"Yeah, that sounds-" Miko started, but cut herself off when she heard the woman gasp. Who exactly was that? She couldn't be sure. The Cat shifted to Cheetah form and quickly pounced, trying to knock the both of them down to help Natalie.

She was too late, however, she landed and ended up rolling, bonking into a wall as she did. "That didn't end well..." She said, though anyone unable to understand cats would just hear it as a set of growls.

Yumi turned to look just as something disappeared. Considering she saw her sister, it must have been something. "Miko? What happened?" She asked, rushing over. That was when the mermaid fish girl from yesterday came by. "Hey!" She said excited, she had been about to rush over, but she was also a bit concerned about her sister.

She understood that question...it had been asked countless of times by authorities of different nationalities. This was enough to have her guess that perhaps he was of some important embassy, and perhaps would know where she should go. Rummaging in her pockets, she pulled a few letters out, each in different languages, until she found the one in English. Handing it over to the old man, she stammered for a few seconda.

"Mama write thees. Please read, yes?"

If he did take it and read it, the letter enclosed this:

"To whom it may concern,

If you are reading this letter, we are assuming our daughter is in a safe place. She knows not much english, but the royal family is in danger. We have sent Anna to Durem, in hopes they will not find her. Please keep her safe, we are ever in your debt."

The parchment was signed with the Royal seal of a faraway, cold, country.

A mix of relief and anxiety washed over the girl as she noticed that it was the woman from yesterday, the one who had scared her and also tried to comfort her. "Hello," she responded hesitantly. She saw, but she wasn't afraid.

Her bright green eyes finally took in the scene laid out before her, seeing a growling cheetah who seemed to have bumped her poor head. Lenusy approached slowly, looking concerned. "Are you okay?" She asked the animal, her voice soft. The girl hadn't seen the healer shift into the creature, having burst into the shop only seconds afterward.

A loud yawn emerged from the brown haired man, blinking the sleep from his eyes before peering around. His earthen colored eyes staring at everything as he awoke, no hang over this time. Without so much as a care he pulls out his cigarettes and lighter. Placing one of the smoke sticks between his lips before flicking open his lighter, he lite the tip of the cigarette before he inhaled from it. Exhaling a cloud as he closed his lighter and slipped it back into his pocket alongside his pack of cigarettes. "Can't believe I was turned into a damn baby."
Jeffry accepted the item and pulled out a set of reading spectacles. Once he had them on, he scanned the letter he'd been handed. "Oh my..." he muttered. Returning his gaze to the girl, he offered his hand for a handshake. "You can call me Jeffry. Why don't we go inside? It should be safe there." So long as no one causes any chaos of course......

"And we can get you something to drink, hm?" He would offer food, but the magic shop didn't have any areas dedicated to food just yet. The owner hadn't completed his renovations last Jeffry checked.

Anna shook his hand, amazed at how much easier it was than always curtsying and bowing. She nodded as he spoke, catching a few words. Inside, and safe. Also, something that sounded like a name. As they walked inside, she looked around, wide eyed at the sheer amount of books. The palace had also had a library, but it had been burnt down thanks to the bandits and the pillaging.

Fighting the urge to wander off, she stuck close to the old man, careful to not trip over anything.

Miko looked up at her, then looked over at her sister. She wanted to shift back, but wasn't sure how the girl would react. Most others wouldn't mind, the shop was crazy, but she had the feeling it wouldn't go over as well with her. "You better warn her." She told her sister, though of course all anyone else heard was another growl.

Yumi blinked. "She's fine." She said happily. "She's uh... my sister. She's a natural born Cheetah, but she can turn Human. We're a gifted family." She added. Admittedly, she didn't want her to freak out either. She still felt a bit bad.

So they were an entire family of people who could change their forms. She looked back to the cheetah, her green eyes distant for a moment. I wonder if I have a sister somewhere. If she did, she might not be alive anymore. Her sister would've lived a long, long time ago.

She jumped slightly, her hands clasping together at her collarbone as a man appeared. He spoke of being turned into a baby... "Does everyone in Solomon's shapeshift?" She asked, the question directed toward's Yumi, though her bright green eyes stared at the brown haired man. He was scary, yes, but... something about him made Lenusy pause. She didn't understand why she couldn't take her eyes off of him as she watched him take a drag from his cigarette.

Harper smoked his cigarette, merely relaxing from his spot against the shelving, he felt he was being watched and looked up. His eyes locking with Lenusy's, he looked her over for a second before his eye began to twitch. There was a sudden realization in his own head. Like hell she could be back, I saw her burn. Harper blew out a cloud of smoke toward Lenusy, before his face switched to a sly grin. He was plotting and he knew the old wolf would love to be part of it. Especially because of what she did to the both of them.
Jeffry led the girl to a table, pulling out a seat for her. "What is your name?" he asked her, trying to keep his sentences simple and to the point. According to the letter, she did not have a complete grasp of the language.

Jeffry offered Lenusy an apologetic smile. He could treat her to the promised ice cream a little later. Though at the moment, Lenusy seemed quite drawn to Harper. Hopefully they would not have a repeat of the last time Harper lost control to the wolf. Internally, he tsked.

The old man's attention took in the others currently around, including the feline and another young lady. Two he had yet to meet.

"Anna! I am Anna."

At least she was able to remember that much from her textbooks. The room caught her attention, noticing the girl from earlier, who had fallen over herself at the sight of her. She seemed relaxed now, which was a relief. Anna had been worried that she had frightened the stranger.

"I have 13 years. Eh.." Anna furrowed her brow, trying to be helpful by recalling things about herself. Her mind stalled, and she could only smile a bit sheepishly, embarrassed that she was not as educated as a Princess should be.

Miko, while the girl's back was turned, shifted. She had been warned already. "No, not everyone. Just so happens we get a few of them here." She told her. When she looked over to who she was staring at, she started looking back at forth. She didn't like the looks like were giving each other.

Yumi had been about to say something, but then her head tilted at the guy on the other side of the shop. Why was he looking this way? Did he see something interesting? She looked around at them. She felt they all looked ordinary. She didn't understand.

His eyes met her's, and her heart leapt in her chest, making her turn her head away. She missed his grin, though she noted the intensity in his eyes as he looked at her. What was that expression? Interest, hatred?

She turned as another voice addressed her, seeing a dark-haired woman where the cheetah had been. The suddenly appearance of the woman hadn't startled Lenusy as it might have if she didn't know that the cheetah was actually a woman. "W-Who else, other than..." She stumbled, looking shy, and even a little ashamed. "T-Than the three of us?" The topic made Lenusy curious. It seemed that the two sisters were comfortable with their other forms, though to Lenusy, they seemed completely in control of their other forms. I wonder if there are people who turn into monsters.

Trash Smoker

The smell, the sight, not the personality. Oh she is for sure the real thing. We should rip her throat out now! No we should wait, a good predator stalks it's prey not charges it. The two spirits fought within Harper's own head, his right eye was yellow while the left stayed brown as he kept grinning. Taking another drag from his cigarette before rising to his feet, the man chose to listen at this point. Blowing out another cloud he looked over Lenusy some more, perhaps he shouldn't kill her. At least not right off the bat, why not have some fun?
"Anna," the old man repeated. She was only thirteen? Such a harsh thing to face while so young. "You must have been through so much," he said, a bit more quietly. He could not just abandon the girl, not when she needed help. His current residence was far too small for more than one person.

"Do you have a place to stay?" he asked, "To sleep?" Jeffry tried to tune out the mild drama occurring elsewhere in the shop. His priority in this moment was Anna.
