Q: Can I edit the list?
A: No. Please post corrections in this thread.
Q: Why does the list load up in a seemingly random order?
A: It's not actually random - the newest added horses are at the top of the list. (Sort of like the Soquili Arrivals mule, without the pretty pictures.) You can easily sort the list to be alphabetical though by any column you wish - just right click on a heading and choose Sort A-Z, then scroll to find the name you're looking for.
You can also use ctrl-f and type the name in the search box that pops up.
Q: Is the list case-sensitive for searching?
A: Nope, it doesn't care if about capitals - however, if we've messed up a name or something in regards to capitalization, please do let us know.
Q: How come there are some *really* old errors on the list?
A: Some of the data that was used to build the list was really, really old. Like, ancient old - incorrect data was deemed more beneficial than missing ponies, so every list that we had was amalgamated into the raw data for the new list.
Q: Why is my horse missing? 8C
A: Likely because he/she wasn't on one of the lists that were used to dump the raw data into Zoho, the data was damaged on import, or they got missed on the PB sweep. Please do post them!
Q: Who made the new list?
A: A lot of people - while the project is currently headed by Samuel Carlin, many of the staff have assisted with data entry and correction. The original lists were built by Presca, Cajmera, Slander and likely others farther back in Soq-history.
Q: Why are co-ownerships not given their own separate entries anymore?
A: A couple reasons - one record per horse means we can get an accurate census of the Soq population at any time. It also means less chance of data fragmentation - which happens when one record is updated but the other is not.
Q: My Soq isn't
A: If clearly we've goofed in the classification department, please do post for a correction. Same goes for wrong gender/owner/parents/anything really. However, in some cases we've had to take the "best fit" for an odd horse's traits, which leads them to being in a Kind category that they may not have been in before (Kalona is most common here, for horns/tails). This by no means affects your ICly horse - it's purely a visual classification system.
Q: Why isn't my horse listed as mutant?
A: Mutant is a separate "flag" or marker in this list - thus you can have mutants of *any* breed - Mutant Wind, Mutant Kalona, Mutant Angenikirin, etc. The category heading is Mt. and it'll be shown with an X.
Q: Okay, what about pure mutants then?
A: "Pure" mutants (something of an oxymoron) are classified as Regular/Mutant, meaning they have no other traits beyond Mutant ones.
Q: Why aren't all my fancy accents and special characters in my horse's name?
A: For our own sanity and ease of searching, only proper english characters and some punctuation (such as hyphens) have been allowed in Soquili names. Accents; ` ˆ ¨ ´ are all dropped.
Q: Why did you go for an off-site Owner's List? Wasn't this tried before?
A: TL biggrin R - Because it works. wink
Q: Seems like a lot of work for little reward?
A: The OL is actually very important - the single most important list in the whole shop. It can be used to track down a Soquili's entire geneology, serves as our Limited Theme and Cosplay list, and provides census data on Soquili-Kind distribution. It also lets us check to see if someone is a newbie or not, and what the gender balance in their herd is. The number of breedings a Soquili has already had can also be determined.

She is indeed flagged as mutant - Mutants only show on the Extended List as a unique flag. Pirata is a Mutant Regular.

A couple errors here. >> For my soquili (Nisshou Hakuyaiba)
Vivace xXx is a mutant wind. He's not marked as such.
((His siblings Auspicious Adagio (Revolutionary Roniel) and ??? (Chaifuzz) are also mutant winds that aren't marked as such.))And I'm not entirely certain about this one because I never bothered to think about it before now. But I believe the gem growing out of Lamb's chest would make him a mutant. He is also not marked as one. In the case of small accessories where it's not unreasonable they could be clipped or otherwise held to the Soq's fur, they are not deemed mutant traits.Alrighty then Fel~ =3 Good to know. ^^ Also...since I'm here.
His name is Nexus. In no way do I think it's an error since he just grew and got his name. XD Just mentioning it.

One little error for one of my Soq.
Janus Male, Gen 1, Regular, Nerian???
He should be marked as an Original Character, and yes, he is a "Nerian" [Original Breed of people of mine]. His hooves are covering his Original Character stamp.
So I suppose it should be Original Character- Nerian.
