Though he finally starts to notice she is more interested in his owl,and lets her pet it for a moment to calm her down.

With nary a glance at the barmaid- or what she assumes to be (Ages are odd. Are they coming back into fashion after all this time?) she hums a soft tune. Nostalgic to all that hear it, but foreign to their people perhaps.
