that bears a close resemblance to despair, but he's usually able to bring himself out of them. He isn't fearless, but he can be brave. He doesn't like to be alone.

Isti obsesses over things like the difference between "it's a pleasure" and "it's nice" or "I'm sorry" versus "I apologize."

When he's not there, Saa can be found most often in the shade of the temple, watching the pride's goings-on and engaging people in casual conversation. He has a somewhat morbid sense of humor and spends a lot of his time covered in mud or with bits of dried mud caught in his fur ("It works to keep hippos cool, right?") so he can give the impression of not caring about his looks, but he's just practical. I would be amused if Anwar and Gintare had another meeting so they could trade more insults and be snappy at each other. Perhaps he trips over her coming back from collecting his cubs from the demon pride or something and they have that 'Ugh, you again?' moment.
