Quite enthralled now with the whole vibe of the Festival, Hikari practically skipped from booth to booth. In her mind she pondered possible costumes that she could wear, something to completely blow away the other Nightmares at the festival. As she plotted the details of her costume, a booth teeming with different kinds of jewelry caught the Kumiho's attention. Prancing towards it, Hikari nearly tripped in her giddy excitement. The booth's vendor appeared quite amused with the Kumiho's display of energy, though that barely registered on Hikari's radar. The vendor motioned for Hikari to come hither, and so the girl obliged. The vendor took the Kumiho's wrist and put a bracelet with little jack o' lanterns over her hand and onto her wrist. Dropping her hand, the vendor waved Hikari off and moved onto the next festival attendee, and Hikari was happy to skip away with her new treasure.
Elspeth slowly strolled through the festival grounds. She rather enjoyed taking in the variety of sounds around her, though maybe not so much the occasional loud shrieks, those she could perhaps do without. Her tail flicking around, Elspeth came to a halt as her thoughts completely consumed her attention. In that, she was completely taken by surprise when a shadowy figure darted out from a nearby alley way and slammed directly into her, forcing a bright pumpkin bucket into her hands, and taking off in the opposite direction.
Saitama boldly charged up to the next vendor, who looked down at the Freshling with mild distain, and dropped something with a loud THUNK into the boy's bucket.
Yui moved quickly between booth, despite her small legs and generally small size, she ducked under elbows and dodged swinging buckets. She held her bucket up to receive a treat from the next vendor, who tossed in what looked like it was maybe candy?
Azura danced her way to the next booth, feeling quite confident, which was unusual for the little Elf girl. Generally, without her sister Corrin by her side, Azura wouldn't have even dreamed of running around like this all on her own, and yet some how the liveliness of the festival was infectious. Humming with a grin on her face as she approached yet another vendor, she was presented with yet another plushie, and even more sugary treats.
Corrin was enjoying the time away from Azura, not to say that she disliked her sister, more so just that she often had to hold Azura's hand through just about any outing, so this was quite a rare freedom. Corrin cheerfully approached another booth, holding out her bucket to receive a bag of colourful looking eyeball candies,
Eilwen was having fun playing games with her brother. There was trying to squirt water into a little trinket to see who could hit the bell first. She was hoping Erion would win, but he was having trouble getting the water into the small opening and since they were playing against other people she decided to try to go for the win herself. Woot! She cheered when she rang her bell first, but told Erion he should pick out a prize. He picked out the creepiest spider, and while it gave her the creeps, he seemed to love it. Silly kid.
When she turned around Fakir was there, giving her a bit of a fright. "Oh! Hi, thanks for coming." Eilwen smiled and gave him a gentle hug before moving away from the game. She dug around in her pail to retrieve the little yellow and black nezubat plushie she had won earlier and handed them to Fakir. "That's a gift for you, Happy Haunted Hallows." She smiled, her wings fluttered a bit at seeing him. That costume made her heart pound. He looked...dashing in his street clothes. But dressed as a Prince? Her heart might just stop.

What Eilwen didn't know, was that Erion was loosing on purpose because he wanted her to win! And all that hard work paid off when she did! He was surprised when she told him to pick out a prize, but hey a victory was a victory! He smiled and picked out the black and red spider plushie. It was cute in a weird and creepy way. He'd be sure to treasure it as a gift from his sister.
When Fakir arrived in a Prince costume Erion actually laughed at him. Wasn't the point to look scary? Ah, well Eilwen seemed to like him. "Look what Eilwen won for me!" He happily showed off his new spider plushie.
Thomas chuckled too, that's what he loved about Kahlil, he always went along with Thomas's dumb ideas. The bakeneko hugged the Naga back, and then held on a little longer. “Alas, it is alveady too late for you! I have you now and shall take you back...to my lair.” Thomas gave a maniacal laugh that faded to a real one as he let Kahlil go. Hallows Eve was turning out to be a lot of fun.
He was about to ask if Kahlil had seen Sidhe when said kitty showed up. Thomas squinted at her outfit and took a wild guess. “You're a spy. A spy who's undercover at a cult that's sacrificing Nightmares to the god of...um...to bring about the apocalypse!” Thomas poked at the candle briefly before giving Sidhe his own hug. “Where'd you even find that creepy thing, anyway?” The thing was seriously weird. Who was handing something like that out? Someone slipped a piece of candy into his pail while he was distracted by the weird candle.

Tempo heard the sound of Yami being pushed and turned. “Oh, hello, Yami! This celebration of yours looks like so much fun!” She said, putting the memory of the locket behind her. This was the first big event that they were attending together and she wanted to focus on that, not weird, creepy, sad vibes from an inatimate object. That's when Tempo spied Amatsu. “Oh, hey there, sweetie! Are you having fun yet? I'm surprised you stuck with us stuffy adults instead of running off to join your friends.” Tempo said with a smile. Amatsu was adorable, in her opinion, just like his twin.
She looked around picked a house near them. “Come on, let's go get some free candy.” She said, taking Yami and Amatsu with her to trick or treat at the next house. This time she got a proper treat, not some weird locket. “MMM, chocolate skulls are my favorite!”

Natasha headed to the next house happily, holding out her bucket for candy. Some caramel eyes were dropped in her pail, and the little bakeneko didn't hesitate to snatch them back out and eat some. Caramel was her absolute favorite candy, followed closely by chocolate. When she heard a small sound of dismay from her brother, though, she turned around with a hiss, ready to scratch whoever made him make that sound. The caretaker had a bit of a handful for a second, trying to explain that there was always a possibility of getting tricked, and her brother wasn't hurt from it in the slightest.
Misha absolutely did not like the skull that was put into his bucket and made a sound of disgust. Then he watched his sister make a huge scene, nearly scratching the caretaker to get away and at the owner of the house. The owner apologized a little and handed Misha a plushie. Honestly, the guy seemed more amused at Nat's antics than anything else. Wow, Natasha was going to love this...as soon as she calmed down anyway. The spider plush was epic.
Jasper was a lot more leery at the next house. He definitely didn't want bones again. Luckily this time the owner dropped a giant sugar skull in his pail.
Ai was starting to think that Tomoe must have the biggest sweet tooth. Hopefully that meant he actually ate the cake she had baked for him before. Part of her was nervous the whole thing had ended up in the trash and that he never read her card. She deserved that much after all the years of torture she had put him through. That smile on his face though was priceless. She'd never seen anything remotely close to that back home, and if it started to look like that she was there to stomp it out.
Why was she even still following them? Augh, just turn around and enjoy the festival Ai! You creepy stalker. She got up the nerve to turn around and stomp away but flying into her was a Vesper cat, it must have been attached by the sparkle in the fake wings on her back. It caught her by surprise and she little out a little scream and hell backward when it jumped at her. She was pretty sure something was under her feet. Oh yeah, he tails. At least she had a bit of a cushioned fall, but oooooow her taaaaails. Meanwhile there was a Vesper cat trying to crawl over her to get to her back. Oh please don't let Tomoe look around. If he does, please let him mistake her for someone else. There were other pale seven-tailed Kumihos in Below! There just had to be! She was trying to wrangle the little critter into her arms so she could get up and run away. Gods, this was just the most embarrassing thing. This wouldn't have happened if she had just stayed home!

"Mom was bringing us all around for trick or treating, but then she saw daddy," Snow mentioned, seeing two things on the ground that caught his eye. One (Ironically), was a glass eye, and the next thing was a rock with eyes. He was about to leave them until he realized the eyes followed him, giggling to himself before picking the rock and glass eye up ", Look what I found!"
Iah looked into his bucket to see what candy he had gotten, seeing none there. All he had gotten was toys and lots of tricks. He then looked up at Micari and nodded ", Yes, I haven't gotten any candy yet."
When Natsumi showed them the skull, Iah slithered over to them and tried to look at it better ", Cool! Can you let me see it better Natsumi?"

After Somansh introduce herself, hu decided to continue the conversation before Kara mentioned Somansh's wings. She slowly came out from hiding, trusting what Yihad said to her. Surely hu knew what hu was talking about right. With a deep sigh, she began to speak to Kara ", I am Somansh. It is nice to meet you," She then opened her wings some since they were feeling crammed, revealing her half wings. However, as soon as she opened them they were soon closed, her hiding back behind Yihad.
"I am doing good, expect I seem to be getting lots of tricks," He showed her his pail ", Hopefully I will be able to get some treats. That way I can give you something nice and not this..." he held up a weird and creepy puppet ", This thing."

Harley was being tugged along by little Yuta, but she wasn't going to complain. She was glad he was so excited and ready to have fun at the festival. "Hey now, be careful!" She giggled, letting the young Kumiho's hand go so that he could grab some treats for himself.
Her ears perked at the sound of her name and she turned slowly to meet the green eyed gaze of Echo. "O-oh, hey!" She gave a small smile. "I didn't expect to see you here!" She was actually really happy she'd know someone at the event. "Oh, it was a pleasure." She waved a hand dismissively.
Yuta happily ran off to go join in more festivities. "Trick or treat!" That's what the other kids were saying right? "Oh, and for my friend too!" Yuta pointed back at Harley who was now chatting with someone else. When he turned back to look at the items he had attained, he was visibly displeased. "A rock? He huffed, but at least it came with a little plush. He ran off to deliver Harley's things to her.
What was this thing? It was cute but it's ears were weird. Some weird baby plush placed in his bucket. Sunan shrugged it off and went on his way.
What was with all these weird toys? This puppet gave off a creepier vibe than the other, but there was definitely something up with them.
Well Xiaoshi couldn’t say that this festival wasn’t surprising. Something had hit her in the face but she had gotten a plushie to add to her collection and a chocolate bar she kind of wanted to eat just to see if it made some one scream. It was then there was a screech of protest as Xiaoshi yanked on the plushie and a nezubat of all things came out along with it. The two stared at each other before the bat decided it had forgiven
Did this mean that she had a familiar? Below was soo weird. Speaking of so weird, while she was buzzy petting her new friend someone smacked into her and she stumbled back using her tails to help catch her. Okay take a deep breath they probably didn’t see her she turned to look at them and blinked once. Oh they were a Hallowed like Samhain.

Unfortunately her search for food was turning out pretty badly. Nothing was calling to her. Oberon would definitely give her an earful when she got home. He had warned her to eat something, but she had been so excited to come to the festival that she had gotten her costume ready and dashed out before grabbing something. Oh wait her newest and well only Nibling had packed her something. She pulled out the bag and was met with both a plushie and turnip. Maybe Keres had set the wrong bag out… but then the plushie had a note saying that Keres had made it for her….. strange.
“Yeah well any one that had the misfortune to see us the first time would not have believed your statement mr. on your knees and extending a hand out to a person you’ve just seen” Vanna sighed shaking his head. Kingston was weird some times, but it was still refreshing.
He had actually seen the Fennekit come out and wondered who would be that horrible to do that to a poor familiar's eyes. He had also noticed that Kingston was about to trip over it and opened his mouth to say something when his hands where suddenly grabbed and a plushie was thrust into them.
‘you’re the 50th visitor we have today. Here have a complimentary plushie’ a random person said shoving another plushie at Vanna. He blinked, made a note that the plushie looked a bit like Kin and himself at least color wise and put it in his bag with the other two. Seriously what was with people tonight?
Mai couldn’t help herself and ended up laughing. Vanna had warned her that Kingston was a character but he was definitely laying on the ham. Still it was good to get compliments and watch Vanna flail a little bit. He had been overworked lately and so worried. She wanted to help him, but she knew that Vanna would never tell her about his work. She was lucky that she even knew what she did, but she had been there that night Vanna had come in after getting rid of his predecessor. Demis had meant a lot to Vanna at one time and when Demis died Vanna was a wreck. Now he was practically back to normal and smiling. Yeah she would definitely have to thank Kingston. “Although he could have warned me you where such a charmer. Be careful now or big brother might get super protective.” She ignored vanna muttering under his breath about getting picked on. It would be good for him.
“personally if we don’t have Vanna refusing to acknowledge us by the end of the night then we’ve failed at our job” Ren teased glad that Vanna seemed distracted by someone at the moment. It was then he saw something dart out into Kingston’s path.
Ah watch out for the….” Ren trailed off glad that Kingston saw the familiar in time that had about given him a heart attack. It was then that he noticed the eyes and had to bite his lip from making any noise. Had someone done that to poor thing? He was soo worried about the poor fennekit that he totally missed some one sneaking an lollipop into his bag.
“No…” Samhain pouted practically, all he was missing was the drooping lower lip. “Just that I have face protection is all. Well I don’t really blame them after all we were strange people and races they had never seen in their life before. I’d probably have peaked out the windows at least once” “Yeah her name is Xiaoshi and I would be happy to introduce the two of you. She seems to find the fact we named ourselves the power squad amusing.” Samhain stated. He turned to give the poor kid trying to flirt with Nashira some privacy and noticed there was squeaking from his bag. Oh Dublin hadn’t gotten inside again. That flitter- well that definitely wasn’t Dublin. In fact it was a hallowed flitterat. He knew that animals could sometimes also come out Hallowed but to actually see one. The flitterat made a happy noise before he flew up to nuzzle Samhain’s cheek, and he knew… he knew it was his. “hahah I am not surprised” was the voice that came out as Samhain although it once again was way deeper than Samhain normally spoke in. He turned to look at Nashira. “ugh let’s get this thing off my face.” As he took the mask off even the flitterat blinked in confusion but the new Samhain was his too so it kept with the muzzling of the cheek.

“Ah well I might if I see them. I don’t…”Amatsu trailed off there and twisted the bottom of his sweater. “I don’t really have any friends except for Bismae and my twin,” ugh that was depressing. He didn’t want to be depressing. Miss Tempo was an awesome lady and he wanted the date with dad to go well so that Dad would marry her and Amatsu could call her mom. “Ah but free candy sounds awesome” Amatsu stated. He didn’t get any candy at the house but he did get an awesome ghost. By the time that they wandered back to the festival booths, He was suddenly face to face with Lapis. Hey he found her, or well had lapis found him? Oh boy. He needed to know people that knew how to start a conversation, or maybe he didn’t. He knew how to start one so it was fine if his friends didn’t. He beamed at the question.
“The kittens are fine. They’re getting really big and adventurous.” Amatsu stated and then pulled out his phone showing Lapis a picture of them.

“Amatsu don’t push…” Yami trailed off as he realized his child had found tempo and was pushing them forward. Tempo definitely looked pretty, although she always looked pretty so… and standing there staring at her was not going to help. He sighed and brushed his hair out of his face. It wasn’t like this was the first pretty girl he had talked to either. “Well I’m glad you’re liking it. I would hate for your first festival here to be a disappointment.” Yami smiled and then pushed Amatsu forward when Tempo went to talk to him. He was worried about the lack of friends but everyone in his family tended to be late bloomers. Amatsu would figure it out. Still off to the first house it was. He was lucky that Amatsu got something nice and Tempo got something nice as he was handed a rather stale popcorn hand, and were those supposed to be candy corn? “Well it looks like we lost Amatsu… which is good. While I love his company if he has a friend its better for him to…”Yami trailed off. Amatsu was still close enough for him to hear the edge of Amatsu’s conversation. Ah this was the person who’s house Amatsu had skipped off to that one day. He shook his head and turned back to Tempo. “Have you eaten yet?”
Yeah okay so maybe she shouldn’t have gotten so into dressing up so differently but if you were going to do something you might as well put your all behind it. She pushed down her scarf and removed her sunglasses briefly to show Khalil that it really was her. “Yep it’s me. Hi Khalil” she said working to add some cheer to her tone. She was still trying to calm down from that prank up she didn’t want to make Thomas or Khalil think that her ire was directed towards them. Thomas didn’t seem too affected though and after making a wild guess at her custom gave her a hug that she returned. “I had it thrown at my head by some preteen that thought it would be fun to prank people that way.” Sidhe replied.”I would hardly pick this up otherwise Thomas” With a sigh she blew out the candle on the skull and stuffed the whole thing in her bag. The deities only knew why she was keeping the thing maybe it was because it a good object to throw at annoying people. She totally missed the mischievous little freshling slipping a lollipop and plushie into her bag too.
"I-I'd like that. I th-think Tomoe would like the c-city." Well. Maybe just tonight. Other times it could be a little... overwhelming, but everyone was having fun tonight, so it was a good time to go. That was Neptune's logic, anyway. Never mind that this was a holiday that somewhat circled around scaring people.
"Oh, no I d-don't mind at all..! Fl--flitterats are su--supposed to be really smart, a-aren't they?" He tilted his head a little, eyeing Tomoe for a moment as he did so. And it was a good thing he did- someone attempted to throw a little ghost at the back of his head! Neptune managed to reach out and catch it, even though he'd only been trying to block it.... It was kind of cute at least? He put it into his pail.

Amatus nodded, humming a little in thought... "True, true. Maybe they will! They're probably just so used to having a small pool of customers, ahaha. A lot of people back home are still kind of wary about the rest of the world, y'know?" Amatus shrugged a little, then grinned at her display of shyness. How cute! She and Iron were a little similar in that regard. "Oh!! Yes!! We do go to the same school!" He clapped his hands together excitedly, ears perking up just touch.
"I study dance and illusion there! I'm surprised we haven't run into each other in classes, haha!" Or maybe they had and he just hadn't noticed? He was kind of up in the clouds most of the time... "Oooh is Chessy your partner?"

Hnn... what to do, what to do... honestly this was kind of boring on his own. He should have asked Thanatos if he could go hang out with him and his friends. Then again, he'd probably third-wheel it if he had. Well. Fourth-wheel, but that would imply that-- never mind. That train of thought was dumb. And so was the ringtoss game he was trying to play.
After failing for the fifth time, he sighed long and heavy and turned to leave, but was interrupted by a puppet that fell from the booth's rafters. The person running it said he could take it if he wanted. He picked it up, eyeing it blankly for a moment before deciding he might as well. Maybe some people found it creepy, but he thought it had its own charm.

Meimu was not entirely sure he was a fan of this whole... Academy thing. But his grandfather had told him it was his duty as a potential future leader for their race to learn everything he could about the outside world, and so... here he was. Standing in the middle of some weird festival, not sure what was going on. Naoki wasn't even around to tag around with. Then again that was probably a good thing... Naoki and all of these sweets was a mixture for disaster.
A little bewildered, he wandered around the festival, mostly just trying to keep people away from his tails. The cauldron he'd been given had come with some candyfloss in it- not that he knew what it was, it just looked like cotton to him - but as of yet he hadn't won anything. He was considering trying out one of the games when a plushie hit him smack dab in the face. Blinking in surprise, he stared down at the bat plush on the ground for a moment before slowly picking it up.
Alright. Whoever threw that was going to be regretting their life choices reaaaaaal soon. He just had to find them.
Kyleigh nearly jumped out of her skin when she felt a little paw patting at her leg. She knelt down, careful not to flip her skirt up, and found a pretty pink and blue revenant. "Hello cutie," she said with a smile. "What's that you have?" The revenant dropped a creepy turnip thing in her hands. "Ah...thanks?"

As he was walking along, Taegan nearly tripped over something in the grass. Bending down, he plucked a colorful rock out of the dirt. It gave off a weird feeling and the Litch wasn't sure how he felt about it. He dumped it in his bucket and kept on.

Lestari decided to try her luck at one of the game booths. The goal was to knock the bottles over with a ball, but she only managed to knock one down. She got some weird necklace with the faces scratched out. It made her feel sad...so she dropped it in her bucket. Someone must have felt sorry for her though because the next thing she knew, she was being pelted in the face with a nezubat plushie.

Drayden grinned as they walked around. He loved watching Gryffyn trying to look at everything ever. "Let's try one of these games. Like that water gun one looks fun, doesn't it?" He led the freshling over and helped them up onto the stool. Drayden...was really bad at this. He just couldn't get the water stream in the target! He ended up with a glove full of old popcorn and cheap candy corn. Ew.
Gryffyn had fun trying to get the water stream into the target, but they weren't very good at it. The gun was kind of heavy! But they could always try again later. They got a pack of gum that just plain smelled bad so they didn't bother opening it and just tucked it into their bucket. When they hopped off the stool, there was a fluffy vespercat waiting for them! "Hi there," they said and held their arms open for the fluffy feline to jump up.

Aellys was having a pretty good time at the festival with his son. At the next game they played, Aellys won a cute little ghost toy. "That's adorable," he chuckled. "What'd you get, Bry?"
Bryony pouted as he looked down at his 'prize' from the game. "I got...a rock." His face was grumpy as he looked up at Aellys, who assured him they would get better prizes next time, and dumped the rock into his bucket.
"What next, girl?" the professor asked as they wandered the park. Crux piped up with a game she wanted to play so off they went! This one was a kind of dice game. Each side of the die had a prize, a trick, or a treat written on it. The girls asked Dani to go first and she won a treat and a plushie! "Good luck, girls," she said and handed it over to Crux first.
Crux jumped up excitedly as she rolled the dice...and then pouted as she just got a trick. "Aww boo. I hope you have better luck, MayMay."

"Aww c'mon, hurry up PLEASE, Zoe!" Gilly danced in place in her sea dragon costume, clutching her candy bucket as though it were trying to leap away from the death-grip she had on it. This was her first time trying something like this and it looked SO exciting! She had watched the scores of other freshlings (and a few older ones clearly trying to pass as younger) going from door to door and coming away with what she could only guess to be some super-fantastic things! She knew she and her friend were late to the party, and she was worried that all of the good things had been picked over. Her fear only seemed confirmed when she rushed to the first adult she saw, eagerly held up her bag and roared "HAPPY HAUNTED HALLOWS!", only to have them drop something small and colored an icky shade of green into her bucket with a thunk. By the time her friend caught up, she had inspected the item, which turned out to be old gum. "Aww, yucky! I think we might be too late for anything good....." Suddenly she gasped as she felt something brushing up against her legs. Looking down, she saw what had to be the FLUFFIEST Vespercat she had EVER seen! She scooped it up and cuddled it. "Wow! Look Zoe! I guess all of the good stuff WASN'T taken yet!"
Following the commotion her friend was making ahead of her, Zoe walked at a reasonable pace behind, pausing ever so often to smile back at the pretty pink pail she had chosen. She also carried the lantern with her, which she found fit her modest grim reaper costume rather well even though she could see well enough in the dark, and her friend Gilly seemed more interested in getting treats than looking where she was going. Well, at least she had cause to be excited, with so much going on! It took Zoe's breath away just how much activity was swirling around them; small wonder they didn't get swept up in it like two pieces of driftwood. She approached a different attendant than Gilly had, gently tugging at their robes and holding up her bag. "H-Happy Haunted Hallows." The attendant leaned in towards her with a hand to his ear. "Eh? What's that? Better speak up; you won't get many treats if nobody can hear you!" Chortling, he dropped something hard and heavy into her pail and vanished into the crowd. Reaching in, she pulled out a large, black rock with shiny bits in it. "Oh, how pret-....." She suddenly felt unexplainably sad, as though the rock was telling her how much it hated being in her pail. She let it drop back down and her shoulders slumped with a sorrow that she couldn't explain, the laments of her friend just so much dull droning in her large ears. Suddenly, she looked up and saw another attendant smiling down at her. "Aww, what's wrong, sweetie? Someone gave you a rock? The nerve, treating the grim reaper that way! Well, I have just the thing!" She reached into her bag and pulled out a plushie with a little skull face and a bobbed tail. "There now; you have a little friend to help you reap souls! Have a great night, little one!" Blinking, Zoe could only watch her go, clutching her plushie close and still only vaguely hearing Gilly going on about a Vespercat.
On the other side of the grounds from the two freshlings, Ruari sauntered along, eager to partake of this joyous holiday that seemed to revolve around everyone getting showered with gifts. Granted, the majority of the crowd seemed to be freshlings, but why should they get all of the fun just because they were still small? HE would appreciate each and every gift more than THEY ever could! And who wouldn't be eager to give him gifts when they saw him; if they didn't recognize him from the circus, they would still adore his dashing prince costume, adorned with various bits he had begged Seshara to let him borrow just for the occasion. He observed the dialogue from the freshlings running here and there, and figured putting his own impressive spin on it might increase his chances of a fine gift. Walking up to what seemed to be a generous elderly woman, he cleared his throat and held out his pail, red to match his dazzling princely robes. "Excuse me, my good woman; would you be so kind as to grace me with a generous contribution to my candy pail?" The woman turned around and blinked at him through spectacles that looked thicker than the first layer of Above and broke into a grin. "Well aren't you a handsome little fellow! Here now, I think I have something here just for you.....ah! A wonderful little gummy candy; the freshlings can't get enough; all they seem to do is giggle when I give it to them!" She reached out and let something drop, easily a foot to the right of his pail, and hobbled off with a kindly wave. Stunned, Ruari reached down and picked up the candy, his jaw dropping when he saw that it was none other than a gummy poo! His indignation left him standing there with his mouth hanging open; the prince of the Haunted Hallows, being given poo! A sudden meow brought his eyes back down to the ground, where an extraordinarily colored Vespercat was staring up at him expectantly. Shrugging his shoulders, he tossed the offending treat to the cat, who gobbled it up eagerly before springing up to rest on his shoulders. Ruari couldn't help grinning as he stroked the cat; well, at least it was good at getting rid of all things unsightly. Hopefully Seshara would let him keep it....
Aurelia giggled even as Meadow pushed her off, now completely stunned by the shrieking the chocolate had made her do. She looked back at Meadow curiously when he mentioned having his best friend (to which she blushed just a little) and a plushie, peeking to see another of the little skeleton plushies he had found. She smiled brightly. "Oh! I have one of those, too!" She pulled out her matching plushie in pastel colors, giggling a bit until she felt her shoulder grabbed. The hand spun her around and she came face-to-face with a very nervous looking grimm. "Take it! Take it and get it out of my sight! I can't take it anymore!" Without another warning they shoved something into Aurelia's hands and ran off crying. The nixie blinked a bit and looked down at her hands to see a rather old-looking and....slightly creepy doll staring back at her. "Whoa....spooky...I LOVE IT!" She exclaimed excitedly and held up the doll as she twirled in place.
Lural
Iolanthe walked up to a house that had a porch light on with a box that said 'Take one!' but no one manning it. Stepping closer she looked down at the top of the box to see it was completely covered except for a hole that one was supposed to reach through. Instantly apprehensive she shakily reached into the box, rummaging around till she felt her fingers grasp something smooth like glass. Upon pulling it out she was met with a bottle that was filled with a very strange green fluid. It looked kind of gross. Confused she just put it in her bucket and sighed, turning around to almost bump into a much smaller elf freshling that looked up at her with big round eyes. Too stunned to respond, she just stared at the child until they handed her a rather interesting and honestly adorable little plushie. "Oh....thank you very mu-!" Io looked up to thank the child only to see that they were gone and no sigh that they were anywhere nearby. Clutching her new plushie to her chest she turned and ran back to her group.
Kohaku smiled as he carried his new little revenant friend, deciding to name it Raisin because it sounded cute (and it seemed to really love raisins.) "I think you're going to love Quinn, my roommate. They're a great friend." They smiled at the creature before they caught the glint of something in a grassy patch not far from them. The baphomet walked over curiously and reached down to grab a small locket, looking at the pictures that were inside; their faces were scratched out and Kohaku had a great sense of sadness that was emanating from it. While they were focused on the locket they suddenly felt something bump into their shin with a small startled squeak. Kohaku looked down to see a little pink and blue fennekit, its eyes seemingly sealed shut and blind. "Oh my....you poor thing, what happened to you?" They bent down and carefully picked up the fluffy thing, cradling it against their chest; they could feel it shaking. "Shh, it's alright. You can come with me and Raisin. I'll take care of you, I promise." They spoke softly and calmly to the fennekit, nuzzling it softly as they felt it slowly stop shaking and nestle in their grasp. "I think I'll call you...Seeker."
The look Samhain had, at least what she could see of his face, was rather adorable as he pouted. "I might have peeked too." She admitted. It had been a long night, and she had wanted to explore the village. She still wanted to. Perhaps she could go visit them sometime.
"I don't even remember who it was that came up with that name. Was it Bebe? Or Azure? I don't think it was Callixtus or Nadinia..." She pondered, trying to remember who had said it first. Well, it didn't matter so much. The name was fun. Suddenly Samhain looked into his bucket and out climbed a little flitterat. "Oh! How cute." she looked at the familiar as it nuzzled Samhain. "It looks like you two have hit it off."
When Sam spoke again, she quirked a brow. "...did your voice change when you took that mask off?" Or was she imagining things? She stared at Samhain for a moment, but before she could say anything more, there was another student standing near by. She didn't know if he was from the academy or one of the universities, but smiled wickedly at her.
"Let me give you a hand." He said, shoving a glove filled with popcorn at her chest. She blinked as the guy ran off. "...o... okay... That was weird."
Kingston:
"To be fair" Kingston started "I hadn't seen you. You could have been anyone. But I'm glad it was you. You actually recited it back." He poked Vanna in the chest. He turned to look up at the fennekit and noticed the thing's eyes were sewn shut. The poor thing. It probably was wandering around lost all evening. Welp, Kingston couldn't get rid of it now! He scratched under the thing's chin when suddenly he found someone pushing a candy bat at him. He took it, and broke off a little piece to taste. Mmmm, milk chocolate.
As he tucked the candy into his pail, he smiled at Mai. "Oh? Do you think he would get jealous if I whisked you away?" He waved his hand out in an arc towards the sky. "We could run. I'll take you away to where he would never find us! Come my darling, let us away!" He tried to keep a straight face, but failed and started laughing. "Sorry. Sorry. That was even more cheese then I could handle." He smiled at Mai and Ren. "Think he'll still talk to me by the end of the night?"
Vega:
Vega was pretty happy with the evening. He was getting a lot of neat things this evening. He walked up to a booth and held up his basket. "Trick or treat!" A couple candies were dropped into his basket. "Thank you!" He reached in to try one of the candies... and was completely disappointed. "Bleh." He looked at the half eaten candy, when he heard a soft mewling at his feet. There was a little black and red fennekit at his feet. "...You want to try this?" He offered the candy. The little familiar took it and ate it happily, then contented itself to follow Vega around.
Meadow:
Aurelia pulled out her plushie, and his face fell a little. Nooooooooooooooo she already had a plushie? That's it! He had to get more then her! But then someone came running by and gave Aurelia.... a rather creepy doll thing. He wasn't going to count that as a plushie. That thing was just too creepy. Meadow stood up and brushed his pants off. He looked at the booth behind him and asked for a caramel apple. When he was given one, he grinned at Aurelia and took a big bite. "Mmmmmm~" He wondered if she'd be jealous of his treat.
Charon:
Ah, Charon felt it was time to take a breather. Socializing this much, while enjoyable, was actually really hard. He sat down on a bench, away from the crowds. He glanced down at the grass at his feet and noticed a little paper ghost. Huh, that was cute. He picked it up and tucked it into his bucket.
Keahi:
Keahi was looking around for something else to do. They walked around a little, glancing up at all the big kids as they clustered into groups and talked among themselves. "Do you feel left out?" One of the care givers asked. "Here you go. Now run along and have fun." They handed Keahi some candy. The child smiled and took a big bite before skipping away.

Harley was being tugged along by little Yuta, but she wasn't going to complain. She was glad he was so excited and ready to have fun at the festival. "Hey now, be careful!" She giggled, letting the young Kumiho's hand go so that he could grab some treats for himself.
Yuta happily ran off to go join in more festivities. 
What was this thing? It was cute but it's ears were weird. Some weird baby plush placed in his bucket. Sunan shrugged it off and went on his way.
What was with all these weird toys? This puppet gave off a creepier vibe than the other, but there was definitely something up with them.
Unfortunately her search for food was turning out pretty badly. Nothing was calling to her. Oberon would definitely give her an earful when she got home. He had warned her to eat something, but she had been so excited to come to the festival that she had gotten her costume ready and dashed out before grabbing something. Oh wait her newest and well only Nibling had packed her something. She pulled out the bag and was met with both a plushie and turnip. Maybe Keres had set the wrong bag out… but then the plushie had a note saying that Keres had made it for her….. strange. 
Mai couldn’t help herself and ended up laughing. Vanna had warned her that Kingston was a character but he was definitely laying on the ham. Still it was good to get compliments and watch Vanna flail a little bit. He had been overworked lately and so worried. She wanted to help him, but she knew that Vanna would never tell her about his work. She was lucky that she even knew what she did, but she had been there that night Vanna had come in after getting rid of his predecessor. Demis had meant a lot to Vanna at one time and when Demis died Vanna was a wreck. Now he was practically back to normal and smiling. Yeah she would definitely have to thank Kingston.
