Anyway, my reasoning for thinking Chibi Usa is evil: She became evil with minimal brainwashing. She HATED her family deep down inside, and it was very easy to turn her against them. Also because in the manga (the true way Naoko meant her characters to be) she didn't give a damn about her mother, she cried for Pluto dying, not Serenity almost dying.

She was FIVE, man. Cut her some slack....

Uhh... NO, she was Nine HUNDRED and Five... give or take a decade.

Hello, all! *wavewave* n.n;
I've been a Sailormoon fan since it first aired in the US on the USA network and Toonami. Even though the dubbing left me confused at times, I couldn't help being an addict to the series and researching it to hell. I've since read all of the manga and have seen all five seasons/three movies in Japanese. ^-^ I also have the first two series in dub, really just for nostalgic reasons.. #^.^#;
I adore all of the characters and the fandom has always been something close that I hold dear to me, since it was what introduced me to Japanese animation and all the greatness that comes with it. biggrin

On the first page of this thread someone mentioned "Sailor Moon Stupid." ^.^ I found it hilarious! It was cool when I found it, too, because I had read the fanfic way prior to hearing the radioplay. 4laugh Has anybody else heard this or read this?

If a nine hundred year old being still has the mind of a five year old... she has a mental disorder. sweatdrop She's got Serenity's naivete(sp?) and simplicity, but she's not a five year old child, she understands more than the teenagers do, she just doesn't accept everything. She's just a spoiled child, another part of her evilness. *shudder*

...this might sound stupid but i dont actually get the whole serinity thing..its liek QUeen Serenity was princess serenity's mother... Princess Serenity turns into Neo Queen Serenity then Serenity becomes princess serenity ...O.o

why are they all named serenity..and dont u think its weird serenity's dad never appered anywhere or was mentioned or the one serenity before that..theres always lil serenity/rini/cibi usa's dad mentioned.. is this a never ending spirow... is the future the past?

It's pretty common to name your children after another family member. It could simply be a tradition in the family. I didn't find it that confusing, since both Queen Serenity and Princess Serenity/Neo Queen Serenity have different titles.

I also don't think it's all that strange for Serenity's father to have not been mentioned. Sure, I wouldn't mind seeing a picture of the guy, but it's not too out of the ordinary.

I didn't quite follow that last part there.

I agree with you Zahmira. Also, it's common in royalty to carry on the name (ie- Louis XIV and Louis XVI of France). And as for Usagi's fatehr from the Silver Millennium, I guess he wasn't all that important because he wasn't royalty by blood? At least, I assume that Serenity is the blood descendent of the royal family.

As for Chibi-Usa's dad being mentioned... he has to be since he's important to the plot of BSSM. I mean, after all, he's everyone's least favourite caped side kick!

It'd make more sense if they were the actual horoscopes of the Senshi's birthdays... Saturn's Capricorn, not Moon, and Moon is Cancer, not Pluto. It's kinda cute though. I'd like it more if the creator had done more research. 3nodding
