Wild Child
She doesn’t know how to deal with school--she's never been. Her mother taught her to read and write, tried to teach her to sew, and managed to teach her to cook - she makes great tortillas and red beans and rice, and has a love for spicy. But all of her lessons were either in her home during the evenings--family bonding, you know? Or on the streets where she learned as she lived. She's great at dancing, a fair hand at singing, and can play her violin to make the fallen angels cry. But never has she sat in a classroom and taken notes.
She isn't quite sure what this new life expects of her. So to compensate for her lack of knowledge she'll start out by pretending to be like her mother -- a very classy lady. Unfortunately, she won't be very good at it, too much of her hoyden nature showing up, especially when she loses her temper.
But Still a Child
She is, surprisingly, extremely sheltered in her own way. In Los Muertos they believe it takes a village to raise a child, and that's how she's been raised. Everyone knew her, loved her, and kept her out of trouble--but when she gets to school there'll be no one to cover up for her, or rescue her. She's far too curious and hard headed--she's going to get herself into a lot of trouble that way. And she definitely sees herself as the David to everyone else's Goliath-- she's always trying to do the right thing, and those that do right, win!! Right?
Also? No tech skills. She only knows what a computer is because she saw one in the library. Televisions are something that are rare and usually in public places, like restaurants. Phones are ancient things and as rare as the televisions--seeing one carried around will shock her.
Grieving Child
She acts tough, she'll launch attacks without a thought, she'll get her revenge on the callous idiota that abandoned her and her mother one day, so what if he's huge and sort of scary?? But she’s alone and she’s lonely. When her mother died, she lost her entire world, pretty much. There was a discussion throughout the town about what should be done with her--there were even a few offers to adopt her, but mostly from families that were too large to begin with, and couldn't afford to raise the kids they already had.
A Scythe - Regardless of who knows it.
Terra only recently found out that her father’s name was Las Vegas Nevada Scythe. She was raised by her mother in a small town called Los Muertos, where she lived in a small adobe style house, growing up barefoot and wild. Her mother was a Catrina (A spanish style skeleton), so she’s always wondered why she wound up being a reaper. Unfortunately, her mother recently passed away, leaving her with no family and no ties except the neighbors.
She found out that her father was still alive not more than a few weeks ago--one of the neighbors let it slip, and is coming to Halloween to find him. When she went to "El Padre" (who is more like one of the leaders of the town) he jumped on the idea of sending her to boarding school--and she didn’t stop him--it was the only way she could afford to come here. But she isn’t expecting a happy reunion with Vegas. HE LEFT THEM. He left her mother to die poor and alone, and he abandoned his child. She wants revenge. (Or so she tells herself.)
Why are they enrolled in Amityville Academy? She’s come to find the father she’s never met, and to do that she needs a place to stay--school was the only way that the people of her town would pay for her to come all the way to Halloween Town. She has no plans for the future, never even really thought of it. She’s very much in the now.
FEAR Ability: Lo Siento - The Chill. She plays a simple melody that heals herself or her ally.
Physical Description: Thin, delicate, waif like female with big silvery blue eyes and strange tattoos.
Eye Colour: silver with a hint of blue (Somewhat like Roch's)
Hair Colour/Style: long, blonde, straight, falling over her shoulders - for pictures, though, she puts part of it up with flowers, black roses are good!
Skin Colour: lightly tanned
Clothing Style/Colours: Spanish peasant top, with slits in the arms and large neck, capris or a ruffled peasant skirt, barefoot, colors of black, red - artistic license is love.
Extra:
She has tattoos (and paint) (the flower on the forehead is permanent, not makeup) of flowers/designs around her eyes and mouth, much like the Catrina skeletons do. Actually, she's working towards the full face. Right now only the forehead is done, she has to paint the white and the rest. She’s also got a musical weapon-- an electric violin, which she has always wondered WTJ about, but will understand when she meets her “family.” Feel to take artistic license with her tattoos on the face, and even the hands if you want! And the weapon--Bitti and I came up with the double headed ax idea<3

Q & A
Q. What's the Scythe thing about? Is she related to Roch?
A. Yes! She's his aunt! And two years younger than he is, the poor guy OTL. For those of you that haven't met his granddad, Vegas, he's... very much the type to get super drunk and wind up with a kid he doesn't even know about.
Q. Wait, Vegas doesn't know?
A. Is her name Argentina? No, no its not. Vegas has no jackin' CLUE he's got a daughter. He only BARELY remembers the night it happened, and he definitely doesn't remember it the same way her mother did.
Q. How does a reaper and a skeleton... y'know... have a kid?
A. Pumpkins. Read the scareling primer. Then you can ask the question of just how long Vegas was drunk that time... And you'd be right.
Q. How will Austin (Roch's dad, her half brother) react?
A. *Crickets chirping*
Q. How will Roch react?
A. Surprisingly... I don't see him being that shocked. Or surprised OTL
Q. Isn't Vegas sortta... OLD to be a dad?
He's around sixty, maybe sixty one -- that makes him in his mid forties when she was born--also, it's been said that FEAR creatures don't tend to age like we do, they last a lot longer. But even human men have kids in their forties, sometimes older.
Q. Will she speak Spanish?
A. She'll toss in some words here and there, but for the most part she speaks English. She does have an accent, though!
Q. Does she have any bad habits?
A. TONS. She often forgets to brush her hair, so it gets tangled, she NEVER thinks before she acts, she chews on her fingernails, she uses her violin bow as a back scratcher--oh, she's glaring at me now, so I'll stop.
Q. Boils or Ghouls?
A. Boils? Honestly she's completely dense when it comes to romance. She's not out to bag a good looking boilfriend, she's out to get reven--oooh, is that a fiesta?? BRB!
Q. What will her reaction to Roch be?
A. I don't know OTL. I really wanna see that, myself.
