-Ajmal knew the pride ideals... wasn't even one to really question them. They had been rules forged by strong and valiant lions, necessary rules to deal with a past event that had torn apart a once strong pride. But nonetheless.. Ajmal occassionally felt himself agitated by inclusive nature of the pride. It was hard to keep track of who he was related to.. and sometimes it seemed as if he was related to just about everyone.
He'd spot a female that he began to mull over adding to his harem, only to find out that she was some uncles daughter he'd not yet met. Or more obnoxiously... lions he'd FAR prefer to completely ignore would feel it their right to talk to him and bother him just because they shared some blood. Blehhh...
Having found himself a fairly secluded rock in which to lay in the shade of, Ajmal settled in with a sigh. Maybe he'd get lucky and noone would come this way today.-

Luck was evidently not with Ajmal that afternoon. Though it might have been some consolation to the adolescent that the lion who would encounter him wasn't particularly enthusiastic about the idea of running into any more people either. His fits had been coming increasingly frequently with the increased pressure he was feeling as a result of his impending departure from the pride. He knew he had to be superlative, but with his diminutive stature and slight build he would also have to work much harder than any of his siblings to bring back a banu which would impress their father.
He really just needed to get away from his family and their petty competitions and slights and...everything. He was so eager to get away from the pride for a while, and especially from his family, that it was almost like a physical ache. And yet it was not yet time for him and his brothers and the rest of whomever to depart. Which meant he had time still to finish taking care of. He wanted to spend more time with the one family member he did like, his half-niece Bad, and also learn more about hunting. He didn't want to starve while he was out in the rogue lands without a banu to provide for him.
He was walking and reflecting silently on a recent development regarding Bad and their shared affliction when his attention was captured by the figure of one of his family members settled on a rock. Mirsajadi huffed in annoyance. He'd come here because he'd thought the place fairly secluded and unlikely to play host to anyone else.
