I feel very numb right now...

I had a feeling this would happen, but I foolishly thought they wouldn't betray us to this degree.

I'll be leaving in January if nothing is done to make this up to us.

I won't have a home. I might meander Towns2, albeit rarely.

Hopefully sell them back to Gaia for fair prices, there's no use selling them in MP.

I have no pics, but my favorite memory is hunting Gnomes in Village Greens with my friends ("Oh Gnome he didn't!" ).

As many of you know we shut down zOMG! to perform critical repairs to the game servers. Particularly we were addressing some critical vulnerabilities in the server infrastructure. We could not give a specific repair completion date because the extent of what systems the repairs would make to the game were unknown. Sadly, the changes needed were extensive and due to both hardware and Engineering limitations we had to make the tough call not to proceed. This means our beloved zOMG! MMO will not be making a triumphant return.

How do I feel? Really sad man

Did I frowned upon would happen? Yeah I did, even since before Gaia decides to put it to "maintenance", I have known this would come and lived in fear until "that day" comes.

zOMG means a lot to me, the sole thing that invites me and makes me stay in Gaia. It's also a place where I met most of mah friends! I think would go away since the thing kept me going to here is gone. Now it's gone, so does my purpose.

I think I'll let zOMG items rot in the inventory

been calling out on gaia's s**t with games since they "took it down for maintenance"
They literally did the same thing, excuse and all, with Frontier Skies.
Even though I expected it, I just feel ...disappointed they actually proved me right.
The maps they integrated in Towns2 doesn't even serve justice to the original zOMG. So empty and shitty w/o the lovable NPCs interaction. Not to mention, it's one of Gaia's most successful games. You could tell the developers actually enjoyed making this game with all the jokes and stuff. So much history gone.... I'll probably log in gaia once a year from now on tbh

So disappointing, been playing zOMG! since '08 with my friends.
My main 'home' is forums, though Towns and zOMG! were both about equal.
I'm going to miss that game, and all the friends who will leave Gaia because they've only stuck around for zOMG! so they could fight on it.
