Lea's Personality and Hobbies
Personality:Stickler for Rules and a Strong Sense of JusticeProtocols, policies, standards of procedures, rules. Lea believes that all of these have been created to maintain order in society and should be followed to the T. If something should be done in a certain manner because a rule says so, that's how it should be done. No ifs, ands or buts about it. He absolutely loathes unfairness and will therefore feel compelled to intervene whenever he sees any kind of injustice taking place around him, be it cheating, bullying or fighting for instance. He has a strong desire to protect the weak, vulnerable, down-trodden and under-represented, and willingly protects others even if it is going to be at his own expense.
IntelligentA bright child, Lea has never had problems with his academics in school. He is perceptive, has the uncanny ability to grasp new concepts faster than his peers and has even gone on to ace his classes a couple of times. Not one to hoard information, he is always all too happy to share his knowledge with his friends whenever they ask him for help.
Neat and OrganizedOne of the few things that Lea is almost obssessive compulsive about, is being neat and tidy. He takes great pride in being organized and knowing where everything is whenever he needs them, and has even taken it upon himself to clean up other people's messes on many occasions since he dislikes those with a passion.
SecretiveLea doesn't like to talk much about his family or his past, not wanting people to take pity on his circumstances and start treating him differently. He is used to keeping all his problems, concerns and feelings bottled up within himself and is not very good at voicing out his opinion or expressing himself. He does however have a tendency to speak his mind when angry or provoked, and may even accidentally let slip some of the things that he never intended for anyone else to know.
Quick to Anger, Even Quicker if It Involves Family or KittiesLea has a short fuse. It doesn't take a lot to set him off into a boiling rage, especially when it involves speaking badly about his family or harming his feline friends. When Lea gets mad, he becomes a totally different person. No longer meek nor mild-mannered, he forgets about everything and curses, hisses, scratches, bites, even throws things if he gets pushed that far.
If I Didn't Ask for Your Opinion, Don't. Say. Anything.Lea absolutely hates it when people start to offer what he refers to as "unsolicited" advice. He is stubborn and set in his mind about the way things should be done or placed, and will only consider other's opinions when he *asks* for them. If he thinks that A should be done before B then followed by C, he will do it that way and get very upset when people come and tell him otherwise, even if it may result in the process being more efficient.
Absent-mindedWith so many things going on in Lea's mind most of the time, it is no wonder that he gets lost in them and occasionally forgets what he is doing or where he is going. This frustrates him to no end since it usually equates to spending time figuring out what he should be doing next or searching for things that he had accidentally misplaced. Time that could be utilized in a more productive manner in his opinion.
Hobbies:SwimmingLea enjoys swimming more as a leisure activity than as a competitive sport. The weightless feeling and buoyancy when one is in the water. The various techniques available to one's disposition. Apart from the overpowering chlorine smell that seems to cling to him like a second skin every time he goes to the pool, Lea really has no other gripes about the activity and always enjoys a good soak as well as a few laps at his own pace every other day, if not daily, before turning in for the day.
Taking napsLea sleeps
a lot, usually an average of 10-12 hours a day not including the naps he takes as well. He gravitates towards being a heavy sleeper, and has a tendency to just roll over and go back to sleep even after someone had just gone through the trouble of waking him up. He also possesses the ability to sleep anywhere in any position. Supine, upright, slumped on a table or curled up on the floor. You name it, he's probably done it.
CookingLea loves good food (it goes without saying that he's a meat lover ;D) and has even gone on to take it upon himself to prepare his own meals on a regular basis. His creations are usually not big on the presentation factor, but the smell and taste of them certainly beg to differ otherwise. He is a fussy eater and will not settle for anything less unless it is something that he has little to no control over such as food from the school cafeteria or a dish that someone else had cooked. It may sound ridiculous but Lea does get into a pretty foul mood whenever he has had something that tastes bad. He believes that every ingredient that makes up a dish would naturally taste good and that it is only the fault of the person putting together the resultant dish that can account for why it tastes so bad. He can get pretty critical about this but will usually hold his tongue unless the person in question is someone whom he is close to.
