I hate to do this, but between things happening irl with being super busy and also with the way gaia has been since this has started, I'm going to be closing this petition.
If there is anyone who wishes to continue it or take over on it, please do so.
I'm sorry

So, I'm a member of club verge, and I want to take the chance being in that guild gives me to let gaians from all levels be heard.
We have all seen a lot of people bemoaning things, be it the frequency of the sales, all of the new pop up 'limited time sales' reminders, the raise in pricing on all the cash shop items, etc.
Let's take this time to put our feedback together into a message to pass along. Maybe if enough of us stand together we can finally get the message through to gaia that we do not appreciate being treated as though we are just wallets, but users who love this website. That for the money we are spending we would like to see things maintained, we would like to see things improved, and we would like to see less of gaia trying to make spending cash mandatory to being on this site.

Statement:
There seems to be a kind of universal discontent at the current state of the website. People have been growing anxious for a while, and this Flynn release seems to have acted as a catalyst.
It's clear everyone still really wants to support Gaia, both with time and money. It is also clear that things cannot nor should continue on as they have been. Please consider the Gaian's opinions who actually USE the site.
What users would like to see happen with the money we are spending.
For the money that we spend we would appreciate:
-Less new items and limited sales and more progress on things we have asked for or previously been promised.
-Bring back useful features like the chat bar (or something similar, it was much loved by many).
-Create a better inventory system and don’t just mention that one is in the works.
-Devote more time to faster bug and error fixes on items that glitch.
-More fixes on the games being released (and actually keep games around that we are investing a lot of our time and money into), and update the wonderful games you do have before spending time on making new ones. Booty grab hasn’t been updated in ages (with the way that gaia is throwing gold around, are the nerfs on it still needed?), and zomg has been completely abandoned, despite still having many loyal users. Removing games that allow users to play and also get gold is also not helping.
-More security is needed for accounts.
-An option to turn off/ down the amount of cash notifications.
-Additional ways to earn gold. In the current market 150k is nothing. This excludes a lot of users, especially new ones. Remember your audience is 13 and up. A lot of that group does not have a bunch of disposable income, but they still can bring a lot of other things in that will benefit gaia. Right now, there are 6 ways to earn gold on this site, and 3/4 of them are limited!
1- Cash, which is/started the problem.
2- Selling your talent. Not everyone is talented.
3- Vending most users find difficult. AND they've been banning vendors lately because they're 'too fast. So fast [Gaia] can't tell the difference between them and a bot'.
4- Hoarding, and you need money to start, and it takes practice and patience, and Gaia is not cultivating that attitude
5- zOMG
6- Booty Grab
-Give us breathing room in-between cash sales. If you are going to have ‘sales’ with items for $500, either set up an advance schedule so that users can plan in advance being able to set aside that much money or else space the sales further apart.
-Less emphasis on using Gaia Cash, more of an emphasis on what a loving community is. This is the main reason why users are on this site. To forget this is to lose everything.
-Stop treating us like a wallet and start treating us like human beings.
In short, for the money we are spending we would like to see things maintained, we would like to see things improved, and we would like to see less of Gaia trying to make spending cash mandatory to being on this site.
We do realize that Gaia is a business. A business that does not listen to the wants and needs of its sales base will not remain in business for long. We all love this site, which is why we dedicate so much time, energy, and resources towards it. Please do not take us for granted.
Sincerely,
