If anyone had felt compelled to check the laboratory of the former potions expert Wilton, they would find his equipment had been removed. A few jars of dried herbs also seemed to be missing from the pantry. There was a note pinned to the door of the lab, which read as follows:

Ross,
I have decided to resign my position as potions specialist for the shop. I heard second hand that the shop had closed, and was not given an opportunity to retrieve my equipment. Which, I might add, is rather expensive and delicate. I suggest you spare a thought for the interests of your employees before acting so brashly in the future. I apologize for taking such drastic measures to retrieve my equipment, but you must understand that I cannot do any work without it.

Ross had enjoyed the quiet. He read through tomes he had never known the shop had. When he needed food, he got it... He napped a bit. And slid out to get some much needed "supplied". Pushing at the jammed door, he through a bound man on the floor. The man was bound and gagged, a large symbol painted in spray paint on his chest. He grabbed his hair and pulled him down into the pits. Keeping him down in the sewers below, he would slowly bleed the demon. He knew it would kill the vessel... But such matters no longer swayed him.

He returned to the main level some time later. He carried several jars of crimson blood. Enough to last a few days. The door to the catacombs below was locked. He smiled as some of the demonic elixir drippes down his chin. He had let Lucy return from her shopping and she went to bed. Without any customers, Ross was content to just resume his reading. He set the mason jars down as if they were water by a bed side. As he read, he would sip at them. Each drop pumping through his viens.

He had spent all night working. Still researching and reading. The table was covered in books. Each opened to a page and left sitting under another book. A scrap of paper had various markings, with arrors and symbols as if to draw a diagram. The once angel yawned. Human limitations now reached the best of him. He folded up the paper and crammed it into his pocket. Hoping t snag an hour or so of sleep, he flopped onto a soft arm chair. The ornate wood carves on the handles were cool to the touch, but it was still soft. After a few minutes, he was asleep.

Ross awoke a few hours later. His neck was stiff, but he felt more rested than he had in days. He scratched his head as he wandered back to the table. He rummaged through his books, looking at the paper in his pocket. He hoped to find a starting point for the days work.

He looked around the empty room. It was still peaceful. No fighting, yelling... just the popping of the fire. His eyes wandered to the stairway up to the loft.

Lucy was laying in bed awake. The blankets were kicked off her and laying on the floor. It had gotten to hot for her liking. Even with the bed to herself. Her ears picked up the sound of Ross moving about. She kind of figured she would have slept alone.

Lucy rolled herself out of bed. There was no use in laying around all day. Even if her body wanted her too. Everything hurt. Her whole body was sore and rather liked just laying about. Even the twins liked the laying down idea. They kicked and punched about as Lucy made her way to the bathroom. "I hope you two are not like this once you are here." Lucy reached into the shower. Turning on the water. Next she removed her robe to step into the warm water shower.

Once Lucy was done making herself all clean she got dressed. Black and white dressy dress. Black thigh highs that were held up by a garter belt and some white flat shoes. Lucy looked at herself in the mirror as she brushed her short pink hair. They said people glowed while carrying babies, but Lucy couldn't see it. Maybe because she was stressed to high hell.

She made her way down to the shop. Catching Ross staring up at the stairs. "You know you are allowed up there."

Ross was on his phone when she arrived downstairs. He was speaking to someone and waved to his wife.

"Yes. Transfer it to the personal account. The rest, I want moved into the three new accounts. Yes... Yes..."

After a bit more conversing, he hung up. He turned to the wolf.

"Yes, I know. I didn't want to disrupt you. Plus I had a lot of work to do."

He wandered towards the wolf and reached into his pocket. He revealed a brand new cellphone and handed it to her. He waved his own new phone back and forth.

"Without my powers I can't hear you call... So for now..."

He again motioned to the phones. He had occasionally used technology, computers and phones, but he was able to appear to anypne who called his name. This was no longer the case. After a few seconds, it dawned on him. He rushed to the table. He left his previous papers... instead grabbing a map of Gaia and some building plans.

"Lets move!"

He pulled them open to hold them out on display.

"This is a business... Not a home. That loft isn't a safe place for babies... Let alone all the weapons, spells, and poisonous chemicals. So... I moved some money around and we're gonna buy a new home."

It was often forgotten by Ross and unknown by others that Ross was well off. His vessel had been a successful lawyer in Durem before being a shell for the angel. This allowed Ross to use his assets, clothes, accounts and connections. A few calls under the name "Ross Allen" and he could do quite a bit. In this case it was clearing some red tape to get funds for a new building in the heart of Gaia.

Lucy watched as the man went on about something 9n the phone. By sounds of it he was moving his money. Lucy feared he would leave them for good. Then he came over to her. Handing her a phone. She looked at it in her hand. Her thumb running along the front of it.

Before she could even talk he spat out about moving. "Moving?." She stared at him blankly. She as well as him worked so hard to make this their home. "Ross..I don't know. What are you thinking?"

"Yes."

He folded the proposal paperwork. He had a place in mind. Grabbing the wolf's hand and lead her to the window. Outside near the alley loomed the Clocktower. It had been famous for the Sniper attack on Gambino. An event which lead to the decline of the Von Helson's, Ian's past catching up to him, and the overall destruction of Gaia's golden age. He had often viewed it as a terrible place. But recently it stood tall and powerful over Durem... Their home.

"There... The clock..."

Lucy stared out the window with him. "The clock tower?!?." It was a bit of a shock to her. How in the world would they make that their home? Lucy started to laugh a bit. "Have you gone mental?"

Either way the wolf would follow him anywhere. "Okay..let's do it." She turned to face Ross now. He was so excited about this. Lucy pictured him with a wagging tail. This made the woman laugh again. She placed her hands on her belly. It seemed her laughing had woken the twins inside.

Ross walked around. He had already spoken to a contractor. It wasn't just about the tower. He had looked at a place in the Isle and Barton. But when it all came down to it, they were city dwellers. The large number of scum in ths city was a feeding ground for growing wolves. He looked at the clock tower... a home.

"Its perfect. Elegant... large. A great view of the sky and moon. On clear days you can see the lights of Gambino on the sea."

He stopped behind her, his hands rested over hers on her stomach.

"High enough and strong enough to keep three wolves in on full moons."

Lucy smiled as his hand rested on hers. She slide her hands out from under his. Letting him feel the twins move about inside her. "Boy and a girl." She laid her head back on him. Looking up at him.

"Thank you can handle 3 wolves?" It would be some time before the twins had their first change. They could deal with that mess when it came. "First few years they won't change on the full moon. They may just be super hyper." Lucy laughed at the thought of them bouncing around. Driving their daddy nuts.

The man laughed.

"I can hardly handle one wolf... But we'll push through. We always do."

He rubbed her belly for a moment before walking over to the books. He picked up the paperwork.

"What are we gonna do about this place? You own it..."

He hadn't much thought about what would happen to the shop. They would only be across the street, but who knows. He closed the books on the table and wandered back over. Now he held the paperwork he had worked on for the last few days.

Lucy turned away from the window. Her eyes following him. "Well I would like the cafe to remain open but why not turn this into something where you can help teach people. I over heard you talking in your sleep once that you wanted to teach.* she flashed him a smile. "Besides you may need a place to escape the children for a bit."

Lucy felt a rather sharp pain go up her spine. She bent over a bit. She needed to sit down. Once the pain was gone Lucy walked over to a chair. Sitting down slowly. "Hellsing wants us there for the birth." She knew this wouldn't go over well at all.

Ross followed her to a chair, he wanted to make sure she was alright. Once she seemed comfortable, he slid his hands into his pockets.

"You might have some deal with them. Shilo will always have a hold and so will you. Even Karen is now bound to them. But these are ours. They have no part in his. Not them... or "them"."

He notioned his head in a nod upward.

"We make the choices. If you want to go... I will support you. But they won't play any role in their life. Neither will my... family. If you want, we can find a quietest spot on earth... clean and safe. Have them their, where neither side can see."

"They won't but they want them safe. They have many skilled doctors. I would feel better going there. It would only be you and me in the room. " Lucy looked up at him with pain in her eyes. "They have helped out so much while you were away Ross."

Lucy felt tired all of the sudden. She let out a yawn. "That and I think Reaper will be sticking around after the babies are born. Will be nice to have the help. Not sure when Karen will be done with her schooling but it's helping."
