Today I went to a class and then drove, like, 20 miles down a dirt road, which sucked but at least the woods were pretty and there were cute animals like a turkey family and a gopher tortoise.
And now I know what's down that road, and to never go down it ever again.

Today I met a snake.
Snake?!
SNAAAAAAKE!

I was letting the dogs out when I noticed it not too far off the path so it was a little startling.
Had to pick the smallest dog up to get her away before she noticed it.

Today I spent some time with my older sister to clean a section of our home.

It took us approximately 3 hours to get everything cleaned up and stored away properly, and we are very pleased with the results of this little venture of ours.

Today I finished the Silmarillion after over a month of reading it. I would say it's a decent book, but only read it if you're VERY interested in lord of the rings lore. Tolkein's lays the names and terms he made up on thick, to the point where the index of names is over 60 pages.

Today I learned about the y2k bug from a podcast I regularly listen to.
I looked it up, and while reading through some explanations for the y2k scare, there was a related recommendation under Google's explore more section for 'year 2038 problem'.

Yeah...I'll save that up for another day.
