8/12/2012: Sirenz eyesight is back so can now work on pets. I was on a hiatus because my vision was blurry due to taking this medicine that gave me a side effect. Just so everyone knows, I'm still the owner of this shop and Mindsend/Malhith are co-owners that help me tremendously. I had to leave for a bit because I had medical issues but now am back in full force.

Mar 14th We now have a new co-ownership agreement thread located here. The old one has been archived and locked for now. You don't need to repost your agreements in the new one but can if you have changed the agreements since. Both co-owners need to agree if any changes are made and staff is to be contacted. The reason is that people were getting confused and were bothering Mia Firestorm, who no longer works at the shop. Hopefully having a new spiffy clean thread will make things less confusing for everyone! ~SiSi

Dec 3rd The Scouting thread is now open. Click here to submit an application. We are trying something different for next year's hiring process by just having an open thread with no set ending date. On Dec 6th, Sirenz is having surgery so is trying to get as much work done beforehand as possible. For 2-3 days I'll be on doctor ordered bed rest but will continue working on stuff when I'm able to sit up without pain. It is for bariatric surgery that will be done laparoscopically so it won't take as long to heal. Thanks for the patience!

Mar 5th: Thanks to the 3 people who nominated for the spotlight. I was a bit alarmed at such a small turn out when an expensive sealed letter is at stake for a prize. Well, anyhoo, we got our spotlight winners that I'll be announcing shortly.
Mar 1st: Mindsend has been promoted to Elder colorist. We are all so proud of this awesome staff member. This Sunday at 7pm CST there is a staff meeting to discuss some issues. The Spotlight Awards program is back this month so please PM Tasunke your nominations for pet, teepee and staff spotlight. Make sure to give reasons and include the teepee link and pet image. To encourage more people to nominate, there will be a raffle for a sealed letter conducted among all who sent their nomination PM in to Tasunke. eek The deadline for the nominations is this Saturday at 5 pm CST so act fast.
=March 6= Last Sunday Felmino, Samuality and Sabin Duvert were promoted to Senior staff! 'grats! =March 1= Starting today (March 1st, 2010), you must roll stats in order to have a Soquili added to your teepee! If you do not want to roll stats, we will not add your pet to your teepee.
Also starting today, you may not roll stats for a Soquili already in your teepee. If you RP, the pet will gain stats as normal, going from nothing to a flat 10%. You can still get bonus stats for that pet.
=Feb 25th= Hey all! The Val event is over so 'grats to all winners. We had a very successful turn out in all events. The only thing that bothered me was the lack of RPed pets in the breeding raffle I conducted. In this shop only 20% of pets are being RPed currently so if anyone has ideas on how to encourage more ppl to RP then please PM Soquili. Some ideas I have to attract those who RP to the shop are more RP contests and having some RP prompted pets in the flaffles we been doing. Other ideas include marketing to everyone the benefits of RP, which gives an increased chance of getting 3 baskets, 4 if your pet is made elder, chance at getting pet spotlight/teepee spotlight, building friendships and having fun.

=Jan 13th=Angmar's Familiar shop is now open! A thread that details the kinds of soquili has been made here. Due to the overwhelming response we got during the July custom event, we've been going through the rounds in order to find a new set of custom prices - and we've made great progress regarding such! Starting today, there is now a Thread, regarding custom pricing, and rules, in the guild.
For the time being, though, custom edit prices are still in flux, as are the definition of what constitutes the various levels of edits, so during the next few weeks, we'll be hammering out the kinks and bends in the thread, so keep your eyes peeled!
ALSO after a few days of humming and hawing the staff have completed the hiring phase! Please help us welcome ~InfinityTrust~, LittleDream, Mindsend, and Tooaya as new junior colourists and Angmar as new familiar colourist!
=Jan 12th=Rule change has been made to Breedings - Specifically to Low Luck couples. We have changed this rule to make it fairer for those who have not been around since Low Luck was introduced, and to take away the penalty for not entering consecutive months.
•Soquili who have entered 20 or more times but failed to get baskets are Low Luck
Low Luck couples are eligible for special "Low Luck Only" slots which are offered by colorists for those who have had no luck in getting a breeding, to help offset the fickle whims of the fates. It's suggested you keep a list of links of breeding slots you have entered but not won in a journal or teepee for easy reference. When a couple gets a breeding slot their Low Luck counter resets, you cannot use any prior raffles to count towards being Low Luck. Missing a breeding raffle or switching your entered couple does NOT negate any previous entries you had towards Low Luck, only getting baskets for the couple (by any means, gold, RL, bribe) will. Each thread you have entered for breeding slots in but failed is one "point" towards being Low Luck, regardless of how many are in the same month or how many colorists were offering slots in the thread.
This new rule has been added to the Breeding Information Thread and is retroactive, so any threads you have entered for but not succeeded since your last baskets for a couple count.
=Jan 10th=Jan 11th (tomorrow) at 7pm CST is the last date for all forms for Soquili owed by departed staff to be turned in the Departed staff workload thread. Those who did not post their forms in that thread by the cut off date will have all customs that departed staff owed refunded in full (please contact the colorist if they have not refunded you, if they do not reply please PM Soquili.) Breeding growths and freebies will be completed regardless. Also new staff will be hired from the applicants thread so make sure to get all breeding plushies in if still considering employment at this shop. There is a master CC thread in the Services guild (breeding section) so please post your couples soon. Expect lots of breedings and customs to happen this month and even more next month. This is a fresh start for the shop this year. Our number one priority is valuing customers. <33
=Jan 3rd= Rita Zyon has won the Blue Moon soquili raffle! 'grats! There is a staff party tonight at 7 pm CST, not mandatory. An official staff meeting with be Tuesday at 7 pm CST, followed by another chance at Sunday at 7 pm CST if you couldn't make it.
=Jan 1st= There is a new year of soquili with many changes coming soon such as new pricing and more new staff. <3 There was a SiSi Santa raffle for all December shop posters today. Here and here is the raffle and winning posters. 'grats! All gold/letter prizes have been sent out. Send all forms to Sirenz if you won a pet. All NCS get a Christmas bonus in their pay for the month of December and were paid today if they posted their work in the workload thread.

=December 29th= There is a cut off date of Jan 11th at 7pm CST for posting of all forms that departed staff owe in order to receive your pet colored by a current staff. . Please post your form in the departed staff workload thread (first post of this shop) before Jan 11th to ensure you will get your owed pet done by another colorist.I have begun sending out PMs to owners that I have found that are owed a pet from departed staff. On a lighter note, applicants were moved to rank 3 and we will be choosing 3-4 more staff Jan. 11th as well. <3
=December 25th= Sabin and Felmino have been hired and they are now working on departed staff pets owed. A big thanks to these awesome peeps. =October 31st=As a general reminder for people, ownership of the third basket from a breeding cannot be built into co-own agreements and enforced if that Soq later breeds and produces 3 baskets. Ownership of the third basket is determined by the owners of BOTH parents, not just the owners of a co-owned one (see page 81534)
=October 27th= There is a Halloween event going on so click on the above link. The shop welcomes Yayoi to the staff as the newest familiar colorist to assist Astra and Hanyous. =September 29th= SiSi is thinking of starting a Cafe Press soquili store where you can buy t-shirts, mugs and other things designed by her and other colorists. I made a poll to see if anyone would be interested in that. I sent out lots of WIPs and finished pets along with free familiars so please continue with the patience while I get everything done. There will be a Halloween event starting in an estimated 2 weeks from now so I hope everyone is excited!!!
=September 22nd= Catch up month is almost to a close but still continue your patience for things owed since lots of colorists are starting school and other RL things. As a thank you to all who been patient with Sirenz while she gets stuff done, there will be a free randomly colored familiar delivered along with your pets. You can give this familiar to another of your pets or to a friend. I'm thinking of doing one of my custom pets on livestream so everyone can see how I edit and color. I'll post a date and time when I do it. That will help me make working on pets more fun and interactive. I get so lonely when I'm cooped up in my room. The first newsletter will be going on either today or tomorrow. I hope that folks will continue to post RP content to give the newsletter some material. I may draw a comic strip while watching Vampire Diaries tonight and then scan it in. *huggles to all* exclaim If you want to submit RP related things for our next newsletter click here
=September 3rd= This weekend SiSi will be at AnimeFest with an artist table to hopefully sell the rest of the stuff I had at A-KON. If any owners come by my table then I will give a prize to you. I'm not expecting to see anyone so if you do come then surprise me! My table will be close by the entrance and I'll be dressed like a kitty. Catch up month has officially started so don't expect any breedings or customs. The colorists need to get caught up so they can keep you happy with finished pets and start on the Halloween event. I hope everyone has a great Labor Day weekend. I won't be online that much this weekend on AIM, email, twitter or Gaia. I'll try to pop by at night to work on stuff owed but won't be able to chat all that much. *sends out luff*
=August 24th= We had a staff meeting last Monday before SiSi's internet went kaputsky (but finally the repair dude fixed it. w00t!). An important topic discussed was the October event and that September will be an official shop-wide catch up month. No new breedings or customs will be opening the entire month of September so everyone can get caught up. We had a big custom event so all colorists need to have time to work on the 150+ customs ordered. *falls down* SiSi's net works now so is continuing her work on things owed as well. I wasn't able to work on stuff while the net was off because I had no forms saved on my computer. I'm now getting everything together so if you need to give me more references or info on pets that you ordered through RL commissions with me then email those changes now. Also, I'm in the DVD of the October issue of Imagine FX so click here to see. YAY!!!!
=July 30th= Everyone on staff is still catching up with pets owed. This Monday night SiSi will be leaving on a family vacation to the coast to celebrate her mom's recovery and sister's birthday. I'll be back either Thursday or Friday so until then and after I'll continue with pets owed. While I am gone, Cuter and Cajmera care for the shop so please mind them. Cuter has my phone number so can call me if there are any problems. Note to colorists: I paid for another year of photobucket pro so there wouldn't be any problems with uploading or image hosting.
=July 24th= SiSi's mom is finally cancer free after having a second surgery yesterday! YAY! To help celebrate there is a raffle with a very pretty pink ribbon uni here for 24 hours. I feel a lot better so am trying to get caught up with things owed. This news is a truckload of stress and worry off my back.^^;

=June 14= A big thanks to all who contributed in the questionnaire to help make the shop a happier place. Cuter will be having a live raffle so visit the questionnaire thread for details once she can set this up. Everyone needs to pat themselves on the back because the shop has been drama free for nearly a week! w00t! Next week there will be a shop birthday event to celebrate Soquili's 4th anniversary. I'm thinking there will be a small art contest, rp contest, craft contest, cooking contest and other cute events of that nature. There is a sign up thread to submit two of your favorite soquili for the art contest here. If you want to contribute any 4th birthday well-wishes or gifts to the shop and staff then go here. I hope everyone is excited for the birthday event. I know I am! I can't believe the shop is still going strong after all these years. =June 12th= There has been lots of trouble with drama lately so I made this thread to better explain drama and how to help stop it. Vance and Di are on a short haitus until this weekend.
=June 8th= It has been brought to our attention that there has been some recent confusion over breeding raffles and the 2 couple limit in breeding raffles. As a temporary solution to this confusion, we are allowing people to enter whichever 2 couples they would like to enter in the remaining open raffles (Di's and Tig/Nerp's). If you are to win a breeding in Dihi's, whichever 2nd couple you've entered in Tig/Nerp's raffle will be removed, so please let the other owner in your couple be aware of this. If you win a breeding and that same couple was listed in Tig/Nerp's, then it will be removed and your remaining couple will be your one entry. Tig and Nerp have been very accommodating and have pushed their raffle end time back an additional day, giving you extra time if you wish to wait to post your couples.
We apologize for any and all confusion this situation has brought, and assure you that the breeding rules are being looked at at this time for a revamp, including no future raffle overlapping.
On that note, I encourage you all to take the time and fill out our Soquili Questionnaire. Your input and suggestions are very much welcomed and desired (+ hey, you get a chance to win free crap, that's never bad, right?)
ALSO, as a head's up, next month we will be hosting an entire month of CUSTOMS, where every person will have the opportunity to post as many custom forms as they can afford, for a chance to have multiple customs done. =May 20th= After a much difficult judging decision, the shop wishes to hire [ Vance ] and Dihydrogen. as soquili colorists/breeders. Zee Oddwyn and Mobster Goose can be guest colorists for an upcoming event. Due to budget problems I won't have any t-shirts or buttons available at A-KON with my soquili design on it. I will have as much stuff to give away as I can afford to. So many people have PMed me about attending SOQ-KON that I think we should have a little get-together to sit down and chat. XD Cajmera and CuterThanYou have switched jobs at Soquili. Cuter will be the General manager to oversee the main thread and help out with customer service. Cajmera will be the RP manager and help settle RP disputes and make sure everything RP is going well. There will be a staff meeting to welcome the new colorists and other stuff this Saturday at 8 pm CST.

=May 17th= For the first time, SiSi has an artist table at A-KON in Dallas (May 29-31) on the first floor section D. There will be some giveaways of soquili RL items such as a t-shirt, stickers, buttons, etc that SiSi has designed as well as a drawing for a free unedited soquili. You need to go to SiSi's booth #D-23 (my display will hopefully look like a purple dragonfly/mushroom castle if I can get it to work) in person to get yourself entered in the drawings. You can only enter for yourself or a friend. There can even be a small party for all soquili owners, location to be decided among those who can come. Please PM Soquili if you are attending. I hope to see many there! <3 I been busy working on stuff for my booth but will work on pets again later this week. Also, several colorists are catching up with things owed too. Next month there will be a party since the shop is 4 years old! More info on that to come. <3 The hiring thread ends Wednesday when two talented colorists/breeders will be selected.

=May 1st= Natsube the C/B has resigned from the shop. She has left on good terms and gave "being spread too thin" as a reason for leaving. This talented girl has so much going for her and will surely make a big name for herself (although she has already here) in the animation world. =April 18th= The shop is now hiring a colorist/breeder and familiar colorist. There is also an Advertising Contest! Visit the thread if interested! We are also catching up with stuff owed and gearing up for the 2nd Pokemon Event that is coming on or around the 20th.
=April 14th= Easter is now over so I hope everyone had fun. There was two raffle soquili so congrats to WNC and Sage for winning! A 2nd Pokemon event will be held around the 20th of this month so keep a look out. Also, the hiring thread to find new coloring talent for the shop will be opened this Saturday. Some soquili owners have made Twitter accounts so they can RP their soquili when they are not at their computer. That might be a fun thing to do if you are on your cell phone and can't get on Gaia to play. Many colorists are trying to get caught up with work owed so thanks for the patience!! Chibizoo and Imp are back in action so please be patient for them to get caught up with their work.
=April 4th= Slander is a new staff member that is converting the owner's list into a website. That way the info will stop being eaten. We welcome this awesome peep with open arms! Next week there will be a colorist hiring thread. Thanks for everyone's patience while we all get finished with things owed. Imp is now off haitus and is working to get caught up on things owed. Chibizoo and Ameh are out of town so are on haitus until further notice. I'm saddened to announce that Merangue is no longer working at the shop. This talented artist will greatly be missed. sad
=March 22= After a long overdue period, we are now open for Elder Applications! AS WELL, there is a NEW RULE concerning Soquili breeds (as this was discussed last night in a staff chat): No member of the Angeni race will find itself succumbed to the curse of the Skinwalker. As they are the purest race of Soquili and have the power to fight both Kalona and Skinwalker, we have determined that they are unaffected by Corpse Powder and will never face the infliction of receiving the curse of the Skinwalker. (you'll see why, in an upcoming plot planned ;3)

=Sept 23= I hope to have the kelpi/mer event next weekened! Also, I'm still working on pets owed and grow ups. This new job is very exhausting and I'll manage my time when I get home so these pets can be finished by the end of Sept. Summer Raven won the charity raffle for Aug..with a pet colored by Endejester! There won't be a Sept raffle this month but the charity has been extended to Oct 1 due to lack of nominations. The prize is 200k so head over to the Questing HQ in the main guild for details (sticky). In November, Sisi will be at the Wizards convention in Arlington, TX which Kiki's Road Trip is making an appearance at. I hope some soquili members can go! I'm sorry but I'll have to move the event to next month. I feel horrible doing it and apologies to those who were looking forward to it. This shop has some issues that needs to be worked out before we have another event. Two colorists are no longer working at this shop, White Arsenic and Dark Lunar Fox. Another colorist needed to go on haitus due to computer problems as well.
Ameh has received a promotion in the shop (at least that's some good news!) She can now do customs instead of just breedings.
I'll be opening a hiring thread on Wednesday in the guild so we can get in some new breeders.
=Aug 19th= There is now a section explaining the mersoquili and showing silhouettes too!! Chibizoo and lilwere templated most the new lineart for me since I'm busy working on RL soqs I owe. We are all planning for the cool Kelpi/Mer event coming on the 25th of this month. <33
=Aug 13= There is going to be a kelpi/mersoquili event August 25th where the new mersoquili will be given out as well as kelpis. It will introduce the two properly into the plot line of the shop. Sirenz is working on getting the July 22nd pets done so please be patient. I saved all the info into my to do list so I should be getting them out today and all this week. I want to spruce up the shop layout with all the cool new art we got in the art contest but been so busy. I'm thinking about messing with the layout in the near future. I want to keep the look of the banners but just want to add some art from the contest in graphics. I don't want to change the tag because I like it and I'm sure you do too. Plus, it would be insane to change over 1,000+ soquili!
=July 24= Today I worked on more soquili owed and PMed to owners. The ones left are all editeds which take me some time to finish so sorry for the wait. Leelakin got done with the adult mersoquili so they will be ready for the Kelpi/Mersoq event next month after I template them.
=July 22= The HP event is over now. Any HP characters that were not in the event can be quested for. ^^ Also, on Saturday Sirenz couldn't be online very much due to RL happenings so sadly no pets were completed but will make up for that on Sunday! Huzzah! The thread is a spoiler free zone for the HP books so please don't ruin it for someone who hasn't read yet.

=July 6= 'grats winners of the July 4th raffle! I'm catching up with things owed so please be patient. <33 I want to work carefully with quality so it may be some time before I get finished with everything. I got in some pets for the Harry Potter event and I was so impressed! Many of the pets featured will be creatures of the series and a few human character cosplays. If you are a soq colorist/breeder and want to contribute in the event then please PM Soquili on what characters/creatures you will be assigned.
=July 4= When I get home I'll work on more pets owed. There is a July 4th free 24 hour raffle that's guest colored by the lovely Ballentine! One post/ticket a person please and no mules.
=July 2= There is an RP contest going on for those with 4 or less soquili, click here. Check on page '427 to see sketches of the upcoming mersoquili that Leelakin says will be done before she goes to Live Earth or when she gets back. I been thinking that if a soquili and mersoquili mate then a kelpi could happen rarely since it is a bit of a cross between soq and mersoq because it can walk and breathe in water. Some info on mersoquili that I came up with: 1) They can dive deeper and farther in the ocean than a kelpi. 2) They are a kind species that are curious about land lubbers unlike kelpi who are generally considered evil. 3) There will be a kelpi and mersoquili event in the near future where you can get them for free! icon_eek.gif more info later on them!
=June 29= Today Sirenz worked on stuff again and will probably do the same tomorrow..next day..so on ..so forth until everything is finished. Huzzah!! There will be a July 4th free raffle with 2-3 patriotic pets probably in the afternoon since Sirenz is being dragged off for a family outing at the Rangers Ballpark stadium for their game against the Angels. Then that following week is the long awaited Harry Potter event with pets and familiars cosplaying the characters. One might be colored by Leelakin but I'll have to see if she still wants to. Also the art contest deadline for submitting WIPs is tomorrow at midnight (CST).
=June 26= Sirenz had a root canal today so is in lots of pain. I still feel kinda woozy but I got some work done. I'm sure I'll feel better tomorrow to get lots done if I go to bed now. Also, our two dear colorists/breeders Lilwere and Zoo are having an art contest! I've allowed them to give away a soquili for an advertising prize. Visit the banner above for information.
=June 23= I paid the employees today! Also, I worked on more WIPs for pets owed..expect more tomorrow and this week, and the breedings I owe, The Harry Potter event is coming next month to celebrate the new movie. The art contest *banner above* will be closed for WIPs in one week!
=June 19= Make sure you check out the memo for information about accents and how to behave when a debate is going on. There is a new RP rule about accents (#14) so check it out.
=June 18= Our only guild is getting very crowded and disorganized so Sirenz has made a Services guild located here. Eventually, all the services offered in the current guild will be moved over there. If you have an idea of a new service or think that something in the current guild should be moved there then post in the suggestion thread (located in the services guild). The "Trading Post" post on the first page will be changed to "Services" and have links to most of the threads in that new guild. Also, there is a charge of 250g to get a change in the Request Thread. The first time making a change is free as well as equipping familiars and getting untagged images.
=June 15= Customs open on Friday at 7 pm central! I adjusted the pricing so go take a look. The unedited base price is hundred of thousands lower than if you were to get a full custom with heavy editing. Pay attention to the colorist limitation post on who wants to do what. DLF and Sirenz are not opening slots until June 22. I couldn't get ahold of DLF in time for slot opening today. I may not be around at 7 pm to open the slots but Cajmera may be there. The soquili art contest ends in two weeks so get your art in fast!
=June 9= While Sirenz has been on haitus she has been thinking of some ways to improve the shop. Today she fixed the bribe option. Also, all breeders of the shop get up to 5 breeding slots a month that they can open themselves in the breeding subforum of the guild. This new feature will start in July since we already had breeding this month. If you have a suggestion then use the Feedback thread in the guild. There is an upcoming RP contest where two winners (one colored by lilwere and the other by Sirenz) will get a dream soquili. If you are a colorist/breeder and want to contribute a custom pet for this event too then PM Soquili.
=June 8= Sirenz is going to take a haitus until Monday to get some much needed rest and clear her head. She may color some pets since she loves to color a lot while she is gone and will PM them to the owners. <333
=June 7= If you have an elder then please visit the Elder Thread located in the guild. Customs will open June 15th but the prices are still underconstruction. I've added usdia, flutters, and kalonas. Also, a new pricing system concerning edits. There is a flatsale tomarrow, June 8th, if everything goes well. I'll check with Lilwere to see if she is ready before posting the exact time. Chibizoo also colored some cool baskets for the sale too. In the Questing HQ, you can enter into the dream soquili raffle for june and nominate someone for the quest donation. Thanks to Mika for reminding me about this. We had no funds at all in the charity so I went ahead and donated myself.
=June 4-5= Sirenz stayed up all day until nearly 4:49 am to get all grow ups done. There is one grow up left but she is waiting on a pm from the owner first. Everything has been nearly done. In the guild, there is a new thread that is asking those who have been cleared for elders to please post the picture of your pet. Sirenz will then grow those into elders when possible. Chibizoo is working to get done stuff owed but is having IRL issues so won't be around that much. 'grats to all breeding slot winners! Look in the New Arrivals thread to see if any pets grew up or arrived. Sisi-chan also tagged all the flatsale pets and one even grew up. If you are an owner then PM Soquili the missing info.

=May 20= There will a Soquili flatsale on June 8th at 7pm CST (8 EST, 6 PST) held by lilwerewolfgirl. There will be 4 soquili up for grabs for newbies, that will be the first sale. Around 8:30 PM EST there will be a second sale. Two soquili will be available for -anyone- (except the winners of the newbie sale). Details over what type of flatsale it will be will be released on june 8th.

=May 15= Next week I won't be here because my job is sending me to a workshop out of town. I may get a chance to get online if the hotel has WIFI. =May 11th= I finally got a good graphic design job earlier this week since I was recommended from a freelance client of mine. They been working me pretty hard all week to see if I can do this job so that's why I haven't been around. The money is good so I might be able to move out after the 2nd paycheck. Huzzah!! I have no work tomarrow or Sunday so I'm focusing on tagging and customs. I'm very happy to finally get a good job that will help get me noticed IRL. *huggles and luff to everyone* Please do not PM the mule for breeding or other bribes. Everyone is very busy with stuff owed and IRL finals. DLF decided to take those two customs so if you got one of her slots then PM her your form and send trade to Soquili.
=May 4th= There will be a Mexican themed flatsale of Usdias tomarrow to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Usdia colored like animals, flowers, plants, etc native to Mexico. It will be conducted in a cute way with pinatas. It starts Saturday at 7 pm CST. Be there!! There was some confusions about customs today because my net wasn't working due to tornado damage. Check page 2 to see if you had gotten a slot.
=April 26= We all decided to have the pokemon sale/auction this weekend instead of next weekend since we feel the buzz of the pokemon games would be less strong next week. =April 22= A new kind of soquili is here called Usdia. They have their own lineart so look at the soquili breeds for more info. There is a flat of these on Saturday at 7pm CST and the price is 3k. Customs open on Friday but these won't be in the customs though because I need to template them still.
=April 20= There was so many people who voted positively in the poll that we are going to have a pokemon themed flatsale and auction sometime so stay tuned. =April 6= Spring Event. We got most of the pets that WA owes grown up. She was able to come online and give us the pets she colored. We all hope WA gets better soon. Also, Sirenz is still working on stuff owed and won't contribute to the event until everything gets done here. update: Sirenz had to contribute because Chibizoo is MIA and did not deliver the 2 flatsale pets she promised.
=April 3= WA's breedings will be given to Ameh and the 2 foals that she hasn't grown will be given to Cihiru. Be patient while these artists work! MAKE SURE TO SIGN UP YOUR SOQULI(S) IN THE ART CONTEST SIGN UP SHEET. A small familiar shop was opened on a site Sirenz likes called Menewsha. She is very poor on this site so is selling familiars there. click to visit.
=April 2= We are having a Soquili Art Contest to celebrate the 2nd year of the shop. You can donate to this contest if you go here. We got info about WA finally. She is sick so please be patient while she recovers. Like I said..arrangements will be made after the event and Cihiru has offered to help out.
=March 22= Still no word on WA. If she is still MIA by the Easter event, then her breedings will be given to other colorists. All the staff are still pretty busy so continue your patience please. I'll work on more of what I owe this week and hopefully will get all of it done before April 1st. DLF isn't able to make chickie and hummingbird familiars for the event so we won't have them. I'll think of some other way for all the pets to celebrate Easter.
=March 20= WA is still MIA at the moment. All the colorists are pretty busy so I don't think we will open any customs in April. Maybe a few breedings for the Easter event. The Kelpi event this weekend may be cancelled because I'm not caught up with all the work I owe and it isn't fair to those waiting. If that happens, it may occur in May although that could probably be too late. There is a big stat update on '121 for those who RP!!
=March 12= White Arsenic is having IRL issues so be patient for her growings. I opened some RL slots today but I'll get done the stuff owed previously before I start on them. On Saturday there will be a small race to find 4 leaf clovers. The soquili who wins will get a prize.
=March 7= Today Sheridan became an elder! Please do not ask me to make anymore elders until Hatter is finished with the stats. I'm going to make a list of pets who need to be elders on the new lineart. Also, Caj and Skye are figuring out rules for the elders. The Kelpi event is on the 24th but all of the work owed will be finished by then. *hugs*
=Feb 27= Sirenz is still working on things owed. Sorry for the slowness. Also, Aris Ravenstar resigned from her coloring position. She will get all the work done that she owes first.

=Feb 19= Sirenz probably won't be online much tomarrow so there won't be a party sadly. Also some growings and pick ups may happen today. Cajmera is the new thread manager!
=Feb 14= The event is over! On Feb 20 there will be a small party to celebrate Sirenz 22nd birthday and it will have Mardi Gras pets. It will probably last a few hours so it's nothing big. See ya there!

=Feb 7= The Water edits are done for the Kelpi soquili. Yesterday there was a familiar event. The traditional MLP valentine event may be moved up to Friday if the colorists get finished with the MLP soquili that will be given out. Also there will be a surprise auction with two mystery ANGENI soquilis to help Sirenz with her quest for a d-tail. Clues: #1-they are related #2-they are from the place that sounds like the tough to remove substance on pots and pans.
=Feb 3= Sirenz and the others are working on things so be patient. Cihiru is still having PS trouble so please be patient while she gets that fixed. Also we are planning a valentine event that will happen next Saturday (10th) with valentines & a flaffle.
=Jan 27= It's been hard to keep up with all the requests for ownership changes, untagged images, familiar equips.. ect.. Now you must post all such requests here. We are hiring a request thread manager!

update: Silent Spy told me he was doing a supervillian theme for his shop so that got me thinking. That might be a cool idea for a Soquili event too. Villians like Cat Woman, Harley Quinn, The Joker, Scarecrow, Darkstalkers, etc... Soquili spandex anyone? It would be ok for the soquili theme because the soquilis would just be colored like that and be like their super evil counterparts.

=Sept 07=...GUILTY!! This weekend the skinwalker event is just getting started. Chief Tawadi will decide what punishment the skinwalker soqs will receive for ruining the village. There will be a reconstruction after it's handed out. There will be a surprise too... a pouch holding corpse powder from Oyohusa will be auctioned off. We have female skinwalker lineart now too.
=Sept 05=Lightning and Rasputin are the culprits..cursed with corpse power. Mintaka is the winner! There will be a trial for these accused coming up. Are they really innocent or guilty? What proof is there against them besides everyone's accusations. Even Oyohusa accuses them but they deserve a fair trial. What will be their punishment for destroying the village?? Vote in the poll!
=Sep 03=Since the skinwalker event didn't have as big a turnout as we hoped we are letting people guess who did it until Tuesday@noon (central). That way if you couldn't be online during Labor Day weekened you can still read over the RP that took place in order to form the conclusion of which two soquilis were the ones. PM Oyohusa when you figure it out and how they became skinwalkers. There will be a raffle of all the correct answers held on Tuesday.

=May 2=Me, the queen of all procrastination, has yet again waited until the very last days to get all her graphic art projects done. *le sigh* Sooooo.... there will a brief haitus at soquili until this weekend so that I can think only of my projects so I can get those nice juicy A's. Tonight I'm going to tag soquilis and other stuff.. and also tomarrow morning early.. I will get other soquili related stuff done. Then, it's crunch time to get these projects done. I think on Saturday I'll have a party to celebrate being over with art finals and will have 1 or 2 giveaways. Then on Thursday of next week, I have an advertising final that I will actually study on time for. GO ME! So I will also be on a day haitus on Wednesday of next week to study for the bugger. Oh yeah also this weekened I will update teepee stats and award the pet/teepe spotlights.
=May 1=The auction is finally over and now i'm planning a mothers day event to honor all the mommy soquilis. Maybe the 2nd and 3rd gen soquilis can think of things they can do to honor their mothers. Also I'm working on a soquili metaplot that will introduce a new breed and kind of soquilis.
=April 29=Some discussion of baby soquilis that come from baskets was made in the thread. After some thinking, there won't be any baby lineart made. It would upset the RP balance of the shop and the mystery of the baskets. I am getting beautiful elder lineart if everything goes as planned which will help the RP issue too. <3 I hope everyone understands.

=January 31st=Some grow ups happened today..also I decided to have the spotlights for January because we havent did this in awhile. The Valentine event will be on the 10th..and last until Feb 20th (my birthday..and the gaia ball). It will be called Soquili Valentine Birthday something... not sure yet. I'll sell soquili valentines that will be similar to the Christmas event secret santas. Also there will be a soquili beauty contest (with brains too) and some games. Why so many events? I have so much free time now because i only have 4 classes this semester and they are all art classes except for Intro to Advertising. I do the work during the 3 hrs the class meets. XD..What better way to spend free time then doing Gaia related things. ^.^

Cosplays and 3 brand spankin' new lineart edits..the unicorn, flutter, and kalona(demon) will be options.

Most the pets are 84kb-100kb(in file size)..never over, unless the owner puts another image in their sig. Every foal has to bring a dish (a picture of some type of food) and post it in the thread when we have the picnic. There might even be games! Adults can come too and bring a dish as well. There is a special going on where one of the babies could look totally different from the parents but this happens randomly. Answer yes or no if you want the chance for one baby to look different. In the wild, horse babies sometimes look entirely different from the parents.
=September 14th=Kamiki's soquili, Stormchaser grew today! I hope to grow the rest this weekend and open breeding slots. Also I plan to work on more stuff like the NPC and shop map. The story contest will probably be around that time too.
=September 7th=Today we had a free lurker raffle for every non-owner who posted on the last fifty pages. Foalen won the event and was rewarded with a beautiful basket. It pays to lurk and chat in the thread..even if you don't have a soquili. ^_^ We might do another event like this in the future..so keep lurking! Also more work on getting elders up again will be done then too as well as getting more pets done that I owe.

=Jan 15th= The poll results of the Valentines event were carousel horses with 100 votes and Victorian with 95. Since carousel won and Victorian was so close, we will have some carousel horses with a Victorian valentine theme. =Dec 13= Sisi is being overworked like a slave at her new temp job so sadly didn't get much done in time for new slot opening on Friday. I decided to move the next opening to Dec 21st and will make some gift cards that notify a gift recipient that they have a pet on the way. I'll be making that card this weekend and it will be free for those who got a rl soq for someone as a gift so if you'd like, you can email me if you got a soq as a gift via RL commissions (moonsirenzATgmail.com). Just tell me the TO and FROM. Also the cards will be free for those who have gotten soqs in gaia commissions too. I got in more pets for the winter event today so am planning a raffle or other event now. ELF is almost done with her SS thread too. Such a busy time of year for everyone but we will get the event going eventually so everyone has a chance to get these cool soqs. Love ya!!

Mindsend and I are working on prompts for the applicants to test their reactions to difficult shop issues in the past. There won't be a spotlight this month because we are still smoothing out the new layout. In Feb we will resume the spotlight recognition project. January 25th= The new Owner's List is here! January 24th= Shop rules have been streamlined - In-thread mate searching is now approved; a new consolidated custom form is available in Custom Information, and our new Owner's List is coming soon. January 22th= Sabin is opening bribes at Noon CST Monday, the 24th of January. They will be open till 6pm CST Tuesday. If you know how to save the awards then go there to discuss. Sirenz is getting back into the swing of things after the recent loss of her beloved mother, Lynda, to cancer. Thanks all for the patience. This weekend SiSi will be at Anime Fest in Dallas and might have a soquili panel if enough ppl are going. PM Sirenz if you are going to AFest.
